Back in Royal Woods
While Lincoln and Clyde are on their way to the Kitakami Region, let's check on things with the Louds back in Royal Woods.
Things have started to settle down after the infamous 'Bad Luck Incident'. People are glaring at the Loud family less and less, especially after they've learned that Lincoln got his parents off with community service; why he was so willing to forgive them for what they did, they'll never understand.
All the Loud sisters friends decided if Lincoln was able to put what his sisters did to him behind him and move on, then so could they.
Lori and Bobby restored their relationship with each other, as did Luna and Sam; Lynn Jr's former coaches let her back on her old teams, mainly because they haven't been winning as many games as they used to since they kicked her off them; and Lucy's friends at the Morticians' Club let her back in.
But what really got the people's attention were the Pokemon that Lincoln sent his family. Everyone was astounded that such creatures existed in the world and not knowing it.
Some people have seen Luna, Lynn Jr, and Lana riding on the Cyclizars that they got from their brother to school; the three often let other people ride them to see what it was like in order help improve their reputations.
Lola was showing off the cute Pokemon to other pageant girls at the studio, such as Pachirisu, Pichu, Deerling, Vivillon, Teddiursa, and Eevee. She would also show off all the pearls that Lincoln would send her, getting people wondering why he would do that for her after what she did to him.
Lucy was showing off the Greavard to other members of the Morticians' Club who were interested in the fact that she drains others of their life force when played with; a fact that they took advantage of.
Lana showed off the Paldean Wooper and Oinkologne to other kids, especially the ones who were interested in the fact that they can create mud out of thin air.
Lisa's science colleagues were very intrigued by the Pokemon she showed to them, they wondered how some were able to produce electrcity, fire, water, and other elements.
When Luan's Funny Business picked back up, she had some of the Pokemon perform some of their moves to the children she was entertaining, much to their delight; they were allowed to pet them which they enjoyed.
Lynn would often practice her boxing with the Crabrawler that Lincoln sent over; so far, she hasn't won one match with her, but she still enjoyed having a strong sparring partner.
Leni's friends were delighted by the cute Pokemon as well; but as they cuddled with them, Leni couldn't help but think about Arven and wondered how he was doing; she showed the image she got of him from a recording of his, Lincoln, and Clyde's battle with the Sky Titan to her friends and they all thought he was good-looking.
Lily was also having fun with the Pokemon that Lincoln sent over, and she was always cuddling with her Tandemaus.
More and more each day, the people got over what the Loud family did to Lincoln and would often not give them a hard time about it. Things were just about back to normal, asides from the Pokemon of course.
Right now, the Loud family was at the dining room table, eating dinner.
"How was everyone's day?" asked Lynn Sr.
"A lot better." said Luan.
"My friends aren't as upset with me as they were a month ago." said Lori.
"Or mine." said Leni.
"I'm just glad to be back on my sports teams again." said Lynn Jr who had an ice pack over her eye.
"Don't you think you're sparring with that Crabrawler a bit too much?" asked Rita.
"Are you kidding me, Mom?" Lynn Jr replied. "Where can I find a sparring partner who really packs a punch and has a thick outer shell that can take one of my hits?"
"But you haven't been able to land a punch yet because she keeps knocking you around before you can." said Luna.
"Exactly." replied Lynn Jr. "She's a worthy opponent." Leni was just looking off into space with a smile and blush on her face.
"You okay, Leni?" asked Luan.
"Thinking about Arven, are we?" asked Lori with a smirk.
"How did you know?" asked Leni.
"You literally wrote 'Leni and Arven' in your mashed potatoes." said Lori, making Leni look at them to see that she did, in fact, do that.
"I wonder how Linky's doing?" asked Leni.
"I'm sure he's doing fine." said Rita.
"Wonder if she called that Iono girl yet?" asked Luan with a smirk.
"Next time he calls us, we should ask him." said Lori with a big smile on her face. "You know, I literally envy Lincoln."
"Yeah; he gets to travel to exotic lands." said Lola.
"Meeting new people, like Arven." said Leni, saying Arven's name in a dreamy tone.
"And Iono." said Luna.
"And he has cool teachers like Ms. Dendra." said Lynn Jr.
"He gets to meet actual ghosts; sigh." said Lucy.
"And he has his own bathroom." said Luan.
"Wiwy miss Wincoln." said Lily.
"We all do, sweetie." said Rita.
"I wish I was there with him." said Lana.
"I wouldn't mind the chance to see haunted ruins." said Lucy.
"I'll bet Leni wouldn't mind the chance to go to Paldea to hang out with Arven there." said Luan. Leni smiles and blushes at the thought.
"What kind of Pokemon do you think Lincoln will find in the Kitakami Region?" wondered Lana.
"Hopefully some cute ones that he'll send us." said Lola. As Luan gets up off the table to put her dishes in the kitchen sink, everyone notices her chair was stuck to her rear.
"Hey!" shouts Luan. "What's going on?!" Lori hears some snickering nearby, making her look to see the Impidimp that Lincoln sent, looking into the dining room while holding a bottle of super glue.
"Does that answer your question?" asked Lori as she points at the mischievous Pokemon.
