Rachel's alarm went off, and she hit the snooze button. She groaned before stretching and letting out a big yawn to show her Hellhound fangs. She sat up on her bed and got up to go to the bathroom. She washed her face and looked at herself in the mirror. She had white fur with small areas that were black fur. Her long layered hair was black with red highlights that were as red as her eyes – the ends of her white tail were red. Her upper left arm was covered with tribal and watercolor tattoos, including a raven tattoo on her left shoulder. Inside her right forearm was a tattoo of a dagger with the blade stabbing through a skull.

Being a bounty hunter and assassin kept her in good athletic shape. Plus, being a Hellhound made her stronger than humans, so work on the surface was easy. She looked at the Polaroid photo of her and her little sister, Loona – it was taken a long time ago when they were both kids. Every day, she wished that she was with her. Rachel kept hoping that one day, she'd die in combat so that she could be with Loona. Her heart ached every time she looked at the photo.

Then her phone buzzed with a text. She looked to see that she had received her next list of targets to kill from the Grimms' HQ. Rachel got dressed in her black T-shirt, dark blue slim-fit jeans, black leather motorcycle jacket, and black knee-high combat boots. She also had her black collar with metal spikes and a dragon pendant of her favorite dragon – the Redeye Blackthorn.

She geared up in her personal arsenal of weapons. Since it was a lot of them, she loaded up on extra guns, including her holy shotgun, which looked almost exactly like the one in the movie Constantine, except it was slightly bigger with a buttstock made of red mahogany wood. Like the one in the movie, it was gold plated with fancy religious engravings all over it, a cross iron sight at the end of the barrel, a flashlight on the bottom instead of the top and a chrome drum mag.

Rachel also got her custom Heckler & Koch USP Match with compensator and extended magazines loaded with heavy-duty 45 ACP ammo. The frame and compensator were black, while the slide and trigger had a matte finish. She also took her custom Taurus Raging Judge revolver with a 6.5-inch barrel. The frame and barrel were black, but the cylinder, trigger, and sights were matte finish – on the cylinder were black wolf paw prints. They all went into her infinite cube.

Rachel found it incredibly convenient that such an item existed – to be able to store an infinite amount of stuff and to carry it with you wherever you go. She didn't mind that it looked a lot like the Hypercube from Jimmy Neutron.

Once Rachel was loaded up and ready, she did what she always did before leaving the apartment. She looked at the Polaroid photo again and stared at it for a long while before leaving. It was late at night, and there was hardly anyone on the streets, so she didn't bother to put on her human disguise. She drove to the target area, which was an abandoned hotel.

The targets were a group of demons known as the CCC, the Cannibal Carnage Club, a group of demons that go up to the surface, murder humans, and eat them. Rachel pulled out a spell book that had the Grimm's insignia on it with some glowing symbols on it. She cast a dome spell that sealed the entire place off. No one was getting in or out, including noise, and no one could see through its camouflage pattern. Then she pulled out all her weapons from her infinity cube. Her holy shotgun, H&K USP Match, her Taurus Raging Judge revolver, and all the heavy-duty ammo – including her bowie knife as well.

The hotel was old and filthy, had broken furniture everywhere, and parts of it were falling apart. Rachel entered inside and followed the blood trails and the crunching/munching sounds until she found a large room where ogre and troll demons were eating humans. They were mostly armed with blunt weapons – no firearms, at least none that she could see. Rachel threw a flashbang and that stunned the demons for her to shoot them. Each blast with her holy ammo sent them flying while bursting into white flames. For those that were close, Rachel hit them with the shotgun or broke their faces with a punch or kick. She grabbed one ogre demon by the back of the head, smashed him onto the floor, and then blew his brains out with her shotgun. She punched one troll in the gut, kneed him in the face, and then Roundhouse kicked him in the face, making him spin in the air before she shot him.

Once she was done with the first drum mag, the demons regained their senses and attacked. She reloaded and continued to fire at more until her holy shotgun was knocked away from her hands. She punched the ogre demon in the face, grabbed him by the head, and kneed him hard in the face, and he fell on his back. She pulled out her H&K USP Match and started shooting at demons coming at her. Since the demons were so close, she had to use close-quarters combat to repel them off – in other words, John Wick style. Rachel shot demons in the chest or in the face as she kicked, punched, dodged, or elbowed them as she dodged their machetes and axes. With each shot from her gun, little bursts of blood sprayed out, some of it getting on her – she reloaded her gun in seconds.

