Of Course, Gojira was happy to be in the sea. He fully submerged himself in the waters and Swam as Deep as Possible, to the Bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. No Human had laid eyes on this specific bit of the seafloor, and yet here Gojira was, even easier than a Child Diving to the Bottom of the Pool. He seemed to have also evolved Gills at some point, but he never noticed the adaptation until now. He felt so much calmer now, perhaps it was the Hydrogen being pumped into his bloodstream and to his internal nuclear reaction, but Gojira was enjoying every bit of the sea.

His senses seemed enhanced here too, because he could sense the nearest Monster to him, Kamoebas, a Large Turtle-Like Creature that also burned through its Mutagen quickly. He could sense it, and although he didn't mind the fact that Kamoebas was in the Same Gulf, what he did mind was that Kamoebas was swimming towards him very quickly. Gojira stopped swimming, simply levitating in the water, he flicked his tail around, looking at the direction Kamoebas was coming from. Gojira instinctively ducked as Kamoebas rushed past him, his jaws clamping shut on water instead of Gojiras flesh.

Unlike Gojira, Kamoebas was very much an aggressive Monster. He had an unusually strong hunting instinct, and was completely carnivorous. Even if he didn't need meat, he was still drawn to it, and Gojira was the largest chunk of meat. The Turtle kaiju turned, bearing Unnaturally sharp Teeth. Gojira growled, he flashed his Spines an Orange color as an Intimidation display, which lit the surrounding water up. Kamoebas charged, quickly approaching him and attempting Gojiras arm, but Gojira dodged him and swiped his head with his tail. Kamoebas swam back around, trying to use the claws on his fins to swipe at his Eye, Gojira just barely managed to avoid them, Gojira clawed the Turtles chest as it zoomed by, and blood filled the water. Kamoebas screeched, and he quickly swam back towards Gojira. With his dorsals already glowing, Gojira decided to fire at Kamoebas, the Orange Beam was fired at the Turtle-Like Monster, but when it hit the shell it just deflected, then the vaporized area of water imploded and they both were sent back.
On the Surface of the water, a Small Fishing boat was trying to trawl up some fish when the Implosion effects reached the surface, the old hull broke in several places as it was lifted up out of the water and as it crashed down it quickly began to take on water and list. As the fishermen scrambled to the liftrafts they watched the 2 Monsters surface, locked in battle, then as they descended back down they threw up a massive wave that which capsized the sinking ship and caused more damage, as it sank Gojira felt the Turtle Bite into the sides, he roared, the vibrations shaking the water as he bit into the Turtles flippers and tossed it out of the water hundreds of meters away. Gojira was angry now, and he would punish the creature for attacking him. The Turtle had landed on the beaches of Galveston, and as it got up Gojira stormed out of the water. Onlookers screamed at the sight, the beachgoers ran away as Gojira, with tons of seawater pouring off of him, sprinted towards the offending Kaiju, Kamoebas got up but did not get away in time as Gojira grabbed one of his flippers and tossed him through a nearby Hotel, taking part of it off. Gojira ran straight through the center of the building, crashing through it and sprinting straight at Kamoebas who had landed in a street filled with brick stores. Kamoebas, getting back on his feet in time, did something Gojira did not expect. He fired some type of Energy-Ball at him, which caught the air around it on fire. Gojira managed to dodge it as it impacted near him and exploded, he felt some of it on him, but it didn't cause damage.

Kamoebas now charged, catching Gojira while he was assessing Kamoebas energy weapon, Ramming Gojira and pushing him into a Grocery Center, Gojira was thrown into the building practically and it collapsed under his weight. He got up, but was shoved again into a nearby building, and as it crumbled on top of him his Dorsal plates began to light up, he fired off a Beam at Kamoebas, this time catching his flipper-like leg, Kamoebas let out a screech and backed off, flailing around as it struck, Kamoebas quickly fell onto the ground and used his Shell as Protection against the blast. Gojira increased the energy of the Beam, the The Beam turned to its Tan-Yellow color and the Shell began to glow itself.

What followed next was not what Gojira expected.

