BGM: Field - Day (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)

SPLASH!

Weiss emerged from the water and wrung her hair out as she climbed out. "Alright, here we go." She said as she took off running toward Hyrule Castle. She looked all around Hyrule, seeing various structures that she'd never seen before.

She looked up to see various sky islands scattered around Hyrule, including one gigantic storm cloud that seems to be hovering above Hebra, but if she knew the Rito, she knew they could ride out any blizzard that came their way.

Besides, Teba's a strong Rito chieftain. He can handle anything that comes his way.

She kept running until she felt winded, causing her to stop to catch her breath.

"Hah… hah… I'm not this out of shape, am I?" She wondered to herself. Even when the Calamity was over five years ago, she was still exercising to keep herself in shape despite eating a ton of food. And yet, despite her stamina, Ruby was always the faster runner…

Weiss looked ahead, spotting an encampment just near Castle Town's walls. She raised an eyebrow and decided to get closer… when she noticed a red pointer on her chest.

She looked up to see a Guardian aiming directly at her.

BGM: Guardian (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)

"What the…?!" Weiss exclaimed as she dove out of the way to avoid the laser. "I thought they were all scrapped after the Calamity!"

The Guardian moved toward Weiss, and upon closer inspection, she would see gashes all over the Guardian's body with Gloom seeping out of it as one of its legs didn't even have a claw attached to it, as if the Gloom rebuilt the scrapped Guardians.

Weiss immediately brought out her old wooden shield, ready for the laser. The Guardian charged up as Weiss got ready, and then it faked her out by pretending to fire, which Weiss fell for as she instinctively swung her shield, only to get a laser struck in her chest as she was sent flying.

"Gah!" She cried as she was knocked on her back. She staggered up as the Guardian moved toward her and aimed at her again. She let out a growl and got ready as the Guardian attempted to fake her out before firing, but this time Weiss was prepared and parried the laser, sending it back and blasting apart the Guardian upon impact, sending pieces flying everywhere as it crumbled.

"Ha!" She smirked, but then the gloom rose up and reached for the pieces as it was rebuilt back together, causing her stomach to drop as the Gloom Guardian aimed directly at Weiss. "You gotta be kidding me!"

Weiss prepared her shield… only for the Guardian to grab said shield and yanked it out of her hand, crushing it with its claw and picked her up. "Hnnngh!" She grunted as she was pulled up into the air as the Guardian pulled her close and pulled up two other legs where the claws started to spin around like buzzsaws and inched dangerously close to Weiss, who desperately struggled to get away from it's death grip.

Suddenly, a massive green laser struck the Guardian as it fell apart and released Weiss as she landed on her butt as she looked over to see Penny, now having longer hair and a different outfit, landed on the ground near her.

"Penny…?" Weiss wondered as Penny fired lasers at the gloom, where Weiss heard loud screeching coming from it as another blue laser came over and struck the gloom as well where a Guardian came over and together, they both forced the Gloom to sink back into the ground and leaving the Guardian remains behind.

"That's another one." Penny said.

"You'd think they'd learn their lesson by now."

"Unfortunately not."

Penny turned over toward Weiss. "You okay, trave-" She gasped. "Weiss?!" Her eyes sparkled.

"Hey Penny."

Penny eagerly got into position. "Sal-"

"Uh…?"

"Uuuuu-"

Weiss' eyes widened. "Wait wait wait!"

"TATIOOOOONNNS~!" Penny launched toward Weiss.

"WAIT WAIT WAIT, NO NO!"

THUD!

"OOOOMPH! Ooooowwwww…"

The Guardian sweatdropped.

"Oh Weiss, it's so good to see you again! We were so worried that you and Ruby didn't make it out! You were gone for weeks!"

"Well, I'm glad I'm oka-... WHAT DO YOU MEAN I WAS GONE FOR A FEW WEEKS?!" She yelled in surprise. …Well, better than another century, I suppose.

"You didn't know you were gone for a few weeks?" The Guardian asked.

