What Really Happened with Scandal Savage?
A Batman: Gotham War tale
It wasn't THAT hard for Batman to track them down. She had apparently gone legit, and was working as a realtor in the coastal town. He arrived later in the evening, strode up to the front door and knocked.
"Hello, I..." the redhead answered, then froze at seeing BATMAN at her door.
"Afternoon," Batman smiled faintly.
"SCANDAL! KNOCKOUT!" she screamed, backpedaling.
Scandal Savage burst from one room, a pistol in hand, while the amazonian Knockout came in from the other room, radiating menace.
"I'm here to talk," Batman said mildly.
"Why you...," Knockout started.
"Hold it," Scandal put a hand on the tall wonan's arm. "Beloved, if he meant to fight he wouldn't have come in the front door."
"And he could just call in the Justice League," Liana added wryly.
"My standing here on your porch is probably getting attention," Batman noted mildly.
"Come in, come in," Liana waved him inside. "Uhm.. coffee? Tea?"
"I'm fine," Batman said. He looked at Scandal, "Have you been to Gotham recently?"
"No," Scandal shook her head, "After that last gig Bane organized, we decided to go straight. Knockout and I did a mission with the Squad, got out and reunited with Liana. We've been out here ever since."
Batman knew 'the Squad' was referring to the Suicide Squad. A government program, they used supervillains for missions, in return for lessened sentences. He disapproved of it, but...
"Yes, Scandal is the top realtor in the region," Liana added proudly.
"Why do you ask?" Knockout demanded of Batman, ignoring that.
Batman removed a photo from his untility belt, "This woman, Marquise, was aiding Catwoman recently. She claimed to be Scandal Savage, and was working for your father."
"I would never willingly work with Vandal," Scandal noted. She frowned, "I think..."
"Isn't that your cousin, Ethel?" Liana mused. "She cut her hair, obviously."
"Ethel?" Batman blinked.
"Not all of us got lucky in the name department," Knockout noted.
"While most of Vandal's kids hate him," Scandal admitted, "there are a few who crave his approval. Especially if they got something out of it."
"Vandal was offering his minions immortality," Batman noted.
"That would do it," Scandal agreed.
Batman got up, saying, "Thank you for your time."
"That's it?" Liana blinked.
"It was a loose end, I wanted it tied off," Batman moved to the door. "Scandal and Knockout haven't broken the law since they were freed."
All three women sighed in relief.
"Glad he didn't know about your OnlyFans," Liana noted to Knockout.
"LIANA," Scandal groaned as Batman just ignored that and left.

Notes: At the end of Secret Six, Scandal Savage proposes to her two girlfriends, Liana and Knockout. In the NU52 it's not really referenced, but recently Scandal popped up on Gotham War, no wives present AND working for Vandal Savage. Whom she HATES. So... this.
