Aggron and Darkrai continued their 'duel.' The two silently agreed to force the battle away from the rest of the group. The two 'exchanged blows fiercely,' going back and forth despite the glaringly obvious power gap. They hoped that Bisharp would not notice, what with the eight people he would be up against. However, Darkrai noticed that Bisharp was watching, before he could notice the lack of action, Darkrai made the decision to spice up this pseudo fight.

Telepathically, he told Aggron,

"Don't panic!" He then raised his hands and a sphere of dark energy grew in size. Not wanting to alarm everyone else, he telepathically told everyone his plan. The ball over his head grew bigger and bigger, eclipsing a three story building in size. He then threw the energy hall at Aggron.

Aggron instinctively ran. After all, why wouldn't he? Regardless of the context, a giant ball of death and destruction heading straight towards you is more than enough reason to get out of dodge. Besides, it gave the illusion to Bisharp that this attack was deadly. Then Aggron's heart stopped, the civilians, they had no idea what was happening. Anyone left behind would still be hurt by the blast.

Aggron screamed to the village,

"Get out of here, now!" As unfortunately expected, there were some stragglers. They emerged from their homes and saw the giant ball of death and destruction. Naturally, some panicked and started running for the hills. But Aggron could tell that they weren't going to make it on time. Not to mention, there was the village idiot who's asinine thought process turned the big black ball in the sky as a blimp.

Aggron stomped the ground. A wave of dirt and rock pushed Its way through the village. The remaining villagers were gently guided out of the town towards a nearby hill. He then turned on the heel to see the energy ball right on top of him. He raised his hands, ready to take the hit. Even if Darkrai was holding back, he couldn't risk being underprepared. The ball crashed into his hands, pushing against him with the force of a plane. Doubting Darkrai's ability to limit his power, Aggron mega evolved, granting himself every ounce of strength he needed. He had to stall for as long as possible.

However, the blast was too much for him. He yelled as the blast crushed him and exploded. However, there was much less pain than he expected. It seemed that Darkrai held up his end of the bargain, thankfully. Once the air cleared, Aggron immediately looked around for anyone that was caught in the blast. It appeared that nobody was hurt, thank god, and the explosion didn't seem to disrupt too much of the town, little rubble in sight.

Aggron sighed with relief. That's one less thing to stress about during the final battle. At that moment, however, Darkrai suddenly flew back towards everyone. Aggron's eyes grew wide, Bisharp must've ordered him to join the fight! He slammed his foot into the ground and leaped into the air, in hot pursuit of the nightmare god.

Bisharp skidded across the ground as Garchomp and Gardevoir gave chase. There was a large gap between them and the rest of the group. Pillars of rock and stone chased after the steel type like cruise missiles. Bisharp extended his wrist blades and slashed at them, splitting pillar after pillar with relative ease. Garchomp then struck Bisharp in the chest, taking advantage of the distraction. Gardevoir flew over Bisharp, landing behind him, and fired dozens of little green spheres into his back. Each one exploded upon impact.

Bisharp roared as he swiftly kicked Garchomp's fist away. His eyes flashed before he ducked. The green blasts pelted Garchomp but quickly died out. Bisharp then spun on the heel and rocketed towards Gardevoir, much to her surprise. She put up a barrier, one of psychic energy, and then formed a stone barrier. Bisharp, however, had a plan.

He yelled at Darkrai,

"Help me! Now!" At a moment's notice, the god flew towards them. Bisharp then demanded,

"Get them off of me! Now!" With no room for misinterpretation, Darkrai went on the offensive. Gardevoir's barriers were shattered like candy glass, requiring only the most minimal of effort for the god. Garchomp rushed to her aid, jumping towards Gardevoir like the ground were a trampoline, alas, Darkrai had to make a move.

Darkrai's arms slowly began to extend. They cracked with every subtle twitch. Garchomp cringed at the sounds, yet was unable to look away like it were some freak accident. Darkrai then, with his newly enlarged arms, reached for Gardevoir and Garchomp like some freakish monster. Its speed was unparalleled.

Gardevoir and Garchomp's were snatched by the nightmare god. It's vice grip threatening to crush the two of them. With a sinister grin, Bisharp said,

"Crush them!" Darkrai glanced at the two and winced.

"Now!" Bisharp snapped. Gardevoir screamed as she felt Darkrai's grip tighten. Her bones were slowly being crushed, pushing to their breaking point. Garchomp fought as hard as she could, pushing and pulling against the goods grip, her body roaring in ceaseless agony with every movement, subtle or big. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to affect him.

Flames overwhelmed Darkrai. The god saw a chance to let go and released the two to 'defend himself.' Gardevoir looked to see Infernape firing an infernal wave into the god, pushing him back. Gardevoir yelled out,

"What are you doing?"

