Mason couldn't help but smile as Alex guided his hand and with a swing, made him throw the water balloon at an unsuspecting pedestrian below. It met its mark with a splash and immediately they ducked back when the guy yelled out in angry surprise.
He stared at her as she giggled, still holding her hand on top of his like she didn't realize she was doing it. "Wasn't that so funny?" Sure, dropping water balloons on people was a bit rude, but he would happily do it again if it meant hearing more of her cute laughter. It was water anyway, harmless in the end.
She met his eyes and her giggles slowed to a stop. Cutely she bit her lip and looked away with an embarrassed blush. Without thinking he used the contact to twist and capture her hand securely in his to tug her closer. With his free hand, Mason brushed her hair from her face, his fingers trailing gently on her cheek.
His smile was soft as he looked at the mortal girl who had entranced him. He knew it was wrong according to the magical dimension, he was dangerous to her, but he couldn't help himself. It was the werewolf's trait of impulsivity. He'd already fallen for her before he had a chance to speak a single word to her and from there it was over for him, nothing would stop him from getting close to this beautiful, headstrong girl.
"Aren't you going to grab another balloon?" she deflected, glancing to the bucket next to them. She was cute when she was nervous. "What happens if I do this instead?" he tugged and with no resistance, brought her closer. Letting go of her hand he rested his hand instead on her waist and reached up to hold her chin between his thumb and forefinger. Her eyes fluttered closed in anticipation and he took that as his cue to lean in closer, brushing their noses gently before closing his own eyes to press a kiss to her glossy lips.
When they parted from their first kiss, he licked his lips and took in her dazed expression. Her fingers played with the button on his shirt and she bit her lip as she looked up through her lashes as she looked for her words. "Well, I think what happens is another one." she teased, lifting her chin herself.
"What the lady wants, she gets." he chuckled before obliging the teasing request. Breaking the rules never felt so good before, and he knew he would continue to break the Magical dimensions rules for as long as she let him.
