Never Let Me Go
Chapter 5
Lucas knew he probably should of not reached out to Nathan. But he truly felt as if he had a right to know.
He hoped Nathan would show up at some point and if not at least he tried.
"Mouth and Skills will visit you tommorow. Jimmy too." Brooke mentioned.
"Thank you both for coming. And visiting us." Haley said.
"We are serious about supporting the both of you." Lucas replied.
"We're going to give the two of you some space. We love you two." Brooke said. Hugging her lightly.
The couple soon left the room and it was just Haley and her daughter.
The infant was either awake or asleep.
Haley couldn't believe out of the biggest heartbreak had brought forward the most life changing blessing in her life.

Nathan replayed what Lucas had told him during that phone conversation. How he treated Haley during their last encounter months ago still haunted him.
"Where the hell are you going?" Peyton asked. Feeling get out of bed beside her.
"Lucas needs me to go back to Tree Hill. You go back to bed." Nathan said.
"I'm going with you." Peyton replied.

Haley had managed to sleep in spurts. Every time she woke up.
Her eyes on her daughter. It was knocking at her hospital room door that moved her gaze up.
Her heart jumping to her throat at the sight of Nathan.
The expression on his face softened at the sight of the infant in the cot beside Haley.
"We have a daughter." Nathan said his voice soft.
"Sadie Lydia James. I have a daughter." Haley replied.
