Chapter 33: Eurish Trip
A week has passed since the Metal Virus and ADAM were destroyed by Shadow via teleporting them into the sun. Some sort of peace has returned to the planet with the remaining Cyber creatures being destroyed by GUN and other Mobian Kingdoms.
Sonic has been gone for a week to help with cleaning up the mess ADAM has made with Mina sticking at home to relax but the missing Sonic hasn't spent time with her lately. "Oh Sonic," she thought as she was watching a movie for she saw a couple giving each other a passionate kiss.

"So, I wanted to tell you about something very weird when I was going through ADAM's bunker network," Nicole said.
"What's up?" Mina asked.
"I noticed a weird signal which activated ADAM does not come from this world," Nicole said as Mina was confused by this.
"Where did it come from?" Mina asked.
"It came from deep space which is pretty weird. There are no records of humans in the ancient pasts going beyond the solar system, There are human space stations and colonies in the Sol System like on Venus, Moon aka Luna, and Mars but nothing outside of it," Nicole said.
"Could be a glitch or something, nothing to worry about," Mina said.
"Yeah, it could be. Thankfully we managed to purge ADAM and his Metal Virus completely. The cities and their people are safe," Nicole said.
"Yes, some people were turned into monsters and others died but most people managed to survive this. Thank goodness," Mina said
"Yes, peace will come back somewhat. What are you two doing?" she asked.
"Well, we are going on vacation to Apotos," Mina said.
"Oh yes, it's very nice there at this time. I heard Saffron and Charmy went there to spend time there after our last mission," Nicole said.
"Cool, I hope I can see them there. See you later Nicole," Mina said.
Within the day, the duo grabbed their bags to head for the Station Square airport where Mina placed the Tornado in a private hangar. They put their bags into the bottom storage unit.
Sonic gets in the pilot seat with Mina getting into the co-pilot seat. "This setup makes it easier to get to the plane. Don't want to crowd into Tails' space," Mina said as they flew into the air to go high into the sky with clouds.
"Yeah, don't want to get into Tails' way when he gets busy with his inventions," Sonic said as he put on some goggles to cover up his eyes. Mina matches suit as they go to the landmass of Eurish.
"I really like Eurish is very unique. It used to be called Europe in the times of ancient humans, thankfully its beauty is intact. There used to be a lot of nations here but now they are just in the past," Mina said.
"Did they work together?" Sonic asked.
"Yeah, but throughout the years they fought a lot until two big wars happened. Then they worked together despite some rough patches. Nicole recovered a lot of data from Human history which was lost to time but we are lucky that Nicole copied ancient human history to give it to GUN. It would be a real shame for that history to go to waste," Mina said as her inner history buff spoke to sound excited about this.
"Seems interesting," Sonic said as they left Soumerca to head over the Northern Ocean to go to Eurish heading for Apotos which is in a region that used to be called Greece.
Within hours, Sonic and Mina got the plane to land at an airport in a private area. They are in the United Federation city of Apotos. Sonic spots the large windmills brushing against the winds. "Good to be back here," Sonic said as he slung his bag over his shoulder.
"Yeah, let's head for our hotel and set up. I want to get the ground running and see all the wonderful sights," Mina said as they went into the airport to see all the Mobians and Humans walking by to enjoy food or going to buy presents for their loved ones.
"This airport looks very nice, not looking too rundown," Mina said as she heard her stomach growling. "Oh my, you hungry?" she asked.
"A snack would be nice right now," Sonic said as they went over to a pretzel shop called Pretzel Run which has a good selection of snacks based on pretzels. "Oh boy, those pretzel dogs do look good," Sonic sounded excited to see fresh pretzel dogs on display through the glass.
"Indeed," Mina said as they both got their orders with Sonic getting two pretzel dogs with cherry lemonade and spicy mustard dipping sauce. Mina grabs a large cup filled with pepperoni pretzel nuggets and melon juice. Mina buys a cinnamon sugar pretzel for them to share.
"This is quite the haul," Sonic said for them to sit at a table to let out their spread. He bites into the pretzel dog with Mina grabs a nugget for she eats it. "This is pretty good," he said as Mina nods her head.
"Yes, this pretzel shop is a local brand. It's very fresh and warm unless other shops sell them pretty stale," Mina said.
"Yeah, I hate it when your food is not fresh but taken off some tray and slapped into the oven to be reheated," Sonic said.
"I know right but as long as it's good. It's what matters," Mina said as she spotted Charmy and Saffron nearby.
