Chapter 14
The expression on his face softened at the sight of her.
"I came here to see you're mom." Nathan admitted.
Sadie's eyes went wide. "My mom doesn't know you."
"How do you know her?" Sadie questioned.
"We used to date." Nathan confessed.
"Sadie. Why don't you go check out the desserts. We can bring one home with us." Haley suggested.
"I thought you didn't know him?" Sadie questioned.
"Honey just go please." Haley insisted.
And Sadie then walked over a short distance away.
Haley glared at Nathan. "What are you trying to do?"
"Why would you tell her anything?" She questioned.
"I wanted to be honest. She asked me."
"I'm going to tell my parents. I want Sadie in my life." Nathan replied.
"You want to make up for you're bad choices. To prove you're a decent good person. But you aren't."
"You got exactly what you want why can't you just forget we exist!" Haley exclaimed.
Sadie quickly followed after her.
Nathan felt eyes on him as he made his way towards the exit door.

"Double chocolate chip cookies."
"He told me the two of you. Used to date."
"He was never a stranger to you right?" Sadie questioned.
Haley ran her hands through her hair. Sighing deeply.
"He was my first real boyfriend. My first love."
"He's you're father." Haley admitted.
