Again, despite Esteban and Paul's objections, Trebon went to rescue his children. He went to the zoo, which was really a park because there are some Salacians who like observing Drylanders in daily life, or because Trebon didn't have the time to read the sign and just assumed it was such.

Angelina, Liam and Mauricio were chilling in the park that afternoon when they were confronted by Trebon. "Where are my children? Where have you taken my children?" he asked.

"Dude, chill," replied Angelina.

"Take me to them now!"

"I said chill!"

"No… Who the hell are you?"

"I'm Angelina Mouseling, but everyone calls me Angelina Ballerina."

"You rat fuck, you better not be bullshitting me!"

"You'd better not be pointing fingers here."

"Take me to my children!"

"Then stop pointing."

"I said take me to my children!"

"If you want to see your children, then you'll have to get past me first!"

"Pass through what? A furry rat cunt?"

"Go!" Angelina gestured at Liam.

Liam kicked at Trebon which caught him unawares, then he flipped off the rock he was standing on as the two engaged each other in battle. Even with their swords, Liam was no match for Trebon as the latter knocked the former's sword away before sending him flying with a "串! 串! 香!", hitting him on each side before kicking him back.

"Get up! Where're my children?!" As Trebon went towards Liam, he was attacked from behind by Mauricio, but Trebon managed to fight back and put him in a headlock. Trebon went to pick Liam up, saying "Get up! Get up! Get up!" as he went. Angelina was watching all of this and decided to make a tactical retreat. As Trebon dragged Liam and Mauricio away, he yelled out to a fleeing Angelina, "Come back! Come back! Come back!"

Elsewhere in the park, Trebon had Liam and Mauricio squat down as he made a video for Parker. "Having fun, Society's Kongming? Your friends are in my hands now. You see how they are?" Trebon was showing the wounds on Liam and Mauricio's arms to the camera. "You see? Is this what you did to my children? Their clothes, their backs… if you don't want to see them hurt then you'd better trade my children in for them!"

Meanwhile, Angelina made her way back to Parker at his hideout and reported to him what happened. Soon, the two of them saw Trebon's video and Parker decided to make a response video. "King Trebon, your business is with me. I want you to let Liam Pitara and Mauricio Hernandez go. Wait for me, guys!"

Parker headed for the exit. Angelina tried to stop him by holding onto his arm, but Parker was moving so much that he fell to the ground in the struggle and was practically crawling towards the exit. Angelina was trying to pull Parker back up but to no avail. "Parker, you can't go! He won't be alone! Please, just stop!"

"But he's got my friends! He's got my friends!"

"We're outnumbered! What are you going to do?"

"Those are my friends! He's got my friends!"

"We're outnumbered! Please, we'll think of something!"

Soon after, Parker and Angelina frantically searched the park for Liam and Mauricio. Parker was filming with his phone on a selfie stick as a song played where they passed. "南山野花開滿坡," the lyrics went.

"Where are they?! Where are they?! Let go of Liam and Mauricio! Let go of my friends! King Trebon, I'm not done with you yet! Hey, where the fuck are they? Why the fuck are you wearing sunnies right now? Did you find them?" Parker turned to Angelina as they stopped in the middle of a path, Parker frantically interrogating Angelina with the selfie stick in his hand.

"Where'd they go?" replied Angelina, taking off her sunglasses.

"Dude, I'm asking you, were they here? Were my friends here? Where are my friends?!"

"How the hell'm I s'posed t'know?" Angelina replied frantically.

"You were with them earlier, do you know where they went?"

"I dunno!"

"Ahh, goddamn it! I'm not done with you, Trebon, just you wait for me! Just you wait~!"

Trebon had brought Liam and Mauricio back to the Shark Palace through Mirror World and placed them in a room, having them stand against a wall as he began to film his next video. Liam and Mauricio were able to breathe underwater thanks to the same technology allowing fish to breathe on land, otherwise they would have drowned by now.

"Alright, heads up, look alive!" Mauricio put his head up but Liam didn't. "I said heads up!" Liam complied as Trebon turned to Mauricio. "Did I say you could put your head up? Put it down! Right, now clap out a beat for me. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8…"

Trebon turned back to Liam. "Weren't you good at doing flips? Do a handstand on the table. Do it! On the count of three or I'll slap you right in the face. Handstand for me. 3, 2, 1." Liam tried to do a handstand on the table, but the table moved back and Liam ended up lying in tears on the table, posterior suspended in midair as his legs went up against the wall. "Say 'I love you, Daddy Trebon'."

Liam said through the tears, "I love you, Daddy Trebon!"

"Right, now give me a kiss." Liam wasn't made to actually kiss Trebon, but an air kiss was good enough for him. "Do you love me?"

"I love you!"

The next morning, Trebon posted another video from that same room. "Alright, Society's Kongming, if you won't let my children go, then I won't take it easy on your friends. I didn't get my reputation in Salacia by being easy on anyone." He then went over to Mauricio. "Tell me, how long have you been standing there?"

