The Dancing Bellsprout

So when Brad was heading through to Cabell Town he had to go over the damn that crossed the river. It was a weird day though because he saw many bald dude in what he would described as dresses dancing. This was weird but they kept saying when Brad was trying to pass. "Today we are dancing for the Bellsprout someday we'll disappear." To Brad this seemed like a bizarre festival. There were also people battling Bellsprout on the damn.

On the side of the activities there was one lone sad Bellsprout. That is when brad went over to it. The Bellsprout clearly wanted to battle with the other Bellsprout, bur did not have a trainer. Brad looked down at it and said "Hey buddy, would you want me to be your trainer? I will battle with you in the battles over there. That is if they let me battle it seems that they are all a part of a group." Bellsprout seemed happy with those terms and decided to go with Brad.

Now Brad would only have to get by the dancers to battle the Bellsprout and get to Cabell town. Even when Brad showed the dancers the Bellsprout that they still did not let him pass them. That is when Hayden and Michael showed up and were also trying to get to Cabell town. "Hey Brad, what's the hold up?" asked Michael. "Well, the dancers will not let me by them. I do not know what to do." said Brad. Now Michael had an idea that was partly genius. He just joined in the dancers. Brad started to laugh but joined in as well. "Guys no we can't just join in the dance…" said Hayden. That was right before he got pulled in. The dancers were doing a movement where they would wave their arms like a wave. While they were doing that they were bowing then leaning as far back as they could in a circular motion. The boys took to it quickly, and even got some laughs out of it. When they got to the other side, they had to pull Michael out of the line to stop him from going again.

Now the battle was about to start the battle royale of Bellsprout. Then Brad summoned his Bellsprout from its Pokeball. He registered for the Battle Royale of Bellsprout. It was clear that when the Royale started that all the Bellsprout using Vine whip in every direction. That is when Brad used growth to start the battle. Which raised Bellsprout's attack and special attack. That is when the first Bellsprout that got hit by the whip of Brad's Bellsprout was immediately out. Then three Bellsprout attacked Brad's Bellsprout. The one on the left was hit with a bind attack. The middle one got knocked out with a vine whip attack. The last jumped up to get momentum for the whip but was met with a sleep powder attack. Then Bellsprout started to do the Bellsprout dance. Which knocked out three Bellsprout because of some good timing on Brad's Bellsprout. Then the last Bellsprout was right in front of Brad's Bellsprout. That is when Bellsprout used growth twice while the enemy attacked. Then the enemy smacked Bellsprout. It did not look good for Brad's Bellsprout. Then Brad's Bellsprout smacked the other one more time. Which made Brad's Bellsprout win, and once it won Brad's Bellsprout evolved. It was clear that Brad's Bellsprout was the best because it had bested twenty-five other Bellsprout. The monk looking man gave Brad a leaf stone. "Congrats on winning the annual Bellsprout Battle Royale! Looks like you will not be fighting in the Battle Royale next year with that Weepinbell." Then Brad evolved his Weepinbell into Victrbell immediately. After this Brad was able to go to Cabell Town and rest at the trainer club with visions of his next gym battle in his mind.

The Seasons Changing

Brad did not really notice the chill that was on the city. It was clear that it was getting close to winter. Even though it was always cold in Cabell Town. This is why they placed the Ice Gym here. Brad was outside looking at the snow-covered mountain. Then Brad saw a young lady named Crystal she was probably her early twenties and had hair of blue. "Hey, I see you are adoring our mountains!" she said. Brad replied "Yeah it is very beautiful. I can't believe how cold it actually is in Cabell Town. What do you know about the ice types that live in the area. I am trying to catch all of the Pokémon. Maybe the ice types could be next." Crystal laughed "What do I know about the ice types in the area? What do I know... (wheezing) that is so funny. I am the gym leader of the gym in Cabell Town. I know everything that there is to know about Ice types in Cabell town. I know that the Jynx live on the south end of town and like to sing their songs to get the attention of trainers. The Cloyster, Seel Shellder, Dewgong and Lapras like to stay by the icy beach. It does not really get any normal beach activities, but it is great for a triathlon that gets Pokémon to pull sleds, and swim. If you want to catch them all you need to go down to icy beach."