"Hey guys," Charmy said as he was looking pretty fine since he returned to normal almost infected by the Metal Virus. Thankfully Nicole saved him and Mina from that grim fate of becoming cybernetic monsters.
"Yo, hey Charmy. You are doing okay buddy," Sonic asked the young man as Charmy nodded his head to float with a lot of energy.
"Of course, thanks to Nicole. I am pretty good," Charmy said.
"Yep, my dear Charmy is back to his happy self," Saffron said lightly brushing her hand on Charmy's.
"Oh Saffron, not in front of the others," Charmy said embarrassed.
"Come on, don't act tough. You like it when I butter you up," Saffron said to kiss him on the cheek.
"Looking cool Charmy," Sonic teases him as Mina giggles at them being so cute together.
"Gee, you guys," Charmy said. "But I heard about all of Saffron going on an adventure with you guys to try to save our people," he said.
"Yep, your girl is pretty brave trying to help us," Sonic said.
"Yeah, I was scared but seeing you in pain like that was even worse along with our people suffering from the attack of those cybernetic monsters made by ADAM. I stepped up and helped stop that madness to bring some sort of peace here for now," Saffron said as Charmy grabbed onto her tiny hands to look into her eyes.
"You are the best Saffron," Charmy said.
"Hey, I am going to be your wife in the future. I need to look out for you," Saffron noticed Charmy looking at Mina's cinnamon pretzel. "No sugar," Saffron said as Charmy looked disappointed.
"Oh come on Saffron, I want a snack," Charmy said.
"No, Vector says you need to lay off the sugar. I agree," Saffron said as Charmy shook his head.
"Okay, so you two are on a date or something?" Charmy asked.
"Yep, hanging out in Apotos which I haven't been to in a long time," Sonic said.
"Oh, that is sweet. You can go to the Apotos City Zoo, their elephants are so cute there," Saffron said.
"Well, we better get going. Have a good time," Charmy said as the cute little bees flew off in the other direction.
"I am glad Charmy turned out okay," Sonic said.
"Yeah, he and I turned out well. Let's dig into our snacks," Mina said as they finished their pretzels for them to enjoy. "Oh boy, that was tasty," Mina said.
"Yeah, those dogs hit the spot," Sonic said as Mina shared her cinnamon pretzel to break it in half.
"We can share this, it smells pretty good," Mina said as they took a bite into it. "Oh my, this is tickling my taste buds," Mina said as Sonic shared this same delight.
"Yeah, this is smashing my tongue into dust," Sonic said as they finished their snacks to head out of the airport with bags in hand to get into the city to be greeted by the white marble buildings, beautiful coastlines, graceful windmills in the hills nearby and the open friendly environment. "Good to be back," Sonic said as both of them were amazed by the city's beauty.
"Yes, it's good to be back. Come on, let's go to our hotel," Mina said as they sped towards their hotel complex to see it's just as pretty as the surrounding buildings.
"Very impressive," Sonic said as they went into the huge lobby to check in and grab their card keys.
"Enjoy your stay in our beautiful town of Apotos, you two," the clerk said as they swiftly headed for their room to see it's quite nice.
"I paid on this nice little pad for us to enjoy. It's like the other hotel we went to before but in a different style," Mina said as Sonic looked around to whistle to enjoy it.
"Quite nice," Sonic sets down his bag on the couch in the living room. "We should set up here and head out to see the town," he said.
"Of course, we can go to the zoo. There is an arcade and a boat ride around the Emerald Sea," Mina said as she explained that the Emerald Sea was once called the Mediterranean Sea but has become smaller due to the planet's climate changing in the past.
"Why is it called the emerald sea?" he asked.
"It's due to the special algae that grew there only. They feed on the sunlight and spew out a bright green glow which gives this sea its unique name," Mina said as she put her bag down for she is fixed up her hair.
"You look cute today," he said as Mina smiled at this. She is sporting a white tank top, a blue skirt reaching her knees, and white sneakers while her hair is tied in a ponytail.
"Thanks, cutie, you are pretty handsome here. Come on, we'll run to the zoo and see the cute animals," Mina said for them to run towards the Apotos City Zoo.
They reached the gates to see it's a large area with various sections where zookeepers take care of the animals and display them for the public to enjoy and educate. Both of them see to the side a new animal display in the Mammal House.
"So colorful and vivid," Mina said as she felt happy with the duo going inside the grounds to see so many places to look at. "One of the biggest zoos in the world, where all the exotic animals are here to be enjoyed by folks," Mina said as they saw a ton of families and others checking out the exhibits.
