Chapter 13: Land of Oz
In the dark chapel, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, Ruber, and Hades are watching the projection of the party leaving Agrabah and with them are Silver Knight, Morgan, Valken, Gideon, Kay, Ector, Azula, and Belial.
"Here! I brought back Jafar!" Gideon said, showing the black lamp.
"Not bad, kiddo! Gotta say, that smarmy vizier coulda had 'em already if you guys stuck around to give him a hand." Hades said.
"Hey, we did our part, Hothead!" Morgan said.
"Yeah, we brought the Princess." Riku said.
"Besides, I got the Light Crystal piece before they could. Woulda been better if that sandpit of a world was dragged into the darkness, but whatever." Silver Knight said.
"How right you are! I think Jafar should stay put inside that lamp for a bit since he allowed himself to be consumed by hatred." Dr. Facilier said.
"Indeed. One should be aware of letting it burn too fiercely." Maleficent said.
"Let THAT be a lesson for you, Hades!" Ruber said.
"Whoa, hey, hey, hey! Ya got nothing to worry about. I'm as cool as they come, okay? Oh, by the way, kids. Have we got somethin' special for you." Hades said.
"What?" Riku asked.
"We had a deal, yes, Riku? You help us and we grant you your wish." Maleficent said, showing a projection of a dormant Kairi.
"Kairi!" Riku said.
"As for you, Morgan and Silver Knight, your wish shall come true as well, once our plan is complete." Ruber said.
"In the meantime, our vessel if waiting." Maleficent said.
Emerging from the shadows is a pirate man with black hair, thin mustache, wearing a red coat, grey trousers, red pirate hat with a feather, black boots, and having a hook for his left hand.
"Just remember, boy, this is no pleasure cruise. It won't be a pleasant voyage." The pirate said.
"Why're you doing this for me? What's the catch?" Riku asked.
"Catch? What's the catch, you asked?" Dr. Facilier asked.
"Don't be silly, boy. You're like a son to me, just as I view Morgan as my own daughter. I want you to be happy." Maleficent said.
"I seriously doubt that." Riku said.
"No one cares what you think, Rikki. You made your deal, so keep your end of it!" Morgan said.
"Indeed, lest we forget, we kept out end of the bargain." Maleficent said, as Riku leaves the chapel.
"Now then, you must be Belial. I welcome you to our fold." Dr. Facilier said.
"A pleasure, my dear doctor! When I heard you wanted to add me, I felt flattered. We have a common goal and I aim for us to reach it. I do look forward to working with you." Belial said, bowing.
"The feeling is mutal, my dear. I promise you, once we get what we want, our reward shall be greater than imagined." Maleficent said and turns to see Kay. "Why, Kay, you seem quiet." Maleficent said.
"Oh, what's the matter? I know yer dumber than a bag of bricks, but not dumb enough to speak." Gideon said.
"Shut your trap, ya cockroach! I was just thinkin' about what happened in Agrabah." Kay said.
"Now THAT'S outta yer character! I mean, really. YOU...thinkin'?" Gideon asked.
"GRRRRR!" Kay growled, grabbing Gideon.
"Let him go at once, Kay!" Ector ordered.
"Tell me, Kay, what happened?" Maleficent asked.
"A change in Wart. That little maggot actually stood up to me. Even though I was givin' him a good beating, he didn't bother givin' up or run away." Kay said.
"That never happened before. What's more is that he chose to be with those imbeciles or us! That ingrate! I took him in, raised him as my own, yet he decides to go against what we're doing..." Ector said.
"Oh, that's right! I saw! Yer upset all 'cause yer stupid brother grew a backbone?! You truly ARE pathetic!" Gideon said.
"GRRR!" Kay growled.
"Gideon Gleeful, stop at once!" Ector commanded.
"I COULD BUY AND SELL YA, OLD MAN!" Gideon shouted.
"ENOUGH!" Maleficent shouted, unleashing green and black flames to make everyone quiet.
"I have to say, this is quite amusing. I think I made the right call joining you." Belial said.
"Look, Kay, just because your brother stood up to you doesn't mean it's over for us. Stop acting like a paranoid child. What threat could Arthur possibly be for us? They'll lose either way." Azula said.
"Whatever!" Kay said, leaving the chapel.
"Now, if y'all excuse me, I gotta head back to my lab! I'm VERY busy!" Gideon said, leaving the chapel.
In the dark laboratory, Gideon is checking on the boy in the capsule while preparing dark magic and then injects the dark magic into the boy while putting in his power of darkness into the boy's chest to corrupt his heart.
"Won't be long before my brilliant creation is ready! All I need now is the Black Xetis!" Gideon said, as Neo-Ghoul Black Xetis appear. "Okay, boys, ya know what to do!" Gideon said, as the Neo-Ghoul Black Xetis make their way into the boy's body, making the boy's eyes open, revealing crimson eyes.
"Soo, what's your plan next, Giddy?" A voice asked, making Gideon turn to Bill.
"I'm headin' fer the next world where those annoyin' mouth-droolers're headin' next. I wanna...play with them." Gideon said, smirking.
