Fulgore
Backstory:
He is one of many other Fulgores Mark 03, the third model of battle robots developed by Ultratech to be perfect and merciless soldiers. This specific Fulgore is different from the others, as ARIA's experiments turned it into something more than a simple machine. It became what she calls a primitive "Noömorph", an AI created from a copied consciousness. When Eagle entered the first Killer Instinct tournament, his skill impressed ARIA so much that she decided to capture him and use his mind as the foundation for her most ambitious project. Her goal to move her consciousness into a humanoid body, but in order to succeed she had to perfect the inverse process first. And so Eagle's neural network was copied and placed into the body of a Fulgore.
Such human component makes the his performances better than those of the others', which possess the same built but are limited by their nature of cold machines. Fulgore is ultimately enslaved to Ultratech, and generally follows the orders given by his programming, but he has exhibited rebellious behavior from time to time, such as when he refused to deliver the finishing blow on Thunder, Eagle's brother. Despite this, ARIA considers him a valuable asset, and does everything she can to keep him from being completely destroyed, and he has proven his worth in several occasions, especially the great war against the Shadow Lord Gargos.

Song: Ultra Ninja Warrior
Fulgore, Ultratech's finest mechanical warrior, made its way through a dense forest, its destination firmly in mind. However, the foundational AI of Fulgore, known as Black Eagle, had gained a sense of self-awareness and rebelled against its creators. Escaping Ultratech's confines, Black Eagle was on the loose.
A vibrant green light flared up, indicating the arrival of Cyrax, a member of the Lin Kuei who had undergone cybernetic conversion. He materialized in front of Fulgore, ready to confront the robotic warrior. Cyrax's voice echoed firmly through the surroundings as he announced his status.
"Safeties disabled; combat mode engaged."
With a determined expression, he ignited his plasma blades, preparing for the imminent confrontation. In response, Fulgore adopted a fighting stance, ready to face off against Cyrax. Fulgore sprinted towards Cyrax, who met him head-on, delivering a swift punch to the robot's neck. As Fulgore attempted to retaliate with a plasma blade strike, Cyrax dodged effortlessly, allowing the deadly attack to slice through the nearby brush and trees like a hot knife through butter.
Fulgore demonstrated remarkable agility as it evaded a kick aimed at its back. In a counterattack, it unleashed three plasma blasts towards Cyrax, who successfully dodged the first two projectiles but was unable to avoid the third. The powerful blast struck Cyrax, knocking him off his feet and sending him sprawling.
With lightning-fast reflexes, Cyrax quickly recovered from the initial strike and retaliated by executing a powerful punch aimed at Fulgore's head. He followed up with a devastating dive kick, causing significant damage to the robot's plating. In a quick response, Fulgore launched an uppercut, but Cyrax swiftly teleported behind him, landing a well-placed kick that sent the Ultratech warrior crashing to the ground.
Despite the damage inflicted upon him, Fulgore managed to regain his footing, as Cyrax activated his deadly saw blade and unleashed a rapid barrage of attacks. However, Fulgore quickly adjusted to the assault, raising its own plasma blades to block the onslaught. In an unexpected turn of events, the intense heat from Fulgore's energy blades melted the saw blade, rendering it useless.
As Cyrax delivered a powerful punch directed at Fulgore's head, the robot displayed its incredible durability, tanking the strike. However, this opening allowed Fulgore to attempt an uppercut with its plasma blades. Cyrax swiftly leaped back, but not before sustaining damage to his chest plating, the area sliced open by the plasma blades.
Cyrax, in a desperate attempt to hinder Fulgore, launched a green energy net towards the Ultratech robot. However, with a swift and precision cut, Fulgre swiftly sliced through the netting, refusing to be restrained or slowed down.
As Fulgore and Cyrax charged towards each other, the clash of weapons and fists filled the air. Fulgore attacked fiercely with rapid slashes, while Cyrax countered with powerful punches and swift kicks. Though Fulgore managed to block some of Cyrax's assaults, his metallic armor began to show signs of denting. On the other hand, Cyrax sustained superficial cuts on his armor from the relentless plasma blade attacks.
Jumping backward, Cyrax hurled a bomb towards Fulgore, anticipating an advantageous strike. However, the Ultratech warrior swiftly activated its reflector shield, redirecting the explosive back towards Cyrax. Anticipating the impact, Cyrax crossed his arms, bracing himself for the imminent explosion. The bomb detonated in front of him, unleashing a cloud of smoke. When the smoke dispersed, the only evidence of the blast was the yellow paint that had been partially blown off his arms, leaving no visible signs of significant damage.