Sonic noticed all the guards wandering the streets. "Gee, pretty tight here," Sonic said.
"Of course, things are getting rough. There are no movements with Naugus or other bad guys lately but better safe than sorry. Let's see some cool animals," Mina said as she jumped for joy.
"Yeah, let's go to the reptile house," Sonic said as they went off to see a building that had a sign of a large white alligator on top of it. "This is interesting," he said as they went inside to see the place inside in dim with glass displays showing the different animals.
The lovely couple goes to a glass display showing off a brightly red lizard with blue rings on its tail.
"Nice rings on its body," Sonic said as Mina looked over to the panel to see the animal and the information on it.
"Oh. This is a blue-ringed Lizard. They are native to the Great Bamboo Forest in Yurashia, they are quite poisonous. Enough poison to drop a whole elephant four times over," Mina said as Sonic looked on in disbelief.
"Seriously, sounds like a serious case of overkill," Sonic said.
"Yeah, that is the point. It's so deadly in its toxins, that no predator alive wants to eat it. Their poison is very useful for underground elements along with evil businesspeople getting rid of their rivals," Mina said.
"Yeah, that is nuts," Sonic said as they moved through the building to see more reptiles finding another case to see a rough-looking lizard sitting on a log within its enclosed habitat. "What is this?" Sonic wondered as Mina looked at the panel.
"This is a Thorny Lizard. They are native to Efrika's vast deserts and use their long tongues to eat the large amounts of desert flies there," Mina said as the lizard was lying on the log which fell asleep.
"It's so spiky," Sonic said as he wanted to poke the lizard but she couldn't due to the signs to keep their hands off the animals.
"Prevents predators from eating them, just like a hedgehog's quills," Mina said playfully tapping his top quill as they went to another exhibit to see a large lizard in a nicely made cage.
"Oh, it's so big," Sonic said as Mina looked at the sign to see what it was.
"This is a Gaia Monitor, they come from a chain of islands in the Emerald Sea. A very weird place where animals are super-sized due to the extreme conditions," Mina said.
"Why so big on those small islands?" he asked as the large lizard let out a big hiss to scare a little human boy nearby.
"It's due to its conditions that allow them to grow huge to aid them to survive in those situations," Mina said as they got out of the exhibit to go to another one called mammal house. "Oh, this is where the Pandas are held. You are going to love them, they are so cute," Mina sounded excited.
They go into the building to see large habitats filled with all sorts of animals being happy and content within their spaced-out enclosed areas. "Oh man, that bear is huge," Sonic said as two brown-furred bears were swimming in their pool.
"Those are Cave Bears, the biggest bear species in the world. They were almost wiped out a long time ago via hunting for their rich furs," Mina said as it stood over 7 feet tall while standing on all fours.
"Gee, glad I don't have to fight that," Sonic said.
"Thankfully, we managed to preserve them and help them get back into nature. Despite their size, they are quite gentle creatures, just don't get into their space or they will rip your face off," Mina said with her eyes lighting up. "Speaking of bears," Mina grabs Sonic's hand to drag him into the Panda area.
They all see a bunch of fuzzy white and black bears sitting in the habitat eating some bamboo sticks. "Look at them, are they so cute," Mina said as Sonic looked at the animals thinking they looked silly.
"Oh, they look cute alright but they look kind of dopey," Sonic said as Mina pouted at him.
"Come on, there are natural treasures in my homeland. You should respect them," Mina said as Sonic looked at the panel with info on the Panda.
"These things are endangered and their only food is bamboo," Sonic said as Mina was saddened by this.
"Yes, people are illegally mowing down bamboo forests to make more farms and foundries. It doesn't help that Pandas are very unyielding when it comes to mating. Repopulating them I am hearing is very hard to pull off," Mina said.
"Hey, people are helping them back on their feet. At least they got people having their backs," Sonic said as Mina was happy hearing that.
"Yes, they do. Many people care more about the animals and the habitats they live in due to technology making it much harder to justify cutting their homes down. Greedy people are just being dicks to harmless creatures," Mina said as she shows a deep mistrust of big business types like Breezie and folks like her.
"Yeah, thankfully those guys are getting smaller by the day. No room for jerks like that," Sonic said.
"Yeah, come on. Let's see more," Mina said as they went to another exhibit to see a ferret while also seeing a Mobian Ferret being curious about the normal Ferret.
"Man, it's wild what ADAM said about Mobians and Humans being related via DNA," Sonic said.
"Yes it was but we know a mystery solved within this big o' world of ours. I don't think it would be good to drop this on everyone. The whole Mobians being made by mistake via alien bio bombs would be pretty mind-blown, to say the least," Mina said.
