Introduction

"BE-COOL" is a newly formed amateur vigilante team with little experience to their name. In contrast, "Nexus," led by Roy, is a seasoned group with a solid reputation in the underworld.

By coincidence, both teams end up targeting the same criminal organization's deal. In Chapter 2, the story shifts its focus to the members of "Nexus."

1.Mission Begins

That evening, the members of Team BE-COOL gathered in the VIP room at Velforia. Quincy grinned, holding a cocktail glass.

"Alright, listen up, you two. I've got a huge scoop for us tonight!"

Harold folded his arms, eyeing Quincy cautiously. "This better not be some shady lead again. Last time was a disaster."

Quincy tipped his glass with a mischievous look. "Trust me, this one's solid. There's a big illegal deal going down at the warehouse district by the port."

Sitting on the edge of the sofa, Tria looked worried and whispered, "But we're just amateurs… Are we really ready for this?"

Meanwhile, over at Team Nexus's base, the members were in the middle of a meeting, their expressions focused and intense.

Roy leaned against the counter, staring into his whiskey glass. "Eugene, are we sure about this intel?"

Eugene, elegantly tapping on his tablet, replied, "Absolutely. It's confirmed from our underground network sources."

By the window, Nicholas looked out at the nightscape, his tone calm. "What's their strength?"

Eugene scrolled through his screen, "About 20 men, mostly low-level grunts. But there will be 2-3 higher-ups among them."

Roy's eyes sharpened as he downed his drink, determination etched into his face.

"Let's move. Team Nexus, mobilize."

Each team member silently nodded, checking their gear as a tense atmosphere filled the room.

"Stay sharp. We're up against a criminal organization—don't let your guard down," Roy reminded his team one last time.

2.Ambush and Encounter

In a shadowed corner of the warehouse district, cloaked in night, Team BE-COOL had arrived, hiding near an old warehouse.

"This is the deal location?" Harold whispered, eyeing the area cautiously. Tria, looking tense, glanced around and whispered, "It seems empty…" Quincy, wearing a confident smile, assured them, "Don't worry, we're probably the first to get here."

Meanwhile, Team Nexus was hidden nearby, ready for action. Roy's car, the "STORMBRINGER," was prepped for a quick escape if needed. Roy gave quiet orders to his team. "Nicholas, check the north side. Eugene, is the comms system set?"

Nicholas nodded and moved out silently, while Eugene, adjusting his receiver, replied, "No issues."

Suddenly, Roy motioned for silence. Team BE-COOL had just come into view.

"Well, well, looks like we have unexpected guests," Eugene muttered sarcastically.

Roy frowned, casting a cold glance. "Amateurs… what are they doing here?" Tension surged as both teams spotted each other.

Realizing they'd been pre-empted, Harold muttered, "Damn, they got here first!" Tria clung to his sleeve nervously, "What should we do?"

Quincy, trying to keep up his confidence, declared, "Pro or not, we're not backing down!" Yet, inwardly, he felt uneasy. Who are these guys? Have we stumbled into something dangerous?

Just then, the quiet was broken by the sound of an engine starting. Roy's eyes sharpened. "They're here!"

A sleek black car pulled up and stopped in front of the warehouse. Several men exited, glancing around warily. Wasting no time, Roy gave instructions, "Nicholas, get ready." Nicholas nodded, poised to act.

However, the men seemed to sense they were being watched. They jumped back into the car, speeding off before anyone could react.

"Tch, they spotted us," Roy muttered, immediately springing into action. "Let's go, Nicholas!" He and Nicholas quickly climbed into STORMBRINGER, launching into pursuit.

"They're getting away!" Harold shouted. "We have to follow them!" Tria added urgently. Quincy pointed to a nearby hidden vehicle and yelled, "Over here! Get in!"

Team BE-COOL scrambled to keep up, but Nexus's STORMBRINGER was already speeding after the target. Quincy jumped into the driver's seat as Harold clenched his teeth in frustration. "Damn, they're too fast!"

3.City Car Chase

In the dead of night, three cars sped through the city streets: a black luxury car in the lead, STORMBRINGER close behind, and BE-COOL's car trailing far in the distance.

Roy's expression was intense as he gripped the wheel of STORMBRINGER. "Nicholas, are you ready?" he asked in a low voice.

"Anytime," Nicholas replied, raising his shotgun from the passenger seat.

The black car took a sharp turn, swerving around a corner. Roy reacted instantly, smoothly guiding STORMBRINGER into the turn.

"Damn, they're good," Roy muttered, watching the city lights blur by in streaks of blue as the speedometer needle shot up.

Suddenly, gunfire erupted from the car ahead. "Roy, watch out!" Nicholas shouted. Roy kept his cool, deftly swerving to avoid the bullets as they whizzed past STORMBRINGER.

"Now, Nicholas!" Without hesitation, Nicholas pulled the trigger, his shotgun blast hitting one of the black car's tires. "Nice shot," Roy said with a small grin.

The car wobbled as its tire blew out, but it quickly regained balance, continuing the chase. "Impressive," Roy murmured.

Far behind, Team BE-COOL struggled to keep up. "Quincy, faster!" Harold yelled.