"Ugh…" Weiss rubbed her head. "Hey Whitley."

"Hey, biological sister of mine."

"No, I wasn't. I woke up from the sky islands."

"Wait, you were up there this whole time?" Penny pointed to the Great Sky Island.

"Yes!"

"That's pecul-... what happened to your arm?!" Penny asked.

"Long story." Weiss sighed.

"Well, we'll get mom and we'll bring her up to speed." Penny said as she picked up Weiss and put her on top of the Guardian.

"So what happened when I was up in the sky?"

"Longer story." Whitley responded. "We set up a settlement called Lookout Landing."

"Lookout Landing?"

"Basically where refugees are currently at during the Upheaval."

"Up…heaval? I guess that has something to do with the castle floating in the sky."

"Indeed." Penny nodded as they took off toward Lookout Landing.

BGM: Lookout Landing (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)

"Coming through." Whitley said as he climbed over the walls of Lookout Landing and walked through the area before stopping, letting Weiss slide off of him.

"Is that…?" A surviving Hylian wondered.

"It is!"

"No way, I thought she was dead…"

"It's a miracle! Hylia listened to my prayers!"

"Sure took her a while though…"

"Weiss!" A voice called out as Weiss turned to see Yang waving her over.

"Yang!" Weiss smiled as Yang ran over, only to see Weiss' new arm.

"Whoa. What happened to you?"

"Long story…" Weiss sighed. "How's Qrow and Raven?"

"Oh, they're fine. We just came over to help out in any way we can. Good thing we did otherwise I would've missed ya."

"Boop boop!" A voice "booped" as Weiss looked down to see Terrako approaching.

"Oh, hey little guy!" Weiss knelt down and patted Terrako on the head. "How are you doing?" She asked.

CRASH!

SMASH!

BANG!

"Huh?" Weiss turned her head toward the source of the noise as a woman came darting out of a building and ran straight toward Weiss before screeching to a halt, panting as she was on her knees.

"Wh-where… hah… hah… have you… hah… hah… been…?!" The woman demanded.

"...Purah?" Weiss wondered.

"Sure… the moment you disappear for a few weeks is when I change myself to look drop dead gorgeous…" Purah took a deep breath, removing her head piece from her face and sighing as she grabbed Weiss' cheeks. "Face looks the same, still scrawny as ever, scars are still there… your arm looks completely new…"

Purah released Weiss. "Alright, spill it. What exactly happened?"

"Well…"

Meanwhile…

"It is quite an interesting device…" A woman mused, looking at the Purah Pad in her hands. "This is… definitely not from this era. That said, I believe there may be a way to get the travel functionality working here."

She looked directly at Ruby who was a bit dismayed by the lack of red in her new outfit. "I'd like to tinker with it a bit. Would it be okay if I borrow it?"

"Yes." Ruby nodded. "Whatever you need. I really appreciate your help."

"Then I'll hold on to it." She said, giving the Purah Pad to a Steward.

"So you really believe my story? That I came from the future?"

"I never doubted you for a moment."

Rauru rubbed his chin. "Mineru, do you know of a way we could help to return Ruby back to her time?"

"I suspect that it was the power of your secret stone that allowed you to travel through time. To put it simply, secret stones amplify the powers their owners possess. I am able to separate my spirit from my body. Rauru can repel or destroy evil with his power of light. And Sonia… she can control time. As for you, I can sense both… light and time powers."

Ruby frowned. "Shoot, I was hoping it'd be speed powers…"

Mineru chuckled. "It would seem, however, that your secret stone is amplifying your time power."

"Time power, huh…"

"Ultimately… the secret stone only amplifies your time power. It doesn't suddenly grant you mastery and control. That's still up to you. That means… if you don't already know how to get yourself home…"

Ruby's eyes widened and looked down in sadness. There's got to be a way to get back to my time… back to Weiss…

"There… are stories about the secret stones and a forbidden act called draconification. To swallow a secret stone is to become an immortal dragon, one blessed with eternal life."

"Really?" Ruby perked up.