That is when Brad traveled to the Icy Beach. Brad called out his Pikachu to ride with him. The team started to walk out on the beach when Brad saw a Seel. That is when Pikachu jumped of Brad's shoulder and attacked Seel with a quick attack. Then Pikachu shocked Seel with thunderbolt attack. Seel attacked with an aurora beam attack. Which got the tail of Pikachu which made it extremely heavy. Then Pikachu hit Seel with another thunderbolt attack, and it was captured.

Next Brad saw a Dewgong. He. called out Venasaur to hit the Dewgong with a vine whip attack that looked like a tree trunk was headed towards Dewgong. Dewgong fought back with a bright Ice beam attack that hit Venasaur hard. Brad then Venasaur caught Dewgong that wrapped up Dewgong in a vine. That made Dewgong unable to battle and Brad also caught the Dewgong.

That is when Tyrus showed up on the Icy Beach. He ran towards the shore and wanted to take one of the Lapras eggs. Lickitung shot his long tongue to grab the egg. The Lapras started to shot ice beam at the tongue of the thief. Then Pikachu slashed the tongue of Lickitung with Iron tail. The egg fell gently on the snow. That is when Brad shocked Lickitung so hard that it was not allowed to battle. Then Tyrus tried to send out his Dragonair, but it was just a moment before the Dragonair fell to the Lapras. Then Tyrus started to run away, but in a instant he was frozen up to his head in a pillar of ice. Crystal had seen what had happened and caught the thief that tried to hurt the Lapras. The Lapras egg then hatched and became a baby Lapras. The baby Lapras decided to go with Brad because it understood that he saved it. So, Brad got a Lapras into his party that was a great honor for the Lapras to trust Brad.

Then a horde of Shellder attacked Brad because of the incident with Lapras. Then Brad used Pikachu to keep his Pokémon safe from harm. Then Brad attacked three Shellder with thunderbolt. Which made them al knock out they were all caught, but more Shellder kept attacking. Five Shellder attacked after that. Pikachu knocked the one on the right with iron tail. Then Pikachu di a backflip and knocked out the one on the left with Iron tail as well. The one in the middle was taken out by a thunderbolt. The next two were taken with a quick attack. They were caught and sent to Professor Cypress. When Brad made it back to the Trainer Club he evolved Shellder to Cloyster and Pikachu to Raichu.

The Training Building

Int the morning Crystal was waiting in the main room of the Trainer Club for Brad. She walked up and said "I am trying to put on an event today where the people of Cabell Town can practice battling bad guys. We do not want what happened in Anderson to happen here. We are running a indoor fighting symposium. What we really need is a bad guy. Would you be willing to play the role of bad guy?" Brad laughed and said "I would love to be the bad guy. Everyone fear for I am here! MORRIM!" Crystal gave Brad a dirty look, and said "Please do not do that again. You have got the job though. Two or three trainers will come in and battle you. If they defeat you they will battle you again on the next level. If they make it to the roof the pass the test."

The first floor was Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee. They were not Brad's strongest Pokémon, but they were worth a fight. The first three trainers come through the door. They three Pokémon were Sandslash, Rattata and Pidgey. Brad laughed manically and said You got to raise your Pokémon to be more powerful." That is when Hitmonchan pulverized Rattata with one Mach Punch. Hitmonlee defeated the Pidgey with a quick rolling kick. Then Sandslash popped up out its hiding spot Then Hitmonchan swatted that Sandslash away with Mach Punch for a failure of that team. Brad gave the team some ideas on how to best work together and beat this team. Then it was time for the next team.

