A Double Twisted Nightmare Chapter 13
October 2nd Unknown Island
Claire had finally arrived back at the island, awaiting her and Stuart, who had gone with her back to the States, was her brother and the Wesker siblings.
"Welcome back Claire." Chris said embracing her.
"You did well Dearheart." Albert said bring her to him, once Chris let her go.
"I'm still mad at you." she tells him, but allows his embrace.
"I know, but there was no option but that one." he tells her, giving her a kiss before allowing Alex to take her from him.
She gives Claire a kiss herself, "I knew you would make it." she said.
"We'll get a report from you later about your experiences." Alex was talking about what happened in the city.
Claire nods, then Albert speaks, "Once all finer points are done with Organization, we will finally get married. So be sure to have everything ready you two." he said to both the Redfield siblings. They nod at his words.
Later when Chris and Claire are by themselves, Claire tells him all about her adventure of hell.
"You could've waited to tell Albert and Alex later, I am going to be there too." he said after she was done.
"I know, but you understand why I told you everything." Claire told him about Leon in her story.
"Yeah but something tells me, they will find out." Chris said giving her a knowing look.
"How? I didn't even tell Stuart about him." Claire said looking away.
"It's possible that when Stuart paid the motel manager, he may have told him about this Leon. But even if he didn't, I think one way or another they'll find out. Say Ada Wong." Chris said.
"So she survived." Claire looking back at him.
"Yeah, she checked in and got out before the city was gone." Chris informs her.
"She hasn't given us a full report yet, but she did have a partial of pure g-virus with her. Which Albert then told her how to get out." Chris tells her.
"And we all know what she plans to do with it." Claire said unhappily, Ada was going to give it to her own people.
"Yeah. By the way, was Leon handsome?" Chris asks teasingly.
Claire blushes, "Knock it off Chris. Yes he is handsome, but the ship has sailed." she said looking away, reminding him that she was marrying Albert.
"..Sorry." Chris apologizes.
"We've fought the monsters that Jill and the other fought, excluding the lickers and ivies, but to fight in a mansion or a city with those things crawling everywhere? Sounds awful." Chris changes the subject.
"Yeah, it was like hell opened up on the earth itself." Claire said.
"... Chris, Brad had been in the city when the outbreak happened and he ended up getting infected." Claire tells him sadly.
Chris and Brad got along well enough, both of them being pilots, but Chris often found his cowardice annoying.
".. He had a chicken heart but he was a good man." Chris finally said.
They sit together in silence for a while.
Later they go into the lab so Claire can give a full report.
She sat down, talks about and just she was about to talk about Leon rescuing her from the diner she stops.
"Come now Little Dove, we need details. You can't leave out anything that is important." Alex said encouragingly.
"Or are you concerned we will go after Leon Kennedy?" Albert said unexpectedly.
Claire jolts in surprise, "Both Stuart and Wong, when she got back into contact with us, informed us that he had been with you." Albert said darkly.
He was not happy that Claire kept that information from him when she was at the motel. He also wondered about Leon and when he asked Wong, she said he was heroic, quite handsome and seemed to be Claire's age.
".. Leon doesn't know anything outside of Sherry and Umbrella. I can assure you of that, he also doesn't know who Ada was working for." Claire said nervously.
The main reason as to why she didn't want to say anything, was because a young researcher flirted with her, despite knowing she is the intended of Albert Wesker. When Albert found out and saw him lay his hand on her arm, he broke it and now he was being used as an experiment.
That was why she couldn't bring Leon with her, she knew that Albert would've killed or maimed him if he saw him with her.
"We have no plans of going after him at this time, but you must include him in your report if he had been with you a good portion of the time." Alex said giving her brother a look.
"Yes." Albert said in a neutral tone.
Claire then tells them everything, how they met, their partnership throughout RPD and below, Sherry, Ada and how they escaped.
"You definitely had a hard time but you survived. Now the future that has been promised can be done. We had some people collect samples from Birkin's dead body." Alex said, writing down Claire last words about that night.
"Yes, Nicholai came through and gave us the combat data we needed from the Nemesis tyrant. While Wong did give the sample to her people, she can be a useful tool." Albert said.
"So you'll use her again?" Chris asked, he had been silent the entire time.
"Yes, we just need to be thorough as to what missions we send her on. An asset like her shouldn't be tossed aside so easily. We know who she is really working for so that plays into our advantage." Alex said.
"As for Sherry, we will get blood from her, which contains the g-virus and it's antiviral." Albert said, causing Claire to look away from him in anger.
