Chapter 3

Return To Danville Part 1

The gummi ship was surrounded by the seemingly endless void of space as Molly and Libby began their new journey. Neither of them would have guessed that they would be piloting the gummi ship again, but were still excited to see what new worlds they would be visiting.

"The beginning of another adventure! What kind of worlds do you think we would visit this time, Libby?" Molly asked as she piloted the gummi ship.

"We'll know when we get there, Molly! It's just too bad that Chirithy couldn't come with us on our adventure." Libby remembered Chirithy.

"I know. It would have been nice if Chirithy came along with us. Our future friends would have been thrilled to see us with a cat-like spirit!"

"Hey, just because I look like a cat, that doesn't mean I am a cat!" Chirithy's voice echoed through the gummi ship before they suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

The sudden appearance of Chirithy caused Molly and Libby to scream in surprise before they turned to face their spirit friend.

"Chirithy, when did you get here? We thought you stayed at Yen Sid's tower." Libby explained.

"Well, I was going to, but I didn't want to leave you alone on your journey this time. Since I'm a spirit, I can't be seen by anyone we come across on our journey, but I can give you advice if you need it." Chirithy offered.

"Aw, Chirithy! We're happy to have you along with us on our journey!" Molly smiled before bringing her attention to a nearby world. "And speaking of which, it looks like we are now arriving at our first world!"

With the first world in sight, Molly guided Mollibby through space before landing it on the ground of the new world. Molly, Libby, and Chirithy stepped out of the gummi ship before they took a look around. They appeared to be in a town that looked familiar.

"Hey, Molly. Does this world look familiar to you?" Libby asked.

"It does!" Molly took a moment to remember this place before she exclaimed, "Libby, we are back in Danville!"

Seeing this town again brought back memories for Molly and Libby as they thought back to their adventures with Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and Perry. Even though it has been a year since they have last been to Danville, it felt like only yesterday since Molly and Libby had their adventure here.

It was at that moment when Molly and Libby began their walk through town as they searched for any Heartless that might be causing any trouble. They would soon find themselves to be right when they took notice of a Heartless crawling down a nearby street.

"Libby, look!" Molly pointed towards the Heartless.

"It looks like the Heartless are trying to take over Danville again." Libby noticed.

Suddenly, Molly and Libby were startled when they heard screams in the distance. Knowing that the Heartless were attacking someone, Molly and Libby summoned their keyblades before running towards where they heard the screams.

Here, they found three friends surrounded by a swarm of Heartless. They all slowly backed away from the Heartless before a girl with ginger hair, who wore a black shirt, a white jacket, and a pink skirt began to speak.

"Milo, do you have anything in your backpack that would help us get out of this?"

This time, a boy in a pink and brown sweater vest and light brown shorts with pointed brown hair began to speak as he searched through his backpack. "Hmm. That's strange. I don't think I have anything for handling shadow creatures."

It was at that point when the other boy, a boy with black hair, a yellow shirt, and a pair of dark blue jeans began to freak out.

"What?! Why is this the one time you don't have anything that can save us?"

"Well, that's Murphy's Law for you!" The boy named Milo smiled, despite the danger he and his friends were in.

Before the Heartless could attack, Molly and Libby stood between the group of friends and the Heartless. This left the three friends surprised as they all wondered about the key-shaped swords Molly and Libby were carrying.

"Quick, run!" Libby told the group of friends, to which they ran and hid behind some random objects.

Once they were ready, Molly and Libby charged forward only for the two of them to suddenly trip. They slowly recovered from their tumble, wondering what was going on.

"Are you okay, Libby?" Molly asked.

"I think so." Libby replied. "I don't get it. We aren't usually this uncoordinated when fighting the Heartless. Let's try again."

This time, the girls tried swinging their keyblades at the Heartless, but every single one of their swings ended up missing. Since physically attacking the Heartless didn't seem to work, they decided to use magic instead. Molly and Libby surrounded one of the Heartless from both sides and casted a couple of freeze spells at it. Unfortunately, the Heartless simply jumped out of the way, causing Molly and Libby to accidentally cast the spells on each other, freezing them both in a couple of blocks of ice.

Somehow, things just went from bad to worse from there. No matter how hard Molly and Libby tried, neither one of them could land a single hit. While Molly somehow got her keyblade stuck in a nearby brick wall, paper bags ended up hitting Libby in the face.

"Aaah! Why the paper bags?! It's not even Friday the 13th!" Libby screamed as she tried to get the bags off of her.

Molly soon managed to pry her keyblade out of the wall before she joined up with Libby, both of them exhausted.

"Why is it suddenly so hard to fight the Heartless?" Molly panted.

"I know that it has been a year since our last adventure, but are our skills really this rusty?" Libby asked, feeling just as exhausted as Molly.

"Sorry! It's my fault!" The boy named Milo called out behind a nearby mailbox.

Little did Milo know that he was leaning against the mailbox so much, it ended up toppling it over, causing hundreds of letter to scatter in the wind. By some miracle, the letters somehow flew over each of the Heartless' eyes, temporarily blinding them. Seeing their chance, Molly and Libby rushed towards the Heartless and slashed every single one of them, finally defeating them.

Once the Heartless were gone, Milo and his friends stepped out of their hiding spots. With the Heartless now gone, Molly and Libby put away their keyblades before meeting up with Milo and the others.

"Sorry you had to see us like that!" Molly apologized, still embarrassed about what happened.

"Yeah, we usually aren't this bad when fighting the Heartless." Libby explained.

"It wasn't your fault. That was just a result of Murphy's Law." Milo replied. "You see, my name is Milo Murphy, and as a Murphy, anyone who comes in contact with me will deal with the effects of Murphy's Law, meaning that anything that can go wrong will go wrong."

