Chapter 28: Girls' Outing
After Mina's romantic getaway with Sonic, she chills out with her friends Amy, Cream, Tiara, and Cosmo. They were at a shopping complex which has been rebuilt after Honey's hack attack. They are in the locker room taking off their clothing and underwear.
Amy is secretly jealous of the girls' figures with Mina being very curvaceous on par with Rouge. Both Tiara and Cosmo were tall and shapely women while Cream despite being younger is becoming quite pretty herself. "Gee, so much competition here," Amy thought.
"Something wrong Amy?" Mina asked.
'Oh nothing, just being silly. Let's go into the hot spring," Amy said as they put her towels to go outside with a large pool of warm water with beautiful scenery matching the native beauty of the area.
"This is a nice setup, go catch Mina," Tiara said as she put her toes into the water with all three toes twitching up and down to enjoy the warmth of the water.
"Yep, I got the hook up with the owner of this place. Got it half off, pretty neat," Mina said as they all went into the waters to enjoy the warmth soothing their muscles.
"Oh, this is very nice," Cosmo said as Cream's long bunny ears were floating on the water's edge.
"It does, it's just so nice to relax and not worry about anything," Cream said.
"You know with the whole evil wizard thing going on in the world," Amy said.
"Yes, it's very concerning but I know we will manage to defeat him and bring peace to the world," Cosmos said.
"Not without a lot of pain in the progress," Tiara said darkly.
"Gee Tiara, that came out of nowhere," Amy said.
"Well in my experience, it gets a lot worse before it gets better," Tiara said.
"Well Mina how was the romantic retreat with Sonic?" she asked being quite curious.
"Oh, it was wonderful. I cooked him a great dinner with those yummy dessert dogs I got online. Then we made love quite a bit," Mina felt very happy about it as Amy felt uneasy about this.
"Gee, calm down," Amy said as Cream was confused by her reaction.
"Amy, are you jealous?" Cream asked.
"Kind of, I want a boyfriend but I can't find anyone interesting," Amy said being bothered by this.
"Don't worry, you are pretty cute Amy. You will find someone soon," Mina said trying to comfort the younger woman.
"Easy for you to say. Just look at you," Amy said as she grabs onto Mina's boobs. Mina jumps in surprise with Amy groping her breasts. "These things are huge. You and Rouge are comparable in terms of boob size," Amy said as Mina feels uncomfortable.
"Please Amy, stop doing this," Mina said.
"Please don't be weird Amy," Tiara said as Amy stopped for she got over it.
'Fine, I will use my cute looks to get a real man," Amy said as Mina patted her on the back.
"That's the spirit," Mina said to cheer her on to get a boyfriend.
"Hey guys, did you watch the news recently? The Golden Hive Colony was attacked by an unknown force," Cosmo said.
"The Golden Hive colony, isn't that where Charmy comes from?" Cream asked as she remembered Charmy speaking about being homesick while working with the Chaotix.
"Yes, a lot of the citizens were mysteriously sick and vanished from sight," Cosmo said.
"Sounds very scary," Mina said as she was out of the loop for about two days when she was hanging out with Sonic on their romantic retreat.
"Yes but GUN is checking it all out," Tiara said.
"Anyway, let's go to something lighter to talk about. What is the Solstice of Light like?" Cosmo asked Mina.
"It's great, it's filled with music, dancing, games, and great food. Also, you can wear beautiful kimonos," Mina said.
"Oh, that sounds so lovely. I wish me and Tails could go there," Cosmos said.
"Well, there is a fall festival coming up soon in the future. Summer is almost over," Mina said.
"Oh, I hope I can go on Halloween. I need to get a great costume," Cream said as Tiara was in deep thought.
"Father, I wish you could enjoy something like this," Tiara said as Mina looked concerned to tap her shoulder.
"Hey Tiara, are you okay?" Mina asked.
"Yes, I was just thinking about my father and wish he was with me now," Tiara said as Mina detected sadness in her voice.
"Oh, I am sorry if I brought any negative feelings to you," Mina said as Tiara nodded her head.
"No, you didn't mean anything by that. I was just thinking about my time with him. Enjoying sweet little moments like these before he was taken by me," Tiara said looking gloomy.
"I didn't know my father for too long. Mama always said he was a brave man who loved his family like Mama, myself, and my little sister," Mina said.
"What happened to him?" Tiara asked.