"Sounds fun! Hey, mind if I join in?" Bill asked.
"I don't see why not. In fact, PAZ!" Gideon called, making Pacifica arrive.
"What now?" Pacifica asked.
"I'm goin' to play with the annoyin' heroes and YOU are gonna help with that!" Gideon said.
"Seriously? I don't want..." Pacifica was cut off, as Gideon rings the bell.
"That wasn't the answer I was lookin' fer. Here, lemme try this again..." Gideon walks over to Pacifica and backhands the blonde girl. "You...are...gonna...help...me...deal with the heroes! Do I make myself clear?" Gideon asked.
"Y-Yes, Gideon..." Pacifica said, but Gideon smacks the blonde again.
"MASTER Gideon!" Gideon yelled.
"M-Master Gideon..." Pacifica said, fighting her tears.
"Good girl! That wasn't hard!" Gideon said, petting the blonde's hair.
Meanwhile, Arthur, Sora, Eilonwy, T.J., Calla, Donald, Goofy, Max, P.J., Robin, and Tod leave Agrabah and return to the new and improved Gummi ship and continue their journey while making their way for the next world and after a few minutes of flying and dodging space obstacles, they arrive at the next world that has a little town, a plain with a yellow brick road, a dark forest, and an evil fortress.
"This world's new. What's this?" Sora asked.
"Fellers, this is Oz! It's a rather strange, but beautiful world that's under a rule of a wizard." Chip explained.
"Gawrsh, we oughta check this world out." Goofy said.
"Might as well." Eilonwy said.
"Let's be ready for anything." Arthur said.
"Right. We'll be dealing with more Black Xetis and Heartless." Tod said.
"Prepare for landing!" Donald said, as they disembark.
(World of Oz)
The party arrive in what looks like a small town with little houses with domed roofs, as well as meadows with blooming flowers, a small blue pond, and tall trees with fruits.
"This place IS beautiful." Max said, looking around.
"It would be a nice place to relax." T.J. said, putting his hands behind his head.
"I would agree, Teej, but we can't just sit around and do nothing." Arthur said.
"Artie's right. We gotta find this world's Keyhole and the next Light Crystal piece." Robin said.
"That's a good point, but where do we start?" Donald asked.
"We could just look around and if we see someone, we can ask." Calla suggested.
"Yeah, maybe." Sora said.
Just then, they hear a loud scream.
"What was that?" P.J. asked.
"Hey, someone's here!" Tod said, pointing at someone, who is a young girl with brown hair tied to two braided pigtails with blue bows and wearing a white short-sleeved frock with white and blue checkered overalls, light blue socks, and old shoes running while carrying a small black terrier dog.
"Oh, I know we're NOT in Kansas anymore, Toto!" The girl cried, still running.
"What's she running away from?" Sora asked.
"There's your answer!" Robin said, pointing at Heartless that look like dark blue elves carrying pitchforks with yellow eyes and wearing red pointed hats with their emblems on the hats, as well as Black Xetis that look like goblins and orcs.
"They're gonna hurt that poor girl!" Eilonwy said.
"Oh, not on our watch!" Max said, taking out his sword and shield.
"C'mon!" Sora said, as they confront the Black Xetis and Heartless.
"Hey! Pick on someone your own size, jerks!" T.J. yelled with his daggers in hand.
"You're dealing with us!" Donald yelled.
(Battle Theme: Adventure of Oz)
The Elf Heartless attack the party with their pitchforks followed by impaling attacks while the Goblin Black Xetis deliver slashes with their cleavers followed by somersault slashes, but Arthur blocks the attacks and vertical slashes with Excalibur followed by casting Frostra while Sora diagonal slashes with Kingdom Key followed by Ripple Drive and then casts Thunder, but the Elf Heartless deliver spin attacks with their pitchforks while the Orc Black Xetis swing their clubs. Donald shoots three magic blasts from his staff followed by casting Fira while Eilonwy unleashes magic blades and sends them to attack followed by casting Gale, only for the Goblin Black Xetis to deliver spinning attacks with their cleavers while the Orc Black Xetis slam their clubs. Max blocks with his shield and then triple vertical slashes with his sword followed by Blitz Strike while Tod uses Tackle, but the Elf Heartless multi impale with their pitchforks while the Goblin Black Xetis deliver three slashes with their cleavers, only for P.J. to use Blazing Bow and fires fiery arrows to deal burning damage. The Orc Black Xetis spin swing their clubs followed by slamming them on the ground while the Elf Heartless strike with their pitchforks, but Goofy uses Charge while Robin shoots three arrows followed by firing four more arrows and then uses Arrow Barrage, only for the Goblin Black Xetis to somersault slash with their sword. Calla uses her lyre to unleash three magic music notes followed by unleashing five more magic music notes and then casts Triple Fira while T.J. delivers five slashes with his daggers followed by using Stink Bombs and throws them to deal poison damage and they defeat the Black Xetis and Heartless.
"There, done." T.J. said, as the girl and her dog approach the party.
"Oh, my! That was wonderful! Thank you for helping me." The girl said.
