Last Quincy: Bambietta & Uryu relationship looks like Azula & Zuko lol I Hope we see more of them. The others Sternritters are gonna appears earlier or only in TYBW Arc? Yhwach cameo MAYBE hahaha. Good chapter!

I've never actually watched avatar before, but I've only heard good things about it. Zuko especially so I take it that my work getting compared to that would be a good thing. There will possibly be a few Sternritter cameos throughout the story excluding flashbacks (I only have 1 concretely planned out as of now), but the Sternritters will become a focal point during TYBWand they'll recieve much more focus there than they did in the main series.

Antex-The Legendary Zoroark: Excellent work! Enjoyed this. I also have to say I really don't like Ryuken. What a deadbeat dad…

Thanks for the support. Even tho Ryuken isn't the best dad to say the least considering everything that he's been thorough I pity him more than anything. Also for the recent chapters I did some light research into Ryukens character, and discovered thay the implied reason (or in other words, my favorite interpretation) on why he's so negligent towards Uryu is that he wants Uryu to have the freedom that he himself didn't have when he was tied to his Quincy obligations which makes him seem a lot more reasonable in hindsight. This is what I'm somewhat running with in this story.

GoGo44: Isn't it unknown how old all the Sternritters are due to the fact that they stop aging while within the Shadow Dimension? Like there were Sternritters thousands of years old but looked like they were 20 at best.

Yeah we don't actually know the exact ages of any of the Sternritter, we just have vague information on them that hint at their age. For example As Nodt was recruited from a modern hospital by Yhwach which means that he's from the human world and thus fairly young when he was recruited (but iirc i retconed this in this story). Other examples are Liltotto being unfamilar with the Auswahlen and getting called a new recruit by Robert in the manga which also makes her and likely the pther Bambies as well as being from the modern era.

Antex-The Legendary Zoroark (again): Fascinating explanations and mechanics! I gotta say that even though most of it may be guesswork, it's still quite the conclusion to draw to and that makes it all the more interesting and informative. Good work! Loving how this is going. I also am eager to see what will happen between Bambietta, Ichigo, and Uryū, along with how each of their perspectives will affect the other, and that includes the possibility of romance too. It's also interesting to see you've yet to decide the pairing yet, but it is still exciting in a way, as you'll be able to build up the relations and make it all work out in the end somehow.

I'm a bit of a stickler for extensive exposition and explanations, so I aimed to answer and provide more context to theQuincy abilities than canon did. I presume that this review was made while reading an earlier chapter but since then I've decided what the main ship will be. It might seem really obvious (because it is) but both Uryu and Ichigo will be main characters in this alongside Bambietta. Although Uryus character divergence is much earlier than Ichigos would be since Bambiettas prescence is mich more intertwined with Uryu than Ichigo, but Ichigo will eventually undergo massive changes due to Bambiettas prescence as well and along with that so will the plot of the series.

MachaTea: When will Ichigo use Quincy powers? Shouldn't he be more Quincy-aligned due to Ossan? I mean, Ossan did say that he didn't want Ichigo to become a Shinigami, which is why Ossan suppressed Ichigo's Zanpakutou in Manga chapter 540. So, surely, Ossan must have sensed Bambietta and used this opportunity to turn Ichigo into a Quincy. Besides, Ichigo is still a child, and he hasn't yet faced battles that make Ossan's heart waver.

When Ichigo unlocked his Soul Reaperhollow, Quincy or Fullbringpowers he had a specific catalyst or event whichallowed him to awaken his power. For his Shinigami and hollow powers it was Rukia giving him her power. For the Quincy powers it was Quilges Jail and for Fullbring it was extensive Fullbring training which let him master that. Ichigo hasn't undergone anything like this yet, thereforehe still hasn't unlocked any of his powers.

missmartian369: Uryu and Bambietta training together was nice. I love their banter with each other and you can tell that even though he just met her, Uryu is very much attached to Bambietta. I wonder if she feels the same or will start to? The much anticipated meeting of Ryuken and Bambietta has happened. And…they do not like each other lol. To be fair, I don't think Ryuken really likes anyone lol. It seems that Bambi cut him deep by asking him if he really knows what's best for his son? I wonder how their relationship will evolve as time goes on? And I wonder if Bambi will eventually learn and understand why Ryuken is the way that he is? Bambietta and Souken meet again and Bambi still hasn't forgiven him for his interrogation of her lol. I feel like Bambi went so she herself can hear what Souke would have to say to Uryu's questions because there's still so much she herself doesn't know yet. And poor Uryu suffered information overload this chapter. Very good chapter and I await to see how you rap this introduction arc up. Can't wait for Chad and Orihime to be brought in the mix. And since we are getting close to the main story, I wonder how Bambi's interactions with Rukia will go? She and Renji are a part of the main group and Bambi has her own feelings regarding Soul Reapers. I wonder if she'll become friends with them like Uryu has? And I wonder if she'll end up going to the Soul Society with Team Karakura to save Rukia? That would be so cool!

Pretty big spoilers for this chapter so you should read this after the chapter if you don't do that already. Uryu and Bambiettas banter has been pretty entertaining to write during unserious moments which there'll be a massive surplus of soon so that would have been something to lookward had the events of this chapter not happened. And Ryuken. My goodness Ryuken has been a struggle to write and unlike Soken I can't just write him out the story (he actually becomes a much more important part of this story than the canon one if anything), but I do think I have a general grasp of his character so it isn't all bad. Also an insane prediction on Bambietta finding out about Ryukens past since that's exactly what happens this chapter. But I made that happen offscreen. Should I have toned down how many major things happened offscreen in this chapter? I think it establishes that those events happened well enough without writing an intermediary chapter between this chapter and the previous one (Uryus had the spotlight for long enough), but I do think some parts needed more build up before just getting stated to have occurred offscreen. Especially Bambietta finding out about Ryukens childhood through Soken.About last chapter tho. I myself know why Bambietta went to see Soken (or maybe I don't) but I chose to leave that in specific entirely up to interpretation. And I have a few thinfs in store for this stories version of the Agent of the Shinigami arc. Also thanks for your continuous support and these detailed reviews btw. They're always fun to read.

kuroshiragami0: Excited for chapter 9 good job on the explanation of quincies.

Aye thanks. The Quincy lore expands more and more each chapter.

c8 anoyak111: Why have ichigo in the tag? It feels like he doesn't have a role in this other than obligation he's the og main character. The summary feels misleading. I thought this was about all three not just uryu and bambi. Sorry if I sound impatient.