"Oh, he was part of the defensive military protecting my hometown of Okina City. He was involved in the defense against a powerful group of techno-mage cult from the Dragon Kingdom. There was a big army of weird cybernetic creatures they were controlling. They managed to protect the city but my father was killed in the process. I was 7 at the time and my sister barely turned one year old when this happened," Mina said.
"Oh, that is awful. At least he died a hero's death," Tiara said.
"Yes, he did. I will always hold his memories within my heart. Mama told me a story about her first meeting with father to encourage me to seek out my love for Sonic and ask him out," Mina said.
"Really?" she asked.
"Yes, Mama told me about how she was being chased by monsters. Then my papa saved her with a sword in hand to cut them down to pieces. Mama said it was love at first sight, his kindness and bravery made her know he was the one for her. It reminds me of how I fell in love with Sonic with his compassion and bravery leaving a mark on me forever. I knew he was the one for me," Mina said to continue.
"Mama said Sonic reminds her of her past husband. She told me to hold on tight because you can never know how long it would last, I took that to heart. After I performed in Station Square in the café Sonic told me about. I confessed my feelings for him and then we started becoming a couple," Mina said.
"Very interesting, they say daughters look for men who are similar to their fathers. Both Sonic and your father are caring men who seek justice and protect the weak. Holding dear close their hearts," Tiara said as Mina nodded her head.
"That makes sense. Mama wanted me not to regret letting Sonic slip away. Having the life, she wished she still had with my father," Mina said.
"Your poor mother, I don't even remember who my mother was. She died when I was born out of her womb," Tiara said.
"That's awful, I wouldn't know what to do if my mama wasn't around," Mina said.
"Well, you are the lucky one. Both my parents are gone and I am the lone survivor of a dead kingdom," Tiara said as she felt more comfortable talking with Mina from their bit of bonding.
"You never talk about the old kingdom, what's it called?" she asked.
"The Coral Kingdom on the Isle of Coral Island. It was a tropical wonderland until a natural disaster destroyed it via an earthquake in the ocean causing a huge tsunami to wipe out a section of the island including the city. Now it's a hollow shell what it once was," Tiara said.
"Pretty crazy, a whole island abandoned left to be exposed by the elements. It's like an eerie picture in my mind," Mina said.
"Yes but thankfully none of my father's greatest treasures are found and should stay that way," Tiara said.
"Really, how so?" Mina asked.
"My father created 6 powerful items called the Chaos Rings which are made as a source of clean energy for the city via using Chaos energy but they were stored away in secret locations only my father knew about. Since he is dead, no one knows where they are, and safe there," Tiara said.
"Chaos Rings, are they like the Chaos Drives made by GUN," Mina asked.
"Yes but much more powerful. Now they are lost, a real shame. They can be useful to power up cities and not harm the environment," Tiara said.
"That would sound useful," Mina said as Tiara held up her palm flat to summon a single snowflake to hover above it.
"I am curious about your new powers. I want to test them myself against my own," Tiara said.
"Cool, I would love some sparring matches. I am curious about your ice powers," Mina said as they got out of the hot springs to get back into their clothing in the locker room. Mina fits into her black tank top and brown khaki shorts along with green heel high boots and green gloves.
The girl wears their usual outfits with Amy fitting her red dress to fix up the skirt. "So, gals. Where do you want to go next?" Amy asked to go back into the huge mall.
"I and Mina are going to the dojo to test our powers against one another," Tiara said.
"Oh really, I would like to see Tiara in action," Amy said as her girl crush is popping up again.
"A sparring match, this would be fun to watch," Cosmo said.
"I hope you two don't get hurt," Cream said worried.
"Don't worry, we just going to test each other powers. Nothing serious," Mina said.
"Yeah, just a friendly sparring match," Tiara said as they got into a training room where the girls sat in a glass room to witness the room where the two girls would be sparring. Mina and Tiara get into spare sports bras and shorts to get ready for their sparring match.
The two women are in the large room allowing them to get into combat stances. "I want to see what you can do Mina," Tiara said.
"I am very curious what you can do Tiara," Mina said as she could sense Tiara powering up with her long brown hair going snow white and her eyes going from blue to red. An icy aura pours out of her body making the room get very cold.
Mina goes in to deliver swift kicks but Tiara is dodging her strikes. Amy, Cosmo, and Cream look to see the two women were pretty even in terms of physical combat. Mina and Tiara block and evade their kicks as Tiara steps it up with an ice blast.