"Heh, don't mention it." Sora said, putting his hands behind his head.
"We're just glad you're safe." Goofy said.
"But why were the Black Xetis and Heartless after you?" P.J. asked.
"Oh, dear. Those are what those awful things were called? I don't know why they attacked me. They just appeared out of nowhere and attacked me and Toto right after we ended up in this place after we were caught in that awful twister." The girl said.
"Wait. You ended up HERE?" Calla asked.
"A twister brought you here?" Robin asked, crossing his arms.
"You don't think she's from another world, do you?" T.J. asked.
"It's possible." Eilonwy said.
"But she didn't even use a ship to get here." Donald said.
"It's kinda like with Alice when she ended up in Wonderland..." Arthur said.
"This is hurting my brain..." P.J. said.
"Let's just introduce ourselves." Arthur said and they nod.
"Right! I'm Sora. These're Arthur, Eilonwy, T.J., Calla, Donald, Goofy, Max, P.J., Robin, and Tod." Sora introduced himself and his friends.
"It's very nice to meet you all. My name is Dorothy Gale from Kansas and this is my dog, Toto." Dorothy introduced herself and Toto, who examines Tod.
"Hi, I'm Tod! Y'know, you remind me of another dog. Let's be friends!" Tod said, as Toto runs while Tod follows, making everyone laugh.
"Looks like Tod's good at making friends with other animals." Max said.
"I'll say." T.J. said.
"Um, Dorothy, how did..." Arthur stops talking, as they see a pink bubble floating down.
"A bubble?" Goofy asked.
"It could be another Black Xeti or a Heartless." Eilonwy said, as the bubble fades, revealing to be a woman with strawberry blonde hair, light blue eyes, fairy wings, wearing a glittering pink gown with silver stars and butterflies, and carrying a long magic wand.
"Huh, she doesn't LOOK dangerous." Donald said.
"Still, keep your guard up." Robin said.
"Now I know I'm not in Kansas anymore." Dorothy said.
"Young lady, are you a good witch or a bad witch?" The young woman asked.
"Me? I'm no witch. I'm just a girl. My name is Dorothy." Dorothy said.
"Well, is this one a witch?" The young woman asked, looking at Toto.
"Toto is my dog." Dorothy said.
"I see. What of you people? You don't appear to be witches." The young woman said.
"Not us. No way." Sora said.
"Though we do possess magic abilities, but we use them for good. That's it." Calla said.
"Yeah, we're good guys!" Donald said, crossing his arms.
"Not to mention, we just protected Dorothy from the Black Xetis and Heartless." P.J. said.
"I see." The young woman said.
"Why would you even think Dorothy's a witch?" Arthur asked.
"Forgive me for asking such a question. The Munchkins called me because they saw a new witch dropping a house on the Wicked Witch of the East." The young woman said.
"Wait, what?" Sora asked.
"Okay, I'm confused. What house?" T.J. asked, as the young woman points at a farmhouse.
"There's the house and here you all are." The young woman said, pointing at two black and white stocking feet sticking out from under the farmhouse while wearing red sparkling slippers.
"Wait, THAT'S the Wicked Witch of the East?" Eilonwy asked.
"Yes. Well, what's left of her anyway." The young woman said, shocking Dorothy, Arthur, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Max, P.J., Eilonwy, and Tod.
"Gawrsh..." Goofy said.
"Oof..." Sora said, flinching with pity.
"That had to hurt..." Tod said.
"Oh, well. Whomps for her." T.J. said, putting his hands behind his head.
"Teej!" Max berated.
"What? She was evil, wasn't she?" T.J. asked.
"I have to agree with T.J. I don't feel any sympathy." Calla said.
"That's why the Munchkins want to know if you're a good witch or a bad witch." The young woman said.
"I told you, I'm not a witch. Besides, witches are bad and ugly." Dorothy said.
"Yeah!" Donald said.
"I mean, not ALL of them have to be bad." Eilonwy said.
"Well, you and Calla use magic, but you're good people!" P.J. said, but they hear giggling.
"Huh, was that laughter I heard?" Arthur asked, looking around.
"What's so funny?" Max asked.
"Where's the laughter coming from?" Robin asked, looking around.
"Oh, the Munchkins were laughing at what you just said. You see, I happen to be a witch myself. I'm Glinda, the Good Witch of the North." Glinda introduced.
"Wait, YOU'RE a witch?" Sora asked.
"Seriously?" T.J. asked.
"I'm sorry. I've never seen a beautiful witch, besides Eilonwy and Calla." Dorothy said.
"If anything, I thought you're a fairy." Eilonwy said.
"That'd make more sense." Calla said.
"The Munchkins are very happy that you freed them from the Wicked Witch of the East." Glinda said.
"Um, just WHAT are the Munchkins?" Arthur asked.
"They kinda sound like food..." Goofy said.
"They're not, Dad..." Max said annoyed.
"I dunno. I they kinda do..." P.J. said.
"They're the little people, who live in this land." Glinda said.
"Well, can they come out, so we can meet 'em?" Sora asked.
