Enter the Survival Horror Chapter 5

As they were going down, Rebecca takes notice the Bec was trembling again. 'She somehow knows what is going happen next, but she's slowly reaching her breaking point.'

'Having such knowledge.. it is actually scary, to know all this, yet she couldn't say anything in the first place.' Rebecca knew that she wouldn't have believed Bec had she told her all this, when they first met.

'That is the reason why I chose not to ask her if I would see Enrico or the others again.' Rebecca didn't want to think she couldn't see them again.

'Still, she was clearly not mentally prepared for this.' Rebecca then speaks, "Bec, do you want to talk now?"

Bec snaps out of her thought and shakes her head, "I'll be fine..." she said, unconvincingly.

Once the doors open Bec rushes out and Rebecca follows her, both gasp at seeing Billy unconscious and trapped.

"Billy!" Rebecca cries out, distressed they can't reach him.

"Something's in the water!" Bec shouts, holding the railing.

Rebecca sees what Bec is talking about, a shadow moves in the water. "Billy!" they shout together hoping to wake him up.

The shadow moves and knocks Billy from where he was trapped, freeing him and waking him at the same time.

Billy coughs up water and tries to swim but the current is too strong for him and he disappears into darkness once more.

"No! Billy!" Rebecca shouts, but there was nothing they could do.

"Rebecca.." Bec says after a moment passes, "Just so you are aware, we will face the Tyrant again."

"What?!" she asked in alarm.

"It's due to the virus it has, it will regenerate. However, when we see it again, it will be for the last time." Bec said.

".. Why didn't you say something while we were still there?" she wonders why Bec didn't want to finish it off there.

"I think we would have wasted ammo as it was recovering." Bec answers.

They walk across the bridge and enter the control room. "What floor is Billy now on?" Rebecca asks.

"He is three floors below us. We will have monsters in our way, before we get to him." Bec informs her.

"Ugh! Stupid hair." Bec said. Her hair was no longer cooperating in the bun, thus she let's down her hair.

"Are you sure that's wise?" Rebecca asks, looking around finding a gas can.

"I have no choice now, neither of us have a hair bush." Bec said, fingering her hair.

They find ammo in the control aera and Bec goes over to the controls. "I'll turn on the power." she tells Rebecca.

"Are you sure?" she asks.

"Yes, we won't get anywhere without it." Bec said. She hits three buttons and the power comes on, lighting up the place.

Bec then takes out her handgun, "There are three zombies in the next area." she tells Rebecca.

"Understood." she said readying her own handgun.

They get to the lift and go down one floor, getting off and as their running they shoot at the zombies. When they were down they grabbed herbs and a couple of bottles, which then are filled up with gas.

Bec chucks out what gas cans are empty finding one that was still full and putting it away. She grabs a couple of bottles and puts on her bag.

"There's a Mimicry in the room, the one that the leeches form into." Bec said, telling her what the leech monsters are called.

"I'm ready." Rebecca said.

They head in and when the creature turns the corner, Bec throws the bottles at it while Rebecca shoots at it.

When it was gone, Bec speaks, "In the next room we have one zombie, but we will have to come back here later."

"What for?" Rebecca asks as they continue to move.

"There are zombies, an herb, ammo, and a red chemical station, behind this handle less door but the main reason, is that there is a strong piece of evidence on the floor above as well as the generators." Bec explains as they go pass the door.

They enter through the door and take out the lone zombie. Bec finds the last of the wine bottles and fills them with gas and Rebecca grabs the map of the treatment plant.

"Which room is Billy in?" she asks, looking it over.

"The dumping aera. It's where Marcus got rid of his failed experiments." Bec said, putting away the cocktails.

"Is there anything between here and there?" Rebecca asks, putting the map in the bag.

"There are leeches on the stairs connected with the water pool room we need to use and a Lurker right downstairs. The frog, that the report talked about." Bec reminds her of what she said before.

"But that Lurker usual stays in the water unless we get too close to it or we stay too long in the room. It considers the room, it's territory." Bec informs her.

"Ok, we'll leave that room as soon as possible. Anything important?" she asks.

"Yes, but they can wait. We will rescue Billy first." Bec said. They go down the steps and out the door into the water pool room. The leave this room and head down the stairs to reach the door that will take them to the dumping room.

They head in and see Billy on the floor, with his legs still in the water, he must've grabbed the ladder and pulled himself up before losing consciousness again. "Billy!" Rebecca said.

The girls rush over to him, however...

