APPEARANCE

Megumi is a beautiful young woman with soft, smooth porcelain skin that compliments her long mid-back-length straight bubblegum pink hair with a box fringe and seafoam blue eyes. Megumi has two tattoos; one is an Arlong Pirate tattoo on the left side of her stomach to show that she is a member; though she hates the marking on her skin, the pinkette rebels against him with a blue-inked skull sleeve tattoo on the top half of her left arm and one her right thigh Megumi has a shark teeth scars that she received from Arlong after trying to escape him again with Nami.

PERSONALITY

Megumi is a rather cunning person; using her high intelligence that she uses to strategies for treasure hunting and fighting in battles, where her usual childish nature disappears as she grows serious; as the fight grows more intense, she becomes sinister, and this scares her crew mates. Although out of a battle, Megumi is somewhat childish, she is kind-hearted and caring toward her friends and family, who know she can become crazy protective and possessive. She is a stubborn woman, who can come across as somewhat cocky at first glance, but she is boldly honest and sarcastic, which can rub people the wrong way. Still, once they get to know her, they realise she's an energetic, lovable person who will do anything for her friends and family, who she puts above herself.

Megumi is hard to anger, though when she reaches that moment, it's hard to bring her back to her senses as she's too stubborn to listen to others and uses her sneaky and wits to outsmart others that have done her and those critical to her wrong. She's an optimistic person, sometimes to the point, it worries her sisters, though she does it sometimes to tease them without Nami and Nojiko knowing; Megumi's a proud person that can get her a little too much trouble with others, though Megumi is friendly with others, the pinkette can be stubbornly naive with those she shouldn't;t trust, but Megumi can see through them.

RELATIONSHIPS

Belle-mere: Megumi is the only biological daughter of Belle-mere; she left her daughter in the care of the village after giving birth to her after she became a Marine, having met the father during training. Once Belle-mere arrived back in Cocoyashi Village with Nami and Nojiko, Megumi was happy to see the woman she had heard stories about from the villagers and clung to her mother's side as she helped to care for her two new sisters. As she grew up with her sisters and mother, Megumi was in awe of her mother, who she idolised and wished to be like when she grew up, though her mother always told her she'd be happy for her daughters to follow their dreams, no matter what.

Nami: Megumi was happy to have a baby sister; when she first arrived in the village, she vowed to protect her sisters, and Megumi did when she decided to join Arlong's crew in helping to protect her baby sister, as they have both had to share the same terrible treatment from Arlong. Megumi is close to her baby sister than to Nojiko due to their shared pain and harsh treatment over the years, though she still loves her sister, Nojiko.

Nojiko: Megumi loves her little sister, vowing to protect her, and having to grow distant over the years due to sailing all over the seas to find treasures to help set their home free; Nojiko knows she does it to protect their village and admires her older sister for her strength and wishes she was as strong as her but knows that she only has the power because she has something to protect.

Straw Hat Crew: Megumi loves her new crew that she joined along with her sister, and as they continue to sail, they grow closer to each other a down their lives for each other. She loves her new family, her and Usopp love to create new weapons, Zoro and Megumi love to spar and drink together, and she loves Sanji's cooking and helps him in the kitchen. She loves to cause trouble with Luffy and join the crew; she loves doing activities together.

POWERS & ABILITIES

Physical Abilities -

Speed and Agility: Megumi is relatively fast for a human, having to use it to escape from the Marine clutches or collapsing tombs, though she can become out of breath if she has to run a long distance at top speed, and Megumi uses her toned body to increase her agility as she fights opponents, able to twist her body in the air in a split second.

Strength: Megumi is stronger than an average woman of her weight and height, but unfortunately not monster strong; she can lift twice her weight, though if she lifts any extra weight that she can already, it will strain her muscles. Megumi uses her increased strength for short-range attacks if she can't use her guns, as she learned from past fights to become stronger and use her close combat techniques to advance her strength.