Mina shoots fireballs to match her own. Both attacks clash and can't overpower the other. Mina fires a fire blast but Tiara easily summons an ice wall to block it. The thick ice wall holds up with Mina peppering it with fireballs to slowly melt it away.
Tiara made the wall explode with a snap of her fingers. Mina gets knocked onto the floor with Tiara delivering swift kicks to her chest to make Mina recoil backward. Tiara moves backward to leave behind an icy clone as Mina fires at the clone.
"Wow, look at them go," Amy said as she was impressed by how skilled the older women were.
"Yes, they are impressive fighters in their own right," Cosmo said as they were going at high speed. Blocking, dodging, and attacking without giving pause.
Tiara is pumping up the cold in the room slowing Mina down but she uses Burst to emit her body in flames to heat herself from the cold. "Spike," Mina transforms into a spike ball to perform a spin dash to slam into Tiara but only hit a clone.
"Cold Snap," Tiara blasts her ice blasts until the speedy spike ball stops in its tracks. She kicks Mina to launch her into the air but she manages to regain her balance. She uses Hover to make her float in the air and she lets out a wave of energy to make Tiara float in the air.
Mina leaps at Tiara but the Manx lets out a blast of frost energy to knock Mina backward. Both females stop because they are both impressed by their skills.
"I can see why Sonic has so much trust in you. You are quite powerful," Tiara said.
"Thank you and you are very strong too," Mina said as they bowed their heads in respect for the girls to stop holding their breaths.
"Amazing Tiara, you were amazing out there. Oh, you too Mina," Amy said as she gushed over Tiara but gave Mina a halfhearted comment.
"Gee, crush much?" Mina teases as Amy blushes from this.
"Be quiet, Tiara is just so cool. I wanted to be just like her," Amy said with hearts in her eyes.
"Thanks, Amy. It's nice to hear that," Tiara said as they got into the locker room to wash off the sweat in the showers. They get back into their outfits to go back into the mall.
Mina hears her stomach growling. "Oh boy, I worked up quite the hungry. Let's get something to eat ladies," Mina said as four other women nodded their heads.
"Yes, I want some hamburgers myself," Cosmo said.
"Let's head for the food court and get in line," Amy said as the five girls went to the food court to see a ton of options. "Breakaway and we will sit here," Amy said as the girls split off.
Mina and Cream got to their table first for them to place their meals there. "Oh, that looks yummy," Cream said to spot Mina with three chili dogs, sweet potato fries, onion rings, and a large cup of lemonade.
"Yep, it's tasty and cheap too. The sandwich looks nice," Mina said as Cream has a grilled chicken panini along with a blueberry tea.
"Yes, it's very nice and good too," Cream said as she bit into it. "Warm and crispy," Cream said as Amy came in with her holding a tray filled with slices of pizza and breadsticks along with orange soda.
"I got a good haul here. This pizza is still steamy hot from the oven," Amy said as she bites into it. "So yummy," she said as Cosmo came in with double hamburgers with mint tea.
"This smells so delicious," Cosmo said as this made Cream confused.
"Do plant aliens like eating meat" Cream questioned.
"You do know their predator plants like Venus flytraps right?" Mina points out that Cream feels silly asking that question.
"You are right," Cream said as Tiara came in with a chocolate milkshake with chili fries and loaded potatoes.
"My line was killer, I got the goodies back before it got too much," Tiara said as the five gals enjoyed their meals while talking about the latest news or the cute outfits they noticed in the windows.
Cream points to the screen to see a report on weird creatures attacking a GUN prison where the Deadly Six are located. "This is breaking news; a group of unknown machines attacked a GUN prison complex and several inmates escaped especially the Deadly Six. Wait here for future updates," the reporter said.
"Well, that's not good," Cream said as Mina was not considered with this.
"Come on, without the Chaos Energy like the Master Emerald shards. They can easily have put them back in jail," Mina said as Tiara was concerned by this.
"I hope those demons don't track down the Chaos Rings. That would be horrible," Tiara said as rumors of those things spread across the world, and people who seek power would risk their lives to gain that massive amount of power.
"Anyway, we can deal with them later," Mina said as the girls managed to finish their meals to go back to see all the clothing shops with pretty dresses, outfits, and swimwear on display. "Some more lingerie would be nice," she said as she wished to light a fire in Sonic's groin with more sexy underwear she could buy.