'W-Why isn't he moving?!' Bec thinks alarmed. When Rebecca had approached Billy in the game he started coughing up water, but he didn't even move as the girls got to him.

'Wait, CPR.' Bec quickly moves to resuscitate him, while Rebecca, catching on, presses on Billy's chest.

A moment passes, "Cough!" Billy comes to, coughing up water. Once he was breathing on his own, Rebecca gets off him and they move him into a sitting position.

"Rebecca? Bec? Wh-Where am I?" he asks, sounding confused.

"Your safe now, we'll explain more once you've calmed down." Rebecca said.

Bec then looks towards the dumping aera and gasps in horror, causing the other two to look where she was looking and are appalled themselves.

The farthest corner of the dumping aera, there were skeletons. They had been left there, carelessly and forgotten.

The three of them approach, Rebecca holds her nose, and they look over the corpses.

"What do you think did this?" Rebecca asks.

"If I had to take a guess, they were most likely test subjects of Marcus and his research." Billy said.

"Yes." Bec speaks, causing the two to look at her. "After the school was closed, Marcus remained here. Working with the virus and his leeches, until the day he died."

Billy then gets a far away look in his eyes, remembering the village. "Billy?" Rebecca asks, causing him to snap out of it. "I'm fine.." he said turning to her.

"Billy, you were right about Bec." she said, turning to her.

He follows suit, "Bec.. I think I can speak for both of us. We understand why you didn't tell us that you know how to get around this place and that we know your not Umbrella. But now that we know, you have to tell us what's in store for us." Billy said.

"Are you sure your ready?" Bec asks him.

"Yes. You know the monsters we face and how to get out of here. Just tell us how to get there." he said.

"He's right Bec. We all need to get out of here. After that, you need to tell me how you know all this." Rebecca said determined.

"I understand. Just understand this, I didn't say anything before, was because even now, I'm not sure you'll believe me." Bec said, looking both of them in the eyes.

Silence.

"Let's get a move on." Billy said.

"Ok, the door we have not used in here is locked. We need to go back the way we came, to the water pool room. In there, is ammo and that handle I told you about earlier." Bec tells them.

"Let's go then." he said.

They get to the water pool, avoiding the leeches on the stairs. "We need to get the three wooden crates on that side. Then when it's filled with water, we can get the handle." Bec said, looking over the pool.

"I'll go down and move the crates. Rebecca work the controls." Billy said, going to the ladder.

Bec sighed in relief, she didn't know how to work the exact controls. She grabs the ammo and after a few minutes, Billy gets the wooden crates where they need to be, with Rebecca's help, and climbs out.

Rebecca then turns on the water, the pool fills and the crates rise with the water. Bec goes across the crates and gets the handle.

When she returns to them, she speaks, "There is a card that we need in the next room, but the fork lift needs a battery. So we need to get the door that needs this handle."

"I think with teamwork we can-" Billy tries to protest about moving on without the card but is interrupted by Rebecca.

"There is a creature called a Lurker in that room and it will get territorial if we dally too long or get close to it. We shouldn't use ammo unless we have to and we still have to protect Bec." she said, reminding him that Bec was a civilian.

"A Lurker?" he asks, letting it go.

"The amphibian that was talked about in Marcus notes. The green skinned creatures, Bec called those Hunters." she explains.

"Ok, let's go." he said.

They get to the rec room, when Bec stops. "There are three zombies in the hall and in the generator rooms, there is seven. Six as soon as we enter the door, while one is on the floor above." she said, readying her gun.

"Understood." Rebecca said.

They enter the hall, Rebecca and Billy take care of the zombies that get too close and Bec puts the handle on the door and opens it.

They head in and dispatch zombies, Bec shoots at the one playing dead and they grab more handgun ammo.

".. Say Bec.. These zombies were.. a little different from the others." Rebecca points out.

"Hard to say. They could have been an Umbrella unit that had gotten trapped down here for a while, or some campers or hikers that have gone missing the past ten years. I have no answer as to why they look like they do." Bec said.

They go up the ladder, getting rid of the zombie and gathering the herb and report.

Investigator's Report 2

We should have finished with this dump long ago. When all this started, did anyone expect that there would be guns blazing away like this?

We weren't told a thing about these creatures attacking us at the briefing...

Guess they were a surprise to the head honchos too. The things in the woods - just starting to attack people. That had to be planned. Someone deliberately scattered that virus, no doubt about it.

But the guards, our fellow soldiers, they still must be around...

Well, whatever.

Don't have to worry about that anymore.