"You're going to get yourself killed!" Garchomp said as she landed. However, there was a method to the madness, Infernape smirked as he screamed at Bisharp,

"Hey, coward!"

The steel type glared at Infernape.

"Stop hiding behind that god of yours and come fight like a man!" With eyes that hungered for blood, Bisharp shot towards Infernape. Infernape hissed in pain, his right arm was still broken. Ignoring the pain, he jumped back as Bisharp punched the dirt beneath, the ground buckled from the impact. Infernape then flew away from Bisharp with a shit-eating grin.

The two flew from Gardevoir and Garchomp. The former took the chance to attempt to speak with Darkrai,

"Stand down! We can come up with a plan." Darkrai shook his head,

"I can't. His orders. I've only got so much room for error." He whispered, ashamed of the words leaving his mouth. He then pointed towards Bisharp,

"The only hope is to get that gem before he demands an execution."

Infernape jumped and weaved as Bisharp gave chase but his mind was on fire. He couldn't believe he was doing this. This was unbelievably stupid, the broken limb was a constant reminder of that. Like a lone warrior standing against an army, he was woefully unprepared. But that's just it. He wasn't going to do the fighting, at least not with this injury.

With blades slashing at him like he were in a meat packing plant, Infernape deftly dodged to the best of his ability. Bisharp was out for blood. Rage. That was what fueled him. However, his rage seemed to bear fruit. A misstep by Infernape and a blade dig itself into his rib cage. Infernape groaned in pain but recovered quickly, stomping Bisharp away, yet this was only a momentary reprieve. Bisharp caught up and his wrist blades turned blood red.

Ice rose from the dirt. It slammed into Bisharp's stomach and left him gasping. Lopunny jumped past Infernape,

"What are you doing, get back!" she said. Then Tyrantrum passed by him,

"She's right! We can handle it!" Gengar was the final one with a warning,

"Go!"

Running over to a nearby tree, Infernape snapped a branch off. He cut it down to size and then went to look for some rope. However, most people don't keep rope on their person. Infernape couldn't even find ties of the kinky variety.

"Goddamn it! Does no one here have fun?!"

He eventually settled with ripping off some sheets and making rope off of it. Using his tail as an extra hand, he tied the sheets of string into a rope and then made a splint for his arm.

That splint is a reminder, he couldn't get too careless. He wanted to see this battle through to the end. Infernape then looked up towards the fight that was quickly moved towards the streets. His feet exploded, releasing a trail of fire behind him.

Infernape then felt something go into his stomach. Losing control of himself, he landed on the harsh tile of a rooftop. Gengar then pulled himself out of Infernape stomach,

"No, nononononono. You are not going back out there. Not with that arm." He said. Infernape argued back,

"I'll be careful."

"That's what Gardevoir said before she fought the mayor in Stalagmiton. You're not going back out there." Gengar called out. Now irritated, Infernape countered with,

"I'm not just gonna sit here idle. Someone gave me a prediction and I'm going to go out swinging!"

"I don't give a fuck what crack addict who lives in bumfuck nowhere tells you, you are not fighting!" Gengar snapped.

"What do you care?!" Infernape yelled, "You ditched us!"

"I'M NOT LOSING YOU GUYS!" Gengar screamed. Infernape fell silent. It all made sense. He patted Gengar on the shoulder but the ghost swiped it away,

"Don't fucking touch me." he hissed.

"That's why you left…didn't you?" Infernape said softly. A faint giggle laughed out of Gengar's mouth, much to Infernape's surprise. Noticing this, Gengar spit out a joke,

"Pft, come on. If that big lug couldn't handle that, he can't handle being my partner."

Infernape frowned. Had he been blind? Of course Gengar cared. He wouldn't have come back if he didn't. But…something was wrong here. However, now was not the time for the inevitable emotional spiel that would start as soon as he opened his mouth. Infernape still had to console the ghost type, even if it had it be fairly short.

"Listen, Kage." He began, immediately snatching Gengar's attention, "The prediction was from Xatu." Gengar turned to Infernape,

"No, you are not listening to that bitch! Inf-Lee, she's the reason you desparately need therapy!" he argued

"I know, I know. Just hear me out." Infernape said, "She said that I would be dead once this was over. Regardless if that's true or not, I'm going out swinging." Insisted.

Gengar's mouth hung open for a moment. He scoffed to himself and muttered,

"Dumbass." Infernape responded with,

"Maybe, but I'd rather be called a dumbass than helpless." Gengar then jumped from the roof towards Darkrai and Bisharp. Infernape followed suit, flying towards the dark type.