Simply put itIchigo wasn't plot relevant yet, and Ichigo meeting Bambietta wouldn't cause a ripple as big as Bambietta meeting Uryu due to Soken and Ryukens involvement with Uryu. I would have to go through those changes caused by Bambiettas and Uryu's involvement with one another before moving further on with Ichigos part of the story, but this chapter is the finale to this Ishida based introduction arc and next chapter will shift gears to focus on Ichigo while I build up to the start of the main series. I mentioned this in the Authors Noteof the previous chapter as well, but I don't blame you didn't read it because it was ridiculously long for an authors note.

Nali fan 0978: Sorry if i did sound impatient lot of stories i read don't update also good chapter. This may sound like a weird question but do tou play bleach brave soul?

Nah, it's all good. I know how disappointing it is for stories that I read to just stay incomplete which is why I'll try to keep up a somewhat consistent upload schedule. Before last chapter though I was pumping out chapters practicallytwice a weak and I've slowed down since then due to other hobbies and responsibilities. A new chapter shouldn't take any longer than 3 weeks at the very most and if I do plan on disappearing for longer than a month then I'd announce in an authors note before then. Also I just downloaded Brave Soulsfor the first time about two weeks ago once I learned that Zombietta was coming to the game. It may or may not be one of the reasons why updates slowed down. I've been spending all my sprit orbs on the TYBW summons to try to pull more Zombiettas to level up my special move, but I've only gotten two so far.

An arrow whizzed past a target by centimeters followed by a distant scoff of annoyance from so far in the distance that it was practically inaudible.

"What's the matter, Uryu? It was a great shot."

"How was that a great shot? I missed." Uryu replied to his grandfather in disappointment while he dissipated his Heilig Bogen.

"Such a small target from such a long distance. Even experienced Quincies would struggle to land that shot so don't let that dissuade you."

Uryu sighed before sitting down on a nearby log, and he started aimlessly carving something on the dirt with his stick. Soken quickly noticed that Uryu's mind was elsewhere. Soken always tried to help Uryu come to terms with what he learned however he could, but Uryu always ended up questioning everything regardless. This time Soken felt that it'd be best if he didn't bring up all those overwhelming revelations to him again, so he instead focused on the other issue at hand.

"You're expecting too much from yourself. You've already progressed to a level that can rival fully matured Quincies. If you set such a high standard for yourself then you're bound to eventually encounter roadblocks like this. It's inevitable that the greater your goal is then the greater your struggle to achieve it will be, so there's no reason to be disappointed by your difficulties." Soken explained before sitting down beside Uryu on the log.

There's no fault in missing such a difficult shot unless you yourself make it one."

Uryu looked up from what he was scratching onto the floor before tossing the stick out of view.

"The distance between me and the target was the same as the initial distance between myself and the first hollow I tried to kill on my own. And the size of the target was the same as that hollows mask, but I still missed even though the target was stationary. Despite how much I've trained, if I were to fight that hollow again I still wouldn't be able to beat it."

"That must have been an abnormally powerful hollow then. Hollows like that are extremely rare these days."

"Yet Bambietta still effortlessly killed it with just two arrows. Besides, what if another hollow like that one shows up? I still wouldn't be able to do anything about it whatsoever. How can I call myself a Quincy if I can't even protect myself from the hollows let alone other people?"

"Well, Bambietta's capabilities are nothing short of prodigious. Being unable to do what she can is no reason to be ashamed."

"But Bambietta herself thinks that I have more potential than she does." Countered Uryu which made Soken's eyes slightly widen, but Uryu didn't notice that gesture.

"And that's no excuse for me to stay that weak regardless. I can't rely on Bambietta forever." Declared Uryu calmly as he stood up and started to stretch.

"I guess I'll just have to train harder until I break through this barrier, right master?" Uryu asked with a lively smile on his face, which Soken was glad to see. He used to smile like that all the time before his mother died, but his smile passed alongside his mother. It only began to come back once Bambietta came into his life. For that reason Soken will always be grateful to Bambietta despite all the disagreements and issues they've had with one another.

"Don't push yourself too far. I can tell that your arms are getting sore, and your reishi manipulation is faltering from all those arrows you've been shooting the past few hours." Soken replied in a similar tone that Uryu used which indicated to Uryu that he shouldn't take his words too seriously.

"If I can form and fire arrows then I can practice." Replied Uryu nonchalantly while he stretched his shoulders to alleviate its sore stiffness before forming a Heilig Bogen.

"You're starting to sound like Bambietta." Soken joked while he continued sewing like he did when Uryu was practicing prior.

"Wait, really?" Questioned Uryu while he fired a bunch of arrows at varying targets.

"You haven't noticed it yourself?"

"Umm, not really." Uryu curiously replied before he continued analyzing his targets. "I don't know how you've been putting up with us both if I really am starting to take after her. One Bambietta is more than enough as is."

"I wouldn't have chosen to mentor kids in the Quincy arts if I didn't have the patience for it. Typically most Quincies only get an apprenticeship right before they reach teenhood."

"I guess I lucked out then."

"I'm the lucky one in this instance. I couldn't have asked for a better apprentice than you, Uryu." Soken said proudly. Uryu smiled at this even though Soken couldn't see it because Uryu was still facing the opposite direction.

"What about Bambietta though?" Uryu casually questioned without warning. Soken considered a proper response before answering his question.

"Her previous mentor has instilled her with values that sharply clash with mine, and given the rough start we've had… Getting through to her has been a struggle to say the least. That's not an inherent issue itself, but I don't want her values to rub off on you too much."

"Hmm? Why not?" Asked Uryu even though Soken and Uryu had discussed the matter of Bambiettas various conflicting beliefs a few times before.

"Do you remember what I told you right after we met Bambietta? The same day I showed you the Ginto and Seele Schneiders." Soken asked in a serious tone while he put his sewing materials aside. Uryu turned to face him directly since he recognized that he was about to say something important due to his tone of voice before nodding at his grandfather.

"I don't want you to walk down the same path of mistakes that the Quincies of the past followed. It's the path that Bambietta herself walks. She isn't at fault for this. She herself was guided along that vengeful path by someone or something else. But that path of continuous path of vengeance has no end; Just more unending hatred between us all. Nothing good for anybody comes from walking through that path which is why I've been trying so hard to ensure that you don't walk down it."