What I've got to worry about is whether to use my last bullet on myself, or on a friend...

That's the only decision I have to make.

"Seems like, they didn't even try to look things over before they decided to reuse this place." Billy said, it felt a little too close to home for his liking.

"No. Once Marcus was out of the picture, they let this place rot." Bec said.

".. Marcus didn't die of natural causes, did he?" Rebecca asks.

"No, he was assassinated." Bec says without emotion. Billy and Rebecca follow Bec, going down the ladder, they were thinking over her words.

When they reach the door that would take them out of the generator room, Bec stops and takes off her back pack. "Billy ready your shotgun, there's two hunters behind this door." she said, bringing out her shotgun.

Billy arms himself with his, "Let's get them." he said.

They open the door and blow away the hunters, making bridge useable. They get across to the other door and head, to find bunks with a corpse on one.

"Clearly they used this place to sleep. Let's grab everything." Billy said.

Rebecca grabbed the healing items, while Billy got the ammo and Bec grabbed a piece of paper. She shows it to them.

Battery Fluid

The fluid used in batteries is a diluted solution of mixed water and sulfuric acid.

Both must be of a high purity.

When fully charged, battery fluid should have a specific gravity of 1.2800.010 at 20C.

Battery Acid Purity

Take care that the dilute sulfuric acid solution is of a sufficient purity.

"I take it we need battery fluid?" Billy asks, once he was done reading it.

"Yes. For the battery needed to operate the forklift is empty." Bec said, putting away the paper.

Rebecca puts the herbs in the bag, "I still got the red chemical. The path were on should lead to a blue one?" she asks, but it was more of a statement.

"Yes, but it will take us a moment to get there, the only blue chemical station is behind that locked door in the dumping area. In the next room, there are stairs and leeches.

Then in the next hall there is a Lurker, who may or may not jump out at us. Lastly in the cargo control room, there are three zombies, ammo, a paper and an elevator." Bec informs them.

"All right." Billy says, after putting the ammo in the bag, "We need to get going." he finishes.

As they were getting ready, they fail to notice the corpse getting up. Bec's back was to it, Billy and Rebecca were going through the backpack to see what they need.

Bec feels something pull on her shirt and jumps away screaming, crashing into Rebecca. Billy jumps up and shoots at the zombies head, taking care of it.

"Hey, are two-" Billy turns to them, stopping.

He sees Bec buried in Rebecca chest, Rebecca has an embarrassed blush on her face, but what catches Billy's attention was that.. he quickly looks away, before Bec catches him looking at her panties.

"Bec?" Rebecca asks touching her head.

"It's ok, Billy got rid of the zombie." she said, in a comforting tone.

Bec then gets off her, "Sorry, Rebecca." she said, standing up.

"It's fine," Rebecca said getting up.

Billy turn back once he hears the girls talk, "Let's finish getting what we need." he said. They get back to the backpack.

When they all were ready, they go to the door and head downstairs, steeping on leeches. They get onto the walkway and quickly make their way to the cargo area.

Once they get inside, they take of the zombies and Bec grabs the diary page.

5/10 Damn it! Why is normal industrial waste being delivered here? This is an Umbrella Corporation facility. We can't deal with this volume of material. Plus they're sending us contaminated materials that we can't process. What are we supposed to do with it?

7/24 Well, looks like they're closing it down. Not surprising, using it like they did.
Had to be done, but... it was pretty sudden. It's not like they cared until now. Anyway, as long as I get out of here, I don't care what they do.

When it was read, Bec puts it away. "Talk about lazy people. They didn't bother to find out why they were closing it. If they did maybe things would've different." Rebecca said.

".. This is something that sadly came about, but don't wish things were different." Bec said, fixing her bag.

"That reason being, if the Cerberus dogs didn't attack the wagon that was carrying Billy, he would've been taken to the base and have been executed." Bec said, putting the backpack back on.

".. You sound like your sure that would've happened." Billy said, keeping the ammo he found.

"You know as well as I that is exactly what would've happened." Bec said, seriously.

".. Bec's right Billy. I never would've known you and your innocence if the dogs never attacked." Rebecca said.

Billy is silent for a moment. ".. What happens after we take this lift, Bec?" he asks.

"We need the motherboard to operate the machine over there." Bec said, pointing to the gondola.

"It is actually below us, however the lift will take us below that floor, the water treatment room. There, is where we will encounter big trouble. The trouble you and I went through in the factory Rebecca." Bec said, bringing out weapons.

