A Double Twisted Nightmare Chapter 5
A couple of days after the party, S.T.A.R.S becomes surprised when Chris tells them he is going on vacation for a few weeks.
"Vacation? Chris you can't be serious! The cannibal killings are getting more out of control, so we're quite possibly going to be deployed to take care of it and your leaving?" Enrico was not impressed.
"I know it's sudden, but I want to spend more time with Claire before she goes back to school. We're planning to go to Miami for the rest of her holiday." Chris says with a smile, but his eyes hold no excitement.
This was part of a plan, so he could be with his sister more, but they were going to be taken to Alex's private island until it was time for Wesker siblings to sever ties with Umbrella and to make sure that they won't try to tell the others about what happened at the night of the party.
"Yeah, but as Enrico said this is a bad time to go on vacation. Can't it wait until after the killings are resolved?" Joseph asked.
"The captain has given his approval, I know I'm being selfish right now, but please understand. I want to spend more time with my family." Chris tells them once more.
"All right everyone that's enough. It's fine that Chris is going, Chief Irons believes that the detectives will have a lead soon as to who is behind the killings and gave permission for Chris's leave." Wesker said.
'Right, gave permission after you gave him more bribes and threated him.' were Chris's thoughts, he had been there yesterday when Wesker talked to Irons in his office.
"Enrico is right about one thing, should the killings get worse and with possible deployment of the S.T.A.R.S teams, I talked to Irons about getting a replacement until Chris returns and she'll be here soon." Wesker informs everyone.
Everyone is surprised again, for it was quite short notice and that someone had been found quickly.
"She?" Forest asked. "Yes, the person taking over as point man is a woman and she is to treated with respect." Wesker says in a stern voice, one that won't tolerate disobedience.
Chris can acknowledge this one thing and that is he would be in the same boat as Wesker when it came to his sister.
"Chris come to my office so we can patch up some paperwork before you leave for your flight." Wesker said and Chris followed him into the office.
The door shuts, "What is it Wesker?" Chris asks him. Chris already did all the paperwork needed to go on vacation, so it was obvious that Wesker wanted to talk to him.
"Don't be rude Christopher, I am to be your brother in law as well as your lover. I just wanted to remind you that you cannot tell anyone what is going to happen and that you won't be contacting them again once you leave for Alex's place." Wesker tells him.
Chris clenches his hands, he hated the fact that Wesker was holding the possibility of Alex having his child over his head to keep him in check.
"I know that, but does that mean Alex has to be put in danger? She is to marry me and possibly have conceived my child, yet she is joining S.T.A.R.S? And I hate the fact that you and her will have Alpha and Bravo killed once you get the combat data, so excuse me for feeling guilty." Chris said upset.
"They are a necessary sacrifice to help us achieve what we want: broken ties with Umbrella. Once me and Alex break the chains neither you, Claire nor our children will be in danger. As for Alex, she had the same training as I did, so give her some credit. Though she doesn't use it regularly, she is no push over when it comes to dangerous situations. We also have the best medical equipment on hand so we'll test her in a couple of weeks to find out for sure if she is with child and Claire will do the same. Should Alex be pregnant she will leave for your location, if not she will stay here and help collect combat data, as well as take the virus." Wesker tells Chris.
"Must you two do that to yourselves? I mean, even with that stuff I doubt you either of you will become a god and what if it kills you?" Chris knew that if the Wesker siblings die he and Claire would be free, but he didn't want that under the circumstances, considering the chances Claire might be pregnant and what would happen to them.
"In theory it should help us ascend and Alex would be cured of her condition. You are right to be concerned though, it hasn't been tested enough to prove anything but we must take this opportunity while we have the chance." Wesker explains. Chris wasn't happy but accepted the explanation.
"Come here Christopher." Wesker said and Chris gets close to Wesker, who grabs him by the waist and pulls him flush against him.
"W-Wesker wait!" Chris surprised by his actions.
