It was a lazy Saturday afternoon at the dorms, and Todoroki was working on one of her latest paintings. She didn't really have any epic art projects planned, but she just wanted something to fill in the time. Then, she heard knocking on her door.

"I'm coming!"

Todoroki put down her art supplies to see who was at the door, and of course…

"Good to see you, Deku!"

Todoroki gave Deku her usual hug and kiss.

"So, what brought you here today, my cute green bean?"

"So, I found this cool arcade not too far from here, and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me."

Todoroki smiled. "Of course! Just let me put my art stuff away first…"

The arcade that Deku took Todoroki too was called Daiki's Arcade, located only three blocks from UA. It was filled with classic arcade games from the 70s, 80s and 90s, plus table games such as air hockey, and for a flat fee of 500 yen – 1,000 yen on Fridays and Saturdays – one could play all the games they want as much as they wanted for free. The interior was decorated with some neon lighting and a couple of disco balls, and the soundtrack was playing a mix of 70s/80s disco, 80s synthpop and new wave, 70s/80s rock and metal and 80s city pop, the current selection being "Rhythm of the Night" by DeBarge. After they paid their entry fees, Deku and Todoroki looked around for a game to play. Soon enough, Todoroki settled on Galaga.

"Wanna play a two-player game with me?" asked Todoroki.

"Sure!"

Todoroki fired the game up. Galaga had an alternating two-player mode where if a player died or completed a level, the other player would get a turn. Todoroki went first and not only managed to complete the first wave, but even got a second ship for added firepower. Deku was no slouch either, and he managed to match Todoroki's efforts. However, by the time the game was over, Todoroki had only managed 6090 points compared to Deku's 19930.

"What!? How did you beat me, Deku!?"

Deku smiled. "This is one of my favorite arcade games; I know plenty of tricks!"

Todoroki smiled. "Oh, do you? Then let's play again!"

"You're on!"

Todoroki and Deku went again. This time, Todoroki managed 15280 points versus Deku's 11200. Todoroki smirked.

"You were saying…?"

Deku smiled. "OK, then if you're so confident, let's see if you can get best two out of three!"

"You're on!"

Todoroki and Deku went for broke. Todoroki got it, at 19960 points, whereas Deku only got 5390.

"Not bad, Shoko. Not sure how you managed to beat me twice, but I think it's great that girls can be into video games, too."

Todoroki smiled. "Thank you, Deku. Play something different?"

"OK!"

Todoroki and Deku looked around the arcade. They eventually settled on Time Crisis.

"Game on!" said Todoroki.

Todoroki and Deku each grabbed a light gun, and they proceeded to blast random terrorists. They were definitely coming back here again.

Criticism is gold. Negativity and nitpicking are pyrite.