"The Tyrant." Rebecca remembers Bec mentioning that they would encounter it again.

"Tyrant?" Billy asks.

Rebecca tells Billy about the Tyrant. "We will have to very careful. We won't have much room down there." he said, taking the magnum Bec offers.

Bec offers the other magnum to Rebecca, but she takes the grenade launcher instead. "You handle that better then me. Let's get moving." she said, making sure she had acid rounds.

When they were ready, they get on the elevator and go down. They get off, once they reach the floor and make their way around, but the Tyrant does not emerge from the water.

"If it doesn't get out now, it will once we come back this way." Bec said, pressing the button to bring down the ladder.

They go up the ladder get the mother board, heading back down because there is nothing else. As they approach the door leading to the dam, the tyrant comes out of the water.

Billy looks at it in horrified awe as it goes to it's full height. Bec shoots at it as it goes on the attack, making Billy snap out of it. He and Rebecca also fire at it, while dodging the attacks.

It was a little easier compared the fight in the factory, but the creature still got a couple of hits in on the three of them. Then after one shot from Billy, hitting it's heart, it goes down.

Rebecca treats Billy, while Bec treats herself, her injury was not as bad as the last time.

"Are you sure it won't come after us again?" Rebecca asks.

"No, it won't." Bec said firmly. 'It won't survive the explosion.' Bec knew it was done, since it was the prototype.

They get back on the lift and head back up to the transport room. Rebecca connects the motherboard to the machine and the power is restored.

They hear the gondola move. After a couple minutes a small gondola arrives but when they open it, there was nothing inside.

Both Rebecca and Billy look at Bec in confusion.

"All the doors leading to the lower west side are all locked and the keys are gone. There is only one way to the west side right now." Bec said.

"One of us needs to get inside this and ride it there." Rebecca said, now understanding.

Billy looks it over, "I'm too big to fit in this, but one of you can fit." he said.

"Then I'll go." Rebecca said.

"I can-" Bec says, but is interrupted.

"Bec, you may know what will happen, but you are still a civilian. Your safety is still a priority. Just tell me what I'll come across." Rebecca said.

"You won't have any trouble in the room you will arrive in, there will be acid grenades in there. In the next room, there is the blue chemical station. The room we couldn't get into in the dumping area. It also has industrial water and a plague crawler, those large insects we've encountered before." Bec said.

"Bec, would be safe to meet up with Rebecca in the lab?" Billy asks.

"In some rooms we've been through, zombies have taken over. However the room, that you'll arrive in, Rebecca, can control the flood gates. I think you should use them to give me and Billy a way to cross the dam." Bec said.

"What's across the dam?" Rebecca asks.

"The engine room. It will have two zombies and ammo in it. However, we'll need to unlock the door from the engine room, for us to reunite." Bec said.

"Ok, I'll radio you two, once I open the dam. Billy, take care of her." Rebecca turns to get in the gondola, when Bec touches her shoulder, making pause and turn to back at her again.

".. There might be two plague crawlers, in the lower part of the lab. If so, be careful." Bec said.

"Thanks." Rebecca get in the gondola and Billy sends her to the control room for the flood gates.

"Now, we wait." Billy said. Bec is silent.

When the gondola stops, Rebecca gets out and looks around. She grabs the grenade shells and looks over the controls, finding the ones needed to open the dam,

She turns the wheel and the dam opens, removing water and revealing a path. She radios her friends, "Hey, I got the dam to open, stay safe. Over." she tells them.

"Understood. Over." Billy said. They disconnect and Rebecca goes got to the door to the lab, for the stairs were destroyed.

Inside the lab, she uses the grenade launcher to get rid of the plague crawler and looks around. She finds the industrial water and blue chemical, she mixes the red and chemicals, to make sulfuric acid. She then unlocks the door to the dumping room.

'We have to go back this way.' Rebecca remembers Bec mentioning a card on the next floor that they will need.

She then heads downstairs, slowly but does not see any crawlers. This confuses her a bit, until she sees them inside the tubes.

She sees the battery they need, but she was too short and there was no ladder in this room. She then knocks on the door and it unlocks..

While Rebecca had been going over the lab, Billy puts away his radio and turns to Bec to see her trembling. "Bec?" he calls gently.

Bec stops trembling and looks at him, "Did Rebecca open the dam?" she ask, steadily.

"Yeah.. Do you want to talk?" he asks.

"No, let's go." she said hurriedly.

Billy and Bec take the lift down and had made their way pass the door to the dam.