"Come now, you will have to get used to it sooner or later." Wesker said leaning foreword and putting his lips on Chris's. Chris tenses a bit, for he never kissed another man before, but relaxes and opens his mouth to allow Wesker's tongue in. As always, Wesker leads with confidence in battle, they battle it out with their appendages but Wesker wins it and then grabs his ass.
"Wesker!" Chris almost yells. 'We can't go too far! Someone will notice!' Chris thinks. "Relax, this is as far as I go this time. We have no time to truly know one another in intimacy." Wesker said, he was still squeezing Chris's butt. Chris gasped in surprise and pleasure, then Wesker lets him go.
"Go back to your desk and finish clearing out what it is you want to take with you." Wesker said before going to his desk.
Chris sighs in relief before leaving Wesker's office and went to his desk to figure out what he wanted to take and what had to stay to keep the ruse.
Jill and Barry came over to him, "Chris are you sure about this? It's not like you to bail on action." Barry said.
"I got lucky that both the captain and chief said yes to my vacation, I'm sure that if they felt like it wouldn't do they would have said no." Chris said, sticking to the story.
"I mean Barry, wouldn't you rather spend time with your family than chasing after killers given the chance?" Chris asks Barry.
"Well yes but ... if the public were safer, it would mean my family gets to be safer as well. So I wouldn't mind staying." Barry said.
'Their not making this easy.' were Chris's thoughts, but these two knew him well so they had every right to be suspicious about his actions.
"Chris are you sure nothing is bothering you?" the question came from Jill.
'Yeah there is, Wesker gonna take you all up to the mountains, have you fight some monsters, and kill you just to get data.' Chris's thoughts on what the problem is, but of course he doesn't say that aloud.
"I assure you guys that spending time with Claire is what's been on my mind, we don't see each other too often after all." Chris said.
"Then why can't it wait until after culprits have been arrested? I mean Claire would understand if you have to take care of things." Jill points out.
'Oh Jill, why must you be so observant?' Chris thinks. He wanted more than anything to tell the others what sinister plans their captain and his sister had in store for S.T.A.R.S, but that would be breaking the deal that was made.
Jill watches as conflicting emotions go across Chris's face and places her hand on his shoulder, causing Chris to look at her, 'Jill...if only I had gotten off my ass and asked you out.' Chris thinks as he stares at her.
"Chris..." Jill started to say when the door opened and a blonde woman came in and fixated a stare at Chris and Jill.
"Good morning everyone, I am looking for Captain Albert Wesker. Is he in?" Alex asked, still looking at Jill with her hand on Chris's shoulder. Chris realizes that Alex was getting jealous of Jill and quickly pulled himself away from her, "Thank you for your concern Jill, but everything will be fine." Chris tells her with a smile.
"Yes, Captain Wesker is in his office right now." Richard said as Enrico went to knock on Wesker's office door.
"Wesker I think your new point man is here." Enrico said and Wesker came out, "Hello Alex it's been a while." he said.
"Hello Albert, I'm here to take up the position you offered me." she said, surprising everyone that she called the captain by his first name.
"Everyone this is Alex Wesker, she is my sister." Wesker says surprising everyone again, he never mentioned having a sister before.
"Me and Albert have been estranged for awhile due to our father, but the time has finally come to bury the hatchet, so when we talked the other night he mentioned needing a point man for his team because his is going on vacation. He offered me the job for I know how to use a gun and have taken self-defense. And so that we can patch up our relationship at the same time." Alex explains.
"Is this wise Wesker? Having family on the same team might be difficult." Edward points out.
"There is nothing to be concerned about. I trust Alex to take care of herself, besides Chief Irons had no problem with it." Wesker said.
'Oh yeah, that is why you threated him when he told you flat out no at it.' Chris thinks.
"Nice to meet you my name is Kenneth Sullivan." Kenneth introduces himself, followed by the others until, "My name is Jill Valentine, its a pleasure to meet you." Jill said holding out her hand, Alex stares at her for a moment but shakes her hand. Alex then goes over to her brother who takes her to his office, Jill whispers to Chris, "I don't think she likes me."
