Welcome to the Crimson Mirelands
In Jubilife Village, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Jr, Lincoln, Lana, and Lisa were heading for the east gate to start making their way to the Crimson Mirelands.
"Did we pack what we needed?" asked Luna.
"We got plenty of food for the journey." said Lisa.
"And Lola and I made a lot of Super Potions and Great Balls." said Lana.
"All right then; who's ready to go?" Lincoln asked his sisters
"We are!" the sisters who were going with him replied before Lynn remembered something.
"I'll catch up with you." said Lynn. "I have to grab something real quick."
"Just hurry; we don't want to delay our departure and lose an opportunity to see new species of Pokemon." said Lisa.
"Yeah, sure." said Lynn before she runs off while the rest of the siblings who were going to the Crimson Mirelands went on ahead. Lynn goes into the house that Leni, Luan, and Lincoln were sharing and grabs the paintings that her brother made yesterday.
"What are you doing here?" Lucy asked from behind Lynn, startling her.
"How do you keep doing that?!" Lynn asked her sister.
"I wish I remembered." said Lucy in a more melancholy than usual tone of voice.
"Sorry." said Lynn. "I'm just grabbing Lincoln's newest paintings about him, that Clover girl who likes him, and her and bro's dream daughter."
"Why?" asked Lucy.
"If we run into her, along with the other Miss Fortune Bandits, she'd really want to see them." said Lynn.
"I'm sure she will." said Lucy.
"So when are you gonna look for more of those wisp things?" Lynn asked her sister.
"I'll wait for nightfall." Lucy replied. "They're easier to spot in the dark."
"Yeah, that works out for you in more ways than one considering you're more of a night person for some reason." said Lynn.
"Maybe one day I'll remember why." said Lucy.
"Hopefully we'll find more of those weird tablets and get more of our memories back." said Lynn.
"Yeah." said Lucy.
"I gotta go." said Lynn as she puts the paintings she grabbed into some of Lincoln's tube-shaped storage cases before running out the door.
Later, on a path near the border of the Obsidian Fieldlands that led into the Crimson Mirelands; Lincoln and the sisters who were with him were nearing their destination.
"I can't wait to see what kind of Pokemon we find!" said Lincoln with excitement.
"Me, too!" said Lana.
"I am also excited to add more knowledge on the ones we find into our pokedex." said Lisa.
"I hope we find a boy and girl Hippopatas like Anthe asked for." said Leni.
"We'll keep our eyes open for some." said Lincoln.
"And don't forget we have to look into that Ursaluna that Commander Kamado wants us to study." said Luna.
"Let's go!" said Lincoln.
"Wait for us!" Professor Laventon's voice calls out, making the Loud siblings look to see him, along with Akari, running over to them.
"What are you two doing here?" asked Lynn.
"I also wish to learn more about the Pokemon that inhabit the Crimson Mirelands." said Professor Laventon.
"And I want to help out also." said Akari as she sneaks a glance at Lincoln.
"Where's Rei?" asked Lincoln.
"He's staying in the village to help out your sisters that are still there." said Akari.
"And I can show you where the Construction Corps have set up a campsite for us to use while in the Crimson Mirelands." said Professor Laventon.
"Thank you, professor." said Lisa.
The group continue on down the road until they reach a camp that was set up on a small, hilltop that overlooked a barren area with a few small ponds, some big rocks, and patches of tall, brown grass.
"Here we are." said Professor Laventon. "The Crimson Mirelands."
"Not as nice as the Obsidian Fieldlands." said Luan.
"Well, Captain Cyllene said this area is harsher." said Lincoln.
"So we're supposed to head for the Solaceon Ruins to find Warden Calaba and find out what we can about that Ursaluna." said Luna.
"Yes." said Professor Laventon. "From here, it's northeast across a small river; the ruins are built inside a mountain, so look for an entance leading within."
"Okay, sir." said Leni.
"I wish to study the Pokemon that live in this area." said Lisa.
"How about me, Leni, Luan, and Lynn talk to the warden while you, Lincoln, and Lana work on the pokedex?" suggested Luna.
"Thank you, dear sister." said Lana.
"Let's head out everyone!" said Lincoln.
The Louds start heading towards a mountain side to look for the Solaceon Ruins; they soon come across a small, green, rosebud-like Pokemon with small legs, bouncing around.
"It's so cute!" said Leni. Lisa looks through her notes to identify the Pokemon.
"That is called a Budew." said Lisa.
"I wanna catch it." said Leni.
"Budew is part grass and part poison; I suggest using Espeon." said Lisa. Leni takes out Espeon's pokeball and tosses it, releasing Espeon; the Budew turned towards Espeon.
"Espeon, use Confusion!" said Leni. Espeon's eyes glowed blue and Budew becomes surrounded by a blue glow; it gets lifted up and slammed onto the ground, being dealt super effective damage. The Budew unleashed purple glowing needles from its mouth and they hit Espeon; it turned purple under her eyes.
"I believe Espeon's poisoned." said Lisa. Espeon coughs and loses some stamina.
"Okay, Espeon; let's try that Zen Headbutt move!" said Leni. Espeon's head glowed blue and she charges at Budew; he rams it, dealing super effective damage to it, and knocking it to the ground.
"I think Budew's weak enough for you to capture now, Leni." said Lincoln. Leni takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Budew, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggled a few times until a firework shoots out of it.
"Yay! I caught a Budew!" cheered Leni. Lisa looks through the pokedex.
"I believe your Budew is female; she knows Poison Sting, Absorb, and Poison Powder." said Lisa.
