DisclaimerNaruto & Bleach is not mine.

Chapter 5 is done.

The cover picture, not mine.

thor94 I don't want to put in crossover. Most characters in this fic are all in the Narutoverse. Just like I said, very few mentions of Bleach characters.

Thanks for reading.

Chap 5

Kyuubi

Deep within the sealed chamber, the tailed beasts stirred restlessly. The Nine-Tails let out a low growl, his massive, fiery eyes narrowing as he struggled to see. It was faint, distant, yet unmistakable.

Hollow — the very embodiment of death.

"That... abomination,"

The Tail's Beast snarled, his voice reverberating within Naruto's mind.

"It has no right to exist. A creature that disrupts the balance, that eats souls and throws them in eternal torment."

"It even consumes my chakra to throw at it."

With a roar that reverberated like thunder, Kyuubi threw all his might into a ferocious attempt to break free. His tails, each a mountain of chakra, slammed into the gate repeatedly, and the chains groaned under the pressure. Every fiber of his being was focused on breaking through, smashing the gate reclaiming his freedom, and escaping the fate of being eaten by that abomination.

But the seal, crafted bythe Fourth, held firm.

But not the chains; break ethereal chains suddenly burst forth, snaking across the vast mental landscape with frightening speed. They coiled like living serpents, moving beyond the gate.

At the hill

Haku Yuki

Without more words, she slipped her arms beneath him, one cradling his back, the other sliding under his knees. In one fluid motion, she lifted him effortlessly into a bridal carry.

Her strength was otherworldly, yet her grip was oddly tender, as though she were holding something precious. His head lolled to the side, resting against her shoulder, his unconscious state leaving him helpless in her grasp.

Haku mind flickered with thoughts of what would happen when he woke up.

She imagined the confusion in his eyes, the panic that might fill him when he realized where he was. But she didn't worry. She would calm him, and explain everything to him. He just needed time to understand—time to realize that being with her was the best thing for him.

He didn't need anyone else. He would see that soon enough.

For now, though, she was content to simply watch him and enjoy the quiet, intimate moment they shared. She leaned down, pressing her forehead gently against his, her eyes closing as she savored the closeness.

"I'll take care of you," she whispered, her voice soft but resolute.

"You'll never be alone again. You'll never have to worry anymore."

Kakashi Hatake

His mind raced, trying to figure out the next move. The snowstorm wasn't natural. There was something off about it, something that made his instincts scream that it wasn't just the work of jutsu but something darker.

He gripped his kunai tightly, the metallic cold almost biting into his hand, as he scanned the area for any signs of the enemy. He couldn't even sense chakra through the storm—it was too chaotic, too wild.

Suddenly, the howling wind stopped.

The snow, which had been falling in thick, blinding waves, stilled in the air, hanging in the space around him as if time itself had paused. For a moment, Kakashi stood frozen, his visible eye widening beneath his forehead protector, completely thrown off by the abrupt stillness. It was eerie—too quiet, too unnatural.

He scanned the area, his Sharinganwhirring to life, trying to pierce through the veil of snow. He could now see the individual flakes suspended in the air, shimmering with an almost unnatural glow. It was beautiful, in a way, but Kakashi wasn't fooled by beauty. He knew that danger often lurked behind such stillness.

One moment, the storm had been a violent force of nature, battering against him and making every movement feel heavy and strained; he couldn't even breathe in it.

Now, it was as if the world had taken a deep breath and held it. The snow hung in the air, frozen in mid-fall, creating an almost dreamlike scene in the middle of the hill.

He felt it then—a faint flicker of chakra in the distance, just at the edge of his senses. It was faint, almost untraceable, but unmistakably there.

"What the..." he muttered, his voice barely audible in the strange, frozen silence.

There, in the center of the clearing, stood a figure—a girl, her long, white hair swaying gently in the breeze. She was slender but radiated an unsettling strength with a white mask. But what caught Kakashi's attention immediately was the limp figure she carried in her arms.

Naruto.

Unconscious, his head resting against the crook of her neck, arms dangling lifelessly. She held him in a bridal carry as if he weighed nothing. Her arms cradled him gently, almost too gently, considering she was an enemy.

*A kunoichi?.*

Her pale face was calm, her brown eyes gazing down at Naruto with an expression that could have been mistaken for affection. But there was something wrong about the way she stood there—something sinister beneath that serene mask.

Kakashi's visible eyenarrowed, his body tensing.

His mind raced as he processed the scene. Naruto was alive, at least for now, but unconscious. The question was: why? Why hadn't she killed him? Why was she carrying him like that? He had encountered many enemies, but this… this was different.

The girl slowly looked up, meeting Kakashi's gaze.

"Ah, Kakashi Hatake," she said, just a whisper.

Kakashi's hand twitched toward his kunai pouch, his instincts screaming at him to act. But he knew better than to rush in blindly. Naruto was in her grasp—one wrong move, and she could harm him before he could react.

He needed to approach this carefully.

"Please, just let him go."

Surprisingly, she turned around as she approached the graves, her steps slow and deliberate, and the wind picked up, rustling the nearby trees. The girl paused before the freshly dug mounds, her eyes narrowing slightly as she looked at them.

With care, she kneeled beside the graves, her movements almost reverent, and gently laid the boy on the ground between them.

His body settled softly onto the grass, his head resting just inches from the cold snow that covered the graves.

*She knows two of them?*

*Revenge?*

In that split second, Kakashi's heart raced. His body, suddenly worn out and drained of chakra, struggled to react. The enemy was already behind him, the tip of her senbon glinting in the low light as it came down toward Kakashi's exposed back.

Too fast.

Kakashi's instincts screamed at him, the danger flooding his senses like a wave of ice. His muscles tensed, and he twisted his body just as the senbon punctured through the air, barely managing to throw himself sideways.

*My chakra has been draining. But how?*

Kakashi knew he had just barely survived.

Author notes Kakashi doesn't recognize her voice because Hollow can change their voice when wearing the mask.