Then a team of Charizard, Ivysaur, and Wartortle. Charizard made Hitmonlee tie itself into a knot. Every time Hitmonchan threw a punch Charizard would stop the punch with air slash. This team got to proceed to the next floor. Then it was a room that seemed like only Alakzam was in it. The three Pokémon all attacked Alakzam in one instant. That is when Gengar came out of the shadows and shocked Wartortle with thunderbolt. Then Alakzam caught Ivysaur in a psychic attack that knocked it out. Then Gengar shot up out of the shadows and shocked Charizard with thunderbolt as well. This made this team also fail.

Then the next group fought with a Rhydon, Chansey and Scyther. The Rhydon went to blows with Hitmonchan. Then Rhydon Hitmonchan punched with Mach punch multiple times. The Rhydon would hit Hitmonchan with a horn attack. Then Hitmonchan got sky uppercut. That is when Chansey gave Rhydon and Hitmonchan an egg. Rhydon ate the egg, and was healed, but Hitmonchan got defeated with egg that blew up in his face. Hitmonlee was defeated multiple fury cutter attacks from Scyther. Alakzam was defeated by the fury cutter attack from Scyther as well, and Rhydon took down Gengar. The last room was just Venasaur that stopped Chansey and Rhydon with a two-vine whip that slammed them against the walls. Scyther was to fast though. Venasaur got hit with wing attack, and then powered up fury cutter. This made this team pass and gave some hope to Cabell Town if the evil from Team Ancient tried to attack.

Crystal thanked Brad for participating as the villain in the little exercise. She said that they would be much more prepared for when Team Ancient attacked. Now it seemed like she was not allowing for the fact that they may not. She just seemed to know that one day the battle was going to come to her Icy Shore.

The Icy Battle

Now the next day the most predictable thing finally came to fruition. Team Ancient attacked the town. Their entry method was the Icy Beach. The alarm was set, and all of the people in town sprung into action. Crystal had prepared her town for the condition that there was attack. Now about hundred Team Ancient grunts were on the beach before the town could form a small army to go against them. They were given orders by Thana that set on the top of a battleship that was attacking the shore. It was Brad's idea that the people with ice Pokémon should attack the sides to get to the shore faster, and defeat the battle ships. The people with ice types were the calvary while the people with regular Pokémon attacked the hundred people army on the beach.

Crystal yelled very loudly "Remember this is what you have trained for make sure that Team Ancient does not win the day." Then more quietly said "Brad lead the land fight as I take out the ship." Brad took out Venasaur and laid on heavy fire against the oncoming assault. The forces of Cabell Town made it almost impossible for the Team Ancient team to move forward. The problem was the Crystal's team kept losing the attack. The other side of the battle the calvary on that side seemed to proceed further. Brad had an idea. Brad got the land unit to fall back, and the calvary surround the team Ancient crew. That was great advantage until Team Ancient showed them their secret weapon. They found a weak spot in the defense of the Cabell Town crew. That is where they let the Golem that they had captured to use self-destruct.

The few troops that were insane enough to use self destruct on their own Pokémon seemed to start breaking the lines of the Cabell Town crew. That is when the Team Ancient crew started to throw revival herbs to the Golem which allowed them to use self-destruct multiple times. It was chaos on the battle fields because of the many explosions that were happening.

That is when Brad got in front of the Golem and got Venasaur to attack the Golem which made it where the attacks were slowing down but it was not enough. That is when Hayden fell out of the sky and called out Blastoise to take out the Golem. That is when Brad saw a small air force of Pokémon attacking the ship from above. At the front of the air force was a Charizard. "We heard that Team Ancient was attacking and thought we would come and help the effort." said Hayden. Now with Hayden and Brad attacking the Golem it was clear that the Golem was forced back into the ranks with the other Team Ancient members.