"Careful, there is a Lurker in here." Bec said as they continue to the walkway.

"Yeah, but these ones seem to be well behaved." he said. Bec grabs the herb before she goes down the ladder, with Billy following her.

"Still, let's not over extend ourselves." Bec said.

Billy climbs the next ladder, followed by Bec and they head in the engine room. They get rid of the zombies and find the ammo. A knock is heard. Bec then unlocks the door. It opens to reveal Rebecca.

"I'm glad to see you two. I found the battery, but I need a boost.. Bec, the crawlers in this part, are still in their containers." Rebecca said, looking at her.

"That will change then once we get the battery." Bec said, she makes the green herb she had into powder.

"Ok, I'll give Bec a boost then, Rebecca be prepared." Billy said.

"Right." she had her grenade launcher.

They all head in the lab and Billy gives Bec a boost, so she can grab the battery. She grabs it and hops down with one hand holding down her skirt.

The crawlers burst out of the containers, Rebecca and Billy, once Bec was out of the way, get rid of them.

With the threat gone, Rebecca mixes the acid and industrial water together, then adds the fluid to the battery. The battery was now working.

"Now we can get that card. Let's go back to the maintenance room." Bec said.

They take the west side up, going through the dumping room, to reach the maintenance room. Rebecca connects the battery to the fork lift and turns it on.

Bec gets on the crate and Rebecca presses the button that has the lift go up. Bec then grabs the card, when the lurker jumps out of the water.

It tries to attack Rebecca but Billy shoots at it until it was dead. Rebecca then presses another button and brings Bec back down.

Bec gets off the crate, "We should go back the way we came." she said.

They get back to the engine room and Bec uses the card on the card reader, unlocking the door.

Bec then turns to look at them, "Behind this door is a fenced room with magnum ammo, no enemies. In the following room, is where the Leech Queen and her leeches are. And they won't let us walk out of here." she tells them.

"Leech Queen?" Rebecca asks.

"That young man we saw from the train. That was the Leech Queen's human form." Bec said.

"Ok, so we just need to destroy it and we can escape?" Rebecca then asks.

"Yes, but it won't be easy. The Leech Queen comes in two forms. We'll face the first one in the room I mentioned, then it will come back in another, stronger form, once we get to the first floor of this place." Bec said.

"Couldn't we just finish it off in there?" Billy asks.

"Like with the Tyrant, we might be wasting bullets, if we try that while it is in recovery. Our best bet is to get out of here, there is someone here, who is looking for a device that can blow this place up." she tells them.

"Who?" Rebecca asks. Bec shakes her head, "Too many questions and long explanations, Rebecca." she said.

Rebecca looked like she wanted to argue, but Billy places his hand on her shoulder. She looks at him.

"Bec is right, you'll get the answers, once were out of danger. We need to escape before whoever is going to blow this place up, does it with us in it." he said.

".. Ok. Let's go meet the queen." Rebecca said humorlessly.

They head into the next room, going across to the other side of the room and grab the ammo. Bec takes off her backpack and rummages through it, bringing out her shotgun and magnum. Giving some ammo to the other for their weapons, they ready themselves.

They then head in to the incinerator, where they see leeches all over the place. Rebecca and Billy look around in shock, but Bec remains neutral. Then a voice is heard, "Welcome, young ones."

They look up to the catwalk to see the Leech Queen walking. "Glad you could make it to the party." it said.

It came to a stop, "You three are the guests of honor. This is your wake." it said, turning to look at them.

"What is it you want?" Billy demands of it.

The creature then transforms into Marcus. "We know your not Marcus, but you seem to be fixated on him for some reason. Is it because he was killed?" Rebecca asks it.

"You are both right and wrong. Yes, I was killed under the orders of Spencer himself. Two people who I had placed my trust in, betrayed me for my work. They lead the assassins to me and then dumped my body into the dumping aera." the Marcus lookalike said.

"However, something wonderous happened. The queen leech that I had been experimenting with, had been dumped with me. It eventually came to me and with it, it was able to give me new life. I live." it continued to say.

"It would take years for my strength to get where it is. Then finally I reached out to the outside world and started my revenge on Umbrella." it said excitedly, it was back in the young man form.

"The world shall feel my wrath!" it then laughs.

"Would you shut up?" Bec finally speaks.

It stopped laughing and look at her, "I can give you a painless death, so long as you give me respect." it growled at her.

Bec snorts, "Respect? You have done nothing to earn respect. Even now, leech." she said.

"How dare you!" it yelled at her.