"Interesting." Rauru mused. "Another way to reach the future… though not a very quick one. So you think these stories could hint at a solution to our dilemma?"

"Yes." Mineru nodded. "But there is still more to those tales. To become an immortal dragon is to lose oneself. That is why it is forbidden…" She said sadly as Ruby immediately thought about the three dragons in her era.

Oh goodness… Ruby thought to herself.

Mineru turned back to Ruby. "I thought this could lead to a solution… some way to transcend time, but if you have to sacrifice your heart and mind… sacrifice what makes you "you"... I'm sorry, I wish I could help more."

"Ah, back to where we started…" Rauru said, then glancing back at a sad Ruby. "There's still hope! I think the answer… the answer to this problem lies in study and learning more about the nature of your power."

Ruby groaned, recalling how Rhoam treated her during her training.

"Great, more of this…" She grumbled.

"Don't worry, I'm sure Sonia will be happy to help."

Ruby's eyes sparkled at the mention of Sonia. "Really?"

Back in the future…

Resume BGM

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Purah yelled in shock while Weiss was eating a meal. "You mean to tell me you woke up from THERE?!" She pointed toward the Great Sky Island.

Weiss nodded.

"Ooooh… oookay…" Purah rubbed her head. "And you said you heard your wife's voice after Crescent Rose replaced the Master Sword?"

Weiss swallowed her last bite. "Yes."

"Hmm…" Purah folded her arms. "Curious…"

"So what exactly happened when I was gone?"

"Well, let's see… the castle lifted up from the ground and these bony creatures came out and started terrorizing the place, Castle Town got destroyed again, this red substance also appeared that we're calling Gloom is draining the life out of everyone and managed to reanimate the Guardians that we scrapped, the weapons have decayed all over Hyrule and making them useless so we're having to stick things on them in order for them to function properly… anything else you want to know?"

"Tell me more about these bone creatures."

"One sec." Purah took off running and then came back pushing a cage with a Beowolf inside of it, trying to claw and bite its way through. "From the experiments we've been doing with these things, they're called Grimm. They're attracted to negative emotions and they are capable of ripping people to shreds. To make matters worse, it would seem as if the Grimm and the local monsters in the area seem to have formed an alliance. However, the more stronger and powerful beasts don't really seem to care about them, resulting in Turf Wars between Lynels and Grimm, Talus and Grimm and even Hinoxes don't seem to care about these things. Hell, the Stalfos don't like 'em either apparently."

"Oh wow."

"By the way, Gleeoks are roaming Hyrule now and even they don't like Grimm."

"Gleeoks? I thought my dad brought them to extinction!"

"Apparently he missed a few." Purah said. "Either that or the recent blood moon we had decided to bring those bad boys back. And, from what I gathered from this Grimm, they seem to come from the source of the Grimm… the mummy that you encountered. What was her name you said?"

"Salem."

"Salem!" Purah nodded. "She seems to have found a way to create these creatures and are killing any Hylian that are unlucky enough to come their way with less than stellar weapons. So basically… you need to be really careful there."

"I would say I don't need to be careful, but I almost got my head chopped off by a Guardian… so this is going to be wonderful." She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, oh, by the way, you might need to head over to the castle grounds. A search party is looking for you and the missus, so you might want to tell 'em you're okay."

"They're looking for two of us. My wife isn't here with me."

"Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine. Ruby's a tough girl, she can handle herself."

"Except I have Crescent Rose with me." Weiss pointed out.

"Riiiiight… eh, she's smart. She'll figure it out."

"Right. I just hope I'll find her before a Grimm does." Weiss took off running.

"Oh! When you come back, I'll tell you what else is going on in Hyrule!" Purah called out.

"We're gonna be fine, right?" Yang asked.

"Oh, we will. Weiss is here, so things should be looking up! …I hope."

End BGM

Weiss walked into Castle Town, her eyes widening at the wreckage as buildings were destroyed, debris scattered around as blood was spilled everywhere. Bodies were removed, but their blood wasn't.