It was then that Crystal's calvary unit finally made it to the ship. The icy attacks led the ship to be put five feet in the air. This caused it to be that the soldiers on the beach could not get anymore crew. The air force had been fighting on the deck with the Team Ancient grunts that were on the ship. They were surrounded by the grunts but Michael, and his Charizard did not seem to care about such disadvantages. The Charizard was spitting out fire in all different directions making it knock all different Pokémon on the ship. It came to pass that Thana thought to attack Charizard. Which was meet with a seismic toss of her Pokémon. That is When Micheal got on Charizard, and Charizard grabbed Thana. Thana and Michael flew away on Charizard towards Cabell Town.

Now when all of the Team Ancient crew saw their leader fly off with Micheal they surrendered. Even the grunts on the beach surrendered when they saw their admin was captured. When they were taken into captivity their Pokémon were taken, and they were all brought to a ice prison made by Crystal that was on the Icy beach. Now they were feed, but the night was not very comfortable for them because of the freezing beach. There were not enough blankets in the whole town that was needed for the fugitives that attacked the town. It would not be able to make them comfortable before they were brought to trail before the Pokémon League.

Now Crystal and Brad interrogated Thana, and wanted to know why she had attacked Cabell Town. She had Dewgong stand right next to where Thana was sitting. "Why did you attack Cabell Town?" Crystal questioned. Thana gave her look that said she would never talk to the likes of Crystal. That is when Crytal froze the feet of Thana. "Well do you want to start talking or should I keep going? I believe that you should be willing to talk with me. Now tell me why did you attack my town?" Then Thana yelled "For chaos pure chaos. We wanted to make oiur forces stronger. We need to take over Cabell Town as a place to make our base, but we really wanted chaos." Then Crystal got Dewgong to creep the ice up the leg of Thana. Crystal said "Anything else?" Thana screamed "No! No! Please do not hurt me. Please do not hurt me. I know nothing else. I do not know if I will even ever get out of this." Then Crystal relented but decided to leave the ice blocks on the legs of Thana.

That is when a force of Aerodactyl swarmed into Cabell Town. Descending upon the rooftop where they took Thana was Morrim. He was wearing a purple vest with button down shirt. He was wearing the crown upon his head, and the scepter to give order to his subordinates. He swooped down and said "Nice to see you again Brad." In that moment Aerodactyl grabbed Thana with the two ice blocks on her legs still flying off. When Crystal and Brad got back to the beach the grunts had been evacuated by Team Ancient. So that their entire force was back to fight another day. Except for the many Pokémon that was still in the custody of the Pokémon league. Now everyone that fought, and evacuated the people of Cabell was on the beach. Crystal formed a great pedestal with Dewgong and started to speak "On this day we have fought a great battle for Cabell Town. We were prepared to fight for Cabell town no matter the cost of the fight. People evacuated the civilians which made us have no losses. The evil team Ancient did not enter the town except for the unit that stole Thana from us. We fought and we won the day!"

Cabell Town Tournament

Now when the wreckage of the battle was picked up Cabell Town decided to have a tournament to decide who the greatest hero of the battle was. Now the terms of the battle was going to be pod one on one battles. Which meant thirty three pods of three and one with four would compete with one Pokémon. Then their would be one more round of pods this time two pods would have four and one would have three. Then the last pod, and the victor of this pod would win the tournament.

Brad was first in a pod of three. In the first battle of the tournament Brad used Raichu because he thought most people would have water types. Also, Raichu needed some exercise before the Gym Battle. So the opponent of Brad used a Kingler to fight in the tournament. So the battle between Raichu, and Kingler started. Kingler started the attack with a crab hammer attack that did not do much damage to Raichu. Raichu retorted with a quick thunderbolt attack that was quite shocking to Kingler. Then Kingler used its small claw to use crab hammer attack into the big claw. Then the trainer called out guillotine attack. That attack always is a one hit knock out if it lands. So Raichu struggled with Kingler with its iron tail so that it would not hit guillotine attack. This succeed to evade the attack. Raichu then shocked Kingler with thunderbolt for the win.