One of the turtles previous adaptations was developing an additional use for the shell, as the heat poured onto it the energy was partially absorbed into the turtle, and moments later the Turtle produced what could only be described as a 'pulse' of nuclear energy, the resulting explosion threw Gojira back and into a Nearby Cruise ship in a Dock, when he collided he broke through the decks of the Small Cruise ship, nearly capsizing it and destroying the upper decks. He skidded across the water as he landed on a Tugboat, he dug his foot into the tugboat, which sank under his weight. He growled, he charged up his Dorsal Spines and Swam at the approaching Turtle, who was also charging at him. Gojira, narrowing his eyes, fired a Orange Beam at the Monster's face, The Turtle lowered itself, making sure the beam struck its Shell, it shot another fireball at Gojira, he dodged it and it hit a Crane in the dock, and it blew apart in the explosion. Gojira kept up the beam, pouring on more power as Kamoebas roared, the turtle retracted into his shell, and Gojira stepped back and let the now Yellow Beam do its work.

Then came the next Pulse, but Gojira was ready this time, he quickly ran and jumped into a Deeper part of the water just before the Kamoebas performed the attack, the resulting Pulse quickly expanding, the tugboat, sinking, was washed away, as was the nearby dock, the Cruise ship was pushed along with the wave and was slammed into its berth, the ships metal breaking as it too began to sink. Gojira felt the water around him boil, and once the attack was done he looked at the Giant Turtle, who stared with a Deadly gaze. He could tell the monster was not backing down, and that Kamoebas would only stop once taught a lesson. Gojira lit up his dorsal plates with a Red color, intending to intimidate the Turtle Kaiju. Kamoebas roared, running at him as Gojira charged his Beam, he knew Kamoebas would ignore it and use his Shell, so Gojira had a different approach in Mind. As Kamoebas approached, Gojira fired his Atomic Breath, slashing the water between them with his beam, the resulting steam produced rose into the air and acted like a wall between them, obscuring their vision. Kamoebas paused, uncertain, Gojira quickly charged through and bit the Turtle by his Flippers, using his sheer strength and his jaw to lift him up. It took him using all his atomic strength to pull it off, but he slammed the Turtle down into the water and began to claw at his belly. Gojiras Strong claws made work on the chest, blood entered the water as Gojira relentlessly sliced up the Turtles weakpoints, Kamoebas roared, firing an Energy attack at Gojira that struck his sides. Gojira roared in pain as he was thrown back. Kamoebas got up, the Turtle charging again. Gojira was caught off guard and pushed into a Nearby Dock, his Dorsals Dug into a Small Cargo ship, and Kamoebas pushed him straight clean through the ship, splitting it into 2 halves that quickly began to sink. Gojira was thrown up onto the Dock, his body flung through a Crane and striking a Warehouse. Gojira tried to get up, but the turtle stomped on him.

Was this how it was going to end? Was Gojira going to lose his first fight with another monster? Was Gojira going to die? He didn't want to die. The Turtle was now eyeing up his body, it wanted to devour him like a Carnivore, and at once Gojira called upon an Adaptation he had made but never used. As the Turtle prepared to rip his arm off and eat it, he noticed Gojiras dorsal plates were lighting up, not flashing, but lighting up, he watched as they glowed a Yellowish-Light before Gojira let off his own Pulse, the resulting White Fireball melted nearby buildings and burned others within half a mile from him. Kamoebas was flung back so far he cleared the dockwaters and landed back on Galveston, crushing more shops of the historical center of the town. Gojira got up, looking at the Turtle. Wafts of smoke were arising from the city, consequences of the battle of the giant monsters. Kamoebas was getting up, and Gojira looked at the other monster, whose body was scarred and had massive scorch and clawmarks across it. Gojira knew the fight was over, they had both done some real damage to eachother, both were tired and both knew fighting would lead to both of them dying. Kamoebas snorted, and finally gave up, heading back to sea by walking across the city of Galveston, Gojira watched as the Turtle Swam Away, disappearing to return to Tropical Mexico.