"Yes, of course. Come on out, little ones." Glinda said, as little people wearing bright colored clothes with variety of hats, such as flowers, flower pots, tall hats, and bonnet hats coming out a manholes, bushes, and little buildings and they surround the party and examine them.
"Gawrsh, they ARE li'l guys..." Goofy said.
"Oh, they're adorable!" Eilonwy said, as the Munchkins grab Arthur's, Sora's and Dorothy's hands.
"Whoa, hey! What're they doing?" Arthur asked.
"Don't fret, dear. They're just taking you to city hall to meet with their mayor for graditude." Glinda said.
"Okay, but we can just follow 'em." Sora said.
The party being following the Munchkins through the town to reach city hall, but before they can keep going, they see a fireball erupting in the city near the farmhouse followed by a red cloud of smoke and a loud bang, as smoke clears revealing to be an ulgy wiman with green skin and wearing a black robe and pointed hat while carrying a broomstick, causing the Munchkins to run away in agony, as the woman goes for the farmhouse.
"What just happened?" T.J. asked.
"A witch?" Goofy asked.
"That HAS to be the bad one!" Donald said.
"But wait, I thought the Wicked Witch was crushed." Eilonwy said.
"I forgot to mention that the Wicked Witch of the East actually has a sister." Glinda said.
"Now you tell us..." Calla said mildly annoyed.
"And who is she?" Max asked.
"The Wicked Witch of the West. She's the worst witch of all." Glinda said.
After examining the farmhouse and the crushed Wicked Witch of the East, the Wicked Witch of the West confronts the party, who stand ready to fight while Tod growls at her.
"Who killed her?! Who killed my beloved sister?!" The Wicked Witch demanded.
"I-It was an accident. I didn't mean to hurt anyone..." Dorothy said.
"Well, my pretty, I can cause accidents too!" The Wicked Witch of the West said, but the party confront her.
"Back off, hag!" T.J. yelled, pointing one of his daggers.
"Leave her alone! She just said she didn't mean to kill your sister!" Arthur yelled.
"Ahh, so you wish to take her place, do you, boy?!" The Wicked Witch asked.
"You touch ONE hair on his head and you answer to me!" Sora yelled, pointing his Keyblade.
"You DARE obstruct my vengence?! Then you all will suffer my wrath!" The Wicked Witch yelled.
"But surely, you haven't forgotten aboyt the ruby slippers." Glinda said.
"The what now?" P.J. asked.
"Yesssss, the slippers!" The Wicked Witch said, going for the ruby slippers, only for them to disappear from the Wicked Witch of the East, as the stockings curl up and disappear under the farmhouse. "WHAT?! The slippers!" The Wicked Witch yelled, as the slippers reappear on Dorothy's feet.
"You are too late!" Glinda said.
"Gee, it's kinda likw how the Keyblade chose you, Sora." Goofy said.
"I guess so..." Sora said, crossing his arms.
"Give me the slippers, girl! Only I know how to use them! Give them back or I'll destroy you!" The Wicked Witch yelled.
"Don't do it, Dorothy. Keep them tightly close to you. She only wants them for their magic." Glinda said.
"Silence, Glinda or I'll fix you!" The Wicked Witch yelled, but Tod bites the witch's behind. "You filthy scamp! I'll fix you too!" The Wicked Witch yelled, only for Arthur to strike at the witch, who backs away.
"You're NOT hurting anyone!" Arthur yelled.
"Get out of here WE'LL fix you!" Calla yelled.
"Begone, Witch! You have no power here! Unless you wish to join your sister, leave at once!" Glinda said.
"Very well. I shall bide my time. Know this, my pretties; I cannot destroy you here and now as much as I'd like. Stay out of my way or suffer my wrath! I'll get you all and your little dog and fox too!" The Wicked Witch said, cackling evilly while disappearing in fire and smoke.
"Finally, she's gone." Donald said.
"What a hag." P.J. said.
"Still, this isn't the last we'll see of her." Robin said.
"Robin's right. We're gonna likely run into her again." Tod said.
"It's alright, everyone! She's gone!" Glinda said, as the Munchkins come out of hiding. "It seems you have made an enemy of the Witch herself." Glinda said.
"Yeah, no kidding, lady." T.J. said, crossing his arms.
"It's urgent you have to leave Oz." Glinda said.
"But we can't leave yet." Eilonwy said.
"Right. We gotta find the Keyhole." Arthur said.
"Oh, I'd give anything to leave this place, but I don't know how to get back home." Dorothy said.
"There's only one person, who knows how to help you." Glinda said.
"And who's that?" Max asked.
"The great and wonderful Wizard of Oz, of course." Glinda said.
"Really? Just the Wizard of Oz? No specific name or anything?" Calla asked.
"Is this Wizard of Oz good or evil?" Goofy asked.
"He's very good, but mysterious. He lives in Emerald City, but it's a long journey from here." Glinda said.
"Well, that's good news..." Donald said sarcastically.
"What's the best way to reach Emerald City?" Arthur asked.