"You claim you are Marcus, but really your not. It seems you forgot the basic functions of being a creature, you needed food and Marcus' body was right there. It was probably a few days after he was killed, you got inside his body and ended up in his head. You ate the brain, gaining his memories, in which due to the virus, made you think you are him." Bec said.

'I have had it with this place, I want to leave with Billy and Rebecca. And this creature, is the only thing left in our way. It's delusions of grandeur are irritating right now.' Bec was ready to go.

"You are not Marcus, your just a leech." Bec finishes with a hard stare.

It griped the handrails, "How do you know this?" it asks.

"That, is something you'll never find out." Bec said, holding up her shotgun.

"I'll let these two go, if you stay and tell me what you know." it offers.

"I was not born yesterday. You won't let them go, you'll have them killed, by your leeches or another creature." Bec said.

"And we wouldn't have taken your deal anyways. Bec is under our protection." Billy said, holding his shotgun.

"Even if Bec told you everything she knew, obviously you would then kill her." Rebecca said, holding her launcher.

"Now, you'll pay for what you've done!" Rebecca shouts at it.

"We'll see who will kill who tonight. I'll just keep her here and make her tell me!" it laughs.

It then begins coughing, shaking and leeches emerge from it's mouth. The three heroes look at this in disgust and in Billy and Rebecca's case, horror.

The leech queen transforms into a twisted version of an oversized leech. It goes the ceiling, startling two out of three humans. It then gets to the ground and Bec opens fire on it with her shotgun.

"Keep away!" Bec shouts at Billy and Rebecca, reminding them to keep their distance.

They get around the room, using their weapons on it. Eventually, Bec runs out of shotgun ammo, "Damn!" Bec said, throwing the shotgun away.

She tries to grab her magnum, when the Leech Queen takes her by surprise and grabs her. It has her by the throat and brings her to its face.

Bec struggles to breath as it growls out, "Tell me!"

"T-Tell this!" Bec gets out. She uses her legs and uses a maneuver to flip the creature on it's side, freeing her.

Bec breathes in air as Billy attacks it with his shotgun. Then when Bec was ready, she shoots at it with her magnum.

Five minutes pass until it finally fell to the ground. Bec looks around for the storage keys, finding them a few feet away from the Queen Leech and grabs them.

The three of them were breathing heavily from the fight. "It looks like it's dead. Are you sure we will face it again?" Billy asks, panting.

"Yes, let's move on, before it gets up." Bec said, going over to the storage room door.

Rebecca and Billy follow her, eyeing the leeches still in the room. "Ignore them, they won't make a move without the word of their queen." Bec said, watching them.

When they reach the door, Bec gives one key to Rebecca and they put them in the terminals. When they turn them, the door unlocks and opens.

They head in and start going over things, as well as gathering the items in the room. "Hey! This is a machine gun!" Rebecca said, grabbing it.

'So that's where it has been.' Bec had collected all the machine gun ammo that they've come across in hopes of finding it.

"I'll handle it." Billy said, taking it from Rebecca. Bec then gives him all the ammo for it.

Bec takes out all remaining weapons and ammo out of the backpack, save for the knife.

Once they were ready, Billy said, "I got to say Bec, your a master with long hair."

"Yeah, you've had it down for a while yet it's not damaged." Rebecca said.

Bec waves them off, "I just take good care of it, that's all." she said.

"Now listen." Bec says, causing them both to look at her, expectantly, "As I said before, we will face the Queen Leech one more time. It's second form is more powerful, but as long as we remember to keep our distance, we'll be fine. This lift can take us to the first floor, however the only way out is a helipad that is locked. There are instructions as to open it, it requires four lock releases turns at different locations in the room and it has to be done in a particular order."

"You know the order but we'll be sure to get the instructions and protect you from the queen." Rebecca said.

"Yes, not only for evidence, but when we get the door to open, sunlight will come in. That is it's main weakness and what can help us defeat it." Bec said.

"Ok, we'll find the instructions before you go release the locks. When will the leech queen attack?" Billy asks.

"As we get the lift going. Let's get out of here." Bec answers, getting on the lift.

'While some small stuff changed, the big stuff hasn't. Most likely it's because I appeared in the beginning.' Bec theorizes as to why nothing big has changed.

"One last thing." Bec said, as they come to where she is, "The person who is looking for the self destruct device will have found it, as we're on the lift and turns it on." she finishes.

The other two get on the lift and Billy brings down the lever, activating it. They start heading up, "How long do we have till this place blows?" Billy asks.