When the room was clear with fifty dead demons, she holstered her pistol and picked up her holy shotgun before heading to the main room where more of them, including their leader, should be. However, when she got there, Rachel saw that he was a twenty-foot-tall giant troll demon. He laughed as he held his giant axe, and more henchmen showed up. He swung at Rachel, but she dodged it just in time. The axe swung right through a concrete pillar and crumbled.

The leader mocked Rachel, and they laughed, saying that she was going to die slowly and painfully as they'd eat her alive. The Hellhound wasn't impressed nor showed an ounce of fear as she slung her shotgun over her back. Then she held her hand out, and a dark blue orb glowed in her hand before taking the shape. Once the light disappeared, Rachel held her enchanted weapon. It was a broadsword that looked like the fully upgraded version of the Enja sword in Onimusha 3. A whip sword like the one from Raja the Last Dragon, only instead of red and fire magic like the one in Onimusha 3, it was dark blue and had thunder magic.

Rachel sprinted toward the leader with the orb in the handguard glowing and the blade zapping blue lightning. She swung multiple hard swings and slashes at the leader, and each blow hit like a ton of bricks with a zap of fifty thousand volts. Then she delivered the final overhead strike that zapped the leader into oblivion with a huge bright thunder strike. The other demons were stunned by that wonderful display of magical violence. Rachel huffed and puffed her labored breaths as she glared her red eyes at her prey while bearing her dagger-like fangs. Then, the demons hardened themselves and lunged at the Hellhound.

Rachel released a switch, so it was now a whip/serpent sword. With each swing, the blade extended and swirled around like the sword in Raya and the game Onimusha 3. Those caught in the blade's path were sliced deeply as blood sprayed in the air. Some blocked the attacks, while others had their throats or faces cut open and blood spraying in the air. Rachel even had the blade pop out hard, stab one demon in the chest, and then, with a hard pull, the demon was thrust into the air before slamming into the ground – there was a loud crack from his back and neck. She did the same thing again to an ogre demon, only this time she spun him around in a twister before throwing him into a group – they all crashed into the wall and debris collapsed down on top of them. The remaining five ran away, but Rachel didn't let them get away. She pulled out her Taurus Raging Judge revolver and aimed at the fleeing demons. Each round of the 454 Casull was like a hand cannon being fired. She killed three that were running down the hall; two had big holes in their chests and backs, and one's head popped like a bloody balloon. The other two were hiding in a hotel room. Rachel saw one through the closet door and shot him in the head. The last one tried to escape through the window, but she shot him in the side. As he slumped down against the wall, bleeding and groaning in pain, Rachel reloaded.

The troll demon coughed a mouthful of blood before speaking, "You fucking traitor."

"Hmm?" Rachel asked without looking as she finished reloading.

"Killing your own kind. You call yourself a demon?!" the troll demon demanded.

"I call myself a killer," Rachel replied before shooting him in the head and splatting his blood and brains all over the wall, "A killer sent to do a job."

She holstered her gun and texted her superiors that the job was done. They replied that the cleanup crew was on its way and asked her to come to headquarters. When she exited the building, the sun was rising, casting its golden light on everything. Rachel leaned against the wall to relax for a little bit. She pulled out her pirate zippo lighter and lit a cigarette. She gazed at the sunrise, admiring its beauty as the cleanup crew arrived.

Rachel gave a respectful nod, "Hank."

"Rachel," Hank nodded back.

Once she was finished with her smoke, Rachel drew a portal on the wall and drove her car through it. The Grimms' headquarters were hidden underground. She entered inside and went down the elevator. Once she got down to the bunkers, she saw Tilla and Rosita talking with Angel Dust and Husk.

"Whoa, look what the axe murderer dragged in," Angel Dust said.

"Angel!" Tilla said, smacking his arm.

"You look like you were busy taking out the trash," Husk stated as he scanned her.

"What can I say? There's all sorts of assholes that need to get whacked," Rachel said as she washed her hands and face.

"What was it this time? Some crazy sacrificial zealots?" Rosita asked while crossing her arms.

Rachel dried her face with a towel, "No. It was the CCC. A bunch of demons that kill humans and eat them. They're dead as a doornail now."

"Hopefully, that's the last we'll see of them," Tilla said.

"Well, at least you got to see some action. It's getting so boring down here," Angel said.

"Aw, what's the matter? Tired of eating three square meals and having all the hot sex you could possibly want?" Rosita teased.

"Hey, I'm not the only one sexually active, Miss Sugar Tits. You and Tilla have been eating and plowing into each other ever since you got here," Angel said.

"We can't help it if we're horny and in love," Tilla defended.

They talked for a while and then Moses walked in with a great big smile while in a happy mood.

