Warning mention of suicide
Alastor had not planned to wake up from his slumber...he also did not plan to be rudely awakened "WAKE UP" the voice yelled back again to check on Alastor
"What are you...annoying little pest" Alastor said rubbing his brows tiredly as he checked the time "it's not even early enough to wake the dead" Alastor said as he got out of bed
"Why did you wake me up so early" Alastor said opening the window to the outside only to smell the distinct scent of coffee from the apartment next door
"You have a job to do which is to save your soulmate from ending her own life" The voice said making Alastor sigh in annoyance while gripping his aching head
"if I had a cup of coffee I'd have a clear head about this" Alastor said still not used to being human again a piano could be heard playing in the apartment next to him
The somber tone of the piano made Alastor close his eyes and listen in "though...I must admit...that music is rather sad" Alastor said
"Let me tell you the details...your soulmate suffers from insomnia, double personality disorder, depression and has suicidal thoughts throughout her day" the voice said
Alastor poured his cup of coffee and took a sip "nothing like a warm cup of coffee to wake you up" Alastor said making the voice annoyed "are you even listening to me" the voice said irritated
"Alright...if I do as you ask will you leave me alone" Alastor said finally irritated enough to ask this of the annoying voice that keeps talking in his head
Later...
Izul walked out of her apartment and locked the door walking down the stairs of the building as she just missed Alastor who had opened his door to get going
Alastor put his coat on and sighed as he walked into the elevator only for one of the neighbors to tell him the elevator was out of order
Alastor was a bit peeved at this so he walked down the stairs while Izul was smoking a cigarette her eyes dim and hopeless
Alastor shivered slightly not expecting any cold air from outside only to realize it had started raining "just great" Alastor said sarcastically having not prepared an umbrella for himself
Alastor covered his eyes rubbing them tiredly while at that time Izul had passed him by the door noticing him and left an extra umbrella
Alastor had felt someone pass him but looked around and saw no one he looked down to see an umbrella had been left for him so he took it
"So tell me...what does my soulmate look like..." Alastor asked slightly curious "oh..." the voice smirked mischievously "I thought you wanted to avoid your soulmate" the voice said smugly
"I'm asking for a description here" Alastor said losing his patience with the voice only to hear the voice grow panicked "save the woman going into ongoing traffic"
Alastor was startled by the sudden command but he had no choice but to comply as he saw a woman slowly falling forward
Alastor grabbed her arm and saved her from being hit by an oncoming vehicle making Alastor sigh in relief
However...Izul was not expecting to suddenly be saved by a total stranger...she had really expected to be dead on the pavement
Izul sighed in disappointment "What a bummer" Izul said softly making Alastor hold up his umbrella as he looked down at the woman in his arms
Alastor didn't know what to expect when he suddenly felt his heart pound in his chest seeing the sight of Izul who seemed to be ready to give up on life
'Is this...' Alastor thought as he looked at Izul "your soulmate...yes it is, her name is Izul Ashengrotto..." the voice said and surprised Alastor with the next words
"she's a goddess who's given up on herself because of her psychotic tendencies" the voice said Alastor didn't know the feeling of being in love...until now