"Yeah, but how does it work? Mobians being a subspecies of Humans," Sonic said.
"Oh, it's like the differences between a wolf and a dog. Humans are the wolves and Mobians are the dogs. Mobians are more related to humans than we are to our original animal roots. Humans and Mobians can interbreed like wolves and dogs making viable offspring. Demi-humans and Wolf Dogs are things in our world who can make viable offspring as well," Mina explained as Sonic understood despite her going into her bookworm mode.
"Makes sense," Sonic noticed a zookeeper who was a Demi-Human for she was a female human who had cat-like features like ears, a long furry tail sticking out the hole in her jeans, and sharp claws.
"They live normal happy lives despite the prejudice they faced in the past," Mina said as they moved out of the mammal house to see a familiar face.
"Hello there, you two. Been a while," Jewel greeted them to be in a blue dress.
"Welcome Jewel, you are enjoying the sights here?" Mina asked.
"Of course, I was catching up with my friend Saffron. The Golden Hive Colony is doing well despite ADAM's attacks with his metal monsters," she said.
"That's good to hear about," Sonic said.
"Nicole sent me some data from the archives from ADAM's bunker. It's all the history of humanity before those Gene Bombs fell onto this planet when it was once called Earth. It's very impressive and will aid in preserving the history of the human race," the flying beetle is pretty excited to look this over. "Oh, I didn't get any more leads on the echidna cities of interest as of late," Jewel said.
"Keep me posted, we still need to find Albion and prevent that wizard from finding that hidden army," Mina said.
"Of course, I hope you two have a wonderful date," Jewel flies off as they hear Mina's belly roaring out with her furry face glowing red. "Oh boy, I am pretty hungry," Mina said patting her stomach.
"Well, there should be a diner nearby," Sonic said.
"You willing to join a lady in a nice meal?" she asked in a lighthearted tone.
"Of course, it would be rude otherwise," he said sharing the lightheartedness as she offered him a bright smile.
"Good, let's go," Mina said to go to the diner which is called Wonderous Feasts from the big neon sign on top of the building. "Looks very pleasant," Mina said as the duo came into the diner to see a bunch of people eating in booths.
"Hey there, welcome to Wonderous Feasts. Pick a booth, one of my waitresses will come to you soon," the owner said as the duo looked inside to see the wall look pretty worn out but clean and comfortable. The smells of various dishes dance within the air as Mina takes in the scent for her nose is twitching with delight.
"Oh, this smells wonderful," she said as they picked a booth with them sitting opposite each other. They both look down to see a menu of several dishes made of chicken, beef, or pork.
"A good selection of foods here, I never had a gyro before," Sonic said as Mina raised her eyebrow in puzzlement.
"You never had Gyro before?" she asked as Sonic shook his head.
"Nope, not at all," Sonic said.
"Well, you are in luck. You can try one, trust me it's very good. I am a cultured woman of exotic tastes and smells," Mina said in a joking manner.
"Indeed, it is," a friendly human waitress comes in holding a tablet. "You ready to order lovebirds?" she teases them as they both glow red.
"Yes, I will have a buttered chicken cutlet with a side of mashed potatoes along with green tea," she said.
"What about you sir?" the waitress asked.
"I will have the grilled steak gyro with mashed potatoes as well. Get me berry juice for me," Sonic said as the waitress finished writing the orders on a tablet.
"Okay, I will bring your drinks first," she said to shortly come and go to bring them the glasses filled with tea. "Here you go, your food will be here shortly," the waitress said.
"Thank you, madam," Mina said to see various families and couples enjoying the food around them. "Seems so cozy," she said to like all of this.
"Indeed," Sonic said as they saw the human waitress coming in with plates of warm food.
"Enjoy," she said as the duo looked on to see how good the food was.
"This is good," Mina said as she took her fork to take a bite of her cutlet her mouth exploding with flavor. "Wow, this is pretty good, how about you?" she asked as Sonic took a bite from his steak gyro to instantly like it.
"This beef is great," Sonic said as he continued to eat it down.
"I am glad you like it," Mina said as they enjoyed their meal with Sonic dropping his fork under the table.
"Oh shit, I dropped it," Sonic said going under the table to try and find it to look upon something pleasant like her thighs and her panties. "Wow," he thought staring under her skirt.

"Look, they got all sorts of stuff here," Sonic said as Mina looked at the crane games there holding all kinds of plush toys inside.
"Oh look, they have a Sonic plush inside," Mina spots on top of a pile of other toys.