"Once we're up top, five minutes." Bec said, with a grimace. Billy and Rebecca share her sentiment, that they only had that little of time to get rid of the queen and get out of here.

Then a loud crash is heard and felt, shaking them on the lift, "It's coming!" Billy said, as they all look over the rail and see a dust cloud.

They then see the queen, bigger and more grotesque then they last saw it, roaring in fury, then an automated voice is heard, "The self destruct system has been activated. All personal evacuate immediately. Repeat."

"Come on, you hunk of junk! Move faster!" Billy shouts, messing with the machine.

"It's as fast as it will go, I'm afraid!" Bec shouts.

The Queen Leech climbs up after them, it was using incredible speed to reach them. "Shit!" Billy yells, just as it collides with the lift throwing them off it and into the final room.

Bec and Rebecca had screamed briefly and Billy yelped as they were thrown from the lift, but quickly get back on their feet.

Bec readies her grenade launcher, "Let's finish this!" she shouts, just as the automated voice says they have five minutes before this place is destroyed.

Billy and Rebecca readies their weapons and together they attack the queen. They dodge and attack in three different directions, so it wouldn't go after them too easily, but they couldn't always avoid it's attacks.

"Arggh!" Billy shouts as it's tail got him, making him fall.

"Watch out!" Bec shouts barely dodging the creature as it rushed foreword at her. Rebecca dodges the acid that was coming from it's back.

A minute passes before the leech queen gives out a roar of pain, but was not defeated. It was under the brief sunlight that was showing in the room and withering in more pain because of it.

Bec rushes over to the locks, "I'll get these going! Here!" Bec gives her launcher to Rebecca, who got by her side. Her launcher was empty now.

She then gives her magnum to Billy, who catches it as she threw it to him. She then grabs the manual.

Gate Operation Manual

To open the Heliport in case of emergency, follow the procedures below:

Removing the lock:

There are four locking mechanisms in the room which must be activated in this order:

Southwest side

Northwest side

Southeast side

West side

Turn each of the mechanism's handles to unlock the gate.

Bec then works on the southwest lock.

"Come and get it, your highness!" Billy shouts, mockingly at it. He and Rebecca fire at it with their weapons.

Once Bec gets the first lock, she runs to the northwest one and works on it.

"Ah!" Rebecca shouts in pain as it lands a hit on her.

"Get away from her!" Billy shouts, firing at it with the machine gun. As it went after Billy, Rebecca quickly treats herself.

Bec gets the lock to green and runs to the south east one, dodging the tail of the queen.

Billy has been dodging the attacks of the queen, when Rebecca fires on it again. They continue this, as Bec reaches the third lock and turns it.

'We should be at the three minute mark!' Bec knows they need to hurry.

Billy uses up the machine gun, throwing it away and switching to his magnum. Rebecca uses the last of grenade shells on it, before dodging it's attack.

Bec finally finishes with the third lock and leaves for the west side.

Billy uses up his magnum and whips out his shotgun. Rebecca uses the third magnum, dropping the launcher because it was empty.

Just as Bec makes it to west side the monster jumps her, "Ah!" Bec said in pain as it fell on top of her.

"Get the fuck off her!" Billy shouts, shooting at it. He then throws down the shot gun to use his handgun.

It backs off trying to go after Billy, Rebecca risks getting near it and helps her, pulling her to safety. "Get that last one!" she said, shooting at the queen, stopping her from going after Billy. She then switches to her handgun, for she runs out of ammo.

Bec gets to the lock and turns it. 'It should now be two minutes!'

Billy shoots at it until he hears the clicking of his gun, he was out of ammo. Rebecca's gun follows suit, they are horrified.

Just as the queen was about to kill Billy, Bec was able to get the lock to turn green. With that the ceiling opens, sunlight comes in.

The Queen Leech shrieks in pain, it throws Billy and Rebecca, who were in front of it. Bec tries to edge around it but it blocks her. She tries to shoot at it but it knocked away her handgun.

As Rebecca gets back up, she sees another magnum gun and grabs. She stands up, "Billy!" she shouts, throwing it to him as he stands back up.

He catches it, but, "Bec!" he shouts and throws her the gun.

Bec catches it and aims it at the monster, "Take. This!" she shouts at it and fires at it's heart, destroying it.

With it's heart destroyed and being out in the sun, it had no way of recovering. As it's body falls apart, it fell back to where the lift had been and disappears at the explosion starts reaching the surface.

