"Camping!" Kuri danced around the campfire.

"No." Yukio said firmly. "This is an exam."

Kuri pouted. "Camping."

Reiko chuckled and looked up at Yukio. "There's no fighting her on that Yukio."

"Camping!" Rin cheered.

"You have to find a lantern out in the woods, light it, and bring it back." Yukio said. "There are only three."

"Only three?" Rin looked at Kuri. "Let's go then!"

Reiko chuckled and stretched. "Alright…time to pass this exam."

Yukio kissed her cheek. "Good luck."

Reiko kissed his cheek. "Thanks!" Reiko ran after Rin and her sister.

Kuri headed into the woods when she was grabbed by Amaimon.

"Yes…I'll have you as my bride…" Amaimon said.

"You again?! Let her go!" Rin brandished his sword.

Whoa…" Amaimon examined her neck. "A mark on her? Impressive brother. Marking an angel."

"Let me go you slime!" Kuri snarled.

Rin stepped forward. "I don't know what your talking about!"

Amaimon bit down on her neck.

"Aah!" Kuri went slack.

"How dare you!" Rin got pissed, blue flames surrounding him.

"Sis!" Reiko caught up.

"Now go and kill him. Kill Rin." Amaimon ordered.

Kuri started towards Rin.

"Kuri!" Rin pulled his sword out.

"Oh shit!" Reiko said, thinking, there's no way he can override a mark like that!

Kuri sheathed the sword. "You won't need it."

Rin collapsed, slightly stunned.

Kuri grinned and touched her neck. "Like a lowlife demon could mark me without my permission." Her wings spread. "who do you think your dealing with ne?!" She whirled on Amaimon. "but I'm just a fledgling. So I can't snap" A tree disentigrated. "you out of existence. Instead I'll just…" —feathers grew out of his arms, rot spreading— "let you enjoy living in a body that rejects you. This is temporary, but if you EVER touch my sacred body again…I'll make it permanent."

Amaimon whimpered and escaped.

Yukio ran in and saw the angel and Reiko the demon.

Reiko's ears flattened and she quickly tried to glamour them back up.

Rin's eyes widened and he stared at Kuri. she has wings?!

Kuri saw them looking and her wings drooped.

Yukio gasped. "An angel…and a fox." He reached out to her. "Reiko…your so cute!"

Reiko blushed and hid behind her tail. "Y-you're not..mad?"

Yukio was puzzled. "Why would I be? My brothers a demon too…"

"Yes I know that. But I mean…from keeping it from you?"

"I understand why." Yukio said matter-of-factly.

"You do?" Reiko looked up at him.

"Of course. You hid it cuz your in the order."

"Yes…" Reiko said softly. "They can't know…"

Rin stood in front of her.

Kuri flew away.

Rin ran after her.

Kuri was in a tree.

Rin looked up at her. "Hey. Can you come down?"

"NO!" Kuri pouted stubbornly.

"Please?" Rin held out his hands.

"You won't like me anymore!" Kuri whimpered. our special bond is gone! I don't feel the pull!

"That's not true. I still like you." Rin grinned at her.

Kuri Jumped down. "Why? Rin i…I'm the daughter of a monster. Worse than Satan, he only wants to start the apocalypse."

Rin grabbed her and pulled her into his arms. "You're not worse than he is!"
