Chapter 5:

Yuno is currently captured by some magical chains. Those chains have the ability to seal magic. So he couldn't do anything in this situation. In front of him, a former senior magic knight named Revechi, who tried to steal his 4-leaf grimoire, is currently making fun of Asta for not having any magic, who is currently also kept captive of his chains. Asta is currently in despair. He had previously heard from Aaron that he had no magic. So, when Revechi told him that he had no magic as he was born defective and made fun of him, Asta didn't get discouraged. He shouted, "I already know I don't have any magic. So, I JUST NEED TO FIND A DIFFERENT POWER TO FIGHT."

Revechi laughed in amusement and mocked him, "Huh. Do you really believe that? How much of an optimistic idiot are you? In this world, there is nothing other than magic, and everyone has some amount of it. But you were born defective. So, you have nothing. You are a LOSER, and that's never going to change. So just give up now and die."

Asta couldn't do anything against the chains with the power of his body. He got drowned in despair. Aaron is hiding behind a tree. He heard that the chains created from his magic can seal others magic, so he had to act carefully if he wished to save them. So, he is thinking currently. But hearing all this made him pissed. He doesn't want to let this guy insult them any longer. Suddenly he thought of something. He imagined increasing the gravity of the small area where that guy is currently standing four times. His grimoire started glowing in front of him with the mixture of black and white. "{{400% gravity}}"

With his words, Revechi suddenly felt a huge force pressing him to the ground. He couldn't resist force and got pressed at the ground. "What is this? Who dares?"

Aaron comes out of the tree and gets close to him. Think, think. Currently, with the amount of magic I have recovered, I can only stop him for a few moments. Then he will seal my magic with his chains. If I get cought, these two will be in danger. He looks at both Asta and Yuno. I need to break these chains to free them and then run away. I need a strong attack. Suddenly he thought of a certain girl and her signature attack.

He quickly concentrates. He imagined mana condensed into his hand as a sword. He imagined swinging the sword and creating a slash capable of breaking these chains. "{{Crushing Sword}}". Mana condensed in his hand as an azure-colored energy sword, and he slashed it, creating an azure-colored magical slash.

That slash collided with the chains holding Asta and Yuno and destroyed those chains. The effect of the gravity spell crushing Revechi disappears. Aaron's maic power got used up. "Quick run away."

Revechi got up and screamed. "YOU DAMN BASTARD. Let me show you that if you get in my way, you WILL DIE A PAINFUL DEATH. Chain Creation Magic: Chains of Enslavement"

His magic created those chains again and comes at them. In those moments, that area got filled with ominous energy. From nowhere, a grimoire glowing with a black-red color appeared floating above Asta. That grimoire opens up and a huge sword comes out of the grimoire. Asta took that sword. He swings that sword at the chains. Those chains disappeared by that slash. Revechi screams, "What?" He again summons more chains, which disappear after coming into contact with Asta's sword slash. "You erased my magic." HOW? How a Loner like you gets this power!" Asta screams, "NEVER GIVING UP IS MY MAGIC." He strikes the huge sword over Revechi, making him unconscious with a single attack.

Aaron is looking at the grimoire and the sword with a huge, shocked expression. Erase magic. Thats..thats really strong. He was also sure when that grimoire appeared he felt a strange existence inside that grimoire. Now he couldn't feel it anymore. But his instincts are telling him that something or someone is in there. Asta and Yuno were talking about their promise of being the wizard king.

Asta saw Aaron and said, "Hey Aaron. Thanks for your help. It was awesome. Your magic is amazing. You should also try to be a wizard king like us." Aaron said, "I told you I am not interested in that. {{Heal}}". He touched Asta's hand and healed his injuries.

Then he healed Yuno's injuries, which used up all of his magic. Asta shouted, "WOW AWESOME." Aaron said, "Hey, give me that sword and your grimoire for a moment. I wish to check it."

Asta said, "Ok," and handed over his sword and grimoire. Aaron takes the sword in his hand. It's extremely heavy. With difficulty, he picks the sword in his hand. If he didn't do his physical training, he couldn't be able to pick up this sword. The sword is completely rusted. He could only hold this sword now because his magic is used up currently. He can feel that the mana that is coming in contact with this sword is erased.

Nullifying magic, anti-magic. Fascinating. I need to do some experiments with this. But he can understand one thing. This sword itself is amazing. Because he tried to create a good weapon for himself, he can say this sword is amazing even without factoring in anti-magic. He checks the grimoire. Upon looking closely, he noticed that this grimoire has 5-leaves. Wow, so my grimoire has no leaves and Asta's grimoire has 5 leaves. Interesting. Currently, he has no magic. But he makes a mental note to check this later properly. He gives Asta back his grimoire. They returned to the church.

They celebrated at the church at night. The others got surprised because Asta got a grimoire. Aaron didn't tell others about his experience with his grimoire. He couldn't forget what he saw with anti-magic. That experience completely flipped his own mind. He understood that the world is big and his own knowledge is limited. He smiled at himself. Of course it is. I know so little. My magic is largely dependent on my imagination, and my imagination is also related to my knowledge. Right now, I am sure I cannot even use 20% of my magic's true potential. No doubt the weapons I created until now could never satisfy me. He falls asleep after that.

Next Day

Next morning, he went to meet Sylvia. He comes to her house and sees her practicing magic. Aaron got close to her. "Good morning, Sylvia. I need some help from you."

Sylvia looks at him. "How are you now?" Aaron replied. "I am fine. Forget that; do you have a map? I need a map of the clover kingdom."

Sylvia looks with a surprise. "Yes, I have. But what will you do with a map?" Sylvia left for a moment and brought a map. Aaron looks at the map thoroughly. He saw that close to Hage village of the Forsaken realm, which is on the border of the clover kingdom, there is a huge area. This area is between Clover Kingdom and Spade Kingdom and is described as a Grand Magic Zone.

He looks at Sylvia. "Hey, what is this Grand Magic Zone?"

Sylvia described, "A Grand Magic Zone is a place with a huge concentration of natural mana. Those places are generally pretty dangerous, as the natural forces are extreme there. Also, the lifeforms there are influenced by huge mana and evolve into hugely powerful creatures. The place you saw is a Grand Magic Zone between Clover Kingdom and Space Kingdom."

After listening to this, Aaron makes up his mind. "Thank you, Sylvia. Goodbye." Aaron turned and woke away from there. "Hey wait, what is this all about?" she shouts and stops Aaron.

Aaron turned around and said, "I will visit this Grand Magic Zone. So, see you again, Sylvia. Goodbye." Aaron smiled and waved his hand. Then he left.

Then he went to the church. He bids others goodbye, packs some essentials, and leaves Hage Village. He is sure that he can figure out more things he can do with his magic while going on this journey. He told others he would be back by the time of the Magic Knight entrance exam, which is some months away. So, even his nervous curiosity and the wish of mastering his magic compelled him to this journey.