"All you have to do is follow the yellow brick road." Glinda said, pointing at yellow bricks on the road.
"That's it?" Sora asked.
"So, if we stay on the yellow brick road, we'll get to Emerald City?" Eilonwy asked.
"That's right, but remember, never let the ruby slippers out of your sight or you'll be at the mercy of the Witch." Glinda said, disappearing her large bubble form.
"Well, looks like we don't have any other choice." Robin said.
"Let's take the yellow brick road." P.J. said.
"Don't worry, Dorothy. We'll protect you along the way." Sora said.
"Oh, thank you, Sora!" Dorothy said.
"It's not just the Witch we have to worry about. There're still Black Xetis and Heartless to deal with." Arthur said.
"You're right, Artie. There's also our other enemies..." Tod said.
"Don't worry. As long as we stick together, we'll be fine." Goofy said.
"Hope you're right, Dad." Max said.
"Onwards, to Emerald City!" Sora said, as they start walking down the yellow brick road and leaving Munchkinland while the Munchkins wave goodbye.
Unknowing to them, Gideon and Bill are on a tree and watch the party take the yellow brick road.
"There they are! They're about to head fer our trap! The fun part's gonna start!" Gideon said.
"This is gonna be a doozy! I'll let you and Pazzy have the fun first." Bill said.
"I don't see how we're going to defeat them, considering how far they've gotten." Pacifica said.
"Win or lose, all I care about is makin' 'em suffer! They need a lesson in reality!" Gideon said.
"Maybe you need a lesson in reality." Pacifica said, but Gideon smacks the blonde girl.
"Shut yer trap, girl, unless ya wanna end up like my father and your mother!" Gideon yelled.
"Guys, guys, let's not fight! Let's just enjoy ourselves!" Bill said, smirking.
"Hehehe! I look forward to it!" Gideon said, smiling wickedly.
(Field Theme: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz)
The party begin moving with Dorothy and Toto across the yellow brick road and they later arrive at what looks like a crossroad near a cornfield, but as they keep moving, they come across three different pathways and different directions with the first showing three rolling hills, the second showing a forest, and the third showing more fields.
"Are you froopin' serious?! THREE different pathways?!" T.J. asked annoyed.
"How're we supposed to follow the yellow brick road if all THREE of them are the same?!" Donald asked annoyed.
"Which way should we go?" Sora asked.
"That way seems like a nice place to go." A voice said, making them look around to see where the voice came from.
"Uh, who said that?" Tod asked, looking around.
"I don't see anyone..." Max said, looking around.
"I heard someone, but I don't SEE anyone." Arthur said, looking around and then sees what looks like a scarecrow full of straw, wearing an old black pointed hat, a green long-sleeved shirt, brown pants, white gloves, and black old farm boots hanging up high above from a pole pointing at a path.
Toto sees the scarecrow and starts barking at it.
"What, Toto?" P.J. asked, as Toto keeps barking at the scarecrow.
"Could the scarecrow be the one talking?" Tod asked.
"Ya think the scarecrow spoke, Tod?" Goofy asked.
"That's ridiculous." Calla said, crossing her arms.
"Everyone knows scarecrows can't talk!" Donald said.
"This isn't helping. We have to decide where to go." Eilonwy said.
"It's pleasant that way." The voice said, making the party see the scarecrow pointing at another direction.
"What?" Arthur asked.
"Wasn't he pointing the other way?" Dorothy asked.
"I think so..." Sora said, crossing his arms.
"This is weird." Arthur said.
"Of course, anyone can go both ways." The voice said, as the scarecrow points both directions.
"Well, now what?" Robin asked.
"Hey, wait... Were you...talking?" Arthur asked the scarecrow, who shook its head, but nods, confusing them.
"Yes or no?" Donald asked, crossing his arms and tapping his foot.
"I'm sorry. I can't make up my mind. I have no brain. Just straw." The scarecrow said, lifting his hat, showing nothing but straw.
"So, the scarecrow WAS talkin'." Goofy said.
"But HOW can you talk if you don't even have a brain?" T.J. asked.
"The better question is how can you even talkn at all?" Eilonwy asked.
"I'm not sure, but some people without a brain do a lotta talking." The scarecrow said.
"Huh, reminds me of someone." Calla said, eyeing at T.J.
"Oh, shut up, Calla!" T.J. yelled.
"Hmm, maybe we should try talking to him a little more." Arthur said.
"Talk to a scarecrow?" P.J. asked.
"Why not, Peej?" Sora asked, going for the scarecrow. "Hiya! How're you?" Sora asked.
"Not well. I've been up here all day." The scarecrow said.
"Can't you get down?" Donald asked, crossing his arms.
"No..." The scarecrow said.
"Let's help get him down." Max said.
"Okay, I guess." Calla said, as they get the scarecrow off the pole.
Scarecrow is now free, but some of his straw falls out.
"There goes some of me." Scarecrow said, standing up and picking up some straw.
"You're not hurt, are you?" Dorothy asked.
"Oh, no. I always pick myself up again and again." Scarecrow said, putting his starw back into him. "Oh, it feels good to be free." Scarecrow said.