Then the next battle was Brad against a man that was apart of the air force in the battle. Now this man used a Pidgeot that he thought would have made a good fight. So Brad started the fight with a thunderbolt from Raichu to Pidgeot. Then Pidgeot got closer to Raichu. Raichu grabbed Pidgeot by the neck with iron tail. This made Pidgeot fly off with Raichu on its back. Which made Pidgeot slow down a considerable bit. Raichu then rode Pidgeot's back like a surfboard and shocked Pidgeot with thunderbolt until it fainted. Brad had won the pod.

Brad then moved to the next pod that seemed to have two trainers that where older they must have been apart of the evacuation squad. The reason Brad thought this was because he had not seen them in the battle. Now Brad thought that he could take both of these trainers and advance to the finals. He was to battle the man first then the lady.

In the first battle Brad faced a trainer with a Jynx. A Pokémon that Brad had fought with multiple different times. "I helped evacuate the children with the song of the Jynx." The man started the attack with Jynx trying to get a kiss from Raichu. The lovely kiss attack failed for Jynx. Raichu started to attack Jynx with its iron tail. Jynx caught the tail with great pain, and went in for a lovely kiss attack. That is when Jynx got the shocking realization that Raichu could use thunderbolt in close quarters. Jynx quickly dropped Raichu's tail and hit him with a Ice Punch attack. Raichu met the attack with another iron tail attack that made Jynx faint.

Then Brad faced the old lady that said, "I helped evacuate people with my Farfetch'd." Then Brad used thunderbolt on Farfetch'd to start the battle but kept fighting with a fury cutter attack. Then Farfetch'd attacked with a much more painful fury cutter attack. Then Farfetch'd did it again which hurt even more because fury cutter did more damage for every time it was used in a row. Then Raichu grabbed Farfetch'd's leak with an iron tail attack. Making it impossible to use fury cutter attack. Then Farfetch'd grabbed Raichu and started to fly. That was when Raichu used thunderbolt attack to hurt Farfetch'd. that meant that Farfetch'd dropped Raichu. Raichu still had the leak of Farfetch'd. it seemed like Farfetch'd was getting more desperate to have its leak back. That is when Farfetch'd attacked with aerial ace a move that would never do much damage to Raichu. Raichu then jeered at Farfetch'd that it still had its leak. That is when Farfetch'd di the same attack again and again to no avail. One time when Raichu got hit with arial ace Raichu got Farfetch'd with thunderbolt, and Brad won the pod.

Now in the last pod was two people that Brad recognized. He had to fight against to very influential people in the battle now. It was Crystal and Hayden that Brad would have to fight for the championship pod for the tournament. Crystal then said "What if I made this tournament mean a little bit more than just a ceremonial hero role. If you beat me in our battles you will get gym badge." Now Brad drew that he would not be in the first battle. Crystal and Hayden fought in battle and the outcome was that Hayden beat Crystal to win the gym badge.

Then Crystal and Brad faced one another. "Alright Raichu this is for the Cabell Town Snow Badge. We got to fight our very best to win the badge from Crystal." Then Crystal used her Dewgong, and Brad fought back with Raichu. "I knew that was going to be the Pokémon that you would choose. I assumed that it would be weak to an electric type." Raichu started the battle with a quick attack that hit Dewgong. Then Raichu hit Dewgong with a iron tail that was like whip on its back. The iron tail went around the Dewgong. That is when Dewgong froze the tail apart of the tail that was closest to the body. Then Raichu started to let go of Dewgong, and Dewgong would freeze more of its tail. This made Raichu where it could not use attacks that forced it to move its tails. It made Raichu basically immobile, and impossible to move. Raichu was fine with that though because it retorted with a thunderbolt attack that shocked Dewgong to it very core. Then Dewgong shot two Ice beam attack really quick to both of the electric packs on its cheeks. That stopped Raichu's electric attack. Now Raichu felt that its tail was starting to defrost. It made its tail become iron and hit Dewgong with the rest of the ice still on the tail. Then whipped it with Iron tail one more time for good measure. Then Dewgong and Raichu were facing each other. Dewgong shot a ice beam, but Raichu jumped over Dewgong hitting its cheeks on Dewgong's horns. This knocked the ice of Raichu's cheeks and that is when Raich landed that he gave a great thunder attack to Dewgong. Which knocked Dewgong out.