"Hylia…" Weiss said, her legs giving in and falling over from the devastation. Her hand was over her mouth in horror before steeling herself to get back up. She walked through the remains of the town.

It was bad enough the first go around, but the second time? Where the blood and carnage was still fresh and the smell of a few missed corpses in the rubble? It would be enough to even make the most stoic lose their composure.

She wondered if even the encounter with Link that she met five years ago would make even him horrified.

Weiss closed her eyes, clasping her hands together and offered a silent prayer to the souls who were lost in the massacre. She opened her eyes and kept going, and then spotted a shrine nearby.

She walked over to it, opening it up and walked inside.

Kyononis Shrine - Combat Training

Weiss walked through where she found herself in an arena, where a platform lowered to reveal a Construct.

"This shrine purifies the ancient evil. You who have entered here, heed my instruction. Grimm have spread through all four corners of Hyrule. You will do well to understand what these creatures are capable of."

BGM: Shrine Battle (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)

A shadowy portal opened up as a Beowolf came out, snarling and gnashing its teeth at Weiss. Weiss formed an ice shield and readied her Rusty Broadsword as the Beowolf snarled, stalking Weiss and never letting her out of its sight.

Weiss narrowed her eyes, watching its movement as the Beowolf then charged and pounced on Weiss, swiping at her but she quickly rolled out of the way and countered, slicing through the Beowolf's stomach as blood gushed out.

The Beowolf turned around to face Weiss and lunged, snapping down to try and bite down at her, but Weiss used a glyph to block it before she swooped in and slashed through the neck, cutting through it and spilling blood everywhere.

To her surprise, the Beowolf started to disappear.

"Grimm fade away when they die. It is a unique trait, yet no one knows why they disappear when they are killed."

Another portal opened up, this time three Beowolves came out.

"See if you can handle a pack."

Weiss put away the Rusty Broadsword and took off Crescent Rose from her back, pressing a button as it went into its scythe mode.

"Alright, Ruby showed me a thing or two, so let's see how I do it." She said. …Did she have to make it so top heavy though?

The Beowolves charged at Weiss, two of them flanking her as Weiss shifted her eyes before focusing on the one in front of her, proceeding to swing as hard as she could, but unlike Ruby where she was able to fluidly swing Crescent Rose gracefully, Weiss clumsily swung it in a non-graceful away.

She was able to cut through the Beowolf, but not how she wanted it.

The other two Beowolves lunged at her as Weiss quickly set up glyphs to protect her as they slammed into it while Weiss made clumsy work on the Beowolf with Crescent Rose to the point her wrists were already tired.

"Ugh… how does she do that?" Weiss wondered as she closed it up and strapped it to her back before snapping her fingers as the glyphs lit up and unleashed a fiery inferno to incinerate the two other Beowolves.

Another portal opened up as an Ursa came out and roared at Weiss. She held her Rusty Broadsword up high as she ran straight for the Grimm as the Ursa charged at her and swiped, but Weiss stepped out of the way and slashed it with the Broadsword, but unlike the Beowolves, the Ursa was a little tankier and let out an annoyed growl at Weiss.

Her eyes widened as she jumped back as the Ursa swiped at her, just barely missing her as it slashed at her as she parried with the shield and slashed at the Ursa, but it backhanded the Broadsword to the point the blade snapped off of the hilt.

Weiss grimaced as she threw the hilt at the Ursa's face, which only seemed to agitate it more and attempted to maul her, but she put up a glyph to block it before she pulled out the Boulder Claymore out and then swung down the moment she got rid of the glyph, slamming it down on the Ursa's head to slam it to the ground and dazed the hell out of it.

She swung it again to get the Ursa on its back as she switched to the Stony Axe and swung down into its neck, cutting it wide open and sprayed blood all over Weiss until it vanished. She let out a sigh and snapped her fingers as an orb of water appeared over her head and fell on top of her, washing the blood off of her.

"There are many various Grimm out in Hyrule, but we will only show you the Beowolf and the Ursa for now."