"Really? I guess that would explain a lot." Molly commented. "This Murphy's Law stuff does sound a little complicated though."

"You think that's complicated? Try living with it since elementary school!" The girl stepped forward. "Anyway, I am Melissa, Milo's childhood friend.

"And I'm Zack!" The other boy introduced. "Melissa has known Milo a lot longer than I have, so I'm still not used to this Murphy's Law stuff myself. What are your names?"

"My name is Molly McGee!" Molly introduced.

"And I am her girlfriend, Libby Stein-Torres!" Libby introduced herself. "You wouldn't happen to have seen any more Heartless around her, have you?"

"I hope not! This is the only and hopefully last time I would see those things!" Zack replied, still frightened by his encountered with the Heartless.

Suddenly, a bark can be heard from behind Zack, causing him to scream in fear. He turned around to see that it was only a tiny yellow dog.

"Relax, Zack! It's only Diogee!" Milo kneeled down to speak to his pet dog. "Diogee, what are you doing here, silly dog? You need to go home!" Milo said, to which his dog obeyed and walked back home.

"That might not be a bad idea! Maybe we should head over to Milo's house too so we can figure out what to do about this Heartless situation." Melissa suggested.

The moment Melissa said that, more Heartless began to appear out of nowhere. Since Molly and Libby weren't able to fight back so easily, thanks to the effects of Murphy's Law, they didn't think that fighting was a smart idea this time.

"Okay, heading over to Milo's house sounds like a good idea! Let's run over there instead!" Molly yelled as she and the others sprinted away from the Heartless.

As Molly and her friends ran down the street, the Heartless gave chase with signs and street lamps toppling over. Molly and Libby briefly turned around and were shocked by all of the destruction behind them.

"I have never seen the Heartless cause this much destruction before." Libby panted as she continued to run.

"I don't think it's them. It's just a typical day of living with Murphy's Law." Milo explained.

"So, do you deal with this sort of stuff everyday?" Molly asked, surprised.

"Yeah, you kind of used to it!" Melissa explained.

"Easy for you to say! You have dealt with it longer than I have! Look out!" Zack pointed towards a nearby tree that was about to fall, causing it to roll down the road.

Thinking fast, Molly and the others jumped on the tree, each of them trying to keep their balance as it continued to roll. Once the tree hit a dead end, Molly and her friends were flung into the air before landing at a nearby construction site.

After recovering from the fall, everyone turned around to see that the Heartless were still in pursuit of them. To avoid the Heartless, they all climbed the various platforms of the construction site before Melissa continued the conversation.

"So, how about you two? Have you been fighting the Heartless for awhile?"

"Oh, you have no idea! When we first met them, Molly and I had to fight them off, just so we can finally have our date together!" Libby explained.

"Wow! Talk about dedication!" Zack commented. "You know, you two are not the only ones who have a love life! Milo here has a not so secret crush on this girl named, Amanda!"

In response, Molly gave Milo an excited smile, "Ooh! He does, does he?"

Milo blushed with a nervous smile. "Well, I wouldn't really say it is a crush per say, but-"

Before Milo could say another word, he was taken off guard when the Heartless suddenly appeared in front of him. Molly and Libby got ready to attack the Heartless before it suddenly got hit by a wrecking ball of a malfunctioning vehicle.

With no more Heartless around, Molly and her friends took a moment to relax, only to realize that the wrecking ball was swinging right back at them, destroying the platform they were on. This sent all of them flying towards a nearby billboard sign before it was free of its bolts, causing Molly and others to ride the sign down the road.

"Okay, this is getting a little too intense!" Libby yelled, fearing for her life. "How do you handle all of this without getting a heart attack!"

"Oh, this is just a normal day for us. You should have been there when I fought these pistachio creatures, or when I got abducted by aliens. Don't worry, though! My house is just down the block!" Milo assured. "We just have to figure out how to stop this thing!"

Meanwhile, a delivery man was in the middle of the road, staring at his broken down delivery truck in annoyance.

"Well, just my luck. I have to deliver all these soft fluffy pillows, and my truck broke down today of all days!" the deliver man complained.

Soon, the man heard screaming and he turned around, surprised to see Molly and her friends riding down the road on the giant sign. He then jumped out of the way right before the sign crashed into the truck. As the truck toppled over, countless pillows scattered across the ground, and by some miracle, Molly and her friends all landed safely on each of the pillows.

It was at that moment when everyone slowly got back up as Molly and Libby still tried to process what just happened to them.

"Are you okay, Libby?" Molly asked as she helped her girlfriend back up.

"I am! Thank you, Molly!" Libby smiled before bringing her attention back to Milo and his friends. "So, are we almost there?"

"Actually, my house is right over there!" Milo explained, pointing to his house. "Come on! Let me show you inside!"

With that, Milo led his friends in the house. Since this was Molly and Libby's first time visiting Milo's house, they took a moment to admire how nice and comfortable the house looked.

"Wow! This is a nice place that you have, Milo!" Libby complimented.

"Thanks, Libby! Everyone, make yourselves at home!" Milo replied.

Suddenly, a voice called out from another room, "Is that you, Milo? Just to let you know, you are all out of warm water up here. I can't exactly take a shower with cold water."

Upon hearing the voice, Molly and Libby stared at one another in confusion. They couldn't explain why, but there was something about the voice that sounded familiar to them.

"Sorry, I forgot to mention that my family and I have a houseguest who is currently living with us!" Milo explained. "Oh, there he is right now! Hey, Dr. D!"

Soon, the mysterious houseguest made his way down the stairs in a bathrobe and a pair of slippers, leaving Molly and Libby speechless upon finding out who he was. Memories of their last adventure in Danville started flowing back to them as they were once again face to face with Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz.
