Prompt: "I never, ever want to hear you say that again."
Pru smirked without even looking up from the files on the desk in front of her. "What's up, Parker?"
"Whoa, how did you know?"
The manager snorted before looking up at the thief. "You know, I gave up trying to figure out how I am able to do things a long time ago. Not to mention, working with you lot over the past year has gotten me used to how you all work, so to speak."
Parker cocked her head to the side with a slightly confused look on her face. "So, you just felt my presence?"
"That's putting it simply, but, in a nutshell, yeah. Each of you present yourselves in different ways and I guess that I've picked up on all of the team's subtleties." Pru frowned and shook her head. "We've gotten off topic. What can I do for you, Parker?"
The thief grinned as she bounced around to lean back against the desk. "Oh, Hardison just told me that you wanted to speak with me."
Pru rolled her eyes as she put down her pen, leaned back, and smirked at her friend. "Yeah, actually, I do. First off, I would really like to applaud you on your creative thinking skills when it came to directing Alec through riddles so that Agent McSweeten didn't figure it out. Secondly," Pru (quickly) schooled her facial features and gave the thief a very serious look. "I never, ever want to hear you say any of that ever again."
Both women just looked at each other for a few minutes, refraining from smiling or laughing, before Parker began to smile. Soon enough, both of them were practically cackling at each other. And that was how Eliot found the two of them about ten minutes later; refusing to look at each other (Parker had moved over to the kitchen by that point, but it hadn't helped) for the fear of laughing once again. The hitter rolled his eyes and shook his head at them. "Do I even want to know?"
Pru chuckled slightly before shaking her own head. "Nope. What can I do for you?"
"Want to come with me to get some groceries?"
"And avoid filling out even more ridiculous papers that Alec gives me under the guise of necessary paperwork, even though that is nonsense? Let's go!"