Uryu stared at his grandfather eye to eye as he took in this information. He's been exposed to both the 'flawed' path that Bambiettas follows along with the supposedly 'correct' path that his grandfather tried to instill in him, so he had the open mind to compare and contrast both of those paths before he chose which one he'd walk along. He understood and sympathized with the reasoning behind both views, and he recognized the faults with both of them, so he's been unable to choose which path he'd rather follow if he had to. He wouldn't let either his grandfather or Bambietta know that, but nonetheless he'd still be willing to question or challenge their stances for further insight on them. He had previously considered his grandfather's beliefs infallible, but after everything he learned about the Quincies and the insight he gained from Bambietta he couldn't be sure anymore.

"Is it possible to reach the end of your path though?" Uryu questioned.

Soken stared at Uryu while he considered a response.

"With enough effort and collaboration then it is."

"Then how come the Soul Reapers didn't protect us despite our efforts two hundred years ago. Weren't they the ones who didn't hold up the deal?"

"That's what I meant by collaboration. It wouldn't be possible for use to mend our wounds between each other unless both Quincies and Soul Reapers formed this view. I'll be sure to do my part, and I have faith that they'll do theirs."

Bambietta herself heavily criticized him for this reason. Why would the Soul Reapers agree with Soken? He's already been trying to ally with the Soul Reapers for as long as Uryu could remember to no avail. His grandfather had proposed a solution which helped both Quincies and Soul Reapers yet he was turned down. Faith alone won't make the Soul Reapers miraculously come to terms with the Quincies just how Uryu's faith in his mother didn't miraculously stop her rapidly deteriorating health from getting worse.

"Why would they do that?" Asked Uryu sternly and Soken just looked down in response since he couldn't answer his question. Uryu despite his immature age was still able to easily realize the main flaw in what his grandfather preached, but he didn't see the point in pressing his grandfather about it further.

"They already have before... " Soken said sincerely while visibly becoming absorbed in his thoughts briefly before quickly regaining his focus and continuing. "I managed to recently convince the Soul Reapers to agree to cooperate with the remaining Quincies under the basis that the Quincies will protect the living from the hollows without killing them until the Soul Reapers arrive thus maintaining the balance of souls." Soken finished in a monotonic voice.

Uryu questioned the legitimacy of this deal. It more so just seemed like an attempt to get his grandfather to shut up to him. They were the same group who massacred the Quincies after breaking their end of a deal after all. However Uryu could tell through Sokens' expression that there was something else which he wasn't telling Uryu. He caught onto the way his grandfather's tone and face shifted once he began talking about his recent pact with the Soul Reapers. He could tell that his grandfather was telling the truth when he said that Quincies and Soul Reapers allied before although he knew he wasn't referring to his pact. Uryu was curious but he didn't feel the need to question it.

Whatever happened was reason enough for Soken to maintain his faith in the Soul Reapers, so it was a good enough reason for Uryu to stay open to his view as well.

Uryu continued practicing various Quincy techniques despite his immense soreness. He tried circulating reishi throughout his veins, and he managed to keep blut vene active for a few seconds before he lost control of his power and his blut dissipated.

Blut was still a struggle for him to use no matter how much Bambietta simplified and demonstrated the technique for him. It felt unnatural. He spent his entire life gathering reishi around him to construct objects but to use blut he had to circulate his reishi internally rather than externally.

Bambietta compared the technique to the circulatory system. She said to envision his soul as his heart and in order to use blut he had to use the inner power within his soul itself to pump his reiatsu and gathered reishi throughout the vessels of his body thus activating blut. Uryu understood this conceptually but actually applying that knowledge in practice was something completely different, and Bambietta despite her mastery over blut was hardly able to help him apply that knowledge in any meaningful way no matter how hard she tried, so he's been figuring the technique out himself.

"When did you learn that technique?" Soken asked suddenly which ruined Uryus already faltering concentration.

"Bambietta taught me it." Answered Uryu mellowly before quickly activating blut for a brief moment. Just long enough for Soken to see his veins glow blue before Uryu lost control which forcibly deactivated the blut.

"Blut is a technique that's supposed to take a Quincy years to learn in the living world." Soken said in genuine surprise while also leaving out the key detail that this only applies to Gemischt Quincies like Uryu.

"Is it really? I guess Bambietta wasn't bluffing out my potential then." Uryu responded while looking down at his wrist. He tried to activate blut vene again but to no avail which caused him to audibly sigh.

"Blut, as you can see, is an extremely difficult skill to pick up on, but you've managed to learn the fundamentals of it in under a few months."

Uryu averted his eyes from the veins on his wrist before responding.

"Do you know how to use blut? Maybe you can teach me it too." Uryu paused to cautiously glance in both directions before continuing. "Bambietta's kinda bad at explaining things to me." Finished Uryu quietly even though Bambietta wasn't even here.

Bad talking Bambietta in any way is hazardous enough as is, but he'd learned firsthand that getting caught criticizing her behind her back was exponentially worse. Not just because it made her angrier (albeit that was a major reason too). Rather it was because Uryu can tell that it hurt her on a much deeper and personal level than just saying the same thing to her face. Uryu had gotten used to handling her fury and working around it, but that was something else entirely that he didn't know how to handle. Uryu believed that he understood why she took much more offense to criticism behind her back than directly to her face, so Uryus has been refraining from doing it again even if it's something minor such as this instance.

Soken slightly chuckled when he heard this.

"Well if she managed to teach you how to use it at all then she must be exceptionally good at teaching you. Especially considering her inexperience and young age. But yes I do know how to use blut. It's not nearly as effective as it was when I was younger, but I'm still entirely capable of teaching you everything you need to know about it."

Uryu smiled in anticipation upon hearing this, but Soken continued speaking before he could say anything.

"Don't get too excited. You still have to study ransotengai first." Soken finished.

Uryus excitement immediately turned into disappointment which was made abundantly clear to Soken by the exaggerated groan that Uryu let out. Soken felt that Uryu was starting to pick up on Bambiettas sassiness and impudence, but he didn't point that out to Uryu.

Uryu thought that blut was a much more valuable and versatile skill than ransotengai, so he didn't really see why his grandfather was prioritizing that technique over blut.

"Oh, by the way. Do you know when Bambietta's gonna get here?" Uryu asked with impatience that was reflected by him sitting down against a tree and etching something into the ground.

"Bambietta doesn't really have a consistent schedule or pattern, nor does she tell us her plans, so there's no way to know when she'll be here, if at all. With that being said we'll have to start the ransotengai practice without her." Soken explained even though he knew that Uryu didn't really want to practice ransotengai.

