A day after Rayne was sick she ended up getting a week off work since it was Hiroshi's orders and he was afraid she would get sick and overwork herself again

At home

Rayne was forced to relax at home since she was hellbent on working so much so she waited for Kokkuri to come back from taking Kohina to school

'Nothing I can do but wait...this is ridiculous I should be working right now' Rayne thought to herself as she pulled out a book to read

Inugami poked his head out from behind the sofa "Darling" Inugami said as he whimpered like a puppy making Rayne sweatdrop "yes Inugami?" Rayne said setting her book down

"Would you like to have a girls day" Inugami said turning into his female form "not really" Rayne said rubbing her neck awkwardly

"Eh..." Female Inugami whimpered like a kicked puppy as she turned back to her male form he sulked making Rayne feel kind of bad about saying no

"Can you take out your dog ears...I want to rub them" Rayne said making Inugami look at her excitedly "yes" Inugami said as his dog ears pop out from his head

Later...

Inugami was relishing in the ear rubs he was getting it felt like he was in heaven, only Rayne could have made him feel like this

Rayne kept rubbing his ears making Inugami close his eyes enjoying the feeling of being in her arms...

Kokkuri came back from taking Kohina to school only to see this scene..."what are you doing" Kokkuri said with a raised eyebrow

"Ear rubs...wanna try" Rayne said as Inugami looked at Kokkuri and closed his eyes again taking Rayne's rules seriously in getting along

"I'm good" Kokkuri said waving off the offer Inugami scoffed "are you a fox or a chicken I can't seem to tell which is which" Inugami snickers trying to get a rise out of Kokkuri

"You mutt, why I ought a..." Kokkuri said only to feel his ears getting rubbed by Rayne making him feel totally relaxed and blissful

"Does this seem so bad" Rayne said with a grin on her face while both Inugami and Kokkuri felt like they were in heaven...

A knock sounded at the door "You can come in" Rayne said as Ember walked in with their cousin Aria Mystic "Aria has something she wants to talk to you about" Ember said

"ah? Aria this is a rare visit" Rayne said stopping the ear rubs making both Inugami and Kokkuri pout before going to do their own thing

Aria sat in the sofa in front of Rayne "so...I want to ask, for some advice" Aria said nervously while twiddling her fingers while Rayne noticed her nervous twitch

[Lovette- well that's mama for you she's so observant] Lovette said with a nod [Rayne- do you have to Comment about everything] Rayne sweatdropped

"You got a concert coming up?" Rayne said making Aria nod "your too nervous to calm down...so you want advice on methods to keep you from freezing up on stage" Rayne said

"Yeeeeees" Aria said in defeat Rayne sighed and rubbed the back of her head "alright I'll give you some advice...but try to be mindful what you do this for ok" Rayne said as Aria nodded

Meanwhile...

Ember was sharing her mochi with Inugami and Kokkuri "eh? Stage fright, how does that cousin of yours have stage fright" Kokkuri said

"At this point my sister is nearly the oldest of this generation except for the fact that she's not...but our family goes to her for advice since she's wise and everything" Ember said

"Hmmmm...doesn't Darling Rayne ever get tired of it" Inugami asked curiously "Rayne doesn't usually voice her complaints unless she really has something on her mind that's bugging her" Ember said leaning back in her chair

"That's just how she is" Ember said eating some mochi while this made Inugami and Kokkuri curious as to what even bothers Rayne since she didn't seem to say anything to them about it