"Claire, I know how you feel about her, but the deal was that the US government gets her in exchange, no one comes after us." Albert said.
The man who promised this was very powerful, since they were still in a situation with the Organization, they had no right to refuse.
"I'll talk to Simmons and make sure Sherry will have schooling, housing and everything else she'll need." Albert said.
".. Your her godfather, why couldn't you use that on him?" Claire asks him, still not looking at him.
"I'm a dead man right now, it would be rather difficult to make that kind of arrangement." Albert said.
"Sooner or later we will let the world know we are still alive, but now is not the time." Alex said.
"With everything we now have, we will be able to smooth things over with the Organization." Albert said, reminding them that they will be married.
".. I'm acting childish but I'll be mad at you for awhile." Claire said finally turning back to him.
"That's fine. You'll get over it eventually." Albert said with a smirk.
"So what happens now?" Chris asks.
"We'll make our report to the Organization, then once things are settled, we will marry for sure." Alex said.
"Just to let you know Beloved, Jill escaped from Raccoon City." Alex reluctantly gives him this information.
Chris jumps, he had no idea she had remained in the city, "Is she ok? What about Barry and his family? Rebecca?" he fires questions out.
"Rebecca and Barry had already left before the out break. Brad stayed behind with Jill to gather evidence against Umbrella, we know his fate. Jill was able to get out of the city uninfected." Albert said, this made Chris calm down.
Alex was glad it was not just Jill he asked about.
"Thanks to her as well as other survivors, Umbrella is now crumbling. It will take three or four years to be sure, but we can definitely say Umbrella is sinking." Albert said with a smirk.
"Yes, with this the threat to us has lessened." Alex said with a smirk.
"I'm glad that Umbrella isn't going to chase us down anymore." Chris said smiling.
"They're getting their just deserts." Claire said with a smile.
Later Claire went to Albert to talk to him, he was in the lab.
"Albert.. You knew Birkin?" she asks.
"Yes, I did." Albert said, he knew that this would come up sooner or later.
"That would explain how your Sherry's godfather. How did you two meet?" Claire asks.
"The management training facility in the Arklay mountains, we met as we became managers and helped Marcus." Albert said.
"I'm sorry-" Claire tries to apologize about what happened with Birkin, but Albert raises his hand.
"Don't apologize about Will, you weren't there. I did tell him that Alex and I were leaving Umbrella, giving him an opportunity to leave with us, but he made his choice. I will admit I'll miss him, so will Alex." Albert said.
".. I understand." Claire said and lets the matter drop.
One thing was still bothering her, "While me and Leon we're in your office at RPD, I found a film role with Rebecca Chambers in it. Why did you have that?" Claire asks him, curiously.
"Oh, that, Joseph and Forest were arguing over who gets the right to it as well as who can date her. I had enough of their bickering and confiscated it from them. It was a week before the party." Albert said, he meant the party where the Redfield's lives were turned upside down.
"I see." Claire lets silence go over them.
October 5th in some bar in LA
Jill and Carlos are sharing a drink, before Carlos heads for South America.
"Are you sure about this Carlos?" Jill asks him.
"I am, I still have contacts down there. They'll be able to help me hide and while there, I'll find Umbrella bases." Carlos said, sipping his drink.
"It would have been no trouble for you to stay." Jill said sipping her drink.
"Thanks but if I stay, then the target painted on you would increase. You don't need that, with what your trying to do." Carlos said.
He meant Chris and Claire, Jill had already turned in the evidence that she and Brad collected, the cure for the t-virus, and with Raccoon City being destroyed, the government was out for blood. Now Jill was going to focus her attention on finding the Redfield siblings for the time being.
Jill takes another sip, "I'll be stopping by DC before I head for Europe." she tells him.
"What for? They don't need you in the courts." Carlos said, taking another sip.
"An old friend of mine called me yesterday. He said that a young man named Leon Kennedy ran into Claire while in Raccoon City. I intend to meet him." Jill said firmly.
"I see. Make sure your careful." Carlos said.
Once they were done with their drinks, they get into Jill's rental and head towards the airport.
When they arrive, they get out and head towards the plane.
"Contact with me will be sparse. Can't have Umbrella find me too easily, I'll get in touch when I can." Carlos said as they walk towards his plane.
"Just try to contact me twice a year so that I know your fine." Jill wanted to know he was all right.
As Carlos gets ready to board, he turns to Jill and hugs her. "Thank you for saving me back at Raccoon City." he said letting her go.
