Another day, another date for Amy and Blaze. This time Blaze takes Amy somewhere near where she lives. A small restaurant. A diner even if you call it that. Amy arrives and Blaze greets her then they head out to the close building. Going in and sitting down. Amy almost waits for a second before realizing that Blaze has kept going and they can sit down. They sit down at a table, waiting for a person to collect their order.

"Nice place you picked out"

"It's the only place."

"Still nice"

"It's not like I could've picked another place." Blaze says with a smug face

"Ha ha" Amy fake laughs

"It's still nice" Amy says

The two wait a bit more before the waitress comes and collects their order for their drinks.

"What can I get you two?" The waitress asks.

"Ginger ale." Blaze states.

"A cola for me" Amy says

"Coming right up!"

The Waitress goes for their drinks, and doesn't take her too long. There's seemingly one other person in the entire building. At least that they can see. She comes back with their drinks quickly and efficiently. Only taking a bit with the small restaurant and the lack of customers and servers and any other lack or size of things around this place.

"Here ya two go!" The waitress says extremely happily.

"Thank you" "Thanks"

"What can I get you two to eat?"

The two get their order taken and the waitress goes up to put the order then off to take care of the only other customer in the diner. The emptiness makes for a unique ambiance and style for the small building. Quiet yet not too quiet, as you can still hear the building running a bit and the stoves going.

"Nice staff" Amy happily says

"Yeah. Maybe a bit too nice." Blaze puts her finger to her lips. This comment confuses Amy, a lot

"You can't be serious" Amy looks flatly at her girlfriend

"It's probably for tips." Blaze suggests

"Well if she's that good of an actor maybe we should give her a bigger tip" Amy says putting her comment in

"We shouldn't be tipping her anything, the restaurant should be paying her for her work instead of all this tip nonsense."

"Blaze please don't go into tipping culture and all its flaws"

"Already there."

While Blaze rants with an annoyed Amy on the other side of the table. Their food is being cool and prepared. After a while it is served. The waitress takes it and goes for the two still at their table.

"And that's why-"

"Here you go!" The cheerful waitress says, cutting Blaze off.

"Thanks" "Thank You"

"Are you done yet?"

"Only because the food is here."

"Fine" Amy chuckles at her girlfriend

The two eat their meals. Only breaking the process to say something or ask something to the other. It takes them a bit too eat. Blaze has seemingly picked up on Amy's slower eating habits. Blaze doesn't seem to notice or mind though. They keeps eating until all of it is gone.

"That was great!"

"Yeah it was."

"Alright, you're paying for the tip, I'll take the bill" Amy states to Blaze

"Amy we can split it again if you want." Blaze says concerned. The meal wasn't too expensive but Blaze still wants to help out and make sure she does equal to what Amy does for her.

"No I'm going to pay, after all I am a rich kid right?" Amy comically jokes and takes some money out of her purse and gives it to the waitress when she gets back. Blaze does the same thing with a twenty dollar bill and a five but places it under a sturdy object so it'll be there for the waitress when she can retrieve it. The two says goodbye to the waitress who waves back and then the two exit the restaurant going back into the cold yet pleasant and even a bit refreshing air. Letting the coke him them. Blaze takes it like a hug, Amy takes it like a punch.

"Nice date" Amy says turning to Blaze and smiling at her date.

"Thank you, I put barley any effort into it." Blaze sarcastically says and giving a sarcastic and overzealous grin with the response.

"Well thank you anyways" Amy kisses Blaze on the cheek. Which causes Blaze to blush a bright red almost instantly. Amy rightly laughs at the display. Blaze covers her face with her scarf. Which makes Amy laugh even more. Even if it still largely a silent chuckle. Blaze looks away to hide her embarrassment. Amy finds it cute and funny so she laughs even more even if nobody else can hear it besides her and Blaze.

The two walk back to Blaze's house. Amy stays for a bit to be with Blaze. Then goes home after a few. Blaze kisses her on the way out and then Amy leaves back to her house, happier than ever. Going home and telling her grandma all about the date. Blaze as soon as she sends Amy out does an excited spin and again like usual won't shut up about Amy which annoys the Cream and Marine. The two make fun of Amy and Blaze but no matter what Blaze won't shut up about her girlfriend to the extreme annoyance of Cream and Marine who would give her a mute button if they could, but they can't.

Amy and Blaze go to bed happy, waiting patiently for each other and their next date or whenever they will see each other again. Whether at school at either of their houses or anywhere else they could see each other. They sleep, dreaming about each other. Waiting for each other in their dreams. Around and around, again and again. Dreaming deep, sleeping deep. For each other and for the fact they have to. If they could they would be together all the time, awake. But this will do for now. Even if they wake up and want to see each other again the next day. They will eventually see each other again even if they have to wait for a bit at least to see each other in person.