"Looks like a dopey," Sonic said as he didn't think they did get her good side.
"But it's a mini you and it's cute because of you. I going to get it," Mina said as she slid her card onto the slot to allow her five tries until they go anymore.
"Your old fangirl is showing," Sonic teases her as Mina flushes from this.
"Hey, allow me to fangirl out every once in a while," Mina said as she began to use the claw trying to get her Sonic plush but she failed. "Damn it," she cursed as she tries again but no dice.
"You need help babe?" he asked.
"I got this," Mina keeps failing until she is on her last try. "Come on, come on," Mina using the claw to grab the Sonic plush. She manages to grab the plush for she feels proud of herself and then it slips from the claw making her feel defeated. "Gee, my rotten luck," Mina said feeling disappointed.
"Let me go for a spin," Sonic said as he used his card to gain five tries. He manages to grab the Sonic plush in the second go and wins it. "Here you go," Sonic said to hand her the cute little plush of himself.
"Thank you, baby. You are so adorable," Mina looks at the Sonic doll. "Despite it being a bit dopey," he said as she placed it into her bag. They go inside the arcade to see an assortment of games of sorts. "So cool," Mina said as she made note of some racing games nearby.
"Come on, whoever wins the most games gets dessert for free," Mina said.
"I love winning free food. Ready to lose babe," Sonic said getting cocky.
"Prepare to kiss my ass Sonic," Mina said.
"I already do that, Mina," Sonic teases her as Mina gets red in the face.
"You know what I mean," Mina is bashful as Sonic thinks this is super cute being embarrassed like that. The duo was playing some games trying to compete to see who gets free ice cream. Within 30 minutes, Sonic and Mina win two games each with the last game being the tiebreaker.
"Time to end this," Sonic said.
"That's my line," Mina said as they go hard onto the hoops tossing basketballs into the baskets as fast and precise as possible. Then the time ends with Sonic managing to beat Mina by 2 points.
"Hot damn, I win," Sonic said tapping his finger on her little black nose.
"Well, I tried my best. You win sweetheart. I will give you ice cream, what do they sell here?" she asked.
"Oh, they got this amazing ice cream called Sundae Supreme. You can try it out," Sonic said.
"Sounds yummy, I will do that," Mina said as the duo headed for the ice cream vendor for the Demi-Human manning the food cart.
"Hey there, what can I do you for?" she asked as Sonic and Mina saw she had traits of a Dog Mobian with ears, a tail, and patches of black skin all over his body acting like spots.
"Hey, do you know a big human who was an ice cream vendor with a big mustache?" Sonic asked.
"Oh, you must be talking about my boss. He was a once humble vendor like myself but now he owns his own ice cream business here in lovely Apotos," the Demi-Human said.
"Oh that's good, I am glad he is doing okay," Sonic said.
"Well, do you want to taste our delicious Sundae Supreme?" the female Demi-Human asked as Mina nodded her head to place some credits onto the food stand. "Excellent, here you go. Enjoy," she said as Mina was amazed by all the things on top of the cone.
"Wow, there is so much stuff here," Mina said as she licked the chocolate chip on top of the strawberry scoop which tickled her taste buds. "Oh my, it's amazing," Mina said.
"Told you so, come on. Let's get on the ferry boats and go around the islands in the Emerald Sea," Sonic said.
"Of course, the view would be lovely out there," Mina said as they ate their ice cream while they waited by the docks to see GUN Airships in the distance guarding the borders of the city. They get on board one of the ferry boats to be on the Emerald Sea.
"This is a view," Sonic said as Mina had almost eaten half her ice cream to look at the horizon.
"So beautiful," Mina said.
"I say you are the true beauty to look at here," Sonic said smoothly making Mina's heart race.
"Gee, such a wordsmith," Mina said as they just looked at the water's edge making a green shine against the sun. Mina's long hair danced against the winds like a ribbon twisting in an artful display. Sonic looks at this as if it were a painting taking place in real time.
"Wow," he thought stunned by this as Mina looked over to see his goofy expression.
"See something you like?" she teased as she finished up her Sundae Supreme to eat up the rest of the ice cream cone.
"Yeah, you babe. I am very lucky," Sonic said as she kissed him on the cheek.
"I know, I am lucky too. This is so wonderful, why can't it be like this every day," Mina said as they saw pygmy whales leaping out of the water's surface. "So cute," she said as she was taking pictures with her phone.
Soon, they reach back to the docks to head back to the hotel for the rest of the vacation goes on without a fuss.