"You would've done the same thing." she said with smile.
"Until Umbrella is no longer a threat, we will meet up again." Carlos promises her.
"Until Umbrella is no more." Jill promises.
Then he climbed aboard the plane, the plane takes off for somewhere in South America and Jill watches until it was out of sight.
October 8th Unknown location
Albert was meeting with Derek Simmons, he was from an powerful old family from the States and had been recently promoted to National Security Advisor. Though anyone in touch with the shadows of the world would know who he really is.
"Thank you for the g-virus. Now about Sherry herself, you are to ensure that she has a proper education, appropriate housing and everything else she needs to get through life." Albert tells him, keeping his promise to Claire.
"No need to be concerned for her, she will get all that. In fact I'm already making arrangements for her to be placed in my household." Simmons reveals to him.
"I hear you've recruited Kennedy into The United States Strategic Command." Albert said.
"His skills that helped him survive Raccoon City are an asset and he knows too much about Umbrella as it is. We've made a deal that as long as he cooperates, Sherry won't be an experiment. Of course, he doesn't know the whole truth and its not like I would allow that to happen to Sherry anyway." Simmons said, avoiding Wesker's gaze.
"I should hope not." Albert said with a threat in his voice.
Silence.
"By the way, when is the happy day for you and your sister?" Simmons asks changing the subject.
"I don't see how that is any of your business, how did you know about that?" Albert asks sternly.
"I'm part of the higher ups Wesker, not full time of course, but I know enough that you've talked to them about having sometime off for the wedding." Simmons said.
"We have not yet decided but it should be soon. They are still haggling with us about the information from Raccoon City and getting mine and Alex's blood." Albert said displeased.
The downside with becoming something bigger than human is that people start to find out about it, now the Organization wants the Wesker blood.
"You should just give them what they want. The sooner you do, the sooner you and your sister can marry those two." Simmons said like it was no big deal.
"That is something we don't need." Albert said grabbing his briefcase and starts to leave.
"Too bad old man Spencer won't be there. You and Alex were-" Simmons starts to say, when Wesker all of a sudden appears in front of him and grabs him by the neck.
The bodyguards that Simmons brought, tried to stop him, but sees they can't without harming Simmons by mistake.
"I know you've got Umbrella on life support, you won't directly help them because it would make you look bad right now. If they can only prove that they truly weren't involved with Raccoon City, then you would give them full support." Albert said angrily.
"If I or Alex catch wind that you have betrayed us to Spencer, then all bets are off. Are we clear?" Albert asks squeezing his throat.
Simmons struggles to breath, "I-I understand!" he gasps out.
"Good." Albert said letting him go and he falls to the ground.
His bodyguards move in to get him, but Simmons holds up his hand to stop them. He was angry that Wesker humiliated him, but knew that his men won't stand a chance against him.
"Next time when we meet, don't bring him up. And just to let you know, neither Alex or me will ever let Umbrella regain the control they lost." Albert said before finally leaving.
October 9th Washington DC
Leon was walking down the streets of the capitol, he had dreams of traveling here but not under the circumstances.
'Smug bastard.' was the only thing that he can call Simmons.
'I can't believe that they considered making Sherry an experiment.' Leon had to make a deal with them so that they wouldn't do that.
'Claire... Where ever you are. I hope you know I have been keeping an eye on Sherry.' Leon had not forgotten about Claire.
'I don't care what they threating me with, I'm going to find you and your brother. Sherry even gave me her support in that.' Leon then remembers the conversation he had with Sherry the other day.
"You'll find her, right Leon?" Sherry asked him when they finally allowed him to see her. She still had the jacket that Claire had given her.
"Yes, I won't give up and when I find her, I'll get the answers that she didn't tell me." Leon assures Sherry that he would find her.
"Ok, find Claire and her brother, Chris I think is his name?" Sherry said unsure.
"Yeah it is." Leon confirms.
His interrogators told him Chris's name when he talked about Claire. Told him what he already knew.
"By the way, did Claire happen to say 'godfather'?" she asks him.
"Yeah, do you have one?" Leon asks in hopes that she does, but taking in the look on her face, tells him that something is off.
".. That's just the strangest thing. My godfather's name is Albert Wesker, but he died up in the Arklay mountains. He was in S.T.A.R.S." Sherry said with a confused look on her face.
Now Leon was confused, why did Claire bring up a dead man on the device?
"Did... did uncle Albert live?" Sherry said unsure.
Coming out of the memory as he thinks of another woman, 'Ada... you were devious in your affairs but I was able to hear that you survived.' Leon was glad that she had in fact lived.