"I want to buy some underwear to get Tails to notice me more," Cosmo said.
"Oh my, I can give you some good suggestions," Mina said as Amy felt left out.
"The curse of being single," Amy said as Tiara placed her hand on Amy's shoulder.
"It's okay to fly solo for a while. You are young, you have time for romance. Built yourself up and then you will be fine," Tiara said acting like a big sister to Amy.
"Oh, you are right. I need to train and practice my hammer swing to better myself as the leader of Team Rose," Amy said.
"That's more like it," Tiara said as she encouraged Amy to better herself.
Mina and Cosmo look over underwear to see Mina pick up a blue thong for she finds this interesting. "Hmm, I bet can make Sonic worship my booty with these things on me," Mina said.
"These look quite lacy," Cosmo said.
"Exactly, it's so pretty too. You need to spice up your wardrobe Cosmo," Mina said as Cosmos is blushing from all the risqué clothing on display.
"Oh, the lacy is nice. These silk ones look cute," Cosmo picks up a pair of blue silk panties.
"These are pretty nice, Tails will be all over you Cosmo," Mina said.
'Thank you, it's so nice to be with you all again," Cosmo said.
"Yeah, it's nice to have you back Cosmo. You are a very sweet girl; you deserve happiness and now you do. You are with your boyfriend Tails, friends like me, Amy and Cream and the others. A second chance to be with us and fight back against evil once again," Mina said.
"Yes I will not regret this and I am embracing this fully. It's so much fun just hanging out with you all at the mall," Cosmo said as Mina patted the back of the tall alien woman in a friendly gesture.
"Of course, it's always fun hanging out with Cosmo," Mina said as she put the alien girl's heart at ease.
"It means a lot coming from you Mina. I want to try on some outfits," Cosmo said.
"Okay, knock me on my feet," Mina said as Cosmo grabbed a bunch of clothing to go into a dressing to strip out of her dress to only be in her plain white underwear.
"Let's see what I can do," Cosmo said as she got out of the dressing room to sporting a simple orange t-shirt and blue jean skirt.
"Oh, that's very cute," Mina said as Cosmo switched to a simple yellow dress fitting her figure.
"How about this one?" she asked.
"Very nice, very fitting for you," Mina said as Cosmo nodded her head.
"Okay, I got this swimwear I want your opinion on," Cosmo takes off her underwear to put on the bathing suit.
"Shoot, I want to see," Mina said as Cosmo came out. Mina was knocked onto the floor to see Cosmo looking super beautiful in a blue frilly one-piece bathing suit fitting her tall shapely figure.
"Well, what do you think?" Cosmo asked.
"Wow, you look drop-dead gorgeous Cosmo," Mina commented on her beauty with Cosmo glowing in the face from her sweet words.
"Oh, you are too kind," Cosmo said.
'No really, Tails will be all over you if you wear that at the pool or beach. Pop Idol approved," Mina said.
'Thanks, Mina. Your comments mean a lot to me. I will pay for these," Cosmo said as she put back her clothing to put all her stuff onto the hangers.
The girls finished their shopping for the day had come to an end. "Wow, that was fun," Cream said.
"Yeah it was, I had a good time today," Tiara said.
"Well, I better get home. See you girls, later," Mina said as they all split off to head back home.
Elsewhere within a darkened computer room, a huge metal owl is watching through his drones to spy on different cities locating different subjects for his growing army. "Sir, we have detected the girl who is the descendant of your master Ivan Kintobor," a female voice said.
"Excellent EVE, her DNA is needed for the next phase of the master protocol. The revival of humankind at the top of the world and the Mobians will be needed as cheap labor to bring Humankind back to glory," the menacing voice said.
"Yes ADAM and with the Metal Virus in place. It will be the tool needed to replace the world order," EVE said as they both looked at a chamber filled with Mobian Bees.
"Please let us out," the Golden Hive Colony citizen begged as the two cold machines did not care about their helplessness. EVE pours clouds of nanites into the chamber to begin converting the Mobains into twisted cybernetic monstrosities.
"The Metal Virus is the ultimate weapon created by Doctor Ivan Kintobor. Project Rebirth has begun and Humankind will rise again with Mobians aka the genetic mistakes a thing of the past," ADAM said as the robotic owl looks at the screen of Hope Robotnik having plans for her.
