"Kyahahahahahaha," laughed Miss Valentine. She was pulling Vivi away with her hands behind her back. "See what happens when you go against Baroque works?"

Luffy was stuck under a weirdly shaped mountain. Usopp was stuck in the ground. Karoo was unconscious. They were all covered in black soot by the explosions from Mr. 5.

"Luffy," screamed Vivi. "You monsters!" She tried to escape but couldn't. "Let me go!"

"Like we'd ever listen to you! There's nobody here to help you," Miss Valentine taunted the poor girl.

A roar made them look into the clearing. A T-Rex had run into it. It was dancing weirdly. It let out another roar and fell to the floor. Its roaring got louder and louder.

A large tooth exited the dinosaur's gut. It traveled across its abdomen. The roars stopped as the dinosaur died. Blood pooled around the corpse.

Two hands came out of the dino's gut. It separated the cut into a hole big enough to walk through. Out came Diamond Tiara.

She was covered in blood, stomach acid, and saliva, except for the bandages. So it was less 'covered' as it was just the hands, feet, and head.

"AHHHH," screamed Miss Valentine. "It's her! Run!" Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine took Vivi away as fast as they could.

Diamond Tiara, on the other hand, stood still. She was quietly snoring.

Chapter 10: Blind Ambition!

Dymon D. Ciara

I woke up while still standing. It turned out that I didn't die while in a dinosaur. That was lucky.

I was just able to snag its tooth as it threw me in the air. My semi-conscious body was able to cut me out before I fell asleep to oxygen deprivation. I wasn't quite able to snap back, my head was still a bit loopy.

Luffy was under a mountain and Usopp was stuck in a hole. Karoo was trying to dig them out with his beak. I walked to his side and knelt to my co-captain. "Hey, looks like you're in a bind."

"Woah! What happened to your eye," he said in shock. I kicked him, it was extremely weak because I was in a dinosaur. "Hey, what gives!"

"You almost got me eaten by birds! Then I was eaten by a dinosaur!"

"Hey, me too." I wanted to kick him again, but I dropped it. I wasn't the type to argue over petty things.

"So, what's going on?" I pointed to Usopp. "What up with this guy?" Karoo quacked at me, he looked agitated.

"Oh yeah, I forgot! Those guys from Whiskey Peak came back and took Vivi!" How did he forget that? Wait, did he understand Karoo? "They also ruined the giant's duel!" That made him much angrier.

"You can catch me up on that later." I pulled Usopp from his hole. "First, we got to get you out." I walked to the mountain. "This is a terrible idea." I figured, since he got stuck under it, I could unstick him. I planted my feet, put my hands on the white cliff, and pushed.

"Hahahahahahahaha," Luffy laughed at me when I gave up. I couldn't move it at all.

"Shut up," I yelled at him. "I could've done it on a full stomach!" He only continued to laugh.

Karoo bit him in the head. The duck was extra mad that time. "Quack, quack, qua-quack," I assumed it meant. "Get off your lazy butts and save Vivi."

"Fine, I'll try this time." I grabbed Luffy's wrists and pulled. He stretched but didn't move. I fell to the floor. When I tried to stand, I couldn't get up. "Sorry, guys. I'm gonna have to sit this one out."

Usopp had finally stood up. "No, you can't be out of the fight! You're the strongest one besides Luffy."

"Hey, I'm stronger than Luffy." I didn't bother wasting energy to yell.

There was a sudden shift in Usopp's demeanor. He was more relaxed for some reason. "Psh, I don't know. Luffy still wants to fight. How can you say you're stronger when you've given up?" Oh hell no! This guy only saw me fight once, I refused to let that embarrassing show define me!

I was standing in a second, glaring into Usopp's face. "I'm the strongest. I deserve to be captain. I don't care what I have to do!" I ran in a random direction.

"It's the other way!" Usopp pointed away from the mountain. I corrected myself.

"Hey, wait! I'm still the captain," Luffy yelled. I didn't hear him after that. He must've given up. I was going to save the princess, get everyone's respect, and they'd make me captain. This was going to be easy.

"Diamond Tiara!" I found myself turning for the wrong name. I was flattered by their nickname, but it was a little rude. I wasn't like that character, I was pretty sure. Luffy's rubber body connected with mine. "You won't be the only one helping Vivi!" He also brought Usopp and Karoo along. They were wrapped in his twisted limbs.

