It has been 10 long years since Peter Parker became Spider-Man, and one year since he came across his mysterious new black suit. Foes new and old still add a dash of chaos to his career. Peter must deal with these threats while also working as a science teacher at Midtown High and spending quality time with his supportive wife Mary Jane. He also mentors a troubled young man.

After stopping a routine mugging, Peter Parker runs into a familiar face suddenly falling out of the sky. However, this familiar face is someone who he thought he'd never see again.
