Kevin's Office

"Kellie's still with the patient and Stella, according to Johnny," Jason said, "He'll bring her here as soon as she's done."

"Diane, what is going on?" Max said, "Uncle Charles is alive. That shouldn't be possible."

"When the Cassadines are involved, it seems almost anything is," Diane said, "Taggert found him in Greenland. I don't know all the details, but Victor was holding him captive after faking his death."

"What would Victor possibly want with Charles?" Max asked.

"Kellie was the target, not Charles," Jason said, "But wouldn't the WSB hold Charles for their own evaluation."

"Yes, well, it appears they evaluated him in Greenland and the flight," Diane said, "They determined he could come home. I already have paperwork with the therapist and doctor on the flight attesting to his identity and mental state."

"Can I see the paperwork," Jason asked.

"Sure," Diana said, handing it to Jason.

Jason looked through file as Max looked over his shoulder. Max's jaw twitched which didn't go unnoticed by Jason.

"Later," Max said when Jason looked at him.

Diane proceeded to tell Max and Jason everything else she knew as Epiphany, Liz, and Kevin examined Charles. Epiphany and Liz drew blood for labs and then proceeded to set up x-rays, cat scans, and MRIs.

"What didn't you want to say in front of Diane?" Jason asked Max once Diane left.

"The therapist that signed off on in-flight evaluation," Max said, "is a cousin. I don't think the WSB is who brought Charles here."

"Your father then," Jason said, "We'll have to ask Lorenzo about that."

"That means the WSB might be looking for him," Max said as Jason checked his phone.

"Kellie's finished up with the patient and Stella," Jason said, "Johnny's bringing her here."

Jason looked at his phone again a short while later.

"What is it?" Max asked.

"Kellie keeps getting held up," Jason said, "First by Michael and Carly. Now Obrecht has her waylaid in main area of the floor. I think I better go meet her there just in case. Obrecht was in Greenland. I'm not sure what she knows about Charles."

Outside Willow's Room

"Let me just stop and say hi to Willow through the window," Kellie said to Johnny as they passed by her room.

Johnny looked hesitant.

"Did Jason say why we needed to meet in Dr. Collin's office?" Kellie asked, "Did it sound like an emergency?"

"He didn't say why," Johnny said, "Just said I needed to bring you there as soon as you were done with the patient."

"Are you here to see Willow?" Carly asked as she and Michael walked up to them, "I know she'd appreciate it even if it's just on the phone. She has to be isolated to ensure she doesn't get sick for the bone marrow transplant."

"I'm aware," Kellie said, "I will on my way back. Something else came up here that I have to take of."

"Is everything okay?" Carly asked.

"I think we should get going," Johnny said.

"Drew mentioned you might have had something to do with Liesl getting back here," Michael said, kind of stiffly, "Thank you for whatever you might have done."

"I really can't take credit for Liesl getting back here for Willow's bone marrow transplant," Kellie said, "I just lent support where it was needed."

"It means a lot," Michael said, "Especially when we're not exactly speaking much to each other these days."

"I'm just glad she's getting her transplant," Kellie said, "The Leukemia is something no one should have go through."

"Let Willow know we'll be back," Johnny said, ushering Kellie away.

"Seriously, Johnny," Kellie said.

"I just have this feeling," Johnny said as they made it to the main area of the hospital, "We need to meet with Jason sooner rather than later."

"Kellie Corinthos," Liesl said, approaching her, "I understand I have you to thank partly for getting back here to ensure my niece beats this vile Leukemia."

"You're welcome for whatever I did or didn't do," Kellie said, "I really can't say I did much."

"I highly doubt that," Liesl said, "And you must be ecstatic with the good news you received from Greenland."

"Well, yeah, my cousin Spencer is safe and on his way home, of course," Kellie said, slightly confused, "Along with everyone else."

Liesl looked perplexed, "No one's told you yet, but I just saw…"

They were interrupted by several gentlemen in suits, carrying badges, stepping off the elevator, and approaching the nurses station.

"We're looking for Michael Corinthos III and Caroline Leigh Spencer," one of the agents asked Nurse Driscoll, loudly, "We're with the SEC and It's our understanding they may be here visiting a patient."

"Carly and Michael having heard the commotion, came and stood next to Kellie and Liesl.

"What's going on?" Michael asked.

"It's the SEC and they're looking for you and Carly," Kellie replied.

"Aah, Mr. Corinthos, Ms. Spencer, thank you for being so cooperative," The other agent said, noticing and approaching them, "We're with the SEC. We need to bring you in for questioning regarding ELQ and Lavery Media Publications."

"Are you kidding me?" Michael said, "My wife is preparing a for bone marrow transplant."

"We still need you to come with us," the agent said, "This isn't optional."

"We'll call Diane," Carly said, "But this is still ridiculous."

"If you happen to know where Ryan Lavery is," the agent said, "We'd like to know that as well."

Jason and Max appeared from another hallway in time to see Carly and Michael begrudgingly follow the agents. Jason noticed that several other agents had blocked off all hallways and that Charles, Lorenzo, Liz, and the guards were stuck standing directly across from Kellie and Liesl on the other side of the nurses station.

Lorenzo noticed Kellie was there and looked over to Jason who shook his head to indicate Kellie didn't know. Jason saw that Charles was watching Kellie, who was distracted by Michael, Carly, and the SEC agents, now waiting by the elevator. Johnny saw Charles and exchanged a look with Jason.

When the elevator doors opened, Sonny and Nina stepped off.

"What's going on?" Sonny asked.

"Excuse us," one of the agents said, ushering Carly and Michael on to the elevator, "This really isn't your business."

"Call Diane," Carly said to Sonny, "Tell her it's the SEC."

"I'm on it," Sonny said as the elevator doors closed.

Half of the people in the room went about their normal business as the other half of the room stayed still. Some like Sonny and Nina noting Charles's presence for the first time and others like Jason and Lorenzo watching to see if Kellie noticed.

Charles stood waiting as he watched Kellie turn her attention back to the hospital surroundings after the SEC, Carly, and Michael left.

Kellie registered the presence of Lorenzo and the guards across the hospital floor. Then she did a double take as she noticed Charles, her face reflecting utter disbelief and confusion.