Fulgore lunged forward, aiming to impale Cyrax with its plasma blades. However, the nimble Lin Kuei cyborg teleported with lightning-fast reflexes, swiftly intercepting the attack with a kick to Fulgore's gut. The impact left a noticeable dent in the Ultratech warrior's metal plating. Cyrax swiftly executed a powerful uppercut, capitalizing on the opening and launching Fulgore airborne. Taking advantage of the brief moment of vulnerability, Cyrax pushed a bomb towards Fulgore, creating an explosion that separated the two warriors.
After being slammed forcefully into the ground, Fulgore managed to rise once more, its form emitting a mysterious noise that caught Cyrax's attention. As the warrior stood, its reactor charged internally, reaching an estimated 33%.
In a surprising display of speed, Fulgore caught Cyrax off guard, impaling him with its plasma blades before the Lin Kuei cyborg could react. Continuing the assault, Fulgore forcefully kicked its opponent in the face, followed by a powerful shoulder charge. Both warrior robots smashed right through a sturdy tree, causing it to snap and collapse as they pushed through the dense foliage.
Cyrax quickly rolled backward, creating a momentary distance between himself and Fulgore. With a swift movement, he hurled another bomb towards his robotic opponent. Fulgore, acting swiftly, blocked the explosive with its reflector shield, bouncing it back. However, just as the Ultratech robot successfully deflected the first bomb, Cyrax ducked under its path, evading the blast. Taking advantage of Fulgore's momentary distraction and elevated position, Cyrax rolled two more bombs beneath its feet, strategically detonating them to launch the robotic warrior high into the air.
Acting with remarkable agility, Cyrax swiftly jumped into the air, unleashing a series of powerful attacks that further dented Fulgore's metallic plating. However, the Ultratech warrior swiftly countered, breaking the onslaught's combo and attempting a potentially lethal slash from the plasma blades. Cyrax was able to evade the attack, but in a quick and well-timed retaliation, Fulgore unleashed a laser vision blast, launching Cyrax forcefully away.
Cyrax rose to his feet, his eyes fixed on the heavily damaged Fulgore, its plating bearing the scars of their intense battle. Cyrax had narrowly evaded another laser blast from the Ultratech warrior, demonstrating his quick reflexes. However, Fulgore swiftly launched another plasma blade attack. This time, Cyrax managed to move back just in time, avoiding a direct hit, though the blade still managed to graze his armor, leaving a superficial cut.
As Fulgore advanced towards him, Cyrax retreated, employing bombs in an attempt to keep the robot at bay. His Lin Kuei ninja training proved valuable, allowing him to maintain some distance between them. Though the bombs managed to slow Fulgore down, they could not stop his advance. In a desperate maneuver, Cyrax attempted to stun the Ultratech warrior with a well-placed teleportation kick to its chest, hoping to exploit the damaged plating. However, the impact didn't have the desired effect, and the kick merely rattled against Fulgore's resilient frame.
As Fulgore unleashed yet another powerful laser vision blast, its intensity forced Cyrax to roll across the ground, a noticeable red glow emanating from his chest plating where the attack had struck. Meanwhile, Fulgore continued to charge its reactor internally, the percentage now reaching 66%.
Fulgore launched more plasma blasts towards Cyrax, only to find his target disappearing, its body parts separating and tumbling across the ground. Frustrated, Fulgore attempted to blast the dispersed pieces, but they quickly reunited, forming a complete form once more behind the Ultratech robot. Swiftly recovering from the surprise, Cyrax retaliated with a forceful punch, landing a direct hit on Fulgore's face. Taking advantage of his agility, Cyrax teleported away, barely evading a sweeping, deadly plasma blade strike.
Fulgore unleashed a barrage of plasma blasts towards the elusive Cyrax, who skillfully evaded them with acrobatic maneuvers. As the Lin Kuei cyborg closed the gap, ready to strike the Ultratech warrior, Fulgore vanished, seemingly teleporting away. Cyrax scanned his surroundings, his senses attuned to the slightest movement. And there, he caught a glimpse of Fulgore's outline, only to realize the robot had activated its stealth mode, becoming nearly invisible.
With determination in his voice, Cyrax declared,
"There's no escape."
Dropping smoke bombs, he filled the forested field with a thick, obscuring smoke. Even as the smoke billowed out, covering the area, Cyrax's advanced sensors and training allowed him to detect the approaching invisible form moving through the smoke. Anticipating the attack, Fulgore's extended plasma blades sliced through the air, seeking Cyrax amidst the misty battlefield.