The locked door opened up as Weiss walked over and opened up a chest, pulling out a Zonaite Sword. "Cool." She mused as she put it into her bag and then walked over to collect the Blessing of Light.

End BGM

Weiss walked out, taking a look at the wrecked Castle Town with sadness before turning around and headed off toward the castle grounds, running up the hill as best she could until she got to the first gate.

"I'm telling ya, I don't think Weiss and Princess Ruby are anywhere to be seen. It's been a few weeks."

"Well, keep looking! They have to be down there somewhere."

A soldier looked at Winter with sadness. "Winter… there's nothing else we can do. Weiss and Ruby are-"

"Behind you." Weiss said.

"Behind us."

They both froze as they turned to see Weiss standing there.

"Yo."

"Weiss!" Winter hugged her tightly as a soldier turned around.

"Hey! Tell Raven she doesn't have to go spelunking in that pit anymore!"

"You got it!" Another soldier said as he tugged the rope to signal Raven before she started to climb back up.

"Oh, we were so worried that both of you weren't… wait, what happened to your arm?!"

"Long story." Weiss responded. "Unfortunately, I've lost my wife. You seen her anywhere?"

"No, we thought she was with you."

Weiss frowned. "That's not good…"

"Well, I'm sure we'll find her."

"What in the world?" A soldier wondered as he pointed toward a pillar. "Is that the princess?!"

The Schnees turned around to see Ruby standing on a pillar.

"Ruby!" Weiss called out as Ruby looked up at the sky before levitating from the ground and flew up before disappearing in light.

"She's gone…" Winter said. "Was that…?"

"No. That wasn't her." Weiss said. "I never taught Ruby how to fly or use any magic, let alone teleporting away… that has to be a fake."

"Oh, so now we have fake princesses roaming around Hyrule? It truly is the end of the world…" A soldier groaned as Raven pulled herself up.

"What'd I miss?" Raven asked. "...Weiss?!"

"Hey." Weiss greeted as the two hugged.

"What happened to your arm?"

"Long story… you want it? I prefer my original."

"No thanks. Having a second arm would just feel weird to me at this point."

"Well, I guess we can cancel the search… though finding Ruby is still a high priority." A soldier said. "By the way, Weiss… have you seen the weapons lately? Apparently the Gloom-"

"-Has decayed all of the weapons throughout Hyrule. Purah told me that." Weiss nodded.

"Ah, okay. Just checking."

"By the way." Raven pulled out the Hylian Shield from her back. "I found this in the cavern down below. Figured you could use this."

"Oh, thank you!" Weiss smiled as she took the Hylian Shield with her. "Let's head back."

Back at Lookout Landing…

BGM: Lookout Landing

"Huh, so that wasn't Ruby you saw?" Purah wondered as they had gotten back. "I've had chats with Ruby for the past five years of catching up and not once has she said anything about how she now learned how to fly. Either it slipped her mind or we're dealing with a doppelganger here."

"Well, it can't be the Yiga clan. They're all idiots." Weiss said.

"Indeed."

Suddenly, the door to the shelter opened up as Kohga climbed out. "Hey, have you guys found the lovebirds yet? Zwei and Revali are- AUDIBLE GASP! Weiss!" Kohga immediately glomped her.

"OOOOMPH!"

"Weiss, you sight for sore snowflakes! You're alive! You're aliiiiiive! …Where's the missus?"

"Nowhere to be found. Do you know where she is?"

"Not a clue! By the way, you got some family members who are lookin' for ya." Kohga said as Qrow climbed up the ladder, holding Zwei.

"Sheesh, have you gained a little weight…?" Qrow wondered and then saw Weiss. "Well, I'll be damned."

"Woof!" Zwei barked happily as he went over and happily tackled Weiss.

"Hey boy! Good to see you!" Weiss smiled, scratching him behind the ears as they heard a screech as Revali dropped down and nuzzled Weiss's arm. "Hey bud. Good to see you too.

"By the way, what happened to your arm?" Kohga wondered.