"I understand." Uryu replied quietly before he stood up stretched out in preparation for his inevitable ransotengai training. Not only did he find the technique less versatile than blut but exponentially more difficult to use properly as well. To use ransotengai effectively a Quincy not only had to make dozens to possibly hundreds of reishi threads to attach to their body which is demanding enough as is, but they also had to have master class reishi control and skill just to be able to manipulate each thread to conduct the minor, skillful, swift and precise movements that are required for effective combat. To stack onto that, if the physical body itself isn't disabled then the user would have to coordinate the movements of ransotengai with their own body as well. When Uryu told Bambietta about it, she claimed that she couldn't even manage to use the technique amateurly. Safe to say that there's a reason why ransotengai was primarily used by only the most skilled, powerful and eldest Quincies who were all but extinct in the living world anyways.

Soken started by forming a reishi thread, the foundational skill of ransotengai to continue sewing.

"Will you please join me?" Soken asked politely while he continued sewing using his reishi. Uryu nodded and sat beside his grandfather on his log. Uryu turned and watched as his grandfather expertly sowed a mantle made from soft, pure white fabric using solidified reishi threads and pins that he constructed. He moved the flexible threads with just his reishi skills which in itself is an extraordinary feat in reishi manipulation.

"It's already finished, so what does weaving reishi into it do?"

"That's a good question. Solidified reishi is naturally a light material, but we can manipulate it to make it even thinner, lighter and more flexible. Our ability to manipulate reishi and its natural properties allows me to essentially make reishi fabric. There's a few benefits that this offers. The first one is added protection. I can condense and increase the integrity of the flexible reishi fibers after I weave them into the fabric which increases the clothings resistance to spiritual attacks while maintaining its flexibility. The second benefit is that it helps filter reishi and reiatsu which slightly helps with our reishi gathering, but more importantly it helps us resist hollow reiatsu. Most high class Quincy wear is woven with reishi threads." Soken finished explaining at the same time he finished weaving the reishi.

"But we're getting off track. Using ransotengai is much the same as using a reishi thread for sewing the same way I demonstrated but on a much larger scale. The threads have to be flexible, not rigid to allow for complex movements. We also have to be capable of controlling the movement of our threads using just our reshi manipulation skills."

Uryu sighed knowing that he wasn't even capable of independently moving his constructs using just his reishi manipulation until just a few days ago with extensive help from both his grandfather and Bambietta.

"Can you make a flexible thread Uryu?

Uryu focused his reishi to create and manipulate his thread. Uryu successfully created the thread much to Soken's delight, but his thread suddenly dissipated and Soken caught on to the alarmed expression on Uryu's face.

"There's a hollow coming!" Uryu suddenly yelled and right after Soken felt an immense spiritual pressure appear right behind him, and he just narrowly avoided the hollows ambush as it charged past him and Uryu. Soken was completely baffled by how he was unable to detect such a powerful hollow, and he naturally concluded that it can suppress its reiatsu which was an even more unusual skill for a hollow. If Uryu hadn't warned him there was a good chance that he would have died. Soken analyzed its appearance. It was the size of a dozen imposing men put together with flesh that appeared bruised, a defining trait of livor mortis. It walked and looked as if it was a mutated corpse with a distinct mask which took the appearance of an ogrish demon. Such a creature can be mistaken for an Oni from folklore, but Soken knew that it was an Adjuchas class hollow.

"Uryu you have to leave now!" Yelled Soken as soon as he regained his senses, but Uryu was already aiming at the hollow by the time Soken finished. The hollow turned to face Soken but an arrow fired directly into face from the side which caused the hollow to turn its face towards Uryu.

Uryu knew that there was a gap between his and the hollows power, but he remembered that he promised his grandfather to be the best student possible. By allowing his grandfather to fight against that hollow while he himself hid away for his own safety he'd be dishonoring his promise to both his grandfather, the Quincies and himself. And there would be no greater shame than that.

The hollow flared his reiatsu which was so immense that it felt as if it was physically weighing Uryu down before letting out a low pitched intense scream which physically shook Uryu and drowned out every other noise. Uryu's eyes widened out of fear while the imposing hollow slowly approached him and unhinged its mouth before beginning to emit a red light.

Soken activated blut vene and managed to tackle Uryu and himself out the way the moment before the cero fired. The cero incinerated the forest that the Ishida's had grown so fond of. The silhouette of the hollow being visible was distinctly visible despite the smoke which covered the area.

"Licht Regen." Chanted Soken while he simultaneously formed his Heilig Bogen. Hundreds of arrows fired into the smoke which only slowed the hollow down. The hollows fist slammed into the ground where Soken was previously standing with enough force to instantly disperse the smoke around him. The ground rippled and shook beneath Uryu with the shockwave of the strike pushing Uryu back. Despite the distance this put between Uryu and the domineering hollow it was still large enough to nearly completely block Uryu's vision. Uryu collected his bearings and immediately formed a Heilig Bogen and fired the most powerful arrow he could muster which was amplified by his attempt to use Blut Arterie, but Uryu realized that it was all meaningless the moment the hollow opened it's jaw again and literally ate his amped arrow.

The hollow unleashed a guttural noise which was an incomprehensible combination of a growl, a roar and laughter which put Uryu into an instinctual state of shock, paralyzed by his own fear of the monstrosity standing before him.

Suddenly a Ginto vial slashed before his eyes. It was only visible to Uryu because of its dark appearance sharply contrasting with the paleness of the hollows mask. The Ginto flashed blue before erupting into a reishi barrier which separated Uryu from the hollow, and it was then followed up by three more Ginto being tossed around the hollow which all simultaneously exploded around the hollow. Uryu was protected by the barrier, and he was able to make out the explosions forming a Quincy Zeichen before dissipating. Both Uryu and the enraged hollow turned to the side to see Soken standing with his Heilig Bogen manifested. The hollow recovered the injuries which he sustained from the explosions through its high speed regeneration before charging towards his grandfather who then fired the arrow directly into the hollows head.

The arrow had enough power behind it to both stop all the hollows momentum and blow it away. The hollow was knocked to the ground by the arrow, and Soken immediately followed up by getting on top of the hollow and attempting to fire another arrow into its cracked mask. The hollow retaliated by firing another cero directly upwards before Soken could load and fire another arrow which forced Soken off of the hollow. The cero detonated in the air which made the sky glow red for a few brief moments. The Ishida's both attempted to attack the hollow before it can regain its footing. Uryu formed a reishi javelin, something which he came up with on his own after listening to Bambietta's explanation for reishi constructs at the restaurant. He hurled it towards the hollow with the intent to at least damage it although Uryu was hoping it'd be capable of impaling it. Soken had no time to be surprised by Uryus innovation, and he gathered all the reishi around him before materializing another Heilig Bogen and loaded it with a Heilig Pfeil that far outclassed his previous one.