"Great news! Great news! Great news! Great nnnneeeeeeewwwwsss!" Moses sang.

This got everyone's attention. He called for a meeting in the assembly room. The other Grimms and agents gathered there. Most were human, but there were also other demons, along with a few angels, including cherubs, fallen Powers, fallen Virtues, Valkyries, and Grim Reapers, aka angels of death. The assembly room had over fifty people, including Tilla, Rosita, Angel Dust, Husk, and Rachel – some people sat down while others stood. Rosita and Tilla sat and held their hands as they stuck close together. Husk had his arm around Angel Dust as he clung to Husk while sitting next to the two lesbian demons. Rachel stood behind them, leaning against a wall with her arms crossed.

"Okay, so we've had to stay in Deep Shadows Mode due to the I.S.N.A. Many of our fellow Grimms have been killed. However, I am pleased to tell you some good news. Sir Cody was able to get King Bael and his army to engage in a massive attack against the I.S.N.A. Over twenty major bases have been destroyed!" Moses announced.

This surprised everyone as their eyes widened, and some even gasped. Even Rachel raised her eyebrows.

The hologram projector showed the various locations of I.S.N.A. bases being attacked, with their soldiers and staff getting killed by King Bael's troops and knights. It also showed the prisoners being released and treated for medical attention. Many of the Grimms cheered seeing the I.S.N.A. getting their asses kicked. Several demons and angels were so happy that they cried happy tears and hugged each other.

Tilla, Rosita, Angel Dust, and Husk walked over to Moses.

"Did this really happen? Are they gone?" Husk asked.

"Oh, I wish. Sadly, they are still out there in numbers, but this is still a victory. They were hit with a sledgehammer," Moses responded.

"Does this mean we can come out of hiding?" Angel Dust asked.

"Yeah, can we see our families?" Tilla asked.

"Unfortunately, it's still too dangerous for you to leave," Moses said.

That made them sigh in disappointment and roll their eyes.

"I know how much you two want to see your children, but please understand. You need to be alive in order to see them, and that only works when it is safe, okay?" Moses asked.

They breathed a heavy sigh while rolling their eyes. Then Rosita groaned, "Fine."

However, what caught Rachel's eye from the hologram was Loona. Her eyes widened the second she saw her all geared up and fighting alongside other Hellhounds and demons. For a moment, all the noise fell away, and her heart froze. There was no doubt. It was her sister, Loona, because she looked just like her. She was alive! Rachel marched to Moses, pulled him hard into an office room, and closed the door.

"Why the fuck didn't you tell me?" Rachel demanded.

"Tell you what?" Moses replied without showing any emotion.

"Loona! Loona's alive! My sister is alive!"

"Yes, she is."

Rachel shoved him against the wall and glared into his eyes while growling. There was a long moment of silence before she asked, "Why. Didn't. You. Tell. Me?"

"Why do you think? Because you would have gone after her, and I need you here. There is still a ton of work to be done, and I didn't want you to do something reckless," Moses said.

Rachel's eye twitched out of anger. She wanted to beat the snot out of him but decided not to as she ungripped his shirt.

"Yeah, that's what you do, isn't it? Keep secrets to prevent certain outcomes. For the greater good, right?" Rachel questioned.

"You know what's at stake! Staying hidden is key to our survival!" Moses objected.

"You mean your survival. I'm not a Grimm. I'm a hired assassin," Rachel replied.

She stormed out of the office.

"Rachel! Stop, you can't just go to your sister," Moses said.

"Watch me!" Rachel shot back.

Angel Dust grabbed her hand, "Hold on, Black Widow. Maybe you should think this through before actually doing it. Like, what are you even going to say to her?"

Rachel stopped and realized that was true. She hasn't seen Loona in so long since they were kids.

Husk sided with Angel, "Yeah, you can't just waltz in front of her like, 'Hey, it's me. Your long-lost sister.' You need to think this through."

He was right, but knowing Moses, he wouldn't let her go just like that. Rachel let out a sigh before sitting back down.

"I know you want to see Loona, but the risk is still too great, and the last thing that you want to do is put your sister's life in danger," Moses said.

Rachel glanced at Angel Dust and Husk.

"There's a time and a place for everything. Now is not the time for family reunions, not yet anyway," Husk said.

"Just be patient. Wait a little longer, sugar," Angel Dust added.

Rachel groaned a sigh, "Fine."

She walked back to watch the downfall of the I.S.N.A. bases. She focused on the images showing Loona. Rachel gazed at how much Loona had grown since the last time she saw her and noticed that she looked a lot like her, only white hair.

"I wonder what kind of person you are now, little sister," Rachel whispered to herself.