Accuracy: Megumi is scarily accurate with her attacks, be it her guns or her fists and feet; she knows where to strike to wither intimidate or knock out her opponent; she uses her keen eye-sight to help her from far away as she specialises in long-range attacks, though she is just as good short-range.

Finder Power -

Like most of the Straw Hat crew, Megumi doesn't have a Devil Fruit. However, she isn't normal as she has a unique ability that her sisters call Finder Power, which gives her the ability to find anything in the world with only a full name or detailed description of the item or person. However, Megumi may not be able to sense it if it's a certain distance away or she is not inclined to find the item or person. She may not be able to find the object or person if it's a certain distance away because of the long reach. It almost seems stretched, and it can become easier to sense their location the closer she gets, though she may not bother to find it afterwards. If Megumi doesn't wish to find the item or person, she won't be able to locate what she's looking for; Megumi's never been able to find the One Piece as Megumi doesn't want to discover it, especially when she was an apart of Arlong's crew.

Haki -

Observational Haki: which grants users a sixth sense of the world around them and limited precognitive abilities. Users of this Haki can sense people's presence, strength, emotions, and intentions. Megumi, unfortunately, only knows the basics of Observational Hak that she learned over her time in the Grand Lin; she's able to see a faint outline of people's presence around her but still struggles within a specific range and can sometimes able to sense their strength and emotions.

Armament Haki: which allows the user to use their own spiritual energy as armour to defend against attacks, as well as make their own attacks more potent. A person can apply the armament to a section of their body, over their entire body, and even apply it to their weapons. Megumi struggles with Armament Haki, only able to use it for a few minutes and must choose her moment carefully if she wishes to use it to coat her hands which is the only part she can fully cover.

Conquering Haki: which grants the user the ability to overpower the will of others. This results in victims being mentally overwhelmed by the user, with particularly weak-willed foes instantly losing consciousness. Haoshoku is a rare form of Haki that only one in several million people are born with the ability to use. Megumi, unfortunately, is unable to use this Haki, though she doesn't seem aware of it either.

Weapons -

Megumi specialises in guns, prefers pistols, and makes her special gun powder, which she uses in her firearms and bombs by hand. She uses rifles for her long-range attacks, using them for sneak attacks from a far distance with her keen eye-sight, though in her short-range attack,s she uses pistols and handguns in her fighting,g which she combines with her hand-to-hand combat. Megumi only uses her mother's shotgun that she rebuilt and repaired after Arlong destroyed it; she makes her bullets and bombs with different properties.

Flash Grenades: This grenade is black; when pulling the pin, you have a 30-second timer before it explodes, creating an immense burst of light that stuns people and can even blind them for a few minutes.

Laughing Gas Grenade: This grenade is lemon yellow; when you pull the pin, a pink cloud of gas makes whoever inhales the gas, making them laugh uncontrollably; this can last from 1 to 10 minutes, depending on how much they inhaled.

TNT: This bomb comes in two different components with a switch and the bomb, which are black and red; she can place the bombs anywhere she wishes and must be within 2 miles, or the controls won't work.

Smoke Bombs: This bomb is dark green, with the pin pulled a dark cloud of smoke that is too thick for anyone to navigate through and is good to use when trying to escape.

Dummy Grenades: This grenade is red, and when the pin is pulled, it sparks intimidating as it clicks as if counting down before exploding, but it does nothing.

Joke Bombs: This bomb is gold; when pulling the pin, there is a 30-second delay before it will either explode into confetti, spray water or coat the area with pink dust; mainly used as a distraction.

Knock-out Gas Grenade: This grenade is pink; after pulling the pin, a purple cloud of gas spreads within a few meters radius that can knock anyone who inhales the gas; the effects can last up to 30 minutes.

Poison Gas Bomb: This bomb is black with a golden crown engraved on the side; once the pin is pulled, a thick green gas spreads around within a few feet and once inhaled the poison, the only antidote is inside Megumi's head; it slowly works through the nervous system, making them suffer before they lose consciousness.

