Returning to the PokePelago
After rescuing Yungoos from Team Skull, the group was currently walking through Route 15 on their way to the Aether House to return Yungoos.
"Can't wait to return Yungoos to the Aether House so we can take on the Grand Trial." said Eddy.
"Yeah." said Ed. As the group continued to travel, they see a pink, hippo-like Pokemon with a lizard tail walking out of tall grass.
"What is this?" asked Edd as he takes out the Rotom Pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Slowpoke, the Dopey Pokemon. Although their tails, which fall off naturally, can easily be found lying around, they're a precious ingredient for cooking." said the Rotom Pokedex. Maxiley steps forward while pulling out a pokeball.
"I got this one." said Maxiley. "Trevenant, go!" He throws Trevenant's pokeball and releases her. "Okay, Trevenant, use Shadow Claw!" Trevenant's arm becomes surrounded by a black aura with a purple outline; she slashes Slowpoke with it, dealing super effective damage to it.
"You go, Maxie!" cheered Sarah. Slowpoke dives headfirst towards Trevenant, but it went right through her.
"Slowpoke must've tried to use a normal type move; those don't work against ghost Pokemon." said Edd.
"Trevenant, use your Tackle!" said Maxiley. Trevenant charges at Slowpoke and rams it, knocking it to the ground. As it struggled to get up, Maxiley pull out an empty pokeball and throws it at Slowpoke, hitting it, and sucking it in; after it wiggled around a few times, it clicks. "Yes! Slowpoke is mine!"
"Way to go, Maxie!" cheered Sarah. Slowpoke's pokeball vanishes; Edd uses the Rotom Pokedex to look up Slowpoke's information.
"This says Slowpoke's a boy, he knows Curse, Yawn, Tackle, Growl, Water Gun, Confusion, Disable, Headbutt, Water Pulse, and Zen Headbutt." said Edd. "He has the Oblivious ability which prevents him from being under the attract status or being taunted." After Maxiley returns Trevenant to her pokeball, the group continued to walk through Route 15.
Later at the Aether House, the children were petting Yungoos after the group returned from Po Town and getting it back from Team Skull.
"Thank you all so much for bringing Yungoos back here." said Lillie.
"It was no trouble, Lillie." replied Edd.
"So, what are you all going to do now?" asked Lillie.
"I believe we'll be going back to Malie City so we can take on the island Kahuna for our Grand Trials." replied Edd.
"I hope you all pass them." said Lillie.
"Let's get going then." said Eddy. The group exits the Aether House and begin the trek all the way back to Malie City.
"What do you all think the next Island Kahuna's Pokemon are like?" asked Maxiley.
"We'll find out when we battle him or her." replied Sarah. As they all walk towards their destination, a thought enters Edd's head.
"Everyone, we haven't visited the Poke Pelago since we first saw it." said Edd.
"Oh yeah." said Jimmy.
"I guess we've been so busy doing our Island Challenge we haven't thought to head back there." said Eddy.
"We should go there and see what we can do with the extra Pokemon we all have." said Edd.
"I'll bet it'll be a lot more fun for them than just sitting in storage." said Jimmy.
"Yeah!" said Ed. "I don't want my Pokemon friends to be bored."
"Then, let's get going." said Eddy as he and the others take out their Ride Pagers and call for some Charizards to fly them over to the Poke Pelago.
When they arrive, they head for Mohn's raft hut to say Alola.
"How have you all been?" Mohn asked them.
"We're doing quite well for ourselves." said Edd.
"Haven't seen you around since your first visit." said Mohn.
"We've been busy with the Alola League." said Jimmy.
"Enjoy your visit here for today." said Mohn. The group heads for the Isle Abeens where the group sees all the Pokemon they had in storage all playing.
"This does seem like a nicer place for our extra Pokemon to be than in storage." said Edd.
"I'm glad our Pokemon are happy." said Ed. He then shakes the large beanstalk there to make Poke Beans fall from it. Once they collect them, and give some to their Pokemon, they all head over to Isle Aphun.
"Didn't Mohn say that our Pokemon can find some valuable stuff in this mine?" asked Eddy.
"I believe so." said Edd.
"Then what are we waiting for?" asked Eddy. The group have some of their Pokemon come over, leave some Poke Beans for them as a snack, and continue to look around some more.
They then arrive at the Isle Avue and decide to let the Pokemon they had with them have a soak in the hot springs.
"Our Pokemon deserve an opportunity to relax after the battles we had with Team Skull." said Edd.
"Yeah, Double-D." said Ed. After their Pokemon were done relaxing, they head back to Tapu Village to have their Pokemon treated at the Pokemon Center, as well as have some dinner.
"We should head back to the Poke Pelago to see if our Pokemon found anything in the mine." said Edd.
"I hope they found some valuable stuff." said Eddy.
"We'll head back tomorrow and find out." said Edd.
"Okay." said Ed.
"And after that, we'll head back to Malie City to take on the Island Kahuna." said Edd.
"We'll do our best to pass our Grand Trials." said Sarah.
"Yeah." said Jimmy.
Meanwhile, in what appeared to be a desert, Makoa was walking through it.
"Where is it?" asked Makoa. "I've heard rumors about it being here." After he continued walking, he comes across a pedestal that had a pink Z-Crystal on it. "That must be the Psychium-Z!" He runs to the pedestal and takes out the Z-Crystal. "Now all I have to do is get my hands on one of those Z-Rings and I'll be ready for the Mask Royal's tournament."
Moments later, Makoa was exiting the desert; as he does while looking at his Psychium-Z, a Pokemon that resembled a bull with a bulky black body with thick arms with golden hooves at the end of them, a red shell with white and yellow markings on top of it, red rings around his shoulders, and a golden ring on its snout floats down in front of Makoa.
"What are you?" asked Makoa. The Pokemon doesn't answer; instead, it holds out a light gray sparkling stone out to him with its hooves. Makoa slowly reaches for it and takes it with his free hand; he looks at it, then looks up to see the Pokemon gone; he looks around. "Hey, where did that Pokemon go?"
"Well, I'll be; Tapu Bulu gave you a Sparkling Stone." Makoa hears someone say to him. He looks to see a man with gray hair, wearing a burgundy shirt under a black jacket with two yellow emblems on the sides of it, black pants, sandals, and a necklace that held a black Z-Crystal walking over to him.
"Tapu Bulu; was that what that was?" asked Makoa.
"Yes; the deity of Ula'ula Island." replied the man.
"Who are you?" asked Makoa.
"My name is Nanu; I am the kahuna of Ula'ula Island." replied the man, now identified as Nanu. "Say, are you doing the Junior's Division of the Alola League?"
"No; I'm training for the Mask Royal's tournament." replied Makoa with a scoff.
"Do you have a way to turn that Sparkling Stone into a Z-Ring?" asked Nanu.
"Not really." replied Makoa.
"I'll tell you what; tomorrow morning, meet me at the pier at Malie City and you and I will have a three-on-three Pokemon battle." said Nanu. "If you beat me, I will turn your Sparkling Stone into a Z-Ring." Makoa looks at the Sparkling Stone and the Psychium-Z in his hands.
"Okay, I accept your offer." said Makoa. Nanu nods and walks away. Makoa looks up at the night sky. "Once I get my Sparkling Stone made into a Z-Ring, I will dominate everyone at the tournament, especially you, Maxiley."
