sword dragon and the phoenix -chapter 15 – prep and beasts
this chapter will cover episodes 7-9 of new / season 2
along with snippets of the saint beast arc of yuyu hakusho
as well as cover the set-up stories for the school festival and events around it
but I will get into that with the chapter
Yusuke pov
It was after the Excalibur incident was solved that life returned to normal and I got dragged to a movie with Keiko and Kuwabara, but we ended up meeting a few local middle school boys that looked strange and wanted to kill. Said boys acted like zombies but were easy to take out with my spirit shot gun attack. It wasn't long after that we met Boton and learned I had a new mission to enter a city at the edge of the yokai world and deal with four yokai criminals known as the saint beast that were trying to invade the human world.
My handler revealed they were planning to use yokai bugs to zombify normal humans that have yet to touch the Moonlit world. These beasts were planning to use the threat of zombies taking over to force the enma faction to free them of the city they were imprisoned within. Then Boton told us about the yokai faction and how peaceful yokai would live in peace with humans for the most part and were kept in check by various actions of the Enma faction.
After that she told me, I would be joined by others to help take down the beasts and Kuwabara decided to join the team. I soon found out said other members were Hiei and Kurama. After that, I reported to Ravel about my mission and she said, "try and convince your others two team mates to comes to Kou, and don't worry about your girlfriend, mother or Kuwabara's sister and friends." After that I pressed the blue haired Shinigami, and she said "Koenma hired the rest of your peerage for an extraction mission. That's the most he could afford to have them do and keep your contract up. they threw in keeping as many people as possible alive and subduing the zombified for free."
It was after that we met the team and battled through the city and into the castle as Boton said to the two of us, "times passes much slower in the castle prison city than in the outside world try to clean up this mess as quickly as possible."
It was then I met my friends, and we battled through the city and to the castle. But inside the castle we had to battle through the first trap but with Hiei's speed we were able to pass with no problem. After that we met the first beast and stone turtle yokai and Kurama revealed his control over plants and flowers to win and after his victory I offered him entry to Kou and he said to me "I will deal with your devil master personally, I would like to make my own terms to them if I choose to transfer." Then Hiei said "I don't make deals with devils; all I want to return to the yokai world."
After that came Kuwabara's battle and he showed me how Shirou's training helped him barely defeat the tiger among the saint beasts after a hard battle. then came Hiei against a ice using demi-dragon yokai but Hiei's knowledge of ice magic and high speed sword moves helped him defeat the dragon with ease as he said "these wimps have little chance of replacing the four guardian beasts at this level."
After that I faced the leader of the beasts Suzaku and after tapping into some of my devil magic, and using promotion, I was barely able to win and destroy the flute that controlled the insects and the zombie horde. It took me a day of sleep to recover and when I woke up Ravel told me, "Kurama aka Shuichi Minamino agreed to transfer to Kou and his terms weren't that expensive. He won't join my peerage outright but is willing to do whatever is needed for the greater good of this world. he also asked me for plant samples only the other factions could get."
I soon learned from my new classmate, Ajuka Beelzebub, one of the four devil leaders was more that willing to support Kurama and even gave him a special research greenhouse in the back of Kou that people outside the moonlit world would avoid. Kurama and the devil leader would meet when they both had time to exchange ideas.
Issei pov
It was a few days after my recent battle with the fallen angel and I noticed a strange greenhouse behind the club room and had the feeling I should ask Rias about it before I touched the door. Then after speaking to my devil master, she said "you were right to leave it alone, that greenhouse in the property of the inventor of the evil piece system and the only person allowed to enter besides him is Shuichi Minamino. My brother told me the boy breeds all kinds of dangerous plants for his friend." I just replied, "so one of the recent middle school transfers is a mad scientist good to know."
It was the night after that, I learned my client was current leader of the fallen angels and told me he hired the white dragon to help me. then he asked me about the platinum dragon, and I just told him, "Shirou Emiya is a mystery to most of the devils, Ddraig barely understands him or his dragon, and neither of us know what he can do or the limits of his power." After that he told me he and the leaders of the angels and devils were working on a peace treaty very soon.
Then he said, "I hope at our peace summit I get to learn more about this strange platinum dragon." He then asked me "can you tell me about that strange greenhouse behind the school it intrigues me just as much." But I replied, "I don't think I am supposed to say anything about that, I would recommend asking at this peace summit." He replied, "very well I can ask then."
The next day I told Rias about the fallen leader, and she praised me for not revealing anything about the greenhouse and then she promised to keep me safe. After that, I learned from Rias that our club had to clean the pool to prepare it for the coming summer. But it was as I changed in my swimsuit, I saw my arm changing and learned Akeno would have to drain the dragon energy from it.
After that, I had to teach Koneko to swim as I got to see the well-developed bodies of the fellow peerage members. I also seemed to start to win over the cat girl a little by helping her. After that, I had to help the girls with sunscreen as Akeno started to come after me more. that soon lead to a verbal spare. Then after that Xenobia came on to me and nearly came after me asking for a baby and then revealed, "I don't want to be left out of since the Campion, the fairy of paradise and Ravel are all pregnant." I then asked, "who's fathers?" she replied "it's Shirou Emiya and he denied my request and so did his large elf friend. So I had to try you."
