Chapter 80 The Next Step

Haru was at the airship still trying to get to the other side. The others were in other parts while they waited.
But then a force of darkness making them all stop making everyone surprised as the airship was sent down.
The pilot managed to land it but it will take time to fix it.
They were outside and Jaune said: "Well this is not good."
"Well we'll have to look around for anything." Haru said.
"Yes. He's right." Weiss said.
"Okay." Ren said.
"Let's go!" Nora said.
They all went forward together and they saw a Geist appear surprising them possessing stones.
"It's a geist!" Pyrrah said.
"We need to stop it." Haru said.
Everyone went around it and fought against the creature, Ruby and Weiss attacked with Pyrrah slashing it with her sword with Blake backing her up.
Yang and Nora attacked with many powerful hits as Ren shoots it with Jaune attacking it from behind.
Haru jumps to the sides and shoots it with his gun while using his spear to stab at it. The giest turns around to attack but then something slashes the Grimm in half.
It then explodes surprising everyone.
"Who did that?!" Weiss said.
"It wasn't me!" Yang said.
"Me neither!" Ruby said.
The smoke clears as the Orichalcos soldier appeared roaring.
"What?!" Haru was shocked.
"What is that thing?!" Ruby said.
"I never seen anything like that." Pyrrha said.
"Oh man!" Jaune said.
It slashes at them making them dodge as Haru uses his driver.
DRIVER ON!
His belt changes and he flips the switch.
SHABADOOBI TOUCH TO HENSHIN! SHABADOOBI TOUCH TO HENSHIN!
"Henshin!" He uses a ring.
FLAME, PLEASE HI-HI, HI-HI-HI!
He transforms into Wizard.
"I gotta stop this thing!" he charges at it with wizardswordgun in sword mode.
He slashes at it making the soldier clash with him as the two traded blows.
Ruby attacks but her scythe did nothing. "Huh?!"
It turns around and slaps her to the side.
"Ruby!" Wizard said.
Yang got mad and punches at the monster. "Take this!"
She throws many punches but to her shock he didn't flinch. The soldier then smacks Yang down.
"Yang!" Blake said.
Everyone attacked it with Nora striking with the hammer with many slashing at the soldier. But then it roars hitting them all back like it was nothing.
"What is this thing?!" Weiss got scared.
It raises it's sword and brings it down.
DEFEND, PLEASE!
Wizard appeared in front of them and blocked the strike with a flame shield.
"We can't let it get to us." Wizard said.
He didn't want his friends to face this thing. But now it came back so he had no choice but to face it himself.
"I'm stronger than last time." he uses another ring.
RING OF DESTRUCTION, PLEASE!
A ring appeared on it's neck making it grunt.
"Is that a bomb?!" Weiss said.
"Run!" He takes the girls with Ren and Jaune saving they're teammates.
The bomb went off destroying the soldier. The others were hiding behind rocks for cover.
"Okay, next time warn us." Blake said.
"Sorry." He said.
"But... What was that thing?!" Weiss said.
"Yeah, it was no Grimm that I ever read about." Jaune said.
"It looked freaky." Nora said.
"It was something I fought back at Berry's world. I explained it before. But to think one was to come back." He frowns.
"But damn that thing was stronger and you had to face it." Yang said.
"It took Yang's hits like they were nothing." Blake said.
"Yeah, I had a lot of training done just to beat one alone." Wizard said.
"Well, at least it's gone." Jaune said.
"Even so, if that soldier came. I'm afraid they're master is able to summon them here." Wizard frowns.
They then saw a man come up to them. "Are you the ones that stopped the Geist?"
"Well we killed the one that killed it. And that one was worse." Wizard said.
"Still, we thank you as that was terrorizing our village." He said.
He shakes Wizard's hand.
"Your welcome." Wizard said.
"Allow me to take you there, as we must thank you for your efforts." The mayor said.
"Right," Yang said as she rubs her arm in pain.
The others nodded as they felt useless against that thing when Haru had to do most of the work to even take it down.
Wizard looks at them and felt bad since they couldn't even harm it, but that was to be expected since most are not even trained like how he was to fight against them.
'They did they're best, but that thing was in a different level than any Grimm, I managed to beat it thanks to the spells I learned back at Mana's world.'
The mayor leads them all back to his village with the pilor still fixing the airship for the group. They'll rest for now at the village since they are going to need it after the beating they just got this time.
Wizard thinks of anything he can do to help them, if they can't get stronger, they'll get hurt later on and he doesn't want his friends to suffer when Dartz come as that's now the biggest threat to face now.
'I know your coming Dartz, you'll send more sooner or later, but i'll be there to face you and beat you once again.'
Note: The village scene is starting with the geist being killed by that Soldier as the hunters got beaten easily since remember the Orichalcos soldiers gave Haru trouble before and that was a much stronger version, even with a time skip it wouldn't have done much to help, so Haru will have to help them in another way.