"Long story."

"Come on, it can't be that bad."

One explanation later…

"Whoooooa!" Kohga said. "You woke up with a new arm after all that happened with this mummy lady? …Raven should've gone with ya, she could use a new arm after all these years."

"Kohga. If that were to happen, I would be mutilating you with three swords instead of two. Do you really want to experience a three way mutilation?" Raven asked.

Kohga sweatdropped. "Yeesh, tough crowd…"

"I thought so."

"Lady Purah!" A young Sheikah approached. "The Skyview Tower is ready for testing!"

"Awesome. Thank you Jasha." Purah said. "Weiss, come with me for a sec."

"Okay." Weiss nodded as they walked over to the Skyview Tower.

"So this is the Skyview Tower. We managed to make these all over Hyrule during your absence."

"Within a few weeks?"

"You'd be surprised how much time I have on my hands." Purah chuckled. "Anyway, we don't have a proper test subject for these things since… well, our last few guinea pigs didn't pan out as well as we'd hoped… which brings us to… you. By the way, you're gonna need this." She said, handing her the Paraglider.

"...Purah, what are you talking about?"

"Just stand in that circle." Purah requested as Weiss walked in as the Sheikah scientist fiddled with the controls and then smiled. "Alright, commencing test!" She said as suddenly, robotic Guardian-like arms came out and started to grab a hold of Weiss, pulling in a connecter cable for her Purah Pad and then attached it to her hip.

"What… is all this?"

"So, you ready to launch? All you gotta do is scan the surounding area for the topography of the map!"

"Huh?!"

"Commencing launch in three, two-"

"What do you mean by-"

"ONE!" Purah hit the button as the launch pad shot Weiss through the tower.

"LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!" She screamed as she shot up in the air like a rocket high into the air until she was around at the same height as the floating islands in the sky.

"Whoa… this… actually isn't so bad…" Weiss said as she looked around before pulling out her Purah pad and scanned the area around her, providing data for the area she was in. "Got it." She said… and then she started to fall. "Waaaaaaaaaaaah!"

Down below, Kohga and a few Yiga Soldiers had pulled out a parachute and was in position.

"A little more to the right!" Kohga said.

"My right or your right?" A Yiga wondered.

"He clearly means your right! …I think." A Blademaster said.

Weiss dove toward the ground before deploying the paraglider as she gently descended right behind the Yiga.

"...Oh. We were off by a few feet." Kohga said.

"Rrrrgh!" Weiss marched straight for Purah.

"So, how was it~?" Purah smiled as Weiss grabbed a hold of Purah's shoulders and started to shake her. "Waaaaaaaah!"

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?! WHAT IF YOU DIDN'T GIVE ME THAT PARAGLIDER?!"

"Aaaaaah! You have your dragon wiiiiiings!"

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT! YOU COULD'VE KILLED ME IF I DIDN'T HAVE DRAGON POWERS!"

"Pennnnnyyyyy would have caught yooooou!"

Weiss sighed, releasing Purah. "Whatever… I got you the data you were looking for… wait a second, what happened to the other test subjects? They didn't go… splat, did they?"

"Of course not!" Purah shook it off. "They're fine, they just got severe PTSD after Penny caught them after the Paraglider didn't work out for them. They'll get over it."

Weiss facepalmed. Urge to smack you RISING…

"Now then, before I give you back the Purah Pad… do you have anything fancy in that arm of yours?"

"Yeah, I can lift anything up, fuse things together, go through ceilings, rewind time for certain things-"

"Oh cool." Purah looked through the Purah Pad. "Delete the Magnesis Rune… Rauru, you made my beautiful Magnesis Rune obsolete, you asshole." She mumbled the last part quietly.

"What was that?"

"Nothing~!" Purah smiled. "You still got the Remote Bomb, Stasis and Cryonis runes, so you got that to work with. Oh, and the summon rune is still here, but thanks to your Champion pals heading to the afterlife, I had to redo the whole thing from scratch when I redesigned the Sheikah Slate into the Purah Pad."