Uryus javelin wounded the hollow, but it still stood up as if nothing had happened, and it shifted its focus to Soken before bestially charging at him. Soken took this exceptional opportunity to fire the arrow which he'd loaded with all the power he and his environment had to offer, but the hollow unexpectedly had counter measures in place for this. It instantly fired a blast that was akin to a cero but different. Soken had never seen such a thing before. It was like a faster variation of a cero that was completely unheard of. Hollows typically had to charge their ceros before firing them, but this hollow instantly fired a weakened cero while it charged towards him. This maneuver allowed the hollow to disperse the arrow just enough for it to push forward with non lethal wounds.

The hollow rapidly closed the distance between the two of them and rather than striking Soken it chose to grab him which blut could do nothing to prevent. The hollow held Sokens head in his hand and tried to crush it, but it couldn't due to Sokens blut. This only enraged the hollow and it started to thrash Sokens body against anything and everything around him while Uryu tried to intervene to no avail.

"Stop it!" Uryu emotionally yelled to the hollow while shooting at it with countless arrows to no avail.

When that didn't work Uryu absorbed all the ambient reishi left in the environment. He tried to reabsorb any and all residual power which his grandfather and the hollow left behind and he combined this with his own strength to forge another javelin. He pushed his capabilities to his limits by attempting to unstably activate Blut Arterie at a level which he knew he likely couldn't handle.

"I said to stop it!"

Uryu tossed the javelin towards his enemy, but unlike the previous instances where it simply shrugged off its attacks through primal anger, this time alone it actually tried to block Uryus attack. And it did so using Sokens body as a shield. Uryus eyes widened as he watched his javelin break through his grandfather's blut which had previously been withstanding the hollows attacks. Both Uryu and the hollow realized that the blut at the point of impact on his back was entirely gone. Soken was attempting to say something, but his noises were muffled by the hand of the hollow which covered his head. Uryu could have sworn that he saw the hollow smile before the hollow lifted his grandfather's legs with his other hand and stretched him horizontally which severely strained and tore Soken's tendons and muscles. It then slammed Sokens exposed back onto a jagged rock which released immense crunching and crumbling noises as both Soken and the rock broke upon contact with one another. Uryu was too stunned to do anything. He couldn't cry. He couldn't fight. He couldn't yell. All he could do was stare at the hollow and Soken's body. Once Uryu comprehended what had happened he immediately got consumed by his emotions despite his overall pragmatism and rationality which was exemplified by his impulsive charge towards the hollow.

Uryu screamed while he formed a Heilig Klinge and attempted to slash the hollow, but he had become so weak this imperfect construct dissipated upon contact with the hollow. Uryu immediately realized this mistake that he impulsively made out of rage at the same time he realized that the hollow was about to attack him. He began using blut but the hollows punched the upper right side of his abdomen with enough force to rupture both his blut and his liver. The force of the attack propelled him through several trees, each one weakening his unfocused blut in that region of his body more and more until it shattered which left his shoulder exposed. The next several crashes broke and mangled Uryus shoulder as well. Once he lost all of his momentum he began to cry out of both pain and despair.

Uryu was still too weak to protect either himself or his father. He failed his obligation to the Quincies, his master and himself. He questioned what Bambietta dn his grandfather saw in him since he had only failed the both of them at every opportunity. The things his father said were all true, and he merely clung onto the faith that his master and Bambietta had in him to deny it. But just like every other instance he can think of, faith alone meant nothing. Uryu wanted to push on and attempt to redeem himself in any way he could, but he physically couldn't. He felt the agonizing pain of his liver rupturing inside of him, and he felt the sharp pain that came with his shoulders being displaced and broken in unnatural ways. He wanted to do something, but his body wouldn't allow it.

His final desperate measure was to attempt to futility use ransotengai so his body could continue on despite his crippled physical state, but he was cruelly reminded of his own ineptitude when he failed to form and functional reishi threads.

The hollow staggered towards him, evidently worse for wear due to injuries sustained throughout the battle. But unlike Uryu the hollow still had the strength to continue onward towards him. Uryu couldn't accept things playing out like this, but he lacked the ability to change anything. Just like when he watched his mother die, and just like when Bambietta had to step in to save his life. Tears rolled down Uryus face and he could do nothing but whimper as death approached him.

All of a sudden several black silhouettes quickly surrounded and engaged with the hollow which prevented it from reaching Uryu. The hollow roared furiously before sluggishly attempting to swat away the figure with no success. Uryu didn't feel anything from the sudden arrival of the Soul Reapers but despair and aimless anger since he and his grandfather failed to hold them off until the Soul Reapers arrived, and the Soul Reapers themselves were too slow to help them.

While several Soul Reapers held off the weakened hollow a few more sat by the sidelines and one of which analyzed Soken's distant body.

"He's dead!" Yelled out the Soul Reaper that was analyzing his grandfather to her comrades.

"Secure him and keep his soul trapped in his deceased kishi body for as long as you can. We're taking him with us to the Soul Society." Sternly instructed a dominant and physically intimidating man who was watching the battle from the sidelines.

"But why? Shouldn't-"

"Were you not strictly placed under my full authority? I distinctly remember Captain Aizen and Zaraki telling you to obey me as squad leader of this hunting party without question." The man said threateningly as he turned to face her.

"Yes sir! I can assure you that it won't happen again!" The young woman responded to her superior in a panicked and pleading tone.

"Good." The man loudly mumbled to himself.

"What the hell is taking you fools so long! If you don't finish off that half dead hollow and force me to handle it myself then I can assure you that there'll be repercussions!" The man yelled to the subordinates who were fighting the reaper.

"Well, even though the Quincy already severely injured the hollow, it's still an Adjuchas." Argued one of the attacking Soul Reapers.

"Woah!" Yelped the unfocused Soul Reaper as it narrowly dodged a tree that the hollow threw towards him while he was distracted.

"That was a rhetorical question you fool! Aren't Squad 12 members supposed to be the smart ones?!" The man questioned.