We careened through the woods. Trees whizzed past us. We barely avoided hitting them.

We slowed down enough to touch the ground. I started running to avoid face-planting. "You're an idiot," I yelled at Luffy.

"Takes one to know one," he yelled back. He was running with Usopp and Karoo tangled in arms.

"So you agree!"

Karoo bit me in the head. "Quack!"

"He's right," said Luffy. His face was suddenly serious. "We have to help our friends."

I refused to believe this guy spoke duck. Nevertheless, he was right. I said, "Sure, we'll work together to save Vivi."

We continued running, some trees were getting in the way, so we destroyed them. After a while, we reached our destination.

I only saw a giant white cake. I couldn't get a good look before we tripped and were launched fifty feet in the air. Our momentum carried us to the other side of the clearing, where we crashed into some trees.

I weighed less than them so I was much higher. I hit the top of a tree face-first. I fell, hitting my head, leg, and ribs on the branches before landing on Luffy and the rest.

"Ow!" I clutched my remaining eye. A tree branch stabbed it and leaves got into it. It was so irritating that I couldn't open it. I rubbed it, but that made it worse.

I got up. Or should I say they forced me to stand?

"Let's get them Usopp, Diamond Tiara, and Bird Guy," Luffy yelled.

"Don't worry Broggy," said Usopp. "We'll take it from here."

"I'm here too," I said with my hand up. "I don't know what's happening, but I'm here.."

"That's who you're so afraid of," asked some guy with an annoying accent. "I'd be more afraid of a baby with a gun."

"Are you talking about me?" I was sure I pointed at them. I couldn't believe someone could be so rude.

"I'm behind you." The voice came from behind me.

"Is that your hair," said Luffy. "It's on fire." Wow, I could only imagine what that was like.

"Yeah, he has weird hair, but that's not important," Nami yelled. I couldn't place where she was. It was like she was floating in the air. "Can you break this pillar? We're about to turn into wax figures!" That wouldn't be good, we needed our navigator.

We got ready for a fight. I assumed I couldn't see a thing. Either way, I couldn't wait to punch something.

"You're looking the wrong way," said Usopp. I turned around.

"Let's do this." I tried to open my right eye. It still hurt too much to keep it open. "Can someone lead me?"

Nami

I could only watch as my friends tried and failed to save our lives. Luffy kept getting hypnotized by a girl with paint. Usopp rode Karoo in circles, trying to escape Mr. Five and Miss Valentine. The worst was Diamond Tiara or whatever her name was, walking in circles. She was completely blind for some reason.

Zoro of all people was giving her directions. "Go down," he yelled at her.

"What does that even mean," the blind girl yelled at us. She started punching the grass. "Is this what you want?!"

Me, Zoro, and Vivi were stuck in a large pillar of wax. Spinning candles were raining wax on us to make us into statues. Zoro did a 'cool pose' so his statue would look good. Me and Vivi didn't do that.

The giants, Dorry and Broggy, were out of the fight. They were almost completely covered in wax.

Luffy was trying to get to the wax pillar. He had stopped moving on a black circle.

"Luffy! Diamond Tiara can't help! You have to save us," I yelled at him.

"I refuse," Luffy replied.

"What do you mean 'I refuse?' Come help us right now, you idiot," yelled Zoro. Vivi also pleaded for his help.

"I just don't feel like helping you guys."

I didn't know what to think. Luffy, suddenly betraying us like this? I felt like crying. "Luffy, what's wrong?"

"My colors trap," said Miss Golden Week. She was a little girl with a paintbrush. She was eating cookies.

"I heard that," yelled Diamond Tiara. "Losing my sight has heightened my other senses! Don't worry Luffy, I'm coming to save you!" She ran towards the painter. And kept running, and running. She wasn't making any progress. "Am I close? What's happening?"

"I'd say you're moving quite a lot," said Mr. 3, disguising his voice. It was high-pitched and annoying. He was using his wax powers to make a moving platform under her. She hasn't noticed it. "Keep going, you're sure to make it."

"Got it, Nami!" She thought the voice belonged to me.

