"And so... yeah, that's been my life since then," said Seth, now just having a drink together.
"Wow, look at you two," said Eddie, "Avengers. Nice, not bad."
"Yeah, and well, Venom does have temper tantrums every now and then," said Seth, "Decided to restart your reporter career?"
"Yeah, although, wish there was more than just the occasional territory fight."
'People down here are real shit heads,' said Venom.
"Well, not all of them are like that," said Seth, "Although, I was wondering, is there a chance you know someone that could get me into Heaven?"
Everyone in the bar stopped, and Seth looked around, saying, "TO GET SOME ANSWERS ABOUT EXTERMINATION, NOT TO STAY THERE!"
Everyone then went back to their normal business, and Seth looked back at Eddie.
"Well, just know, it could be hard," he said, "but, I do know these guys who often go to Earth as assassins."
"Really?" asked Seth, "Who are they?"
"They're known as I.M.P.," said Eddie, "Short for Immediate Murder Professionals."
"Hmm," said Seth, "Seems fitting. How do they do that?"
"They have this book called a Grimoire."
"A book of spells?" asked Seth, "Seems fitting. Well, I know how to get home. Just gotta, get some help."
The bartender then placed the tab, and Seth said, "I got this."
He placed a few dollars down, and stood up, saying, "It was good to see you again Eddie."
"You too man," said Eddie, as the two fist bumped.
Venom ran towards the location of I.M.P. and walked inside. He saw the door, and opened up. Inside, he saw a Hellhound. She has a pointed, dog-like muzzle with sharp and pointy teeth, and a dark grey nose. Her eyes have red sclera with white irises, and she wears grey eyeshadow and black winged eyeliner for makeup. She also has a piercing on her right eyebrow with a black hoop for jewelry.
Her fur is white with grey encircling her face, grey patches on her shoulders, and long, voluminous silver hair swept to the side to reveal her dark grey ears - the left of which is pierced with two small, black hoop earrings, while the right is ragged. She has a large, dark grey bushy tail with white on the underside.
Her outfit features a large, spiked black choker around her neck. Her tattered grey, off-the-shoulder crop-top is held up at the neckline by a series of crisscross spaghetti-straps that form an inverted pentagram. She wears black shorts that are tattered at the hems, with a white crescent moon detail on the right side. Loona accessorizes with black fingerless gloves and thigh-high black toeless stockings, with her black claws protruding due to her digitigrade stance.
"This is I.M.P., correct?" asked Venom.
"Yeah," said the Hellhound, "That's what it says on the door."
"We need to speak with your boss," said Venom, "We need a gateway into Heaven for answers."
The Hellhound spat out her beer, and looked at Venom, asking, "ARE YOU NUTS!? THEY'LL KILL YOU ON SIGHT!"
"Not with this look," said Venom, retracting and revealing his host.
"Surprise, not dead," said Seth.
"Uh... huh?"
"Something happened, and don't know what," said Seth, "Just... appeared here going through a portal with Dr. Strange, and there was a light that enveloped us. Don't even know where the hell Strange is."
Just then, a portal opened up, and revealed three imps. One is a red skinned male and white freckles on his cheeks. His white pointy hair leads up to his curvy black and white striped horns.
He also has yellow sclera with black slit pupils. Moxxie has a long red thin tail with a quadrilateral barb at the end, as well as lanky digitigrade legs ending in what appears to be cloven red hooves, reminiscent of artiodactyls.
His outfit consists of a navy-black coat with red buttons and white cuffs, black pants a white shirt that has a black turtleneck, a large red bow-tie, and fingerless gloves.
Another was a short female Imp with a long devilish tail. She has red skin with white markings on her forearms and tail, eyes with yellow scleras and black pupils, darker red eyeshadow, black lipstick on her lips, and long black eyelashes that extend beyond the sides of her hair.
She has two black horns with three thin white stripes and dark gray hair worn in a messy bob style with bangs that cover half of her right horn. She has a beauty mark on her left cheek and a gap between her front teeth. She also has a black tattoo in the shape of a heart on her left shoulder.
Her attire consists of a cold-shoulder black crop top with gold buttons where the straps at the top meet the torso piece, black fingerless gloves, a black choker around her neck, torn black pants, and black toeless footwear that exposes her hoof-like toes.
The final was a rather tall Imp, even for his species of demon, and sports a harlequin-like aesthetic. He has red skin with white burn marks of various sizes that cover parts of his forearms, chest, and his tail, as well as most of the right side of his face. His irises are red and he has a heart-shaped skull symbol on the center of his forehead.
The Imp has fairly broad forearms and hands, and a long narrow head, out of which extends large, curved, black and white striped horns. He has black spines on his head and upper back, as well as on his tail. His tail ends with a triangular point that has a black spot at the tip.