Gojira remained there for a moment, before he too walked into the water. He would Swim far away from the Gulf, and from there? Gojira would probably swim to some Tropical Island in the Pacific, he had a feeling he would find something there.

So Gojiras Dorsal Plates vanished beneath the sea, The Rows of Spines sliding under the waves as would those of a Shark, and as he did, the World breathed a Sigh of Relief, but the events of today, and yesterday, were only the start of the Rise of Monsters.

Of Course, Oklahoma city wasn't much better off than Dallas, it too had suffered the Rampage and Wrath of Gojira, and among the torched ruins lay countless dying survivors, EMS desperately tried to find them, and in more isolated areas fires were spreading, smoke being the distinguishing feature nearby. On one street, EMS was putting out a Fire in a Apartment building. The fire had spread through the collapsing building and as they tried to extinguish it part of it collapsed, sending up dust and smoke.

"I think we need another Engine here." One of the Firefighters said, and one of the others nodded.

"I know, but EMS is already locked down in other parts of the city, whole things a Mess." The Other Firefighter said.

The Other Firefighters could do nothing but nod, they had nothing to say to counter. Gojira did a great deal of Damage to the city, and fires still burned throughout it. As they hosed it down they heard a strange noise, it sounded almost like a Tapping sound. One of them turned, trying to find the source of the noise.

"Hey-Losing pressure on the Hose." One of the firefighters said, The Firefighter who was supposed to be keeping watch listened, and soon they all heard the noise. They heard a Siren, one of a Police Car, and as they listened they heard a Banging, then a Crashing noise as the Siren Abruptly stopped. Then they watched the Remains of the Police Car flip into view, the entire vehicle looking like it had been wrecked multiple times. One of the firefighters gasped as the Vehicle exploded, sending sparks and showers of flame into the air.

Then they heard another noise, like a Sick, Intense Growling. They all looked where the car came from, and one of them screamed the name of Gojira. The Creature that had emerged was roughly T-Rex sized, but with Longer arms and Small Dorsal Spikes. It was like another Gojira but smaller, and was shaped a bit more like a Raptor. They still thought of it the same way they thought of Gojira, of course, and they all screamed and tried to get back onto their little fire engine. The Creature charged, trying to bite at them, the Fire Engine took off, accelerating town the debris filled road. The Creature jumped clear over a Burnt Bus and Over collapsed Debris from an Office Building Before landing back on the ground. As it closed the Distance Between the Truck and itself one of the firemen called a Government Office Number set up for sightings of these monsters. Once the Number was dialed, the response from the other side was 'Hello, are you here to report another sighting?-"
"IT'S COMING AFTER US!" One of the firemen said into the phone. The Monster got closer, leaping onto the air.

The Phone got cut out for a moment, and all that came across was "-JIRA-" Before the Fire Engine was destroyed by the Monster. That's how it would come to be known, Jira, a False Pretender of a Greater Animal. Of course, it would be a time before people began actually referring to Her as 'Jira' but undoubtedly it would happen, Jira turned onto a more intact street, the Smaller Kaiju stepping over a burnt out car and crumpling it. Jira, looking up, could see a Helicopter suddenly turn and shine a Light towards her. Jira quickly ran into a Debris Filled Alley that was sheltered between 2 buildings, the Light from the Helicopter could not follow her here.

Pretty quickly, the sound of Sirens followed. Jira could see nothing of the cars until they reached the alley and a Swat team surrounded her. Jira had no proper Beam and couldn't just adapt further. Jira would have to get out of this situation with nothing but bare claws and intellect.

