There was a moment of peace.
An unusually calmth and silence in which Izaya's breath was held and the blond´s eyes dipped into dark black. What was he waiting for he said- for a second Shizuo searched for a hint- a hint of the question being a joke, of the flea backing out of what he had just offered, only to find no resistance in those eyes that were now darting back and forth between Shizuo´s lips- his eyes- his chest and the shirt he wore that had been torn open.
And suddenly the clock's hands continued to tick- and the raven was pulled off the counter and towards the bedroom in what could only be described as a burst of desire.
Before he even knew what was happening, Izaya found himself being flung onto the bed. He turned around, just in time to see Shizuo rip his tie off his neck and pull his shirt off his chest.
"This is your last chance."
It was a threat- that caused the raven´s dick to jump at the promise.
He was crazy.
He should be running, right now, bail out of this room- this was Shizu-chan they were talking about, this was not part of their deal, this was not what the raven had planned nor was it safe to stay here, because ultimately he had no idea just how far the brute would go.

"Izaya, are you okay?" Taking some more breaths of air the raven let his head thud backwards into the cushion, his hands barely finding the strength to grasp at Shizuo´s wrist.
"What...?" he tried to speak, only to realize just how sore his throat was by now.
"You passed out coming in the shower," Shizu-chan enlightened the raven, hand grazing above his ear gently brushing a strain of hair away.
Worry was clouding his expression. That blond hair was still dripping wet- he didn't even dry it off.
Ah, Izaya was naked too.

A blanket had been sprawled above him in a clumsy, but just so Shizu-chan like manner.
"You gave me a bit of a scare there." he continued, drawing soft patterns across the raven's skin. "Are you okay?"
Wow.
Izaya had passed out during sex before, but not for reasons as pleasant as this - his hair was still wet, it must have been a few minutes at most that he had been out of it.
"You weren´t kidding when you said you would fuck me senseless," Izaya chuckled, although quiet as he continued breathing evenly.
He felt weak.

A glance towards the clock told him it was 4 am.
He could feel his legs, his arms, his waist and the strain that had been put onto them.
He couldn't move at all, he knew that without trying. And yet, somehow he felt just so secure trapped by the blond's arms. It was comforting, the gaze Shizu-chan looked at him with.
"I'm an idiot, I overdid it."
Guilt and regret suddenly decorated Shizu-chan´s face and Izaya felt as though a knife had been rammed inside his chest.
Before even thinking about it, he reached towards Shizuo´s face and pulled him down for a soft kiss. It was quick, short too, as the raven didn't have a lot of strength left but it was enough to surprise the blond.
Sinking back into the pillow Izaya made sure to hold his gaze and full blown attention.
"You didn't." Like a soft breath the words left his lips, "I got exactly what I asked for."
A frown appeared on Shizuo's forehead, however, stating the obvious fact once more.
"You passed out."
Izaya merely shook his head, suddenly so, so tired.
"I should apologize for that, not you. I didn't eat anything all day. It was inevitable-" the frown Shizuo's face wore grew only deeper at that.
"Who doesn't eat anything for a whole day? That's not healthy," the blond grumbled under his breath while lighting himself one of his cigarettes.
"Neither is smoking," Izaya snorted at the hypocrisy, his eyes fluttering shut as he let his eyes close.
"Tired?"
"Very."
With a soft sigh the raven let his next options circle inside his head. Walking back to Shinjuku was kind of impossible. Getting himself into a taxi home would be one option, but it was 4am and he didn't exactly trust no one to ambush him at night on his way home. Even when it was just the short distance of stepping out of a car. Maybe around morning hours. When his beloved humans were out in the streets again.
"Would you mind waiting a few hours before kicking me out? I would leave right now but I think my body won't do as I tell it to," Izaya tried- hoping, albait already knowing that the blond would never decline this sort of request.
"Just what kind of ass do you think I am?" Shizu-chan questioned with a soft frown as he exhaled some of the smoke.
"A proterozoic one?" Izaya joked, lifting his hand just a little to ward off the majority of it.
"You stay." Funny how obvious the blond made the topic seem.
"Forever?" Made him want to tease him.
"Don't make me change my mind flea," Shizuo snorted, one of the pillows quickly flying their way into Izaya's face, muffling all further complaints.
"Alright I will be good," the raven snorted, moving the object aside. It was funny.
Weird.
The little banter seemed just so comfortable. It wasn't something the flea should do- or them both. And yet, it felt… right.
The bed shifted as the blond himself laid down next to the raven. The soft hiss of a cigarette was to be heard as he extinguished it in a glass of water next to the bed.
It was odd. Izaya should feel out of place. Like he didn't belong. He had never exactly made it a habit to stay overnight at other people's homes. It had always had a weird taste to him.
Everything was different. The smell, the walls, the mattress- even the sounds. He could hear a clock tick from somewhere. Not Shizuo´s apartment but rather the one aligning to it.
Tick tock, tick tock-
That's why he had bought an entire floor. So that no one could get on his nerves like that. And yet- right now the sound was almost soothing.
Just as much as Shizu-chan´s breaths.
He could hear them, the soft rhythm- The protozoan seemed to have one hell of a sleep pattern. Dozing off what must have been barely a few seconds was a skill Izaya envied. He could also feel the heat the blond was giving off at all times.
Freezing most of his life the raven couldn't help but wonder how the blond could always stay this warm.
So warm.
Just like the pillow the blanket- the monster was radiating all the way to him- and it was comfortable.
Way too comfortable.
Before he knew it he felt his lid grow heavier and heavier by the minute.
He should hate the fact that he was falling asleep next to the monster- and yet… somehow he couldn't find a flaw in it.