Bisharp slashed at Lopunny, who jumped and weaved around his attacks. She grabbed his wrists and then kicked him. However, he quickly did a 180 and slammed into Lopunny's chest. She gasped as the wind was punched out of her. Aggron rushed to her aid but a dark beam pushed him into a house. The walls shattered around him, crumbling like sand.

Gritting her teeth, she jumped and kicked Bisharp across the cheek. He took the blow and grabbed her by the shin. He threw her over his shoulder, slamming her into the dirt. The bunny gasped in pain, wincing for a moment, once she opened her eyes, Bisharp had guillotine at the ready. She tried to freeze him but he was already slashing at her.

Bisharp was suddenly tackled. He stumbled away as someone repeatedly struck him in the head. Lopunny looked to see Infernape on top of Bisharp, stuck to him like glue. With Bisharp's head between his thighs, Infernape flipped, throwing Bisharp into a wall. He then activated Melting Point and chopped a street sign in half.

For Infernape, this simple street sign became a staff. He spun it around himself before thrusting it at Bisharp. Bisharp blocked the attack but Infernape was ready. He moved his hand up the pole, spun around and stabbed it again into the steel type's stomach. Infernape then shot a burst of fire into Bisharp, pushing him even further into the home.

Lopunny caught up with him and pinched the fire type's ear.

"OW! OWIE OWIE OWIE OW-HO-HO!"

"I told you to stay back!" Lopunny scolded harshly. She let go and Infernape rubbed the ear,

"I know, I know. Just…bear with me here." he eased, "and besides, I've been through worse." Lopunny glanced towards his splint. He did have a point, this wasn't even the first time his arm had been severely wounded. With great reluctance, Lopunny backtracked,

"Fine, but if you break any more bones, you're done." Infernape smiled at her,

"Aren't I supposed to be the one worried about you?"

"I'm not the one with a wood arm thingie."

"Splint." Infernape corrected.

"Splint."

"Stop being adorable and help!" Gengar yelled as he rushed past them. Infernape and Lopunny nodded to each other and burst towards the house.

All three of them walked into what looked like a kitchen. Pots and pans were strewn across the floor. Across the way, they could see the living room, a few toys, an Homeiview and a few potted plants. Gengar giggled to himself,

"Well these fuckers are boring, aren't they?"

"We aren't here for a NTV cribs special." Infernape pointed out.

The couch suddenly flinched itself towards them. With no time to prepare, Infernape and Lopunny were forced to the floor. Gengar activated his ghostly abilities and phased through the couch. He saw Bisharp sprinting towards them and grinned. He ran towards him and jumped clean through Bisharp. However, he grabbed him on the way down and pulled him to the floor. Bisharp's back cracked into the floor, but he was able to roll out of the way before Gengar stabbed him with ghostly blades.

The couch froze instantly. It shattered instantly and Lopunny leaped to her feet. She grabbed a nearby pot and threw it at Bisharp. The clang from the impact was comparable to the gunshots. Bisharp punched Gengar in the stomach and jumped towards the rabbit. A wall of ice then rose from the ground, just in time to absorb Bisharp's blade. It then broke apart, the debris transformed into razor sharp icicles, and stabbed at him. Some of them pierced through the skin.

Bisharp roared through the pain and pushed Lopunny into the counter. The marble dug into her spine, leaving her hissing. Bisharp opened a nearby cabinet and moved his prey's head to slam it. Seeing what was going to happen, Lopunny froze the blue fur on her ears and punched him with it. Some shards of ice ended up in his eyes, leaving him screaming.

Gengar swiped at Bisharp's feet. He fell to the floor as Infernape made his move. Gengar lifted Infernape over him, throwing him into the air. Infernape superheated his fist and punched at Bisharp, the heat burned Bisharp's metallic flesh. Bisharp then tightly clutched the Eclipse Gem. As he began to speak, all three of his opponents rushed him. With a roar, a pulse of darkness pushed all of them away.

"Heal me and finish them off!"

Darkrai teleported into the room. The god looked back, raising his hand as a bright green energy gently floated from his hand. However, he didn't make any attempt to stop Infernape from rushing towards Bisharp. Bisharp decided to finish off Lee once and for all. He unleashed a powerful beam of darkness at him, one that pushed Infernape through the house. The force sent him skidding across the town into a destroyed building. A sharp, piercing feeling erupted from his chest.

Infernape couldn't even process what had just occurred. There was a ton of noise yet he couldn't understand it. It was just a cluster of sounds pounding against his ears, yet there was no pain. The ground around him felt like it wasn't there, like he was floating in the air, slowly hovering in place.

Glancing down, Infernape saw what had happened but didn't really react. Like his brain had stopped caring. He felt oddly at peace. He understood what had happened but the impact of it hadn't struck him and probably never would.

He had been stabbed by an exposed stick of rebar.
