Peter with the bucket of the frictionless liquid that he had managed to acquire; was web slinging while looking down to find the blur of Sanders. The man at the store let him have it after a photo and an autograph for the guy's kids. He was looking for a while until he found a blur go into a diamond store.

He leaped down and quickly went to work pouring the liquid in front of the store and soon Sanders came running out and then started screaming and slipping dropping his sack. "Oh come on... That was my replacement loot... The other one got lost when my sack was ripped..." Sanders complained as Sanders managed to move his body to dodge Peter sending web his way. "Back again Spider-Man... If you think that this is enough to catch me..." Sanders ranted getting up and Peter came up to him and Sanders was managing move past to punch at Peter.

Too fast for Peter to properly react to his Spider-Sense but Sanders wasn't that strong so Peter was taking the punches well. A minute passed and Sanders was getting tired. "Tired... Plus so hungry..." Sanders said before passing out and Peter picked him up.

"Looks like moving that fast burned up all those calories... Glad I don't have your powers or else I would be raking up quite a bill at Burger Frog..." Peter remarked amused.

The police arrived and Peter then threw Sanders to the police; "One Speed Demon to go and..." Peter said and his eyes widened as he suddenly remembered something...

In an office Norman was meeting with Fisk and he presented him with a case; inside there were two high tech gauntlets along with a dark red and yellow full bodysuit with mask that had lenses in the eye areas. "Is this some sort of wrestling costume?" Fisk asked unamused as Norman shook his head.

"It's an impact suit to handle the Vibro-Shock Gauntlets. They were developed by a firm that Oscorp acquired years ago; the plans hadn't had a chance to be tried out for patented before the buy out. We discovered the plans and had them created. Intended to be used for more immediately demolition; a shockwave blast is emitted by the gauntlets. I am sure that you can find one of your underlings to use the suit and gauntlets for a new supervillain." Norman then said as Fisk was intrigued.

Peter in his civilian clothes rushed to the science museum and outside waiting impatiently were Eddie and Mary Jane. "Look who finally decided to turn up and didn't answer his phone." Eddie remarked looking annoyed and Mary Jane was as well.

"Did you want to turn up fashionably late?" Mary Jane asked as Peter looked apologetically at them and sighed.

"Sorry... I got caught up with some stuff..." Peter said as Eddie gave him a look.

"Second time that this has happened Bro... Hope that it doesn't become a habit..." Eddie said as he then went in with Mary Jane looking at Peter before following Eddie.

Peter stared and sighed before going in; "How many times will i have to bail on my friends to be Spider-Man... Is my life going to fall apart like what Felicia's dad said happened to him before he retired?" Peter thought to himself.

Peter later was in his room putting the shielding liquid over his suit along with the big spider logo; he then heard his phone go off and it was Felicia. "I still have your number and I saw the news... So a fast guy... What next huh?" Felicia asked as Peter was silent. "Something on your mind..." Felicia asked concerned as Peter thought that he should get it off his chest.

"I had to bail on MJ and Eddie today to deal with that Speed Demon and something your dad said... He quit because he couldn't keep lying to your Mum... Is this going to destroy my life?" Peter then admitted as Felicia was silent on the other end.

"Something that you have to figure out on your own... Can you stand by when dangerous people hurt innocent people or if someone just needs help?" Felicia asked as Peter frowned and then noticed a photo of Uncle Ben. He knew his answer already.

"I can't... I will make this work somehow..." Peter then replied seriously as he could imagine Felicia's grin on the other end.

"That's the spirit; be seeing you on the field when I'm ready..." Felicia said and then hung up before Peter could attempt to reply.

"You were done with her forever... That's what you told yourself Parker after you broke up with her..." Peter then sighed agitated as he then hid his suit to dry.

Eddie was going to school the next morning in a sour mood; his bro had him and MJ waiting all that time with no proper explanation or why he didn't call. At least he showed up this time unlike the other time. Something was up with him but Peter better get his act together and soon; his grades couldn't afford Peter not to.

Plus he missed the chance to get footage of Spider-Man fighting some sort of speedster guy to run a story on it for his blog. He better have better luck next time that a masked freak...

Eddie then saw on the streets there were people running screaming and sounds of things being destroyed by some ATM machines; there was Spider-Man there with white on his suit fighting some red and yellow masked guy sending out blasts from his gauntlets. He off course got his phone out.

"It's first thing in the morning and I don't have time to be wasting with some loser called... What did you call yourself again?" Spider-Man quipped against the guy.

"It's the Shocker..." snapped the man as he was charging up his gauntlets but Spider-Man webbed them up causing them to implode on him knocking him out with the civilians cheering.

"One day... Your time will come Spider-Man and I will break the story..." Eddie swore as Spider-Man gave the Shocker to the arriving police and web slinged off. Eddie then ran to get to school in time; he should tell this to Pete.

The egghead was probably already at school right now...
