Any great story has many important events to be sure. But every tale not only has to begin with a single step: It requires many smaller moments to reach its end. For a new beginning, every day has a little tale within itself, and every single one of them is a grain of sand that tips the scales as they fall.

17. Bloodline I - Guerrero

Bloodline I - Guerrero Family

Ancient holy warrior lineage of The Order. The Guerreros have been part of Spain since long before the Roman Empire named it Iberia, and have been at the beck and call of The Order, and Heaven, until their curse began making them even more zealous than ever before, ensuring their unreliability in times when finesse was required. They are, however, known to be relentless in their pursues, for good or ill. Their stubbornness against evil and their devotion to God kept them in the good graces of The Order for the longest time.

Warriors by nature, the Guerreros have been born to die in the battlefield, and their blood runs hot with holy wrath and the desire to undo evil. This, through the ages, has been distilled into a clear disgust for injustice and a drive for vengeful thinking. Appointed as the vanguard, destined and devoted to draw the ire of their enemies and die bleeding to death, punctured by arrows or bullets, or trampled by hammers, horses or, in modern days, vehicles. No death was too gruesome, be it given to the enemy or suffered, for them to ever stop.

As of Ouroboros, this family's surviving bloodline is cursed to remain, and die, bound to Hell as its humanity is stripped and demons claim its heritage, or damned to die off in an Extermination. Those in Heaven have learned of Heaven's minimal warning and push for things to be resolved, as well as nonexistent help. Whatever will be of the Guerrero name is unknown.