So, Jira sprinted through the alley, quickly running past the Swat Team and toppling over one of their armored Vehicles. Jira then proceeded down the road, the lower caliber weapons they had did little to her, rather despite being much weaker than Gojira she was still strong enough to withstand the lighter gunfire rather easily. As she turned a Corner she sprinted into another Fire engine fighting a Larger fire within an office building, the resulting collision caused the entire front of the vehicle to crumple and for her to trip and skid into one of the more intact buildings. As she got up she noticed that she could hear the encroaching police vehicles, and she watched as they turned the corner seconds behind her. She got up and ran as Machine Gun Fire sprayed her, although that did not do much either. Jira quickly used her claws to grab onto a nearby office building which had its windows blown out and began to scale it. They fired their guns and she growled, quickly climbing to the top of the building and grabbing a Small Communications Tower with her Jaws, she tore it off and then hovered it over the edge then dropped it, where it fell and impaled the Swat Vehicles, they stopped shooting and quickly scrambled away, probably to get more help to deal with her. Once they were gone, Jira quickly scrambled back down the building, landing with a Thud where she ran through a alleyway out onto an intersection, she stepped over a Burned-Out Bus, which had been destroyed by Gojiras rampage. The Already damaged and scorched frame crumpled under his weight, the roof collapsing into itself.

Jira looked down at the Bus, the Seats had been reduced to frames and the roof was splayed across it. She stepped out of it and continued away from the City Center, heading East. She didn't have much of a reason to head in that particular direction, but she did anyway. She clambered over a Destroyed Section of Cars, which had been destroyed during a Red Light by Gojira. As she stepped over them Jira noticed something, Gojiras footprints, which had been engraved into the Pavement and Asphalt of the Streets of Oklahoma City. She looked at it, Curiously, she could see that the buildings here had been destroyed, burned out buildings, collapsed buildings and damaged ones surrounded her, and she continued walking. She walked past what remained of another office building, which too had been destroyed by Gojira, the Beam he had must have destabilized and melted part of the building. Parts of it lay scattered around her, and she walked past a Lamppost, which too had been destroyed and lay bent and useless ontop of a Pickup truck.

Jira looked at the Sky, the Blue of it was filled with Clouds. Some of these were smoke from the still burning fires, and as she looked she saw a Helicopter approach her. This was a Small Blackhawk Chopper, which began spraying her with gunfire, Jira Growled, running up the remains of a building, gathering momentum before jumping at the helicopter, grabbing ahold of the Frame with her jaws, the Helicopter buckled under her weight and quickly was dragged down, she let go, flinging it into another building, the rotors slicing into the concrete before the craft exploded. Jira roared, turning away as the already damaged building collapsed in a fit of rubble and dust. Jira ran through the streets, quickly trying to leave the center behind. Once she reached the more intact areas she had more encounters with humans. Jira saw several armored Vehicles approaching her, this fired their guns and actually did some damage, the sting of the guns caused her to run up and grab the Gun of one of the APCS, she twisted the barrel and tore the entire turret clear off its Hinge, before slamming it into the ground, she overturned the Vehicle using her arms and some effort, she bit down on one of the soldiers who was trying to escape and then grabbed the vehicle with her jaws, she tossed it towards the other Apc, the collision dented both of them and she ran toward them, quickly pushing on against the wall and hearing a crack as the Metal frame of the vehicle broke She turned to the less Damaged APC, which now began driving away, she ran after it, using her head to push it off course and causing it to spin out and crash into a small building, she quickly grabbed one of the support structures with her jaws and pulled, and the building shook, she pulled harder, her teeth strained and she managed to rip part of the frame out. The Building collapsed on top of the APC, and she quickly ran away as it Exploded. She ran ontop of a Intact car, the cabin folding and crumpling into itself, Jira proceeded to the edge of the city over the course of the next half hour when she came to a Metal Girder that separated the City from the Woodlands beyond, she could see a forest, and beyond that Jira could see fields. She ran over the girder and proceeded into the woods.