"Give me a break! This is as fast as it goes!" Quincy replied, sweating as he floored the accelerator.

In the back seat, Tria watched the distant cars nervously. "Those guys… they're real pros, aren't they?"

Leaving the city, the chase moved onto the highway, speeds increasing as the landscape blurred around them. Roy expertly maneuvered STORMBRINGER through the lanes, with Nicholas's precise shooting pushing the black car to its limits. "You're not getting away," Roy said calmly.

But the black car made a final desperate move. Slamming on the brakes, it suddenly closed the distance between them. "Roy!" Nicholas warned. Roy reacted instantly, swerving to avoid a collision, just as the black car darted down an off-ramp.

"Damn it," Roy cursed, gritting his teeth but maintaining focus as he continued the pursuit.

Far behind, BE-COOL's car finally reached the highway. "They're gone… we can't see them anymore," Tria said despairingly.

"Damn it!" Quincy pounded the steering wheel, and Team BE-COOL felt the bitter sting of their own limitations.

4.Mission Success for Team Nexus

Meanwhile, STORMBRINGER continued its pursuit. Roy and Nicholas's flawless teamwork brought them closer to their target, their movements through the night streets exuding professionalism. The two cars raced at breakneck speed, weaving through the city, with STORMBRINGER just a few meters behind the black luxury car. Roy's brow was dotted with sweat, his gaze locked intensely on the road ahead.

"Nicholas, this is it," Roy said in a low voice. Nicholas nodded, silently readying his shotgun and taking aim.

The black car swerved sharply, darting into a narrow alley. Roy quickly braked and slid STORMBRINGER around the corner, the walls of the alley barely missing the car's sides as they sped through. Cold sweat beaded on Roy's forehead.

"We've got them cornered!" Roy's eyes flashed. "Now, Nicholas!"

Without hesitation, Nicholas pulled the trigger. The shotgun blast hit the engine compartment of the black car, sending up a plume of smoke as the hood erupted in sparks and steam. "Nice work," Roy muttered.

The two jumped out of STORMBRINGER, guns drawn, approaching the smoking car. "Get out!" Roy commanded harshly. Slowly, the doors opened, and the men inside exited with their hands raised.

Nicholas quickly restrained them while Roy searched the vehicle, retrieving a briefcase. "This must be the goods they were trading."

Just then, Team BE-COOL arrived on the scene. Quincy parked, and the trio scrambled out, only to stand in stunned silence as they took in the aftermath.

In the distance, sirens began to wail, growing closer. "The police," Roy noted calmly. "Right on time."

Within minutes, patrol cars pulled up, and officers rushed out, shouting, "Don't move!"

Roy raised his hands calmly. "Relax, officers. The culprits are right here." Nicholas lowered his weapon and gestured to the restrained men, allowing the officers to confirm the situation.

"That's… professional work," Harold muttered, awestruck. Tria stared, wide-eyed, and whispered, "We… couldn't do anything."

Quincy remained silent, observing carefully while deep in thought. These guys are trouble. If they interfere with our plans, we'll need to reconsider.

The police took custody of the suspects and listened to Roy's account of the situation. Roy handed over the briefcase. "Here's the evidence."

As things settled, an officer approached Roy. "Thank you for your cooperation. We'll need you to come in for questioning later." Roy nodded silently, then returned to STORMBRINGER with Nicholas. Just before starting the engine, he glanced at Team BE-COOL and coldly remarked, "The underworld isn't for amateurs. Stay out of it."

STORMBRINGER's engine roared, and with a flash of blue light, it vanished into the night. Left behind, the members of Team BE-COOL could only stand there, stunned.

"Let's go home," Harold said quietly. "There was nothing we could do tonight." With heavy steps, the three returned to their car.

5.Eugene's Insight

Late at night, the three members of Team Nexus gathered in their operations room. Roy stood by the window, glass in hand, gazing out at the city lights. Nicholas sat on the sofa, focused on cleaning his weapons. Meanwhile, Eugene was reflecting on the night's events.

"Another successful mission," Eugene began, breaking the silence. Roy replied without turning around, "Yes, just as planned." Nicholas nodded briefly, continuing his work.

With a slight smile, Eugene asked, "By the way… what do you make of those peculiar guests tonight?"

Roy frowned. "Amateurs. Just a nuisance. People like that shouldn't be showing up for fun at scenes like these." Nicholas stopped his work momentarily. "They're a danger to themselves. They can't even protect themselves."

Eugene observed their reactions, his smile widening slightly. "True. Although, I got a somewhat different impression."

Roy turned to face him. "What do you mean?"

Eugene set his glass down slowly. "I saw potential in them—a certain reckless courage that comes with youth. That young leader, in particular… I'd say he's had a bit of experience with danger."

Roy dismissed the thought. "An amateur is still an amateur. They should stay somewhere safe."

Eugene nodded, continuing, "True enough. But with the right guidance, they could grow into something more." Nicholas gave Eugene a cautionary look, but Eugene rose gracefully.

"I think I might reach out to them. What do you think?"

Roy looked momentarily surprised but quickly regained his composure. "Do as you like. Just make sure they don't interfere with us."

"Of course. I wouldn't dream of disrupting our work," Eugene replied, bowing with a touch of elegance.