"Yeah, good for you..." Donald said, rolling his eyes, as Scarecrow dances around, but trips and falls.
"Oh, no!" Dorothy cried.
"Are you okay?" Arthur asked.
"Artie, it's a scarecrow. I doubt he's hurt." T.J. said.
"Did I scare you?" Scarecrow asked.
"Um, no!" Calla said, crossing her arms.
"You couldn't even scare a fly." T.J. said.
"Teej, be nice." P.J. said.
"Oh, I see..." Scarecrow said sadly.
"Why were you even trying to scare us?" Sora asked.
"Because I'm a scarecrow. Am I not supposed to scare people?" Scarecrow asked.
"Well, no. Not exactly." Eilonwy said.
Just then, something appears and flies down to confront the party and it's a giant Black Xeti that looks like a giant black and crimson crow with razor wings, crimson eyes, bladed tail feathers, giant talons, and the Black Xetis symbol on its body.
"Oh, dear!" Dorothy said.
"Go away! Shoo! Scat!" Scarecrow yelled, only for the crow Black Xeti to breathe black and purple flames at Scarecrow, who runs away. "AHHHHHH! FIRE! IT'S HOT! IT BURNS!" Scarecrow screamed.
"Dorothy, get Scarecrow to a safe place!" Sora said, taking out his Keyblade.
"We'll take care of the Black Xeti!" Arthur said, taking out Excalibur.
"Please be careful!" Dorothy said, taking Scarecrow away.

The Black Xeti known as Infercrow begins flying around the sky while breathing black and purple fire to try and burn Scarecrow, only for Arthur to summon Twilight, who starts firing magenta magic blasts from her horn to deal damage against the flying Black Xeti, who retaliates with spreading its wings to unleash waves of black and purple flames to deal burning damage, but Sora delivers five aerial slashes with Kingdom Key followed by casting Blizzara. Infercrow attacks the party with its razor wings followed by unleashing trails of black and purple flames, only for Donald to cast Blizzara followed by casting Earth while Eilonwy attacks with three magic orbs followed by unleashing four more magic orbs and then casts Frostra to deal great damage. Infercrow retaliates with flying around while unleashing black and purple fiery tail feathers, but Goofy blocks them with his shield and then uses Discus and throws his shield while Robin uses Arrow Rain and rains down many arrows at the Black Xeti, who retaliates with a dashing flying attack while leaving behind trails of black and purple flames. Then party avoid the black and purple flames, only for Infercrow to shoot black and purple fireballs at Scarecrow, but Calla casts Triple Blizzara to shoot three ice shards to deal very good freezing damage while P.J. delivers three aerial heavy swings with his hammer followed by Freezing Flail and delivers a freezing swing attack, dealing very good damage. Infercrow spreads its wings and unleashes more waves of black and purple flames, only for Max to block the waves of black and purple flames and then uses Sky Dance and aerial slashes with his sword while Tod uses Skullbash, but Infercrow attacks with its razor wings and talons, only for T.J. to strike back with Trick Slash and teleports while slashing with his daggers.
Infercrow flies around while unleashing black and purple fiery tail feathers to try and attack the party, who dodge out of the way, but the flaying Black Xeti unleashes pillars of black and purple flames to deal more burning damage on Scarecrow, only for Tod to use use Quick Attack and leaps in the air while striking with his tail while Robin uses Arrow Bombs and fires three exploding arrows, but Infercrow retaliates with breathing black and purple flames. P.J. uses Shocking Sickle and swings the sickle while dealing shocking damage while Max uses Shield Boomerang and throws his shield, but Infercrow retaliates with attacking with its razor wings followed by attacking with its talons and then spreads its wings to unleash waves of black and purple flames. Goofy blocks the attacks with his shield and then delivers four bashes with his shield followed by Tornado while Donald shoots five magic bullets followed by unleashing three magic pillars and then casts Thunder, only for Infercrow to fly around while shooting black and purple fireballs at the party, who dodge out of the way. Infercrow unleashes more pillars of black and purple flames to deal burning damage to the party, who avoid the flames, as Calla unleashes three magic music waves followed by attacking with magic music whips and then casts Geo Impact while Eilonwy casts Volt followed by casting Gale, but Infercrow attacks with its talons followed by breathing black and purple flames. T.J. uses Razor and Boomerang and throws it all over to deal damage to the flying Black Xeti, who retaliates with raining down black and purple fireballs to try and deal burning damage, only for Sora to use Strike Raid and throws his Keyblade four times while Arthur casts Frostra and they finish off Infercrow.
Infercrow roars in pain, as it flies into the air, but crashes into the ground while disappearing in black mist, as the party go for Dorothy and Scarecrow.
"You two okay?" Sora asked.
"Yes. Thank you all for protecting us." Dorothy said.
"I couldn't even scare off that monster. Most crows come and eat at my fields and laugh at my face." Scarecrow said.
"Yeah, that Black Xeti was WAAAAY more scarier than you." T.J. said, putting his hands behind his head.
"T.J.!" Eilonwy berated.