'Tracking down Ada will be just as hard as Claire but I know her reasons well enough. Its Claire who I need real answers from, now I just need to-umph?!' someone puts their hand over his mouth and drags him into an alley.
Leon tries to fight back but stops when whoever it was let him go. "Calm down, I just want to talk." a woman's voice speaks.
He looks at the woman and recognizes her from a photo back in the STARS office. "Your.. Jill Valentine?" Leon asks unsure, he had only heard her name mentioned once.
"Yes, your Leon Kennedy, a survivor of Raccoon City and now a slave to the government. My contact told me about you." Jill said.
"I'm sorry we had to meet this way, but I need to talk to you about Claire." she said.
"Ok but you didn't need to do that." Leon said.
Jill gave him a look that said 'Are you stupid?'
"Your being followed by agents, just because you've joined them doesn't mean they trust you yet." Jill said firmly.
"Let's go before they get after us." Jill said heading down the alley with Leon following her.
'Jill's most likely right, they probably won't approve of us talking yet.' Leon realizes that he needs to pay better attention to his surroundings.
After taking many twists and turn, Jill brings him to a small cafe. They sit, order coffee and once it was served, Jill starts talking.
"How did you meet Claire?" she asks but she was clearly interrogating him.
"I got a call to stay away from Raccoon City, but I wanted to help so I went there. As I was driving through the city, I saw a corpse, got out to check it when I heard gunshots coming from the diner nearby. Then the body that was on the ground came to life and though shocked I shot at it before I went over to the diner. I forced open the door.." Leon tells Jill everything that had happened that night, including his private interactions with Claire, which he did not tell his integrators.
".. After the agents took us, they brought us here, after making sure we wouldn't turn into zombies." Leon finishes his tale.
Jill is silent for a moment, "Claire.. is in an underground organization?" she said, having a hard time believing that.
"I'm pretty sure she is and I think Chris is also involved somehow." Leon sadly tells her.
".. I'm on a quest to find them. I won't stop until they are found and Umbrella reduced to ashes." Jill said determinedly.
"You can count me in, I have to talk to Claire again and Umbrella needs to go down." Leon said just as determined.
"Are you sure? The government will most likely say no." Jill said.
"This unit that I'm in, will deal with bioterrorism. Your right that they might not let me help you.. but they would be hypocrites, especially if they constantly use Sherry against me. Not to mention our deal will be broken if they completely take her away from me." Leon said with a scowl.
Leon was allowed visitation rights, provided he did as he was told, but Leon also warned them that if they are the ones who break the deal, then he will tell the world about what really happened back in Raccoon City, and so would the other survivors, Kevin and his group survived.
"Your pretty bold.. Here, this is my contact information." Jill said, writing out her information on a notepad she had with her.
"Here is mine." Leon said as Jill gave him the notepad and pen. He gives her his contacts, after handing back her note pad.
"Say do you know Albert Wesker?" Leon asks her.
Jill's face darkened immediately at hearing that name. "Yes, he was the captain of the STARS teams but he and his sister Alex, who joined us just before Chris disappeared, were wolves in sheep's clothing." Jill said with a sneer.
She then tells him what happened that night up in the Arklay mountains.
Leon is silent for a moment, "Jill... I didn't mention this before but before Claire left us, she got into contact with someone. She called him Sherry's godfather, but Sherry said his name is Albert Wesker." Leon informs her.
Jill froze, "Leon.. I saw him get gutted by the tyrant myself, there is no way he survived that." she finally spoke confused.
"I understand, but why did Claire say that?" Leon asks also confused.
Silence.
'It can't be..' Jill could not bring herself to believe that Wesker and maybe Alex are still alive.
".. You kept this to yourself?" Jill asks him.
"Yes, I didn't tell them about Claire being apart of an organization. I won't tell them about her like that, I know she is a good person." Leon swears he said nothing negative about Claire and he didn't.
"I need the whole story from her. As for Wesker, no ones knows but the three of us." Leon said.
"Right." Jill looks at the clock inside the cafe.
"Listen, I got to go. My flight leaves for Copenhagen in four hours, I found an Umbrella base." Jill said standing up and Leon gets up with her.
"Give me a call if you find Claire or Chris. I promised Sherry that I would give her updates, if Claire or Chris are involved." Leon said holding out his hand.
Jill reaches for it and they shake hands, "If you get in over your head and need help, call." Leon said letting go.
"Same." Jill said before waving down a taxi and gets in. Leon watches the car disappear from sight.