Tranquilliser Bullets: These bullets have a strong tranquilliser encased within the metal that bursts once it pierces the skin, releasing the tonic into the bloodstream.

Rubber Bullets: These bullets are made of rubber, so they will only do minimal damage, but it helps Megumi to hit vital pressure points when in close combat.

Lead Bullers: These bullets are made of lead like other bullets; she uses these for critical damage though she doesn't use these to kill, only to harm in certain areas.

Exploding Bullets: These bullets have tiny amounts of gun powder inside that, once making contact with something hard, will explode on impact; these explode with half the force of one of Megumi's bombs.

Salt Bullets: These bombs are made of salt condensed down in shell casings that can only be fired from her mother's shotgun and will only wind someone.

Poison Bullets: These bullets have a small amount of poison inside that, once breaks the skin, runs through the victim's bloodstream, messes with the nervous system, causes them to lose all feeling in their bodies, and the only antidote is inside Megumi's head.

SKILLS

Expert hand-to-hand combatant: Megumi learns from people she has encountered while travelling who was willing to teach her how to fight and some moves she learned from instinct and watching from afar. She's able to use blind-sighted attacks with her guns by hearing her surroundings and using the minimal Observational Haki she possesses. Shed even uses it to fight aerial attacks with long-range raids in the air. In addition, Megumi causes non-lethal methods to fight, using self-defence to disarm her opponents and using pressure points with her guns from afar to aid her crewmates.

Navigation: Megumi only mildly knows how to navigate on the seas as she relies on her Finder Power to help aid herself in the direction she wishes to sail as. Megumi uses her knowledge of sailing on the little boat that she learned to sail on with the help of her sister, Nami, as she tries to not rely on her Finder Power.

Master Marksman: Megumi loves her guns to the point she collects them, having over a dozen different guns and rifles to help her in a fight that she combines with her hand-to-hand combat. She uses her keen eye-sight to her advantage for long-range assaults with her rifles, and in short-range attacks, she integrates with her hand-to-hand combat skills using her pistols and hand-guns that have special bullets that she made herself.

Explosive Expert: Megumi loves to create bombs, using her special gun powder; she assembles her bombs to have different properties from exploding to laughing gas; she uses her bombs to help clear away for her in tombs and knows how to create the perfect distractions or clear a path, she knows how to do it.

Survival tactics: Megumi has to learn on the spot to survive, especially after losing her mother and having to live with Arlong and his crew, she uses survival tactics to keep on living, and when out on the seas, she has to be careful as she travels alone, she still uses these tactics to help her crew mates as they travel as they come in handy.

Swimming: Megumi is an excellent swimmer, able to hold her breath for four minutes underwater, and can swim a few miles without losing her stamina, she learned to swim after her time with the Arlong Pirate,s and she continues to improve as she grows stronger.

Reading Ancient Texts and Code Deciphering: Megumi having picked up a trick or two as she travels on the sea, can read ancient texts; though unable to understand Poneglyphs though she can read other texts, she realises the danger of learning the secrets they hide. She can easily decipher codes as she uses her high intellect to solve them, as Megumi understands as if they move to fit into place, though Megumi can take the time she may not have to understand the code.

Speed Reader and Writing Codes: Megumi uses her keen eyesight to read over 20,000 words per minute to store information that aids her as she creates codes, which helps her to communicate with her sisters under the nose of Arlong.

First-aid: Megumi, having to patch herself and her sisters up on many occasions, takes lessons from Doctor Nao in Cocoyashi Village and is quite adaptable at healing, though she doesn't know everything, just enough to help heal minor wounds and uses some of her knowledge of the human body to fight.

Cooking: Megumi loves to cook; she occasionally helps Sanji in the kitchen, especially when she makes her mother's famous tangerine sauce that only Megumi can make, not sharing the secret with even her sisters as she pushes to help sell for Nojiko in the village.