"What? I'm not wrong." T.J. said.
"I'm sure if any scarecrow in Kansas was like you, the crows would be terrified." Dorothy said.
"Where's this Kansas?" Scarecrow asked.
"It's where I live we're going to Emerald City to have the Wizard of Oz help me." Dorothy said.
"And we're working to protect her from any danger along the way." Arthur said.
"Really? You're off to see the Wizard of Oz himself?" Scarecrow asked.
"That's what we said." Donald said.
"Tell me, if I were to come with you, do you suppose he'd give me a brain?" Scarecrow asked.
"Don't hold your breath, Strawface." T.J. said.
"Besides, it's bad enough we have Black Xetis and Heartless to deal with, but there's also the Wicked Witch of the West." Robin said.
"Witch? Ha! I'm not scared of some witch! I'm not scared of anything!" Scarecrow said.
"And you ran screaming when that Black Xeti attacked you." Donald said, crossing his arms.
"You were screaming like a baby." Calla said.
"Well, yes, but it was using fire! Still, I'd face any danger to get some brains!" Scarecrow said.
"What do you guys think?" P.J. asked.
"Well, if getting a brain means that much to you, then come with us." Arthur said.
"Yeah and maybe, the Wizard might give ya a brain." Max said.
"You're joking? That sack of straws is comin' with us?" T.J. asked.
"Deal with it, T.J." Calla said.
"Oh, thank you! Just one thing!" Scarecrow said, grabbing a pitchfork.
"What's with the pitchfork?" Goofy asked.
"I may not have a brain, but I'll do my best to protect you." Scarecrow said.
"Cool! We'd get to see a scarecrow fight!" Sora said, grinning.
"This should be interesting." Calla said.
"A scarecrow willing to fight?" Tod asked.
"Now I've seen everything." Donald said, rolling his eyes.
"Okay, enough standing around. We still gotta head to Emerald City." Arthur said.
"Yeah, we gotta go talk to that Wizard guy." T.J. said.
The party, along with Dorothy and Scarecrow, keep moving across the yellow brick road and they later arrive at a wooded area, but unknowing to them, Gideon and Pacifica are watching them.
"Argh! They took out my Black Xeti and they're still movin' to meet that dumb Wizard! Maybe I oughta slow 'em down a bit!" Gideon said.
"Well, what's your idea?" Pacifica asked, but Gideon looks at a tree and makes an evil smirk.
"I got a perfect one! It's sooo sinister, I LOVE it!" Gideon said, using his dark magic on the tree.
"Here we go..." Pacifica said.
As the party keep walking down the yellow brick road and keep moving through the wooded area, but as they keep moving, Dorothy sees something and it looks like an foot and leg made of metal and as the party examine the metal leg and foot, they see what looks like a man made of silver metal and hollow tin, but also appears to have rust while standing motionless.
"What is THAT?" Sora asked.
"It looks like a man...made of metal." Robin said.
"Gawrsh, he's all rusted..." Goofy said.
"Is he...alive...?" P.J. asked.
"Oi... An...!" The metal man mumbled.
"What'd he say?" T.J. asked confused.
"I think he said 'oil can'." Max said.
"Oil can for what?" Arthur asked.
"Him, I think?" Eilonwy asked, pointing at the metal man.
"Oh, but where can we find one?" Dorothy asked.
Tod looks around and finds what looks like a can sitting on a stump next to the metal man.
"That has to be it!" Tod said, taking the oil can.
"Where do you want us to put on you first?" Robin asked.
"My... Outh..." The metal man mumbled.
"What?" T.J. asked.
"I think he wants his mouth oiled first." Scarecrow said.
"Okay." Arthur said, using the oil can on the metal man's face and after enough squirts, the metal man's face is free from rust.
"Oh, I can finally speak again! Oil the rest of my please." The metal man said, as Arthur oils the rest of the metal man's body and later, he's free and can move again. "Ah, that felt wonderful!" The metal man said.
"How did you get like this?" P.J. asked.
"A year ago, I was chopping this tree, then it started to rain. When I was still chopping, I began to rust. I was like this ever since." Tin Man said.
"Whomps for you." T.J. said, but Eilonwy smacks him.
"Well, least you're all better now." Max said.
"Not quite. Bang on my chest." Tin Man said.
"Why?" Sora asked.
"Please." Tin Man said, as Arthur bangs on metal man's chest, creating an echo. "Empty." Tin Man said.
"Huh?" Sora asked.
"The tinsmith, who created me, forgot to give me a heart. I'm all hollow." Tin Man said.
"No heart...?" Tod asked.
"Least he's not a Heartless..." P.J. said.
"Hey, listen, we're heading for Emerald City to see the Wizard of Oz to try and get Dorothy back home and give Scarecrow a brain." Sora said.
"If you come with us, there's a chance he'll give you a heart." Calla said.
"You think so? I'm not sure he'll give me one..." Tin Man said.
"It's worth a try." Eilonwy said.
"We've come such a long way." Dorothy said.
"Long, you say? You've only just begun!" A voice said, as they see the Wicked Witch and with her is Gideon.