The Purah Pad let out a notification as they looked to see what had updated.

Master Cycle Zero

"Oh! That reminds me, your Master Cycle! I've done some upgrades on it while you were gone." Purah said as Weiss pressed it to summon the Master Cycle. "Press this button on the dashboard."

"This one?" Weiss asked as she did so, where they heard an alarm as her wheels went side ways and started to gently lift the bike off the ground. "Whoa!"

"With that, you can drive up pesky cliff sides and other terrain that you can dream up. I call it… Anti-Gravity."

"Whoa…"

"And, you're not the only one with a paraglider." She smiled as she pressed a button as a Triforce parasail came out of the back side of the Master Cycle. "Now this too can glide~!"

"Oh, that's amazing!" Weiss smiled as she turned it back to normal.

"Alright, now let's talk shop real quick." Purah said. "All four corners of Hyrule have their own issues that they're dealing with. Hebra is experiencing a perpetual snowstorm to the point that their running out of food to eat-"

"What?!" Weiss's eyes widened in horror.

"Death Mountain is experiencing some kind of weird thing going on with their food supply. It's making the Gorons act weird. In fact, Yunobo's acting differently too. Zora's Fountain is experiencing sludge that is poisoning the water supply, Lurelin Village is taken over by Grimm. Everyone who lives there were safely evacuated and the Belladonnas are currently out hunting for food out yonder to bring to us. Kakariko's got some weird floating rocks that are threatening to fall on top of them, and there's a dense creepy fog all over Gerudo Desert."

"What about my home?"

"Ah right… Hateno's experiencing the worst kind of disaster known to Hylian kind: Politics."

Weiss gave her a deadpanned expression. "Poltiics? Really?"

"Something about an election for the new mayor or whatever."

"Oh, for the love of… they're all grown ups. I don't need to get involved with that baggage."

"Good idea. It'll drain the life out of ya anyway. Trust me, I went there to see what the fuss was about and I wish I didn't."

"They're adults. They can handle it." Weiss said, pressing a button as the side car came out as Zwei hopped inside with Revali hopping in with him.

"Are you sure you'll be fine by yourself? It's a whole different world out there." Winter said.

"I'll be okay." Weiss reassured. "I'm going to get to the bottom of all of this and find Ruby."

"Good luck, Weiss! We'll hold down the fort!" Purah said as Weiss drove off. "You're gonna need it."

Weiss drove straight for the Hebra region. "Hang on, guys. I'll get you out of that blizzard."

Meanwhile, in the past…

Salem clapped her hands, unleashing dark magic on some bones in front of her, chanting some words before a dark magic wrapped around the bones as they started to reanimate as a dark void wrapped around the bones until they formed into a Beowolf.

"Beautiful." The blonde, fair skinned woman smiled.

"Salem… I'm starting to get a bit concerned over this." Ganondorf said.

"Why? Just think, we could use this against the Zonai that you despise so much. The technology that they bring with them is a stain on Hyrule and you wish to bring Hyrule back to its roots."

"While that is true, I'm also a man who can be reasonable." Ganondorf said. "True, the technology is a bit much for the land of Hyrule, but… perhaps if we use it ourselves, it won't be as bad as we claim it as such."

"But the Zonai-"

"I know, but perhaps the Zonai aren't as bad as we think." Ganondorf responded. "This dark magic that you discovered… I'm not a big fan of it. You might want to put a lid on it before it gets out of hand."

Ganondorf walked away, leaving Salem by herself. "And get rid of that scorpion you like so much. Scorpions aren't meant to be pets."

"Mmmph…" Salem pouted a bit as she pulled the scorpion out of her pocket. "Don't listen to him, Mr. Scorpion. He just doesn't know your true potential alongside these creatures I've created. …Grimm. That's a good name for it. Do you agree, Mr. Scorpion?"

The Scorpion crawled up her arm and onto her shoulder.

"I think so too. Hmm… ya know, I should give you a name. How about… Tyrian?"

And so, another grand adventure begins!