Jira, now out of the city, could finally locate a Pond. The Treetops were just tall enough to cover her, obscuring her somewhat from the outside world. She drank from the Pond, and managed to Catch a Fish from it. She then proceeded to swim to the other side of the pond, wiggling herself dry once on the other side. Jira then proceeded to continue through the woods, managing to find an abandoned trail, which she ignored. After a bit she came to a field, filled with tall stalks of crops and high grass. She walked through it, stepping on the small plants as she made her way across it. She came to a Farmhouse eventually, and looked curiously at the Barn, which was marked with Bright colors. She bit the Wood and Metal frame, and tearing it out watched it collapse. She heard yelling from the Farmhouse, and a Human ran out, holding a Gun, then as soon as it saw her it quickly screamed and ran back in. She paid it no mind, although she did step ontop of its Car on the Way out. She proceeded down a Rural road, scaring away a Man riding a Motorcycle, and after a bit she came to a Small Town area at an Intersection, the onlookers, already spooked after what happened in Oklahoma City, Screamed at the sight of Jira, she roared at them, stepping ontop of a Truck and crushing it before proceeding to run through the streets, her body clipped a Fence on the way out, and enraged she tore it out of the ground and flung the metal structure at the nearby storefronts, watching as it dented the bricks. She looked at the stores, and watched as one of the shop owners pointed a Long-Barrelled gun at her. Although it did nothing, she was angry at the being and charged it, it closed the window and ran back inside, and she grabbed onto the Second story with her teeth and began to pull out the bricks. After a moment the Structure destabilized and the store collapsed. She roared, putting her foot on the collapsing structure as a Long Banner reading 'HAPPY HARVEST DAY' fluttered down to the ground. She quickly walked past the town, further onto the rural roads and hopefully into the wilderness to nest.

Packards plane landed at Washington Airport around the same time, its brakes screeching across the ground. Packard would then be escorted off the plane, and into an Armored Car, which would drive through the U.S Capital. On the Way, Packard was informed of the reason the President wanted to see him. Given Packard had been one of the biggest hands in getting Project Mutagen funded, he now viewed Mutagen as Packards Fault, although in reality it was much more complicated than that. Packard, now having to deal with the fact the President of the United States of America was onto him for no reason, was put under a great deal of stress. As the Car pulled into the Whitehouse, Packard had his hands to his head.

Packard, then escorted into the building, was forced to shake the hands of a great deal of people, such as the vice president and Secretary of Defense. He was then brought to the oval Office, and sat down in front of the President's Desk.

The President, in his seat, spun it around to face him. President H.C Poltergeist of Montana, infact, had been a Senator of his state before becoming president, he was an elderly man, in his early 70s. Poltergeist was, interestingly enough, also the Man who had completely tossed out any corporate regulations when it came to the space sector. That hadn't been the worst thing, but he was sure it would backfire eventually. Poltergeist was already the least popular president in U.S History and wouldn't win re-election, that was for sure.

"Mr Packard." The President said.

" ." Packard said back.

"I understand that you are to blame for this entire charade?" The President asked.

"No Sir." Packard said, "I was not the only general who recommended the Project to be funded, nor was I the only to cancel it, and the degradation of the Barrels is to cause. Had this project not been canceled I can assure you Gojira would never have been created." Packard said, although no one could really be sure what would have happened had Mutagen never been canceled, perhaps it could have been much worse, but it was just as possible it could have gone much better.

"I see." The President said.

"Either way, I can assure you our time is being wasted here." Packard said. "I have a proposal to fix all this to put forward to the congress, if we can get some funding we might be able to stop these things-"

"And how would you do that?" Poltergeist asked.

"Well, one of Mutagens devices originally would have been an Anti-Oxygen Bomb, they described it as an 'Oxygen Destroyer'. They think the mass Destruction of Oxygen with Gojiras cells could occur if it were to be detonated on Gojira." Packard said, "In Theory, it should kill him."

"In theory?" Poltergeist said, "Mr Packard, are you betting the lives of Thousands in a Theory with no proven worth, and perhaps the fate of our nation, on the ones who caused the mess in the first place?" Poltergeist began to rant. "Mr Packard, may I remind you that the death toll from these Attacks is already at 32,000 with perhaps as many as 50,000 missing? I think we should both consider that this 'Oxygen Destroyer' may not be up to our standards."

"Mr President, I can assure you that the idea is possible, and can work, there is no other option." Packard told him.

The president sighed.

"Well, we already got another team of people working on an alternate solution, I suppose this could work." Poltergeist said.

"Wait- another team?" Packard asked.

"Well, we got a Joint Proposal from Boston Dynamics, Lockeed Martin and SpaceX. I believe they called it 'Mecha-Gojira'..."