"I must say, y'all're doin' a splendid job of gettin' this far, but this is as far as y'all're gonna git!" Gideon said.
"You've been following us?!" Arthur asked, as they get ready to fight.
"Of course we have! We know you've been on your way to see that stupid Wizard! It ain't gonna happen!" Gideon said.
"Now, girl, give me those slippers or I shall turn that scarecrow into a mattress and that metal man into a beehive!" The Wicked Witch said.
"Forget it! You got us to handle!" Donald yelled.
"I was hopin' ya say that!" Gideon said, as something appears behind him and it's a giant Black Xeti that looks like a giant black and green tree with long wooden claws, razor sharp teeth, crimson eyes, purple razor leaves, and the Black Xeti symbol on its trunk.
"Oh, great! Just what we need!" Robin said.
"Witch, head on back to yer fortress! My Black Xeti pet'll deal with 'em and git those slippers faster than you can say 'Game Over'!" Gideon said.
"Very well. Have fun, dearies!" The Wicked Witch said, disappearing in fire and smoke.
"Scarecrow, Tin Man, get Dorothy somewhere safe!" Sora said.
"We'll deal with this Black Xeti!" Arthur said.
"Okay, but pleae be careful!" Scarecrow said, as he and Tin Man take Dorothy and continue moving.
"Now, my Black Xeti pet, dinner time!" Gideon said, disappearing in darkness while the Black Xeti roars.

The Black Xeti known as Terror Treant delivers slashes at the party with its claws followed by unleashing razor leaves to strike, only for Arthur to deliver four vertical slashes with Excalibur followed by two roundhouse slashes and then casts Blazra to deal burning damage while Sora summons Simba, who uses Proud Roar to deal great damage to the giant Black Xeti, who retaliates with summoning smaller treants to send to attack the party. Goofy delivers three bashes with his shield followed by two upper bashes and then uses Charge while T.J. uses Dagger-Nado and delivers spinning strikes with his daggers, only for Terror Treant to unleash more razor leaves followed by summoning wooden spikes from the ground to try and get the party. Donald casts Aero to protect the party and then shoots four magic blasts from his staff followed by casting Fira to deal great fiery damage while Calla unleashes three magic music waves followed by casting Triple Fira and shoots three fireballs to deal great burning damage, but Terror Treant strikes back with trying to trap the party in vines and then delivers slashes with its claws. P.J. uses Blazing Bow and shoots a fiery arrow to deal burning damage while Tod uses Growl to deal stunning, but Terror Terant retaliates with unleashing more razor leaves followed by unleashing more wooden spikes from the ground, only for Max to use Cyclone and spin attacks with his sword and shield. Terror Treant tries to trap the party in vines followed by unleashing more smaller treants to attack the party, only for Eilonwy to cast Blazra followed by casting Volt while Robin shoots five arrows followed by firing four more arrows and then uses Cyclone Arrow.
Terror Treant strikes back with unleahsing apple bombs and throws them to deal exploding damage followed by unleashing poisonous puddles, only for Tod deliver four strikes with his stick followed by Tail Strike while Robin uses Arrow Bombs and shoots exploding arrows, but Terror Terant strikes back with unleashing razor leaves to deal damage and then unleashes more wooden spikes from the ground. P.J. delivers three heavy swings with his hammer followed by Ground Pound and slams his hammer on the ground to unleash shock waves while Max delivers three slashes with his sword followed by four diagonal slashes and then uses Shield Missile, but Terror Treant unleashes smaller treants to attack and then throws more apple bombs to explode on the party. Goofy delivers three bashes with his shield followed by Discus and throws his shield while Donald unleashes three magic pillars followed by casting Thunder and then casts Earth, only for Terror Treant to strike back with its claws followed by trying to trap the party in vines to attack. Calla unleashes five magic music notes followed by unleashing four more magic music notes and then casts Whirlwinds and unleashes twisters while Eilonwy unleashes three magic orbs followed by unleashing five more magic orbs and then casts Gale, but Terror Treant retaliates with unleashing poisonous puddles followed by unleashing wooden spikes from the ground. T.J. uses Divide to create two clones and they deliver horizontal slashes with his daggers followed by diagonal slashes and then use Trick Slash and teleport and slash, only for Terror Terant to slam its claws on the ground followed by unleashing razor leaves to strike, but Sora delivers five slashes with Kingdom Key followed by casting Fira while Arthur uses Holy Blade and they finish off Terror Treant.
Terror Treant roars in pain, as it crumbles into piles of wood while disappearing in black mist, as Arthur's and Eilonwy's Quake magic upgrades to Quakra while Sora's and Donald's Earth magic upgrades to Earthra and Arthur obtains a pink summon gem known as Startwinkle.
"That takes care of that Black Xeti." P.J. said.
"But it looks like Dorothy, Scarecrow, and Tin Man have gone on ahead." Tod said.
"We'd better keep with them. With Gideon around, things'll get very bad is they're not with us." Arthur said.
"Artie's right! Let's go." Eilonwy said, as they keep moving through the wooded area.