"Well Brad, you have won yourself a Snow Badge. If you beat Hayden, then you will win the tournament. If you lose against Hayden, then you will get second place. I am thoroughly third place in this tournament. The people of Cabell Town are truly excited because you have defeated their gym leader. You should give Hayden you best match, and I know that he will do the same."

An announcer then exclaimed "It is time for the final match of the tournament. The winner of this match will win the tournament and be the hero of Cabell Town." With this the crowd roared with thanks for the two boys fighting in the battle of Cabell Town. Then Hayden used his Blastoise to fight, and Brad went back to using Raichu. Blastoise sent out the guns on the top of its shell. Blastoise started off the fun with a rapid spin attack. Raichu hit it off with an iron tail attack on Blastoise. That made Blastoise spin off in the other direction. Then Blastoise used hydro pump that hit Raichu with multiple different attacks because of the spinning. This hit Raichu hard but it was not going to take him out. Then Blastoise got closer to Raichu and hit it with Rapid spin attack. Then Blastoise started to get on its feet and was met with a quick attack to knock it back down. Blastoise planted both its feet and aimed its guns at Raichu. That is when Blastoise hit Raichu with another Hydro pump for more damage this time. Raichu then used thunderbolt down the streams of hydro pump attack. That made the electric shock come from the inside of Blastoise. Hayden declared "We need more power. I do not know if I can win this with the type disadvantage, but I know if I power up my hydro pump with this move you will not stand a chance. Blastoise use Rain Dance." That is when Brad started to laugh. Brad then said to his friend "You know that is usually a great move for a water type. It raises the power of the water type attack. One problem it also gives thunder a one hundred percent chance to land." Brad stopped his dialogue as soon as Blastoise did Rain Dance attack. Then Raichu used thunder attack on the Blastoise. Blastoise was knocked out, and Brad won the tournament.

The announcer said "What a wicked way to end the tournament. I want to congratulate Brad on winning the tournament. Brad is officially the Hero of Cabell Town." Crystal approached Brad and Hayden saying "Thank you for serving our town, and battling on our behalf. Hayden came to the aid of Brad and Cabell Town when Team Ancient started to sacrifice their Golem to win the battle. Brad and Hayden courageously fought the Golem back into the ranks of Team Ancient. Even though all of team Ancient got away we still won the day. No damage was sustained by the building in Cabell Town. None of our people were captured by Team Ancient. There was no loss of life because of the Cabell Town attack. While some of us were injured that was the worst to happen, and Cabell Town thank you for your sacrifice. If only some of us got injured, then we won the day. We defeated Team Ancient, and I wanted to thank you for your service. You have all fought valiantly. You are all heroes of Cabell Town."

Helping One Another

After the tournament Brad did something that he had not done in a long time. He checked the bulletin board to see if there were any task that he could do. One note explained that he wanted to fight in the battle of Cabell but he was not able to because he did not have a Pokémon that was strong enough. His name was Ronald, and he need me to take him to the bottom of the valley where Staryu usually live. This would make his team that much better to be able to take on the Team Ancient that might attack Cabell Town in the future. SO Brad agreed that Ronald could go down the Valley with him and they could look for Staryu. Brad also needed a Staryu to complete his Pokédex. This meant that he could get the valley Pokémon while helping one of the residents of Cabell Town become stronger. This was a great win for Brad, and he decided to take on the mission. Apparently this also allowed Brad to get a few Club Dollars not that that he needed them, and he would also get a higher ranking in the helpers on the bulletin board.