Chris says nothing because he could not say why Alex did not like Jill.
Inside Wesker's office Alex turns to her brother, "Albert who is that woman?" she asks.
"Keep it professional Alex, I can assure you that nothing serious has happened between Chris and Jill. I'll admit Chris did want to go steady with her but that no longer matters does it? Besides she'll be dead soon enough." Wesker tells her.
"You're right, she be out of the picture soon. What else do you need me to do?" Alex asks him.
"You just need to fill out a few papers, then everything is official. Then once the work day is over we will take Chris to the air port and send him and Claire to your estate. By the way how is she?" he asks.
"She did well and is currently staying at the hotel until departure time." Alex responds. Alex sat down to finish the remaining paperwork and Albert sat in his desk going over papers for today.
Line break
Claire was packing up her stuff out of her dorm, her friends and colleagues were surprised when she told them she was going to transfer to Raccoon University.
"Are you sure you want to do that?" her friend Chrissy asks.
"You have like two semesters until you get your degree, transferring now will set that back for another year." her friend Sandra said.
"Thank you guys but my mind is made up, I get to see Chris more and will get a better chance being taken at a career if I attend Raccoon University." Claire says with a smile that's empty.
"Before I start there me and Chris will go to Miami to spend the rest of summer vacation." Claire said, this was the plan to explain why she won't be here and while she is going to the beach it was not in Miami.
"By the way, who is that lady and the men she brought with her?" Susan asked.
"She is one of my brothers friends that lives in Raccoon city and upon hearing that I would be moving insisted on helping me pack." Claire said looking at the men, who were helping pack her things.
This was a quick way to gather up her stuff before she goes to Alex's place where she and Chris would await the return of their intendeds and so that she wouldn't tell anyone what happened that night. Before long all her stuff was packed and put on the truck.
Her friends come with her downstairs to bid her goodbye and with a promise to keep in touch. 'I wish I could stay in touch with you all.' are Claire's thoughts, but she would not stay in touch because the Wesker siblings told both Redfield siblings that when they say goodbye they will sever their old ties and make a new future without them. This has upsetted both her and Chris but the Wesker's made it clear that there won't be any other way.
Then one of her guy friends speaks, "Claire, must you go?"
'It had to be Simon that gets the last word in' Claire thinks as she looks at him.
Simon speaks again, "You could at least finish your undergraduate degree here before transferring to another school. I'm sure its not too late to stop the proceedings, please reconsider Claire."
Claire knew why Simon was being the most stubborn, he has a crush on her but she never felt anything beyond friendship for him and rejected all date invites from him.
"Everyone can you please give us a moment?" Claire asks before grabbing Simon by the hand and went over to a bench.
They both sat down and turned to look at each other, Claire starts, "Simon I know we've been friends since high school, but I never saw you anything else other than a friend. I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll ever return your feelings".
Simon smiles sadly, he knew one day this might come, Claire had an honest heart and would not be afraid to speak her mind. Until then he had kept up asking her to go out with him, believing that he could get her to change her mind, "I understand Claire, but do you have to leave us?" he asks.
"You know I've been wanting to spend more time Chris and getting a degree so I could fulfill the dream my mom had. When the opportunity came I decided to take it, I know it was sudden but no time like the present as they say." Claire tells him.
"Ok Claire, I understand." he said, they both stand up and give each other a hug. "We better get back to the others." she said, when they get back someone else was with her friends.
"There you are Claire, its time to go." Alex said. 'Its time.' Claire realizes sadly. Claire turns to her friends, bids them goodbye and gets in the car with Alex. As they make their way back to the airport Claire asks, "The.. transfer is done?"
"Yes I picked up your records and took care of any loose ends. Everything is ready on your end." Alex responds. Claire sighs, she accepts that her college life is over and now all that was left was on Chris's end, then Alex speaks, "By the way, who was that young man you were with?"
