[LOG FILE 041: DARK TORVUS BOG, DARK AETHER]
Stepping back onto the surface of Dark Aether I decided to wait near the portal generator before moving on. I had taken a number of hits during the previous fight with the Pirate Commandos, so I used the opportunity to let the light zone of the generator restore my suit's energy reserves. Once it fully recovered I moved into the next chamber.
Once again I was greeted with a great tree, but this time it was surrounded by the purple water I had seen on my first visit to the Dark Torvus Bog. I remembered A-voq's warning about the danger of the water here, opting not to test if his words were false. Jumping over the murky water I landed on the platform under the raised tree.
I was immediately ambushed by two Ing that seemed to phase into view, which led me to believe these were the Hunter Ing I had seen mentioned earlier in my journey through the Torvus Bog. A quick scan confirmed the suspicion, so I switched to my Light Beam. The creatures were quickly dispatched by my weapon, which alleviated the fears I had about facing these creatures.
With the fight finished I looked at my area map. There was one exit besides the one I used to enter the chamber, and it was at a higher point. Thankfully, the tree in the center had a number of platforms that I was able to utilize. Within no time I was at the door and through it, pushing even further into the Dark Torvus Bog…