Now a fairly sporty kid that was much younger than Brad came and said "Hey I am Ronald. You will be taking me to the bottom of the valley today, right? I only have a Rattata, and a Pidgey. So, you will need to take on the serious threats of the valley. While I might try to take on the weaker Pokémon. I want to make my team better but I also want to add new Pokémon to my team. Would you do me a favor, and teach me how to battle? I think that I would like for my Pokémon to play Gridiron, but I have to teach Pokémon to battle to keep my family safe. Alright you ready to hit the road?" Brad responded "That sounds like a plan. Let's get going!"

Now on the way down the valley there was a small path that had a downward incline. So, there was one way down, and one way up. So on their way down Brad and Ronald saw some Tangela that were in their way. Brad said "Alright Ronald it is time that you can learn to battle with your Pidgey. That is when Ronald smirked and thought that it was great idea. Ronald ordered Pidgey to use gust to attack the Pidgey. Pidgey blew the vine whip attacks away with gust attack. Then Pidgey hit all three Tangela with a quick attack. Then the Pidgey hit them with a wing attack. It was then that Ronald threw one of his Pokeballs at the Tangela. Ronald had caught a Tangela. Then Brad said "I thought that we were here for Staryu?" Then Ronald answered "yeah but I brought more than enough Pokeballs just in case something like this was going to happen." That is when Brad threw a Pokeball as well to capture another one of the Tangela. The last Tangela was knocked out.

The next was a group of Magnemite, and Magneton. Brad used his Charizard to take out the Magnemite and Magneton with a flamethrower attack. It was a very simple maneuver, but Brad did not think that Ronald was ready for the challenge of these Pokémon. So brad captured a Magnemite and a Magneton. So that he would get them in the Pokédex. It was a good time for all, and Ronald learned more about battle. They kept on heading down the mountain.

When the duo was almost on the bottom on the valley. When the path was congested with many Meowth. Brad then suggested that Ronald used his new Tangela to fight them. Then the Meowth started to attack Tangela. Then when one used fury swipes near Tangela. Ronald got Tangela to grab the arm of Meowth and knocked Meowth to the ground. Then Ronald used Pidgey since there were so many Meowth. Then Pidgey took two down by hitting a wing attack on the legs of the Meowth. Tangela saw this and did the same with vine whip on the Meowth. The last one was knocked in the air with vine whip, and then hit with a wing attack from Pidgey. All of the Meowth were taken out. Brad was impressed by his new young student. Now both of them caught a Meowth. When the battle was over Pidgey evolved into Pidgeotto. This evolution had little Ronald talking for a whole fifteen minutes because he was so excited.

Now the boys made it to the bottom of the valley. They had to look for the Staryu. Brad and Ronald stopped to sit by a pond because they had been searching for an hour. Then they saw a flash of red light. It was a flash of five red lights in different places. That is when those five spots that lit up started to rise up from the grounds and Brad and Ronald were shook because those were Staryu. Ronald then threw out his Tangela and started to use vine whip on all of the Staryu. The Staryu released a swift attack to hurt the Tangela. That is when Ronald started to focus on the strongest Staryu. Ronald kept getting Tangela to use vine whip on that one strong Staryu. That is when that Staryu fainted, and Ronald caught it. Then Ronald knocked out the next powerful one while taking all of the others attack. Brad caught that one when it fainted. Ronald then finished of all of the Staryu. Ronald told Brad "Thank you for helping me catch this Staryu. I know that you have been really helping me get it. I have become stronger on the way. We have fought a plethora of Pokémon just to get down here. Those fights made me become stronger. You could have easily beaten them all, but you allowed me to train my abilities. Thank you!