'Back to my new apartment.' Leon leaves for a bus stop.
October 14th Unknown location
"I can't believe Simmons is backing out." Sergei said with a growl.
"Reputation with him is everything Sergei, Umbrella is being negatively viewed by the world as a whole. So its understandable why he is staying silent about the affair." Spencer said unhappily.
Spencer and Sergei were working out ways to delay the proceedings, but the evidence and witnesses that have come foreword are quite formidable.
"My life's work.." Spencer is distressed.
"Don't worry my lord, Umbrella will be back on top. I will make sure of it." Sergei swears to him.
".. What of Valentine?" he asks.
"She is quite the nuisance, but going over the camera recordings she seems to be looking for something. What, I can't say just yet." Sergei was puzzled by Jill's actions as she raids their labs in Denmark.
"It can't be Umbrella information, the Red Queen takes care of all that." Sergei said.
"... Locations to other bases? No, whatever it is, it must be personal... the Redfield's?" Spencer questions aloud.
".. It's possible that she thinks we have them, but its true that we don't." Sergei said.
"Yes, Albert and Alex have them, but we don't know where they are." Spencer said.
"She must be unaware that they are still alive." Sergei said.
".. Leave her be for now, let's focus on getting Umbrella's name cleared." Spencer said.
"Yes, I'm awaiting contacts from a man I trust. I sent him after another that betrayed us." Sergei said with anger.
"Unfortunately, we are at a stand still for now." Spencer said.
October 20th Unknown Island
Ada Wong just finished dropping off information to the Wesker's, they wanted to know how things were in DC Umbrella.
She sees Claire and Chris sparring with each other, she goes over to them.
"So you are to be Mrs. Albert Wesker. I knew there was something off about you when we met." Ada said and they stop.
"So did Leon." Claire said to her, causing her to flinch.
"Your right, I broke his heart." Ada said.
"However you most likely hurt him and Sherry by running off." she said to Claire, causing her to clench her hands.
"Tell me Claire, you had your chance at freedom. You could've left with Leon and Sherry, instead you came back." Ada questions her choice.
"I was not going to leave Chris alone with them and we have our own deal with them." Claire said getting angry.
Chris steps in between them, "Ok, that's enough the both you." he spoke to both of them sternly.
".. Just back off Ada, assuming you even have feelings." Claire said calming down.
"Fine, but was is this deal?" she asks.
"That is none of your business." Chris tells her.
Stuart comes up to them, "Ms. Wong its time for you to leave." he said grabbing her by the arm.
Ada shrugs him off, "When is the big day? Tell me that and I'll leave." she said.
Chris and Claire share a look before looking back towards her, "It is November first." Claire tells her.
"I offer my congratulations then." Ada said before turning on her heel and leaves.
They watch her leave, while it was true they had a date set, the Wesker's were still working out details with the Organization.
".. Let's get back to sparing." Chris said and they resumed their positions.
October 23rd Washington DC
"Leon!" Sherry shouted happily, as she sees him downstairs. She runs to him and they hug.
"I'm glad to see you too, Sherry. How have you've been?" Leon asks her as they separate.
Sherry had just recently moved in the house of Derek Simmons. Leon knew that a part of it was a reminder about Sherry, being apart of the deal.
"Fine, through Mr. Simmons is very strict." Sherry said unhappily.
'Yeah, strict. Just to make sure you don't slip through the government's fingers.' Leon keeps his thoughts to himself.
"But I'm grateful he has allowed me to live here, rather than the lab." Sherry said.
"I am too." Leon said. 'At least I'm grateful for that.'
"By the way, I've brought someone with me this time." Leon said coming out of his thoughts.
"Who is it?" Sherry asks, knowing it wasn't Claire.
"Come on in." he called out behind him.
In comes Jill, "Hi, my name is Jill Valentine." she introduces herself to Sherry.
After being unsuccessful in finding the Redfield siblings in Denmark, Jill came back to the States for a breather. She met up with Leon again and asked if she could meet Sherry, she wanted to make sure she was fine.
At first Simmons wouldn't hear of it, but Jill held her ground against him. She points out that Sherry is a follow Raccoon City survivor, she has every right to meet her.
Jill also reminded him of who she was, she had been the first woman to enter Delta Force and was not afraid to use her contacts. Jill couldn't do anything to Simmons personally, but she could make a fuss, which would in turn damage him and the government's reputation.
So Simmons reluctantly agreed to allow Jill to visit Sherry when ever she wants, but on the condition that she has to be with Leon, no matter what and to keep quiet about certain things.
