Charles LaDuke is a lot more devious than he lets on and unable to get Ben on murder charges he instead kidnaps his youngest son and is never seen again. Joseph Cartwright is never seen again either at least until Adam hires a new hand and his motherless children (by accident).

It has been many years since Jamie Hunter Cartwright was adopted by Ben Cartwright of the famous Ponderosa Ranch. Jamie is now married to his beloved Neta. Another parody involving the Cartwrong family and their cook/housekeeper Hi Lo. Making appearances are Louisa Lou Langley, cousing Badman Cartwrong and Pipsqueak Pete's other half-brother Cool Stuffitt. The two younger Cartwrong brothers have yet another plan to make some money, but as usual, it all turns out to be a big goose egg.

Each of Ben Cartwright's sons had a meeting with Ole Daniel. Only Hoss realized the danger they faced when they did. This was my submission for an October Halloween Challenge.

A WHI for The Trouble with Jamie. This is an entirely self-indulgent story, working as a kind of therapy for me in a struggle against anorexia. I felt Jamie's upbringing was appalling with not only a lack of discipline but a complete absence of love. His bad behaviour was a reaction to this. He becomes ill and the Cartwrights try to care for him. Jamie has many lessons to learn.

Adam Cartwright lost two mothers before turning seven and spent his childhood with a father intent on taming the Wild West for his sons. Ben Cartwright only has one purpose in life - keeping his son safe. Contains violence; the story does take place in the Wild West.

Cannon refers to Ben leaving the Ponderosa for a time after Marie's death. This presents a possible explanation of how Adam managed during that time. (This is an Old Ned- my oc - story.

The Cartwrongs have this biiiiig ranch in an unamed state in the Old West. The father and his three sons are red-blooded males and the females in the environs know that. When a beautiful woman is rescued and brought to their "Ponderous Ranch" ranch house, things get a little heated. This is a one-shot story.

This is a collection of five vignettes that allow the reader to decide which Cartwright is the central character. You are free to picture your favorite Cartwright in each scenario or look for the nuances that might reveal each character's identity. Be warned that much remains a mystery and proceed only if that strikes your fancy.