He wears a tattered slate-gray collared coat with red buttons down the breast, black knee-high boots matching the shape of his feet, and elbow-length black fingerless gloves featuring large, rounded yellow decorations on the upper side of them. He also wears a red skull charm around his neck.
"Alright! Another mission successful!" said the tall Imp, "Now, who want to get so fucking high we-"
He stopped, seeing Seth standing in front of the desk.
"ACT PROFESSIONAL!" he yelled, dusting himself off, as the other Imps stood tall.
"Ahem, hello there, welcome to I.M.P. I'm Blitzo, the O is silent."
"Um, what are you talking about? You saying your name is spelled with an O?"
"Yes indeed," said Blitz, "Now, what can we do for you?"
"I need a pathway into Heaven to speak with whoever is in charge," said Seth.
The three Imps were in shock, as Blitzo said, "Um, sorry buddy, but we can't do that. There is no way-"
Venom then slammed a massive bag filled with money right at their feet, and Blitzo said, "-Okay, we'll see what we can do!"
Blitzo then said to the Hellhound, "Loona, hand over the book. We need some help."
"Alright," said Loona.
"So, you go to Earth often?" asked Seth.
"Yep," said Blitzo, "It's our job to help those who have unfinished business up there."
"Weird," said Seth.
"So, who are you?" asked the male imp.
Soon, introductions were made, and Seth got to know Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie, as they soon arrived at a large mansion. There, a figure was standing there, waiting for them. He is an anthropomorphic owl demon. He is tall and slender, with a white, heart-shaped facial disk and small black beak, resembling that of an owl. He has two pairs of almond-shaped red eyes, one set atop the other, with no visible irises or pupils, albeit white highlights do occasionally appear when he is excited.
He has gray-blue feathers, which gradients to dark gray-blue on his head and long, plume-like tail. He has a lighter gray-blue puff of fur on his chest.
His limbs are long, thin, and black, and his feet are tipped with owl claws.
The Demon is often seen wearing a deep red tunic with six linked golden buttons down the breast, and beige breeches. He accessorizes with a feathery tophat that features a regal gold crown encircling it, as well as a long burgundy cape, tattered at the hemline, with a plush ermine-look fur collar, and long black gloves with white feathered trims at the elbows.
"Ah, Blitzy," said the Demon, "How can I help you?"
"Yeah, um, Stolas, this guy is here because he needs you to open a portal to Heaven for him," said Blitzo.
Stolas looked at Seth, who waved, and his eye went wide. He then whispered, "Um, you do know your client is still alive, right?"
"He is?" asked Blitzo.
"Ugh, YES!" said Stolas, "Come on! You've been to Earth countless times, and you don't know what they look like?"
"I'm sorry sir," said Millie, "You know how Blitzo is."
"Well, basically," said Seth, "What happened, is I was just traveling with a sorcerer, and well, something went wrong, and we got separated."
Stolas looked at Seth, before chuckling, "Oh, you humans have managed to dabble in magic? Oh, what can he do, pull a rabbit out of your hat?"
"Actually," said a male voice, "We can do more than illusions."
The group turned around, to see a man with black hair and beard. He was dressed in a sorcerer's outfit, and wore a red cloak that seemed to levitate as he landed. What made them all shocked, was the portal behind them.
"Dr. Strange," said Seth, "What happened?"
"Something within the barriers of the dimensions tried to break through," said Strange, "Don't know what, but it could be lethal to us all."
"Where have you been?" asked Seth.
"Heaven. And I gotta say, I met the first man, Adam, and he is... VERY different from what they say about him."
Strange looked behind Seth, and saw Stolas looking at him, and said, "So, gonna introduce me to your friends?"
"Oh, this is Blitzo, Millie, Moxie, and Stolas," said Seth, "Everyone, this is Dr. Steven Strange, one of many guardians the Earth has."
"You can do... actual magic?" asked Stolas.
"Yes," said Strange, "Anyway, we need to get back to Earth."
"Actually, I need answers, as to what the hell is going on up there," said Seth.
"Why?" asked Strange.
Seth then told him about Lilith, the Exterminations, and Lucifer.
"Sounds, really different from what I expected from the afterlife," said Strange.
"Yeah," said Seth.
"Well, that's reality for ya," said Blitzo, "Actually, do you need bodyguards?"
"No, thank you," said Seth, "We're going for answers, not a fight."
"Well, just know," said Stolas, "Heaven maybe far greater than anything you've ever encountered before. I wish you luck."
"Right," said Seth, "Doctor?"
Steven then spun his right hand in a circle, while holding up his left, and created a portal. The two then stepped through, and it closed as soon as they left.
"Soooooo... anyone care for lunch?" asked Blitzo.
