Ula'ula Meadow and Route 17
The group have just left Route 16 and have just arrived at Ula'ula Meadow. Sarah and Jimmy looked in awe at all the red flowers.
"Look at all these flowers!" said Jimmy.
"They're so pretty." said Sarah.
"These flowers have nothing on you, Sarah." said Maxiley, making Sarah smile.
"Come on, guys; we have to get to Team Skull and save those Pokemon from those jerks." said Eddy; Sarah and Jimmy nod in response. They walked across the wooden bridge that went across the entire meadow; as they did, Jimmy sees a red, bird-like Pokemon with a black trim standing in the meadow.
"What's that Pokemon?" asked Jimmy, pointing at the Pokemon. Edd takes out the Rotom Pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Oricorio, the Dancing Pokemon. This Oricorio has drunk red nectar. If its Trainer gives the wrong order, this passionate Pokémon becomes fiercely angry." said the Rotom Pokedex.
"According to this, that Oricorio is part flying, part fire." said Edd. "There are four kinds of Oricorios, each on a different island in the Alola region; one that's part ghost, another that's part electric, and another that is part psychic; I guess we didn't see them on Melemele Island or Akala Island."
"I'll catch this one quickly, then we can get Team Skull." said Jimmy, pulling out a pokeball. "Lycanroc, go!" He throws Lycanroc's pokeball and releases him; the Oricorio looks at Lycanroc and faces him. "Lycanroc, Accelerock!" Lycanroc becomes surrounded by a white aura and charges at Oricorio, ramming into it, and dealing super effective damage to it. Jimmy pulls out an empty pokeball and throws it at Oricorio, hitting it, and sucking it in; it wiggled around a few times before it clicks, indicating a successful capture. "I caught an Oricorio!" Oricorio's pokeball vanishes and is transported to storage. Edd looks up Jimmy's new Oricorio's information.
"This says your Oricorio's a female, she knows Pound, Growl, Peck, Helping Hand, Air Cutter, Baton Pass, Feather Dance, Double Slap, Teeter Dance, Roost, and Captivate." said Edd. "She has the Dancer ability which makes it that when another Pokemon uses a dance move, Oricorio can use one following it." Jimmy returns Lycanroc to his pokeball and the group continued walking up the bridge until they reached the end of it; they exited Ula'ula Meadow and found themselves in Route 17. Edd looks and sees a town surrounded by tall walls in the distance.
"That must be Po Town." said Edd, pointing at the town.
"Look!" said Ed, pointing down the path that led to Po Town; everyone else looked to see several Team Skull members standing next to different parts of the path.
"You think they're lookouts or something?" asked Maxiley.
"Who cares; if they want to battle us, we'll give them battles." said Eddy. "Come on." As the group walked down Po Town, a Team Skull member walks over to them.
"If you guys are thinking of going to Po Town, then I think you should go somewhere else." said the Team Skull member.
"Hey; we have business to take care of in Po Town!" exclaimed Eddy.
"I guess I'll have to convince you to turn around the hard way." said the Team Skull member, pulling out a pokeball. "Golbat, go!" He throws the pokeball and releases a Golbat. Eddy pulls out a pokeball.
"Vikavolt, let's do this, pal!" said Eddy before releasing his Vikavolt.
"Golbat, use Air Cutter!" said the Team Skull member. The Golbat flaps its wings, sending a barrage of wind blades at Vikavolt, damaging him.
"Oh yeah?!" replied Eddy. "Vikavolt, use Spark!" Vikavolt coats his body in electricity and rams into the Golbat, doing super effective damage; it suddenly starts to twitch uncontrollably.
"I do believe it's paralyzed, Eddy." said Edd.
"Okay, time to end this with Thunderbolt!" said Eddy. Vikavolt releases a large jolt of electricity from between his mandibles and it hits the Golbat, doing enough super effective damage to knock it out.
"NOOO!" shouts the Team Skull grunt. "I guess that's what I get for trying to take on the Lily of the Valley Conference champion."
"You know it!" said Eddy. After the Team Skull grunt tosses Eddy pokedollars, he slinks away.
"Good work, Eddy." said Maxiley.
"Let's keep going!" said Eddy. A minute later, Sarah was facing another member of Team Skull.
"I'll have you crying home to Mommy real soon, squirt." said the Team Skull member, pulling out a pokeball and throwing it, releasing a Mareanie.
"You'll be the one crying!" said Sarah. "Go, Jolteon!" She throws Jolteon's pokeball and releases her.
"Mareanie, Toxic!" said the Team Skull member. Mareanie fires a stream of purple liquid from its mouth, and it hits Jolteon; it turned purple under Jolteon's eyes.
"Jolteon's poisoned!" said Edd.
"Don't give up, Jolteon!" said Sarah. Jolteon lets out a yell and the poison is expelled from her body.