"Let's get going." said Lynn. The group look around the area, while Leni had her Budew battle a few Psyducks they came across as training, until they reach a few logs that made a bridge leading across a small river; on the other side, they see an entrance leading into a mountain.
"Do you think that's the Solaceon Ruins?" asked Luan.
"Professor Laventon did say to look for a way into the mountain." said Lisa.
"And since there aren't any other ways in, that must be the place." said Lynn.
"Lincoln, Lana, and I will go further into the Crimson Mirelands and see what other kinds of Pokemon are in the area." said Lisa.
"Like that one?" asked Lynn as she points at a Pokemon that looked like a venus flytrap.
"What it is?" asked Leni. Lisa searches her notes for the answer to Leni's question.
"That is called a Carnivine." said Lisa.
"I'm gonna catch it!" said Lana as she lets her Mothim out of his pokeball. "Use Silver Wind!" Mothim flaps his wings and releases a blast of wind that had silver powder mixed into it that hits the Carnivine, dealing super effective damage; the Carnivine responds by releasing a spray of purple liquid from its mouth that hits Mothim.
"Don't take that, Mothim!" said Lynn.
"Mothim, use Gust!" said Lana. Mothim flaps his wings, releasing a gust of wind that hits Carnivine and knocks it to the ground.
"Catch it, sis!" said Lynn. Lana takes a Great Ball out of her satchel and throws it at the Carnivine, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball shakes a bit before a firework shoots out from it, indicating a successful capture.
"I caught Carnivine!" said Lana.
"And I believe that it's a girl, she knows Absorb, Acid Spray, Bite, and Stun Spore." said Lisa.
"Thanks." said Lincoln.
"I'm gonna train her and my other Pokemon while we're exploring." said Lana.
"So will I." said Lincoln.
"I believe I would benefit from having my Pokemon become stronger." said Lisa.
"We'll meet back at the camp when it's close to sunset." said Lincoln.
"Okay, bro." said Luna. While Lincoln, Lana, and Lisa headed east towards another part of the Crimson Mirelands, the older siblings enter the Solaceon ruins; inside, they see a hallway leading into a large room where an elderly woman that had a Bibarel next to her, wearing an outfit similar to the one that Lian had on, as well as a basket on her back that had large plants in it.
"Hello?" Luan says to the woman, getting her attention.
"Who are you?" asked the woman.
"Are you Warden Calaba?" asked Luna.
"I am." replied the woman, now identified as Warden Calaba. She notices the Celestica Flute in Luna's hand. "Now would you look at that; you have the Celestica Flute."
"Yeah." replied Luna.
"You must be the ones they say appeared out of nowhere; the Loud siblings are you?" said Warden Cabala.
"That's us." said Leni.
"How can two people have so many children?" asked Warden Cabala.
"Wish we could remember." replied Leni.
"At least we remember our parents now." said Luna.
"I've already heard about you; that you quelled Kleavor in his frenzy." said Warden Cabala.
"Mainly our sister, Lynn, and our brother Lincoln." said Luan.
"I'm sure many people were saved by your actions, but I wonder if there wasn't some other way to handle the situation." said Warden Cabala.
"It doesn't matter." said Luna.
"I suppose; what you did is hardly any different from bullying a Pokemon into submission, after all, and you run around catching Pokemon up in those little balls you carry." said Warden Cabala.
"Our brother, Lincoln never keeps his Pokemon in their pokeballs." said Leni.
"The second he catches them, he lets them out and keeps them out with him." said Luan.
"I wonder if your brother is the same one Irida is going on and on about." said Warden Cabala.
"Yeah, he is." said Luan.
"Even if your brother is good to his Pokemon like Irida says, I don't need help from the rest of your sort, or the Diamond Clan, for that matter." said Warden Cabala. "That young lady, Arezu, offered to help, but associating with the Diamond Clan, it just won't do. Now be off!"
"But we need to know about Ursaluna." said Luan.
"There is much I must do, and I'd prefer not to be distracted any further." said Warden Cabala. She then looks at a wall that had a tablet on it with weird symbols on it; the Loud sisters notice that part of it appeared to be missing.
"What happened to that?" asked Luna, getting Warden Cabala's attention.
"If you must know; yesterday, three bandits infiltrated the ruins and stole part of the wall engravings." said Warden Cabala.
"What are these bandits like?" asked Lynn.
"Why do you ask?" asked Warden Cabala.
"Maybe we can get the engravings back." said Luan.
"Why?" asked Warden Cabala.
"Do you want the part of your wall back or not?" asked Lynn.
"Fine." said Warden Cabala. "The bandits are all female; the oldest one has gray hair, a younger one had black hair with braids..."
"Let me guess; the third one had blue hair and all three had markings on their faces?" asked Luna.
"How did you know?" asked Warden Cabala.
"They're the Miss Fortune Bandits." said Luan.
"We met them before." said Lynn.
"The one with the black hair likes our brother." said Leni with a giggle.
"And they want our pokedex also." said Lynn.
"I do recall how Irdia said the Galaxy Team is making the pokedex to help people learn about Pokemon to bring them closer together." said Warden Cabala.
"We should focus on the Miss Fortune Bandits." said Luna. "Do you know where they might have gone?"
"I think one of the guards said he saw them heading into a small wooded area west of here." said Warden Calaba.
"Let's go check it out." said Luna.
"Yeah!" shouted the rest of the Loud sisters.
Leni, Luna, Luan, and Lynn are about to search for the Miss Fortune Bandits and the missing wall fragment. Will they succeed? Wait and find out.
