Chapter 9 – Home
They entered inside the mansion and Amidala came towards him hugging her son happy to see him.
"My dear son, I'm so glad you are finally here," she said kissing his cheeks, and then hugging her daughter in law too. "And I see everything is okay now between you two, right?"
Luke glare at Ines and giving her a pick on her lips, he looked back at his mother with a big smile.
"Is that answer your question?" he asked, making Amidala laugh.
"No need to say anything more."
"And like I said you're welcome," Leia replied being help by Han to sit on the couch due to her big pregnant belly.
Ines looked at her best friend and sister in law.
"Don't think I will forget what you just did, young lady!"
Amidala frown and looked at her daughter and then back to her daughter in law.
"What did she do?"
Before Ines could answer, Lukey who was on his grandmother arms at the moment, answered the question.
"Shit!" he said giggling at his grandmother, which made Amidala gasped and looked at Luke with wide eyes.
"Who taught him that?"
Luke and Ines looked at Leia, which made Amidala shake her head.
"Leia Amidala Skywalker, you need to be careful when you say those words near the kids, they imitate everything we say!"
"Mama has a dirty mouth!" Ani said looking at his mother and pointing his finger at her.
"Even our son can see that!" Han said "High five buddy!" he said hit his son hand who laughed at that.
"Wait, Leia Amidala?" Ines asked surprise to hear that name.
"Yes, that is her name. Amidala as my last name and Skywalker from Ani," Amidala said. "I change my name from Naberrie to Amidala when I became Queen, so when I got pregnant with the twins, well we didn't know it was two, we decided that the baby would have our last names. So if it was a girl it would be Leia Amidala Skywalker and if it was a boy it would be Luke Amidala Skywalker. That's your real name and that was the names you got when you two were born in Polis Massa. Bail knew that. But of course because nobody could know who Leia was, he named her Leia Organa."
"At least Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru kept my last name: Skywalker, but I didn't know my second name was Amidala!" Luke said.
"Now you know kid!" Han said picking up Bail and sitting the 5 years old on his lap.
At that time Ahsoka and Ezra arrived at the same time.
"Hey welcome back!" Ezra said shaking Luke's hand and hugging Ines.
"Well we are glad that now everyone is here cause we want to talk to you!" Ines said looking at everyone.
"Right, you said you have something to tell us," Reed said sitting next to his wife.
Waiting for Ines father Ken and her brother Dan and sister in law Gracy, Luke and Ines started to tell what Boba and Fennec told them in Jabba's old Palace.
After they finished, everyone looked at each other trying to see understand the news they just heard.
"The Alliance had a Rebel Base in Bakura!" Leia spoke.
"And during the Clone Wars the your father and Obi Wan fought there against Grievous," Amidala replied.
"Yes, Grievous used to call Anakin as the Hero of Bakura after that. He got a quite reputation as one the greatest Jedi!" Ahsoka informed nodding.
"But you think that attack has something to do with former imperial activities?" Ezra asked.
"We don't know," Ines spoke to him. "But due the nature of the place and having so much history even more the Empire, we think that we need to investigate more about what happened!"
"Yes, if it was just a local rivalry, good," Luke nod.
"But if it is not?" Ken asked looking at his son in law.
"Then we need to be prepare, and that is why I also asked for Luma to be here too!"
Luma looked at Leia and Amidala.
"We want the Senate to be informed?" she asked.
"Not now. Let's see what happened first." Luke continue.
"But how?" Dan asked him.
"Boba came to the idea that maybe we can inform Din and Bo!" Ines replied.
"I can tell Rex too, they can go there and investigate," Ahsoka said right away.
"Good idea!" Amidala nod.
"But what about the Senate. What do you want us to do?" Leia asked to her brother while rubbing her big belly.
"Well, we think at least Mon Mothma and Admiral Ackbar need to be inform. But maybe only us know this, to not create panic, for now!" Luke informed.
"Luke is right, "Amidala nod. "Every activity we need to know but we also need to make sure is nothing bad for the galaxy!"
"Okay, then if you want I can inform Mon Mothma right away!" Luma said.
"I will be with you too," Amidala said to him.
"And I will try to contact Rex as soon as possible and maybe they can go there and investigate with some of the other clones," Ahsoka also said.
"In mean time, let's wait, that's all we can do!" Ken said.
"Well in the mean time, I will rest cause I really need," Leia said with a wince.
"Let me guess she is pressing her little feet on your ribs!" Ines replied with a smile.
"Oh yeah!" Leia said standing up with the help of Han.
"And we take that time for you take your afternoon nap," Han said looking at his twin boys who pout at that.
"We are not tired!" Bail said right away.
Han laugh at that remark.
"You say that but the moment you two are in bed 5 minutes later you are sleeping!"
"And we need to unpack and need to rest too," Ines said looking at her kids. "And we all take a nap too, how about that?" Luke said.
"We want to sleep with you Papa!" Alli said right away.
"We knew you would say that," Ines laugh, "That let's do what Spots is doing right now," she said looking at the cat who was fast sleep on the carpet.
With a smile they went upstairs for a good rest.