It shakes Bec as she was the closest to it, when Billy and Rebecca come to her side. "Let's go!" Billy grabbing her by the arm. They quickly get out of the cargo room, before the explosions take it over.

A little ways away, the training facility and it's horrors are destroyed as well as the factory.

The three heroes had eventually stopped running and were walking to a cliff. Rebecca had helped Billy get the handcuffs off, which he then took and threw over the side of the cliff, when they get to it.

Billy then lays down on the ground and breathes in the breath of freedom. Bec, breathes in deeply at getting out of the training facility and at just being alive.

Rebecca then notices something in the distance, "That must be the mansion that Enrico mentioned." she said.

Bec and Billy look to the mansion, just a few miles away. "Guess, I better brace myself. I'll let you take me in Rebecca." Billy said.

"No." Bec said out of the blue.

"What?" Billy asks.

"Billy you can't be turned in. You did nothing wrong. Your part in this is over." Bec said.

"She's right." Rebecca said. She reaches down and removes his tags from his neck, surprising him.

He gets up as Rebecca says, "Officially, Lieutenant Billy Coen is dead."

She then puts his tags around her neck. "Yeah, guess I'm just a zombie now." he said, jokingly.

"Don't say that Billy. Your alive. Now you need to keep on living. I hope one day you can live as a normal man again." Bec said.

Billy looks at her, ".. That is probably too much to hope for." he said.

"No." Rebecca says, Billy looks at her, "She's right. I don't care how long it will take me. I'll find a way to prove you were innocent. Then you can truly be free."

".. Thank you both, but Bec aren't you suppose to tell us something?" he asks turning to look at her again. He meant how she knew about the facility.

"She'll tell me, then when it is safe, I'll tell you. You need to get out of here." Rebecca said.

".. So this is goodbye." he said.

"No, it is goodbye for now." Bec said, coming over to stand by Rebecca.

The girls then salute Billy, who in turn salutes them. Billy then, turns and makes his way to where the forest is.

Once he is at the tree line, he turns to face them. "Rebecca. Bec. Thank you." he said, holding a thumbs up sign and the girls wave at him.

He then turns back to the trees and disappears.

"Bec.." Rebecca says after a moment passes and they turn to look at each other.

".. I'm sorry I lost the gun you gave me." Bec tells her, delaying.

"That's ok, however I thinks it's time you came clean with me. How did you know about the places and things we faced last night?" Rebecca asks. She was determined to hear what Bec had to say.

"We-Well, you see-" just as Bec was about to tell Rebecca the truth, a light flashes. Like the one in Aida's house.

"Wha?" Rebecca said in surprise. She could see it too. It flashes again, startling them both this time.

It flashes for the last time and it was as bright as it can be, making Rebecca shield her eyes.

When she opens them, she looks in front of her in astonishment. Bec was gone.

September 2023

"Ah." Bec shouts, falling to her knees. She looks around and discovers to her relief and delight, she was back in Aida's house.

'I-I'm back!' Bec moves her hands the carpet, making sure it was real. Once she was sure it was real, she gets to her feet as tears steam down her face.

'I-I survived Biohazard 0.' Bec thinks. She then looks down at herself, her outfit was ruined and she stank.

She turns to look at the tv, it was at the still at the title screen for Resident Evil 0. She then looks at the time and sees only fifteen minutes had passed.

Bec goes over to the console and turns it off, she then makes a note for Aida. She writes that she has changed her mind about playing video games and had decided to go home.

She leaves the note on the table and leaves for her home, which is about three houses down. She goes inside the empty house, her parents were on vacation in the Netherlands, for a month. It was an anniversary trip.

She gets to her room, takes off the backpack that she had with her since the train and strips for a shower.

Once naked, she heads for her personal bathroom and turns on the hot water. As she steps in and the water cascades over her, she falls to her knees.

'I-I survived.' tears fall down her face as she thinks about what she went through.

'I'm not sure I'll look at the game the same way again.' Bec thinks as she gets up. She uses her hair products and scrubs her body, wincing as she goes over tender spots from the facility.

'I hope I never-no I don't want to go through that again.' Bec showers the soaps off and dries herself.

She turns off the water, and heads back into her room to change, in a t-shirt and shorts. She then scoops up her clothes that were ruined, from the game, and put them in the hamper.

She then goes to the backpack and puts it inside the closet. She then goes to her bed, gets down and leans against it, her head on her knees.

Resident Evil 0 is done.

It looks like Bec isn't coping well with what happened. Will she be all right?

Be on the look out for Resident Evil, next week!