"Is that what I sound like to you," I yelled at the blind jerk.

"What?!" She turned and immediately tripped. The floor had moved her feet back and her face hit the floor. It continued to move. Diamond Tiara tried to stand but kept tripping. She wasn't going anywhere. "What is this?! Sorcery! I call BS!"

"She won't be any help. I guess we're going back to Luffy," said Zoro. I had to agree. Diamond Tiara probably had good intentions, but she just couldn't help in her condition. It was clear that her hearing didn't get any better either.

Luffy was still not moving. "I just can't get the motivation," he said.

"It has to be Miss Golden Week," said Vivi. "I know that this is your doing!"

"This is my colors trap: Betrayel Black. Touch it and you'll want to betray your friends, no matter how much they beg for help." She bit into a cookie.

"What's going on? I don't get it."

"She's a realist painter. She can manipulate emotions with her paint," explained Vivi. "Each color is a feeling. One splash and you'll be under her control."

"Well, we're pretty screwed," said Zoro. "That simpleton is already easy enough to manipulate."

We had to get him away from the paint. "Luffy, get off the black paint! Quickly," I yelled.

"No, don't! Stay on the black paint," Vivi contradicted me. I didn't understand why, but I said nothing, she must've known more about it than me. "Please don't save us Luffy!"

"No way," Luffy stepped off the black paint. He looked up. "Oh hey. What just happened? I was acting pretty weird."

"Luffy! Help us," yelled Vivi.

"I'm on it!" He winded up a punch, then stopped. He started laughing. "Hahahahahahahaha, never mind! I'm laughing now. Hahahahahahahahaha!" He fell to the floor in his fit of laughter.

"Colors trap: Laughter Yellow," said Miss Golden Week. "You shouldn't have left the black circle."

The paint was on his shirt. It was clear what he had to do.

"Luffy! Take off your shirt," I yelled at him.

"Damnit, Nami," yelled Diamond Tiara, still falling repeatedly on the moving floor. Mr. 3 got so used to it that he was doing it while lounging on a chair. "We don't have time for your perverted desires!"

"Shut up you hypocrite! You were eying up Miss All Sunday!" I had no idea why I responded to that. I usually didn't care about that stupid stuff. How did Diamond Tiara make me so angry?

"At least she's an adult you weirdo!"

"Uh, Nami. Is this really what we should be talking about," asked Vivi. She was right. Diamond Tiara was only being a jerk because she owed me 500 million berries. Maybe I shouldn't have reminded her of that every morning since we left Whiskey Peak. It wasn't like the money would randomly appear.

"I agree with Vivi. We should be focusing on not becoming statues," said Zoro. "If the wax keeps falling like this, we'll be lucky to have five minutes."

"Ahhhh," yelled Usopp. He had ridden into the clearing with Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine following behind. They ran around for a while, running into Luffy before leaving again.

Luffy wasn't laughing anymore. The paint on his back must've smudged. He got up and turned to the painter. "Hey, stop it!"

"But you were having fun, weren't you," she asked.

"It was a little funny, but stop!" He turned back, then stretched his arms back a long distance. "Gum Gum!"

"Colors Trap: Bullfight Red!" Miss Golden Week painted a red circle on the ground.

"Bazook..." Luffy's attack stopped as his hands hit the red circle on the ground. His arms deflated like a balloon.

"I can't let you break it. That would make Mr. 3 angry. Now the only thing you'll attack is that red circle."

"Agh! I'm mad now!" Luffy went for another attack, but it led to the same result.

Aw, man. Luffy can't fight. Diamond Tiara was still blind. Usopp was playing tag or something. Where was he again? The wax had almost covered us, and I was getting anxious.

"Now for some Sadness Blue." Miss Golden Week painted on Luffy's shirt in the same spot again. "Colors trap: Tranquil Green." The colors combined and made green.

Luffy calmed down and sat on a blanket. He sipped tea. "Ah, this tea is good."

"Luffy," we all yelled at him. He didn't listen.

"What now," I asked nobody. The wax was falling. It was getting harder to breathe.

"I told you to get into a cool pose," said Zoro with a smirk. "Now you're gonna die looking like that."

"I hate you." That was the last thing I said before losing my sight. It was dark. I was so scared.