"Speaking of which, why were those ineffective Squad 12 morons even sent on this combat operation. I understand why they sent a member of Squad 4 with us, but why them." Asked another sidelined Soul Reaper who was about half the size of his imposing superior.

"Because Mayuri, who organized this whole thing, specifically instructed us to bring Squad 12 members along with us. Might as well make them useful while we're here."

Uryu watched as the distant women that he presumed to be some sort of medic left his grandfather before noticing him. She hurried over to Uryu and immediately began analyzing him.

"Hey guys, there's another Quincy here!" The young women yelled out to her superiors which quickly caught their attention. "This ones still alive!"

"Bring the boy with us too then!" The large man instructed while staring at Uryu and the medical Soul Reaper.

The young woman rolled her eyes and began muttering to herself while she began treating Uryu.

"Why the fuck do I need to bring another damn Quincy with us? This one isn't even dead. There's literally no reason for us to bring em back to the Soul Society."

"If you bring me to the Soul Society will I still be able to see my grandfather?" Uryu asked weakly, which shocked the girl. She couldn't even tell that he was still conscious especially considering that the kid showed no reaction to the borderline emergency surgery she was performing on him.

"Ummm. Well probably yeah. You'll both just be spiritual beings by that point, so I don't see why not." The young girl replied nonchalantly. Uryus eyes nearly closed eyes widened a bit more, so he can get a better glimpse of the Soul Reaper, but he otherwise didn't respond whatsoever.

Uryu glanced over and saw that the squad leader had personally stepped in, and he watched as the hollow which his grandfather died against was neutralized by him.

"Hey, can you open your mouth? This'll dull the pain." The girl said apologetically while she held out a small orb. Uryu obliged, but he only managed to open his mouth slightly, so the girl opened his mouth and the little orb into it which caused Uryu to feel an immediate sense of relief despite the hopelessness surrounding him when he reflexively swallowed it.

"I can't believe you endured all that without even budging. I'm so sorry for that, I didn't know that you were still conscious." She explained in a monotone voice. Uryu didn't find it worth the effort to respond.

Uryu saw their leader pick up Soken and one of the other sidelined members came by and forcibly picked up Uryu by his broken arm which made Uryu audibly yelp slightly.

'What the hell are you doing?!" The girl demanded before tugging at his arm which the other Soul Reaper quickly shrugged off.

'Who gives a fuck about this damn Quincy. Go help out those inept Squad 12 fools. They're the ones who're at least somewhat worth saving." The Soul Reaper said in an intimidating tone before carrying Uryus crippled body on his shoulders.

"I understand." The medic cowered before awkwardly going to help the far less severely injured Squad 12 Soul Reapers who were fighting the hollow.

The Soul Reapers began to walk off with Uryu and Soken in tow, completely unable to resist what was currently happening to them.

"Take five more steps with those two and I'll kill all of you." Suddenly interrupted a familiar voice which made Uryu put in effort to open his eyes and raise his head.

"Bambietta?" Uryu said weakly as he immediately recognized Bambietta who was staring down the Soul Reapers. They all immediately stopped what they were doing to stare at her in silence.

"There's more of them? I thought the Quincies were meant to be nearly instinct." Joked the Soul Reaper that was carrying Uryu.

"Whatever, we'll just bring her along too. The more Quincies we bring to the captain, the better." Replied the slim Soul Reaper that Uryu presumed was second in command.

He took out his zanpakuto and took several long strides towards Bambietta, but on the fifth stride Bambietta instantly formed and hurled a reishi ball towards him at top speed which was far too fast for fodder like him to react to. The explosion blew apart the entire top half of his body leaving behind nothing but his blood, gore, fabric and a pair of legs. The Soul Reaper that was holding Uryu immediately dropped him and kept up in the air towards her.

"Eviscerate, Surassha!" The man yelled out which caused his regular sword to release into its shikai state which was a large machete. Not that it mattered since Bambietta immediately formed a Heilig Bogen and shot an arrow at the man while he was above her which caused his entrails and organs to rain on top of her after he promptly exploded. Uryu watched in astonishment as Bambietta mercilessly mutilated the Soul Reaper.

Bambietta scoffed at that guy's gross incompetence while wiping off whatever flesh landed on her face, allowing four attacking Soul Reapers to close the distance between her and them. She knew that she could just kill them all with one bomb but she found that boring, so she formed her Heilig Klinge and allowed them to engage her in hand to hand combat. The first one that reached her tried to clash with her, but his Zanpakuto exploded upon contact with her blade and the ensuing explosion blew up his arms, chest and face. Despite Bambietta making her blade extremely weak intentionally specifically so this wouldn't happen, the explosion which resulted from contact with it still lethally wounded the Soul Reaper much to Bambiettas disappointment. The Soul Reaper let out some sort of odd groan which was probably all he could muster before dying considering that his face was completely destroyed and mangled beyond recognition and his neck was connected to his body by threads.

Bambietta sighed when another Soul Reaper rushed behind her while another one approached from the front. Without even honoring the Soul Reaper with so much as a glance of acknowledgement, Bambietta vertically flicked her Heilig Klinge back faster than the victim behind her could react. This resulted in him getting blown in half vertically although getting quartered would be more accurate since his chest, abdomen, head were all practically completely blown apart by the explosion, leaving behind just his limbs as the only parts of his body that were still somewhat intact.

She then simply punched the guy that was approaching her which put a glaring hole through his chest. Bambietta noticed that one of the Soul Reapers was rushing towards Uryu, so Bambietta instantly killed the two remaining Soul Reapers that were approaching her and blew up the one that was sprinting to Uryu entirely before anyone could so much as perceive her quick movements. Uryu, the squad leader and his remaining subordinates were all stunned by Bambietta killing three men in what they can only perceive as occurring in an instant. Some of them reasonablt being overwhelmed by terror from Bambiettas display.

A few of the subordinate Soul Reapers tried to escape by using shunpo to flash in the opposite direction, but Bambietta instantly flashed in front of them just as quickly with her hirenkyaku,

"Wait! We can negoti-"

The nameless Soul Reaper's head instantly exploded before he could finish which resulted in his comrades being doused in their comrades' flesh and blood. The three other runaways looked upon Bambietta in terror before their heads were instantly disintegrated as well. Bambietta returned to the others who chose not to run away, and as a display of respect decided to kill them with her bare hands rather than using her Heilig Klinge. Two Soul Reapers tried to rush towards her, but within an instant Bambietta was already holding both of their intestinal tracts within each hand. She then yanked her hand which tore out the rest of their guts from their body before she casually dropped her entrails on the floor. She shook her hands to flick away any dripping blood which was on it. Bambietta wanted to force them to their knees using her reiatsu, but she realized that would affect Uryu as well, so she refrained from doing it. When she finished Bambietta turned and saw that the medic was still watching her in stunned astonishment next to her pile of injured Soul Reapers.