"Just a friend, nothing happened between us and even if I wasn't marrying Wesker, I never would go out with him." Claire tells her honestly.
"Fine I won't tell Albert about it, but you should be careful as to who gets to approach you in the future. Both Albert and I get jealous and possessive quite easily, when it comes to our lovers." Alex gives a warning.
They arrive at the airport, got everything put on Alex's private jet and take off back to Raccoon City to pick up Chris tomorrow.
Alex and Claire are in the passengers area when Alex speaks, "In a couple of weeks you will test yourself at my home to find out if you conceived or not and I will do the same. Don't worry about any mistakes, I have the latest equipment. And I will join you two should I be pregnant."
"Is this plan ok? You joining S.T.A.R.S?" Claire asks sounding concerned.
"The idea is to get the combat data, to do that the S.T.A.R.S need to feel confidante and the results should be good. And there is no need to be concerned about my well being, like you I know how to shoot and know how to defend myself." Alex explains.
"And the virus?" Claire asks still looking concerned.
"The virus will help me and Albert ascend and should cure me of my illness, with that we'll be together until the end of time." Alex said. Claire did not think the virus would make Alex or Wesker into gods, and is concerned for her and her brother should the Wesker siblings die after taking it.
"Claire come to me." Alex suddenly speaks.
Claire goes to Alex, who pulls her unto her lap, "W-Wesker!" she said in surprise. "Calm down Little Dove. There won't be too much of intimate pleasures, but enough to give you a taste of what will come in the future."
She then kisses Claire, who tenses at first, she never kissed another woman, before relaxing and opens her mouth to battle it out with her. Alex then puts her hands under Claire's shirt and gropes her breasts, Claire gasps in surprise and Alex wins by a landslide.
Claire pulls herself away, "You cheated!" she states. This causes Alex to chuckle, "I don't recall there being any rules." Alex says smugly. Claire pouts and lays her head on Alex's shoulder, before long they arrive at the airport in Raccoon City.
Line Break
"Miss Redfield, Miss Redfield its time to go." a voice and a knock brings Claire out of her memory.
She realizes she still had the same book, on the same page for a couple of hours, thinking about all that happened yesterday.
"Alright let me grab my stuff." she tells the person before opening the door, and gathering up everything she brought overnight.
"Miss Redfield I insist you let me summon a bellboy to take your things to the car." Stuart said, he is Alex's personal servant.
"It's ok Stuart, it's not much." Claire said having gathered up everything and they go to the car to drive to the airport.
Upon arriving they discover that they are the last ones to arrive. Chris, Wesker and Alex were waiting by the entrance to the plane, "Hey Claire." Chris said.
"Hello everyone." Claire greeted them. "Remember when you see us again, the wedding will commence." Wesker said.
Both Redfield's nodded, still surprised that the Wesker siblings wanted to do a double wedding, but they have been on the rise for a couple of years and makes things a bit simple.
"Remember Stuart, they are in your care until we return." Alex tells her servant.
"I understand milady, they will want for nothing." he promises her before going on the plane.
"Come closer you two." Alex said, she meant for Chris to go to her and Claire to Wesker, the Redfield's nervously approach the one that had been their respected rapist. When they stop in front of them, they reach out and touched their faces causing them to flinch.
"I understand you are still anxious from what happened a couple days ago, but you will have time to come to term with it." Wesker states looking at Claire but speaking to both Redfield's.
'How would you know?' both Redfield siblings think with anger, then Alex speaks, "A kiss goodbye is more than enough for now and promise for the future."
She puts her hands on Chris's face and lip locks with him, he tenses but soon battles it out with her. Wesker does the same thing to Claire, who was upset that Wesker touches her, but fights him with her tongue.
A moment passes, "It's time." Wesker releases Claire reluctantly and Alex does the same for Chris, and they go up to the plane.
When the plane takes off, both Chris and Claire sigh in sadness and apprehension, their lives were turned upside down, the S.T.A.R.S were going to be killed, and they would soon be married to the ones that turned their lives around.
