An old flame re-enters Maverick's life, as well as a few ghosts from his past. How many lives does Maverick have left? This story takes place after the events of Top Gun: Maverick.

Follows the journey of Donovan Grimm, known as Reaper, and Natasha Trace, also known as Phoenix, as they reunite for the first time since the Naval Academy after being recalled at Top Gun for different reasons, navigate the trials and triumphs of life as naval aviators and deal with the difficulty of their unexplored feelings.