"No way!" exclaimed the Team Skull member.
"Yes way; Jolteon, Discharge!" said Sarah. Jolteon releases multiple bolts of electricity from her body, and it hits Mareanie, dealing super effective damage and knocking it out. "Way to go, Jolteon."
"Beaten by a little kid; the gang's not going to let me live this down." muttered the Team Skull member, returning Mareanie to its pokeball and tossing pokedollars at Sarah. The group continued walking down the pathuntil another Team Skull member approached them, Jimmy steps forward.
"I'll take this one." said Jimmy. The Team Skull member pulls out a pokeball and throws it, releasing a Salandit; and Jimmy takes out a pokeball and throws it, releasing his Raichu. "Okay, Raichu, use Psychic!" Raichu's eyes glow blue, making a similar-colored aura appear around the Salandit; it begins floating into the air and is then sent crashing into the ground where it loses consciousness.
"Come on!" shouts the Team Skull grunt. "How can I lose to a kid?"
"Either Jimmy's that good, or you're just that weak." said Maxiley. The Team Skull grunt growls before tossing Jimmy pokedollars. Moments later, Ed and another member of Team Skull were facing each other while holding pokeballs.
"Raticate, go!" said the Team Skull member, throwing a pokeball and releasing a Raticate.
"Let's go, Ampharos!" said Ed, throwing Ampharos' pokeball and releasing her. "Use Thunder Wave!" Ampharos releases thin streams of electricity from her body, and they hit Raticate, paralyzing it.
"Raticate, use Super Fang!" said the Team Skull member. Unfortunately, paralysis stops Raticate from attacking.
"Ampharos, use Electro Ball!" said Ed. Ampharos forms a ball of electricity on the ends of her arms, and she launches it at Raticate, hitting it, and knocking it out.
"NO!" exclaimed the Team Skull member.
"Great job, Ampharos." said Ed. The Team Skull member drops to his knees and returns Raticate to its pokeball.
"Challenging one of the Eds; what was I thinking?" asked the Team Skull member.
"Maybe you should leave the thinking to the professionals." said Eddy. The Team Skull member growls and tosses pokedollars at Ed before walking away. Another member walks over to the group and pulls out a pokeball.
"Which of you do I get to crush?" asked the Team Skull member.
"I'm afraid it is you who is going to be crushed." said Edd as he steps forward and pulls out a pokeball. The Team Skull member throws his pokeball, releasing a Haunter; Edd throws his, releasing his Toucannon.
"Haunter, use Shadow Ball!" said the Team Skull member. The Haunter forms a ball of dark energy between its hands and launches it at Toucannon, but the attack goes right through him.
"You should've studied more; otherwise you'd know that ghost type moves won't have any effect on normal types, and my Toucannon is part one." said Edd.
"What?!" the Team Skull member replied.
"Toucannon, please use Pluck!" said Edd. Toucannon flies at the Haunter and jams his beak into it.
"Haunter, use Sucker Punch!" said the Team Skull member. Haunter rams a fist coated in dark energy into Toucannon's stomach.
"Toucannon, please use Drill Peck!" said Edd. Toucannon spirals towards the Haunter and drives his beak into it, doing enough damage to knock it out.
"Oh, come on!" shouts the Team Skull member. He then returns his Haunter to its pokeball, tosses Edd pokedollars, and runs off somewhere. After Edd returns his Toucannon to his pokeball, the group continues down the path; they soon came across another member of Team Skull.
"It appears this is last member of Team Skull on this path." said Edd. Maxiley stepped forward.
"I got this one." said Maxiley.
'At least I'm not taking on one of the Eds.' the Team Skull member thinks to himself while pulling out a pokeball. "Drowzee, go!" He throws the pokeball, releasing a Drowee; Maxiley pulls out a pokeball.
"Pupitar, go!" said Maxiley, throwing Pupitar's pokeball and releasing him.
"Drowzee, Psybeam!" said the Team Skull member. Drowzee holds out its hands and fires a multicolored beam of energy out of it and it hits Pupitar.
"Payback!" said Maxiley. Pupitar releases streams of black energy from his body and they hit Drowzee, dealing super effective damage, and knocking it out.
"Oh man!" exclaimed the Team Skull member.
"Great job, Pupitar!" cheered Maxiley. The Team Skull member returned Drowzee to its pokeball; he throws pokedollars at Maxiley and drops to his knees with his head down. After Maxiley pockets the pokedollars and returned Pupitar to his pokeball; the group looked at the entrance to Po Town.
"You guys ready for this?" asked Eddy.
"Yes, Eddy." said Ed.
"I am prepared as well." said Edd.
"So are we!" said Sarah. Jimmy and Maxiley nod in response.
"Let's go then." said Eddy.
The group have made it to Po Town. Will they be able to rescue the Pokemon stolen by Team Skull? Find out as their Alola adventure continues.