"I've seen you before.. I remember now, I saw you in a photo of the S.T.A.R.S." Sherry said smiling.
"Let's go to the dining room." Sherry said motioning for them to follow.
They all take a seat, once their in the dining room.
"I'm sorry, but I can't stay long. I've got to catch a plane that will take me to Italy." Jill said to Sherry.
"She's trying to find Chris and Claire. I see you still have the jacket she gave you." Leon said relived that it wasn't taken away.
"Yeah, I had Mr. Simmons have someone take me to the cleaners and they were able to get rid of the bad smells." Sherry said, showing off the jacket.
"Claire must have made a good impression on you." Jill said with a smile.
"Yeah... I miss her." Sherry said, sad.
"Well, I'm not going to stop until I find her and Chris. I can promise you that." Jill said, she would never give up.
"I'm glad you and Leon are working together to find them." Sherry said.
"Yeah we are." Leon said. He might not be able to help Jill all the time, but with her, he'll be able to get information about the Redfield's and Umbrella.
"Say Jill, uncle Albert was your captain right?" Sherry asks innocently, Jill had to fight the flinch that threated to go across her face.
"Yes, he was." Jill was able to get out. 'She doesn't know and unless I see him alive, there is no need to say anything.'
"Do you think he's still alive?" she asks.
"Hard to say Sherry, if he is, he's been quiet for some reason." Jill decides not to tell her just yet she witnessed his death.
".. Part of me hopes he is." Sherry said. Jill keeps her expression neutral.
They spend the next hour talking about things, when Jill says its time for her to go.
Leon and Sherry walked her to the door, "Be careful Jill." Sherry said.
"Remember Jill, I got your back. Stay safe." Leon said.
"See you two later." Jill said leaving for her flight.
October 30th Unknown Island early morning
Chris and Claire finished packing what they were taking and headed to the plane.
The Wesker's had finally talked down the Organization about their blood, accepted what they already have for the g-virus, the reports in Raccoon City, and in compensation for it being carried on this long, gave them all of November off for their honeymoon.
They had decided to get married at St Stephen Cathedral in Vienna, which will also be the place of their honeymoon.
When they started putting together the wedding, they had several ideas but were unsure on how far they could go. They asked the Wesker siblings, who said as long as their wedding stayed a private affair, they could spend however much they wanted.
Chris was able to come up with a few ideas such as what to do outside their hotel, but Claire was the one who came up with most of it.
"Thank goodness for your input Claire, otherwise there would be no class." Chris said with a teasing smile as they head towards the exit.
"Yeah, no offence big brother, but a three minute wedding and celebrate with liqueur?" Claire said teasing him back as they go through the door.
"Hey, don't rub it in." he said still smiling.
As they approach the plane nervousness finally creeps up on them, as their luggage is taken and put aboard.
The Wesker's then arrive with their luggage as well as Stuart, "Make sure everyone is doing what their supposed to be. Don't contact us, unless it truly is an emergency." Alex tells Stuart and their luggage is taken and put aboard.
"Yes my lady, I understand." he responds.
"Remember, send us weekly reports as to how everything is progressing." Albert said, he had a briefcase with him.
"Yes, I will my lord and congratulations on your marriage." Stuart said.
The four of them get onboard, and the plane takes off for Austria.
"Is that the serum you've been working on?" Chris asks about the brief case that Albert brought with him.
"Yes, but its not strong enough. With time it should get better, for now it will do." Albert said.
The serum would help the Wesker siblings with their virus, so that it won't be painful to them.
"Everything will be ready?" Alex asked curiously.
"Yeah, the tuxes and dresses will be dropped off at the church changing rooms. On the day we wed." Claire said.
"The hotel is ready and the rooms paid for the whole month." Chris said.
In order to have privacy, the whole floor they're staying on had been reserved for them.
At first the hotel people had thought they were joking until they putted half the money forward. They said everyone on the floor would be cleared out by the time they arrived.
"I suppose.. there's a tour?" Albert asked keeping his tone and expression neutral.
"Yes, we know neither of you care for such things but we can't stay cooped up at the hotel." Claire said, she was excited about exploring Vienna.
"True.. even I and Albert would go crazy after a little while of that." Alex said also neutral.
"Look just enjoy yourselves and who knows, maybe you'll find a hobby outside the lab." Chris said happily about Vienna.
".. No promises." Alex said neutral and Albert nods.
They all fell in comfortable silence, in two days they will be married.