It wasn't long after that, in the club room, we were greeted by Rias' brother as he said "it is interesting that the platinum dragon has some many children coming. Don't worry they will stay do home school when they each start showing." After that, the new pieces of the peerage talked to him, and he revealed about the coming summit and open house.
I also learned that the devil king would be staying at my house and in my room. while he was in my room, I first asked about the greenhouse and he said, "part of the deal to bring the former fox yokai Kurama to the school was to provide him a lap to grow his plants and co-devil leader is also into experimentation so the two agreed to work together on growing strange plants to aid both Kurama and the devils as a whole." After that I asked about the leader of the fallen and my future brother-in-law revealed, "he is mostly peaceful, so don't worry much about him."
It was the next day at school, and I came face to face with the holder of the white dragon and he said to me "what do you know about the platinum dragon, and how I can't seem to get near to him." I just said, "I think Merlin is involved but that's all I know." He replied, "that meddling wizard, would do something like that." Then he introduced himself as Vali the vanishing dragon. Then he told me how weak I was compared to him and the holder of the platinum dragon and how he wanted to see what Shirou Emiya could do and how powerful Shirou really was. I think the introduction of third dragon into the mix was intriguing all sides of this conflict.
Before leaving he told me "I don't want to fight now, but Gaia is stirring, and it seems the Egyptian gods will be free to wonder the earth again soon. I wouldn't be shocked in the giants of the nine realms will be beginning to stir again soon with Thor's hammer stole yet again. So, you don't have long to gain more power before everything comes to pass.
It was after that, Ddraig told me about how the war between the angels and devils came fight and how the two dragons of creation were stirred by the battle and destroyed each other to be sealed within sacred gears and told me at some point the war between the two dragons were waged in England as Vortigern and Arthur both used their power to clash over the fate of the British isles.
It was after that, I stopped by class and soon stopped to see Rias and showed her I was okay. Then once school ended, I ended up taking a bath with Rias and Asia, but I didn't have the courage to pull the trigger and have sex with either of the girls. But I soon learned both girls wanted to fight over me and soon enough the overstimulation made me pass out and I wondered how Shirou managed to do so much more that I could.
Then at school, I figured I could use my magic to make a clay copy of Rias. It was soon I heard about a magical girl in the auditorium, and it wasn't long until I learned said magical girl was Sona's sister and another of the devil kings. She soon met me and asked about Shirou Emiya but the boy busy dealing with other problems. Rias said "I heard Ravel was dealing with a human gangster that stole some phoenix tears and kidnaped a yuki-onna.
After school, I met Rias' parents and then her brother revealed Rias was strongest enough to release and control the power of her second bishop.
Shirou pov
It wasn't long after one problem was solved that Merlin contacted my group over another issue, a human gangster after magical goods. The team of Halsin, and the Artoria twins, Hakufu and I would deal with reclaiming the goods said gangster was holding while Yusuke would deal with another item said man had taken, a Yuki-onna that had wondered too close to his area and could cry valuable gems. Ravel and Artoria Avalon would be off the mission due to their pregnancies and provide support.
After several long battles. we completed the mission and Hiei owed me a favor in the future. Said favor came in the form of the yokai girl being protected by my peerage and going to school with Yusuke and his other friends.
Issei pov
When I asked about how the sealed student completes contacts, Rias said "he mostly does online requests and is a huge fan Astolfo. So be prepared for what you see." We came in to find a coffin with a person in a girls uniform that Rias reminded me of was a boy. Rias then revealed said servant is her bishop and a half vampire. We had to bring him out of his sealed room as I learned, the boy clearly had a time control ability. His name was Gasper and had a time-based sacred gear he couldn't fully control.
Rias left everyone but Kiba to try and help Gasper control his sacred gear. Xenobia started the training, and I asked her about Astolfo, and she replied "he was a really lucky idiot that would score with lots of girls and in at least one-story cross dressed. The paladin would pick up magical weapons but wasn't the best at using them." Xenobia ran around and trained the boy until Azazel came in and offered help by saying the best way to help my new peerage mate was to let him drink my blood.
After that I asked about Shirou and his sacred gear but the fallen said "I haven't been able to completely figure it out yet, but my only clue is the evil dragon Bahamut vanished from all but my magical records, If I didn't have a special sealed records wrote down it would be like it never existed. I had said records sealed about seventeen years ago, a little before the Olympic games." Asia then asked, "what do the Olympic games have to do with this?" the fallen replied "it's the number one-time gods hook up with and either get pregnant with mortal children or knock up mortals. It means Shirou is likely a demigod and connected to the vanishing of the evil dragon, but I need more information. I hope the talks between the faction leaders will give me said information."
The training went on with no progress and I knew I needed a way to help the boy. I needed to figure out a way to help him as much as possible, but I started to figure out through my training the boy would need a big push to help him gain control. But I had seemed to make major progress and would try to get Shirou's cousins and Halsin to help the boy as soon as they were free to do so. But after little progress, I soon had to go to a shrine with Akeno and there I was greeted by the leader of the angel faction Michael.

Next chapter will bring all the forces together to help with the meeting and are forced to show off all they have
But first Rudy will have a reunion that changes the path of the story forever