"Why did you put glue on my seat, Impidimp?!" asked Luan. The Impidimp hands Lori a folded-up piece of paper; she unfolds it and reads it with a smirk growing on her face.
"What's it say, honey?" asked Lynn Sr.
"It says 'Luan: Prepare for payback for years of April Fools' Day pranks, courtesy of Impidimp! Lincoln.'" Lori read, making most of the Louds look at Luan with big grins.
"Darn you, Lincoln!" shouts Luan. After dinner, Lynn Sr's device rings, making him look to see he was getting a video call from Lincoln. He lets the rest of the family know and they all gather in the living room and sit on or stand around the couch, with Luan sitting on the chair that was attached to her; Lisa hooks Lynn Sr's device to the TV and turns it on, showing Lincoln and Clyde sitting in their airplane seats.
"Hey, everyone." said Lincoln.
"Hi, son." said Lynn Sr. Lincoln then notices Luan glaring at him.
"What's wrong, Luan?" Lincoln asked her. Luan answers by standing up with the chair stuck to her, making him grin. "Impidimp got you?"
"Yeah!" said Luan.
"Hey, in Impidimp's defense, you've done way more extreme pranks to us on April Fools' Day." said Lincoln. Luan looks away with a pout and sits back down.
"So, what are you up to now, sweetie?" asked Rita.
"We're on our way to the Kitakami region." replied Lincoln. "Our plane should be arriving tomorrow morning."
"Just be careful while you're there, son." said Lynn Sr.
"So, Lincoln; have you called Iono yet?" asked Lori with a grin on her and her sisters' faces.
"Called her last night." said Lincoln with a blush, making his sisters squeal with delight.
"What did you talk about?" asked Leni.
"We talked about my Kitakami trip, and we plan on collaborating on a video of what I find there." said Lincoln. "She... also met up with me at the airport before I left and started a livestream video."
"Anything else?" asked Lori with excitement.
"She... gave me another kiss on the cheek." said Lincoln with a smile and blush, making his sisters scream with delight.
"Does Nemona know about Iono kissing you?" asked Luan with a smirk.
"Yeah." said Lincoln as he looks away. "She did seem a... little upset about it." His sisters giggle at that fact.
"She's probably jealous." said Lola with a smirk.
"My boy's becoming quite the ladies' man." said Lynn Sr with a grin.
"Arven was also at the airport." said Lincoln, which got Leni's attention.
"How was he?" asked Leni.
"So far, he's doing great." said Lincoln. "I also plan on continuing the search for more Herba Mystica when I get back."
"I hope his Mabosstiff gets better." said Leni.
"So do we." said Clyde. "And we'll do everything we can to help him."
"Anything else up with him?" asked Leni. Lincoln got a small grin on his face.
"If it means anything, during lunch with him and our other friends, he asked questions about you." said Lincoln, making the Loud sisters, especially Leni, squeal with delight.
"I really wish I was in Paldea!" said Leni. After a bit more talking, they end the call.
Later that night in the Loud house's bathroom, the girls were brushing their teeth and getting ready for bed.
"Lincoln's doing great in Paldea so far." said Luna.
"How will he do in Kitakami?" asked Lynn Jr.
"He'll do fine." said Lori.
"Do you all think Arven likes me?" asked Leni with hope in her voice.
"Well, Lincoln did say he asked questions about you, so he might be interested." said Lori.
"I hope so." said Leni with a blush on her face. After the Loud sisters got done in the bathroom, they all went to their rooms; as Luan walks enters her bedroom, her foot steps into a snare trap that was in front of the doorway which wraps around her ankle and hoists her up to the ceiling.
"Hey!" shouts Luan. Lincoln's Impidimp comes out from under her bed and snickers at her.
"Just 'hanging' out, Luan?" asked Luna with a smirk.
"Hey! Puns are my thing!" shouts Luan. Impidimp goes over to a small rope that was hanging down from the ceiling and yanks on it; Luan watches as a water balloon and leaky bag of flour that were strung up on it come swinging down towards her, both hitting her at the exact same time, coating her in wet flour.
"Talk about 'flour power'." said Lori before she laughs along with most of her sisters.
"Very funny." Luan sarcastically said. "Now get me down from here!" Before anyone could do so, Impidimp wheels a kiddie pool full of chocolate pudding under her, then goes to the rope that the snare trap was from and uses one of his claws to cut it, dropping Luan into said pudding.
"I guess instead of the proof being in the pudding, you are, Luan!" said Lola with a laugh. Luan growls as she tries climbing out while coated head to toe in flour and chocolate pudding.
"Can this get any worse?" asked Luan. She got her answer when Impidimp took a sack of chicken feathers and dumps them all over her; the feathers stuck to her, covering her from head to her feet. Everyone was laughing hysterically at this point.
"This is... too much!" said Lori as she laughed uncontrollably.
"Do you... really believe that... after all the pranks she did... to us?" asked Lana as she continues to laugh.
"No, not really." said Lori as she wipes a tear from her eye from laughing too much. Luan looks at herself in exasperation.
"Dang it, now I need another shower!" said Luan as she goes back to the bathroom.
"This is going to be fun." said Lola with a grin.