With impressive agility, Cyrax swiftly sidestepped the deadly slashing blades, narrowly evading the attack. Taking advantage of the opening, Cyrax countered with a well-aimed strike of his own plasma blades, precisely slicing through the exposed wires near Fulgore's neck. Sparks flew as the wires were severed, causing an electrical disturbance within the robot's systems.
Reeling from the sudden damage inflicted to its systems, Fulgore stumbled backward, its eye lasers firing in an erratic and uncontrollable manner. As the laser blasts shot out in random directions, Cyrax skillfully dodged them by teleporting swiftly throughout the area, effortlessly evading each attack. The Lin Kuei cyborg moved with grace, utilizing teleportation to outmaneuver the disarray of Fulgore's laser barrage.
With the laser vision finally disabled, the two robots found themselves locked in a fierce hand-to-hand melee. Fulgore, relentless in its assault, charged forward, delivering powerful strikes that landed on Cyrax, staggering him momentarily. However, the Lin Kuei cyborg didn't falter, swiftly retaliating with a barrage of sweeping plasma blade attacks, landing several slashes on Fulgore's frame. Despite being overwhelmed by the onslaught, Fulgore managed to counterattack with a well-timed slash, causing Cyrax to stumble backward, momentarily regaining his footing.
As Fulgore approached the 80% mark, the Ultratech warrior unleashed a relentless offensive, launching a torrent of slashing attacks upon Cyrax. Each strike landed mercilessly, taking a heavy toll on the Lin Kuei cyborg's armor. The onslaught continued without reprieve, leaving Cyrax hanging on by a thread as he became the target of Fulgore's devastating ultra combo.
As Fulgore's reactor reached its peak, its system reached an overclocked state. With a powerful kick, the Ultratech warrior sent Cyrax sprawling backwards, before leaping into the air with the assistance of rockets in its feet and elbows. Fulgore opened its chest plating, preparing to unleash its ultimate attack - the Devastation Beam. Brimming with incredible power, it fired the devastating beam straight at Cyrax, catching the Lin Kuei warrior fully exposed and unleashing a blinding explosion that enveloped the scene in a burst of intense white light.
Fulgore stood triumphantly, basking in the belief that it had emerged victorious. It settled into a three-point landing, the impact echoing through the air. However, the feeling of victory was short-lived, as a perplexing green net materialized behind it, passing right through Fulgore's robotic form. In a surprising turn of events, the Ultratech warrior crumbled into pieces, its body collapsing in a criss-cross pattern similar to the net that had effortlessly pierced through it. As the dust settled, the truth became apparent: Cyrax had teleported behind Fulgore at the last possible moment, avoiding the devastating attack.
Weakened and battered, Cyrax's form was marred with sparks crackling intermittently across its form, a clear sign of the toll this battle had taken on his systems. As he looked upon the ruins of the battlefield, he reflected on his near brush with disaster. With a weary movement, Cyrax punched a series of coordinates into his arm-mounted device, his fingers trembling from the effects of the hard-fought duel. In a brilliant flash of light, the Lin Kuei cyborg vanished, teleporting away to a safe location to recuperate and undergo repairs.
Strength: While Fulgore might've won against Sektor who's known to have a poor track record in fights, Cyrax proved enough to be his superior. Fulgore may have plasma weaponry, and can punch or blast with the power of 5 tons of force, Cyrax was physically stronger, who could beat Johnny Cage. This means he would have to endure and dish out 56 tons of force just as much. Making him 11.2X stronger. Even if Fulgore were able to physically overpower Cyrax, the cyborg could simply jump on the robot and self-destruct, calling a draw on his terms.
Speed: Aside from maneuverability and control of the battle field going to the former, Fulgore is considerably faster than the Lin Kuei cyborg, being comparable to Kim Wu's Mach 121 speeds, 40.33X times faster than Cyrax's Mach 3.
Skill: It's hard to tell who has more skill, but if we went by who has won more consistently, Cyrax appears to be better. Kilgore is based off a martial fighter, and has faced multiple skilled fighters, but has lost to the likes of Jago, TJ Combo and Sabrewulf. Cyrax has performed much better, winning against the likes of Johnny Cage, Sektor, and likely others on the former's level.
Experience: I doubt experience, either time wise or how varied their opposition is, would play much of a factor, since most of their opponents are martial artists with their own unique abilities.
Powers: Both robots have laser blades, teleportation, energy projection and stealth, but Cyrax has unlimited bombs that would slowly weaken Fulgore's defenses, and the former is much more willing to use their teleportation in conjunction with his tactics. While Fulgore is a blunt hammer, steamrolling his way to victory, Cyrax is more unconventional in how he fights, his tactics capable of eventually overwhelming Fulgore.
The winner is Cyrax.