Now since there was only way up and down the path. They had to walk along the same path to get back up to Cabell Town. Along the way Ronald fought eight Geodude, two Onix and five Sandshrew. This was not at all a problem the Pokémon were just in the way. The Staryu was simply the best Pokémon that Ronald had. He could defeat all of these Pokémon with Staryu because of the type of advantage. Finally, the adventure was over, and Brad had helped the young boy become that much better of a trainer. When they got back Brad evolved his Staryu into a Starmie to get another Pokémon in his Pokédex.

The Rampaging Onix

Brad then looked on the bulletin board again because he had so much fun yesterday working with Ronald. Brad then read "We need help with a Onix. Trainers that are on their Pokémon Journeys are unable to pass because of a vicious Onix." Brad took the objective because he wanted to help the trainers. Brad brough his new Meowth on his shoulder and walked down the valley.

On the way down about ten Pidgey were in the way of the route down the valley. Meowth was angered by the Pidgey. Probably because it lost to Ronald's Pidgey the day before. So it wanted to fight. Brad though that this was an excellent opportunity to fight with his new Meowth. Meowth was about to get hit by a Pidgey when he leapt and scratched the back of Pidgey. Then scratched the front of another. Then five started to head its way. The front one got knocked down by pay day attack. Then Meowth jumped to attack the one on the left with fury swipe attack. The one on the far right was knocked down by pay day. The one next to it was hit with fur swipes, and the last with a pay day attack. The last three took advantage and took Meowth down with a wing attack. Meowth got up, and defeated two of them with a fury swipes attack, and the last with a pay day attack. Brad took the stray cash and kept walking down the valley.

The next obstacle that occurred was horde of Pikachu that looked to battle. A line of ten Pikachu all started to use quick attack on Meowth. Then Meowth started to use fury swipes to knock away the Pikachu one by one. Then the horde of Pikachu used iron tail, and Meowth fought them off with a fury swipes it looked like two knights fighting. Well, Meowth was better than all of the Pikachu because five of them were knocked out. The rest tried to use thunder shock. Then Meowth started to use payday to knock out the rest of the Pikachu.

Then brad finally made it to the bottom of the valley. When he made it to the bottom of the valley, he started to look for the rampaging Onix. He did not see the Onix but remembered that the ad did say that it was stopping people from getting to the next town. So, he started to climb toward that top of the valley. While that was happening, he go attacked by another group of wild Rattata. It was about eight Rattata in the group, and Meowth grabbed the first one with bite, and the second two with fury swipes. Then he used pay day to knock down three of the Rattata. The last two fell to a fury swipes attack. This was enough to make Meowth shimmer and evolve into Persian.

Finally Brad had basically made it to Kirkland basically. Now Kirkland was not a place that many people wanted to go because of the trainers there. All of the trainers seemed to love their Psychic Pokémon and were not afraid to use them to their advantage. In the end brad saw the Onix right before the town of Kirkland. He wondered why somebody on this side of the valley did not take care of this request if it was so close. Never mind that though this Onix was not going to be hurting the trainers of Manji anymore. Brad was going to take the Onix out and finish the task bestowed to him from the Trainer Club in Cabell Town.

Brad had thought ahead. He used his Venasaur to start the battle with the rampaging Onix. The Venasaur hit Onix with razor leaf attack. The Onix shot back with a rock throw attack. Then Onix started to bind Venasaur. It was a tight bind that Venasaur was in. Brad was thinking about what he could do to defeat this Onix. Then Brad yelled "Hey Venasaur use Solar beam attack." The bulb of Venasaur started to glow, but the Onix got his grip even tighter on Venasaur. That is when Venasaur released a beam of light directly at the head of Onix. Onix was unable to battle after that Brad caught the Onix, and sent him to Professor Cypress. He wanted to know what made the Onix go berserk on the trail. Then Brad called Scott in the Trainer Club of Cabell Town. "Hey, I have defeated that Onix that I said I would take care of.' The walk back to Cabell Town would be pretty far. I am headed to Kirkland. I will stay at the trainer Club there. Thanks for everything."
