The rain continues to fall over Gotham, its relentless downpour washing the city in a cold, dreary gray. The streets are empty, save for the occasional shadow slipping through the alleys. Jotaro Kujo, undeterred by the weather, moves with purpose, his mind focused on one goal: finding Edward Nygma, better known as The Riddler.

Jotaro had been following a trail of cryptic messages left around the city, each one more maddening than the last. The Riddler was toying with him, leading him on a twisted game of cat and mouse. But Jotaro wasn't one to be easily fooled or led astray. He knew that sooner or later, the Riddler would slip up, and when he did, Jotaro would be there to deliver justice.

Jotaro arrives at the Gotham Public Library, an imposing structure of Gothic architecture. The latest riddle had directed him here, hinting at a hidden clue within its walls. He steps inside, the sound of his boots echoing through the vast, empty hall.

Jotaro: ("This place is a maze. Figures he'd choose somewhere like this. But he won't get away from me.")

As he explores the library, Jotaro's sharp eyes catch a flicker of movement out of the corner of his eye. He turns quickly, only to find an empty aisle of books. Star Platinum materializes briefly, its senses scanning for any sign of danger, but there's nothing. Jotaro frowns, continuing his search.

He reaches the main reading room, where a single green lamp casts an eerie glow over a large oak table. On the table is an envelope with his name scrawled on it in elegant handwriting. Jotaro picks it up, tearing it open to reveal a card with a question mark embossed in gold.

The Riddler (voice over the intercom): "Welcome, Jotaro Kujo. I must say, you've proven to be quite the entertaining challenge. Most people give up after the first few riddles, but not you. Oh no, you're determined. Admirable, but futile."

Jotaro's eyes narrow as he scans the room for any sign of the Riddler.

Jotaro: "Come out and face me, Nygma. I'm not playing your games."

The Riddler's laugh echoes through the room, bouncing off the walls and making it impossible to pinpoint its source.

The Riddler: "But that's the thing, Jotaro—you are playing my game. And you're doing quite well, I must admit. But let's see how you handle this."

Suddenly, the library's lights flicker, and the shelves begin to move, sliding across the floor and forming a labyrinth around Jotaro. The once open space is now a confusing maze of towering bookshelves, each one filled with books that seem to whisper as they pass.

Jotaro stays calm, his mind focused. Star Platinum appears, its presence a comforting force.

Jotaro: "Star Platinum."

With a swift movement, Star Platinum punches through one of the shelves, shattering it into pieces. Books fly everywhere, but Jotaro doesn't flinch. He continues moving forward, breaking through every obstacle in his path.

The Riddler's voice fills the air once again, this time with a hint of frustration.

The Riddler: "Impressive. But brute force won't get you far. Try to keep up, Jotaro. Here's a riddle for you: I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with wind. What am I?"

Jotaro doesn't pause, his voice steady as he responds.

Jotaro: "An echo."

There's a brief silence before the Riddler's voice returns, this time tinged with amusement.

The Riddler: "Correct. But your brain squeezer's far from over. You see, I've designed this place just for you. It's a trap, and you've walked right into it."

Jotaro stops, his eyes scanning the room. He knows the Riddler is trying to psyche him out, but he's not easily rattled.

Jotaro: "You think you can outsmart me? You're wasting your time."

Suddenly, a trapdoor beneath Jotaro's feet opens, and he drops into a lower level of the library. He lands in a dimly lit room filled with monitors, each one displaying different angles of the library above. At the center of the room stands the Riddler, clad in his green suit and bowler hat, a smug smile on his face.

The Riddler: "Congratulations, Jotaro. You've made it to the final stage. But now, you must answer my ultimate riddle if you wish to leave this place alive."

Jotaro steps forward, his gaze locked on the Riddler. Star Platinum hovers behind him, ready to strike.

Jotaro: "No more riddles. This ends now."

The Riddler grins, clearly enjoying the tension.

The Riddler: "Very well. But before you attempt to pummel me into submission, answer this: I'm not alive, but I can grow. I don't have lungs, but I need air. What am I?"

Jotaro doesn't hesitate.

Jotaro: "A fire."

The Riddler's eyes widen in surprise, just as Jotaro takes a step forward.

Jotaro: "And you're about to get burned."

With blinding speed, Star Platinum moves, its fist connecting with the Riddler's chest before he can react. The force of the punch sends the Riddler crashing into the wall, the monitors shattering around him. He slumps to the ground, coughing and gasping for breath.

Jotaro looms over him, his voice low and dangerous.

Jotaro: "End of the line, jackass. Tell me where Batman is, or you won't get a second chance."

The Riddler, now trembling, realizes that he's no match for Jotaro's power. He stammers out a response, his bravado completely gone.

The Riddler: "*coughing* You damn savage! *coughing* H-He's… he's with the Joker! At the old amusement park!"

Jotaro stares at him for a moment before turning away, leaving the Riddler to wallow in his defeat. As he walks out of the room, the lights in the library flicker back on, the labyrinth of shelves returning to their original positions.

Jotaro adjusts his hat, his expression as stoic as ever.

Jotaro: ("The Joker… looks like I'm getting closer. Hang on, Batman. I'm coming.")

With the Riddler defeated and the next clue in hand, Jotaro exits the library, ready to face whatever Gotham throws at him next.