She turned back to the three remaining combatants and looked up to the biggest and most imposing one.

"Are you the leader of this unit?"

"I am." He replied fearlessly which made Bambietta raise an eyebrow. She instantly closed the distance between them with the heads of his remaining two combative subordinates suddenly appearing in Bambiettas right hand rather than atop of their heads.

"Tell me. What were you planning on doing with these two? Your life depends on it." Bambietta demanded while gesturing to Soken whom the leader was holding and Uryu who was watching in stunned terror from the floor much like the medic was. Bambietta then instantly dropped the man to his knees, but he was still capable of looking down on her due to his massive size.

"As if I'd ever tell a Quincy bast-"

Bambietta interrupted him by relatively slowly tearing out the man's throat with her free hand. His blood splattered her face and painted her face and clothes red entirely. Bambietta nonchalantly watched the man collapse before walking over to the medic.

"What do you want with them?" Bambietta asked coldly.

"They didn't tell me why we were taking them back to the Soul Society! I was told that it'd just be a Menos hunt, and the unit leader said we'd ambush it, so when we arrived the Quincies were already dead!" The girl explained fearfully before Bambietta began to approach her.

"Wait! I didn't know!" The girl screamed out in panic while she shuffled away from her.

"Bambietta!" Uryu struggled to yell out which caused Bambietta to turn to face him. Uryus eyes widened when he saw the expression of casual ruthlessness on her face. "Please, don't kill her." He muttered while Bambietta turned back and continued to stalk towards the girl.

"I'm sorry! I don't want to die! Please don't-" The girl screamed before she was muted by Uryu caving her skull in with a stomp.

"I believe you."

Bambietta turned back and rubbed the gore that was on the bottom of her shoes onto the dirt before moving towards the injured Soul Reapers.

"Wait! It was Mayuri! Captain Mayuri of Squad 12. He's the one who tasked us with retrieving the Quincies after they lost to the hollow. He didn't say why, but he has a history of experimenting on whatever Quincies he retrieves! I can tell you more if you let me live! I promise."

Bambietta responded to his proposal by casually hurling a bomb at him and his comrades which promptly reduced them all to nothing more than a red pace. Bambietta walked over to Uryu and her demeanor instantly shifted when she saw the severity of his injuries. She hastily retrieved the medical supplies and quickly returned to Uryu's side. She laid him out on his side and used the Soul Reapers Shihakusho as a blanket for Uryu to lay on while she tried to treat him.

"Why did you kill her?" Uryu asked painfully.

"Don't speak. It clearly hurts you whenever you talk."

"I asked… Why did you kill the medic." Uryu reiterated despite Bambiettas prior statement.

"Since you want to talk so much, tell me, what exactly do you think the Soul Reapers were going to do to you when you got to the Soul Society?"

"She didn't know." Uryu struggled to muster.

"She's a Soul Reaper, Uryu. And in case you didn't realize they chose to let your grandpa die despite how kind he's been to them. The Soul Reapers will never forgive us, if they did then they wouldn't willingly allow the only Quincy that still negotiates for peace to die in a hollow attack. That Squad 12 scum over there mentioned that they were planning on taking him to Captain Mayuri. Do you wanna guess what Mayuri does to Quincies? If you don't know then I'll tell you here and now. He continuously conducts extreme so called experiments on us even though he's killed and researched hundreds of surviving Quincies over the years. And I'll just spare you the details on what exactly his experiments are like! So Why should we spare any mercy for the people who'd have us all tortured in a lab if it was up to them?! The Soul Reapers deserve nothing from us. Not even the medic who's help only would have resulted in you getting tortured for even longer. And what do you think would have happened if she did know what Mayuri was planning?! Do you seriously think that things would have played out differently!.

Bambietta ended her tangent when she noticed Uryus eyes tearing up again before shifting her focus entirely to treating him in silence.

"I couldn't save anyone…." Uryu muttered weakly while Bambietta stitched his wounds closed with reishi threads after she administered every applicable spirit treatment that she was familiar with.

"Not my mom. Not the boy at the river bed…. Not Soken…. Not any of the Soul Reapers…. I couldn't even save myself… Time and time again.. So… If it came down to it… I would never be able to save you either…." Uryu vented while tears began to fall down his face. Bambiettas expression softened and she evidently showed regret for putting so much pressure on Uryu with her tangent. She used a clean cloth to wipe his face of any blood and tears.

"Sorry for trying to make you feel like you were wrong for helping someone. You don't really see things like I do and I'm glad that you don't." Bambietta said sincerely which somewhat helped put Uryu at ease.

"You should be able to move now as long as you don't put too much strain on yourself."

Bambietta wrapped Uryus arms around her shoulders as they started to move.

"We have to get out of here before more Soul Reapers arrive."

Bambietta quickly undid the seal binding Sokens soul to his body which would allow him to naturally return to his Majesty, father of the Quincies.

"What are you doing?" Uryu asked.

"By undoing that seal he'll pass on naturally, so the Soul Reapers won't be able to get their hands on him.

"Thank you, Bambietta." Uryu said softly despite everything he witnessed her do.

"What did I tell you before? You shouldn't speak unless it's necessary. It's too strenuous on you. We'll leave Soken here for now. It'll reduce suspicion with the Soul Reapers. It'll just look like they all died to the Adjuchas rather than me since they only knew that Soken would be here not us. They most likely won't have a reason to take his body either, so he'll still be able to get a proper burial too."

Uryu didn't put up any protest as they continued walking away from the scene.

"Remember when you showed the double Hirenkyaku back then? I'll do that again to take you back to a hospital."

Since Uryu didn't respond, Bambietta formed a reishi path which they glided on to flash from place to place. However Bambietta was so proficient with the skill that they were well on the way to reaching his fathers hospital in under a few minutes.

While they rode the reishi path that defined the hirenkyaku technique Uryu noted that the reishi slipstream was cleaning off the blood and dirt all over their bodies and clothes. A strange, delirious part of Uryu was primarily concerned about how Bambietta was doing this in particular rather than all the trauma he experienced in just the past half an hour. Bambietta noticed that this delirium continued to consume Uryu as time went on no doubt because of her and the Squad 4 members temporary treatments fading along with the severity of Uryus injuries kicking in. Without the spiritual stimulants that kept Uryu running prior he'd undoubtedly succumb to his internal bleeding, so she hurried to the nearest hospital as fast as she could, which just so happened to be his fathers hospital. Bambietta reached the hospital and immediately took the emergency entrance that Uryu used when he had to take her to the hospital. The available Emergency Physicians immediately took Uryu off her hands, and before she could leave she was stopped by Ryuken who didn't look particularly good himself.

"We're going to my office. This isn't something we're going to argue on. You don't have a choice." He said sternly while he watched Uryu get tanked to the emergency room.

Bambietta hesitantly followed Ryuken while he speed walked through the building until they reached an elegant room on the upper levels which turned out to be his office.

Ryuken composed himself and calmly stepped in before taking out a chair for Bambietta to sit on. He sat in his own chair before gesturing for Bambietta to take a seat in the other chair, and he wasted no time getting to the point.

"What happened?! Why did I sense a Menos Grande attack my family, and why did I stumble upon countless deceased Soul Reapers, my fathers corpse and a Soul Reaper investigation team when I rushed to see what happened?" Ryuken demanded.

Bambietta went straight to the point as well just as he did.

"The Soul Reapers willingly allowed the Menos Grande to attack Uryu and Soken, so that they can kill the Menos after they weakened it and so they can take them back to the Soul Society. I arrived after before they could leave and promptly stopped the Soul Reapers. I questioned their objective and they said that they wanted to retrieve any Quincies so they could experiment on them. Soken had already succumbed to his injuries prior to that and my first priority after that was to temporarily treat him using the supplies of a Soul Reaper medic to provide spiritual treatments. After that I rushed me and Uryu back here."

"How many times has this happened?" Ryuken said stoically.

"What do you mean?"

"How many times had Uryu nearly died while trying to be a Quincy?"

"This would be the third time."

"Uryus clearly inept as a Quincy. You're the sole reason why Uryu hasn't died three times over. Due to this I can't let Uryu pursue this path any longer. I'll forcibly activate Letz Stil and strip him of his powers. This has gone far enough."

This left Bambietta completely baffled and furious which Ryuken quickly realized due to her jolting from her chair and slamming her hands on his desk

"What do you mean you're going to forcibly use Letz Stil?!"

"Who gave you the right to decide what path he has to follow after you yourself personally ruined any odds of him wanting to be a Doctor. Uryu once told me himself that he can't remember the last time you even talked to your son besides to dissuade him from being a Quincy yet I'm expected to believe that you know what's best Uryu."

"I know that Uryu nearly died three times for the sake of the Quincies. He already lost his mother to the Quincies, and I won't let him lose himself for the Quincies either. Nothing good has ever come from our Quincy heritage, and I wish to ensure that the Quincies won't plague my son like it plagued the rest of our family. Everything else is up to Uryu's own discretion, but the matter of the Quincies alone is my decision."

"You really don't really understand your son anymore do you? Being a Quincy has become an integral part of Uryu for reasons that you never cared to figure out. By stripping Uryu of his Quincy powers, you'd be stripping him of his identity, goals and aspirations which overtime became aligned with his identity as a Quincy. By taking away what has become so integral to Uryu and who he is during this moment of extremely personal vulnerability you'd irreparably break Uryu more severely than being a Quincy ever could."

Uryu told Bambietta about his promise to his grandfather, and she understood his motive for being a Quincy. Stripping Uryu of his powers at a time like this would irreparably break Uryu far more than he already has been. He would never be able to become the Quincy that he promised his grandfather he'd become, and he'd lose his powers without having saved anyone. The only thing he'd be able to look back on is his own failures which he'll never be able to make up for. Base on her own experiences in the Wandenreich, there's only a few things that Bambietta can possibly think of which would be equally or more shameful, humiliating, depressing and ultimately self destructive than being consumed by your own failures without being able to do anything about it, and that's what would inevitably happen to Uryu if he lost his powers at a time like this.

"How so?" Ryuken asked with genuine curiosity.

"That's a matter that you'd have to discuss with your own son, not me. If I did explain his personal motives to you myself then I'd be violating his boundaries. But simply put, by losing

his powers at this time he'd lose the opportunity to make up for his mistakes which would cause him to be consumed by his own failures."

Ryuken appeared to sincerely consider her words and what it entails. Ryuken might not have understood his son, but it's entirely possible that he understood this since Bambietta imagined that such an experience affected him as well based on prior knowledge and the things Uryu and Soken previously told her regarding his upbringing, his wife and the Kurosakis.

"Being a Quincy has been nothing but shackles to me. I want Uryu to grow up free of the Quincy burden that weighed me down so heavily when I was young. I won't let the Quincies do to him what it did to me and the rest of our family. It's already starting to take his life just like it took theirs.

"What it means to be a Quincy to you is vastly different from what it means to be a Quincy to him. You can't know what's best for Uryu if you don't even understand him. Besides, Soken told me about the way he raised you, so shouldn't you understand how it feels to have your own future chosen for you?"

Ryukens face scrunched after he hid his own expression by staring at the floor.

"You may go now."

"Not until I know that you won't use Letz Stil on Uryu."

"Would you believe me if I said no?"

Bambietta considered this. She'd begun to recognize that Ryuken wants what's for best his son, but he didn't actually understand what's best for his son. He might have a better understanding now, but there's no way of knowing just how much he figured out about his son.

Bambietta walked out of the room without answering, and she did some inquiring to find Uryu's room. When she found Uryus room a nurse allowed her in specifically because Ryuken apparently granted her permission to enter. The nurse let her in, and Bambietta watched as Uryu intensely sleeped due to the anesthesia the doctors used on him. She dragged a chair beside his bed and started drawing on a notepad which was forgotten on a table along with a pen beside it. She intended to make sure that nothing else would happen to Uryu until he can handle himself again.

It's been like a week or more since the last update. You'd imagine I worked on this over timebut I locked in wrote 3/4 of the chapter tonight alone after being a lazy bum for about a week.

Rest in piss Soken. I don't have to struggle to write your dynamic with Bambietta and Uryu anymore.

I suddenly remembered that there's characters other than Bambietta and the Ishidas, so the next chapter will be focused on those individuals more so than the Quincy duo.

I wanna write more but my phones at 3% and it's 3 in the morning rn, so I gotta get this chapter out like now before my phone dies and I fall asleep.