Mauricio was standing against the wall with a kettle on his head. "A few hours."

"I'm warning you, if that kettle falls off, I'm slapping you upside the head." Trebon turned his attention back to the camera. "And what about your other friend, Liam?" He opened a cabinet at the bottom of some shelves to reveal Liam curled up inside, slapping the shelf above him to make sure he was awake. "Tell me, where did you sleep last night?"

"In here," Liam replied.

Trebon closed the cabinet back up. "Give my children back now, or else."

Soon after, Parker filmed himself video calling Trebon, with Liam and Mauricio behind him. "King Trebon, I'm asking you, give me my friends back! Give me Liam and Mauricio back!"

Trebon replied, "Then I'm asking you too, give back Tubarina and Marcello or I'll take care of those two for you!"

He then began hitting Liam and Mauricio. Seeing this, Parker said, "Don't touch them! Don't you dare touch them! If I see anything wrong with those two I'll never forgive you for it! Stop hitting them!"

"Give me my children back now."

"We'll meet at Gonzaga Beach and I'll wait for you there! Pick a time and bring my friends!"

"I'll meet you there! Bring my children! Trade them to me and I'll give you your friends back!"

The rest of the video was Trebon continuing to hit Liam and Mauricio while Parker wailed at the camera, telling Trebon to give him his friends back while Trebon told Parker to give him his children back.

Parker and Angelina had no choice but to head back to their base in Santos. They took Tubarina and Marcello back with them and placed them in the holding cell next to the one holding Isa's uncle, Prince Wagan. Little did they know, however, that it made Paul's covert plans easier to action, as Maya saw Tubarina and Marcello from a distance.

Upon returning to the base, Parker called the rest of his generals in for an urgent meeting. "Gather up all our allies. We launch a full-scale invasion of Salacia tomorrow."

"But Parker, what about Liam and Mauricio?" asked Angelina.

"It'll also be a rescue mission as well, and you're in charge of that. Consider it your punishment."

Inside the holding cell, Tubarina and Marcello sat down and talked to pass the time. Marcello had spotted the girl who resembled Marcela among Parker's troops and told Tubarina about her.

"But how can you be so sure that's Marcela?" questioned Tubarina. "I've seen quite a few Drylanders who have the same colour hair as hers. Hell, I saw two other soldiers here who do!"

Marcello responded, "I just know, alright? I wish there was a way to prove that it's her."

Tubarina thought for a moment. "If that girl really is Salacian, then she should be able to breathe underwater without equipment. Oh wait, the technology we use to let fish breathe on Dryland lets Drylanders breathe underwater as well."

Marcello was disappointed. "If only there was another way to prove it. I heard the Drylanders outside saying that they were about to invade Salacia. If only we could be there to see the proof for ourselves."

Tubarina realised something. "You know, Marcello, we don't have to be there to witness the proof. It'll become obvious when everyone sees it."

"What do you mean?"

"A decade ago, there was another girl who could make the barracuda happy, and you know how they normally are. Legend says that when the Barracuda Palace was destroyed in a seaquake, the royal family fled to Dryland and the Barracuda Princess married a Drylander. The girls and I thought that she might be a descendant of the Barracuda Royal Family and that's why the barracuda were happy around her."

"So the hammerhead sharks should recognise Marcela as their princess! Wait, I don't know about that. How do you know they'll recognise her? They wouldn't recognise me when all that stuff with Snick and his family happened!"

"But we helped them by dressing you up as your father! And remember the time the hammerheads gathered at the Coral Caves and you were afraid to talk to them? You were only just learning how to be a prince back then. Anyway, I'm sure those hammerhead sharks are smarter than you think and I'm sure Uncle Macnus and Aunt Molly would love to see their daughter again."

"Yeah… if only it didn't come at the cost of their son."

"Hey, don't say that, Marcello. We'll get out of this together. Have a little rest for now." For the time being, Marcello and Tubarina kept talking about other things, including the latter's plans with Polvina and Ester to gather an army against the Shark King. This was probably the closest they had been in a while because the two of them had so much going on in their lives.

After Esteban and Paul left the Shark King's side, they went back to Salacia. As they continued following the saga, the two of them agreed that the Shark King had gone too far this time and decided to rebel against him. Esteban and Paul had been aware of what Seretao and his group were doing and how Polvina, Ester and Tubarina were helping them, though they wouldn't go through with joining them until Tubarina and Marcello had been rescued and Liam and Mauricio were released as well.

Speaking of Liam and Mauricio, Polvina and Ester seemed to recognise the room they were being kept in in the video. Seretao was in the same boat as well as he videocalled Polvina from a storage unit in the metropolis. "Did you see the Shark King's latest videos, Polvina?"

"Yeah, Ester and I did- wait, what's that? Ester, do you see that?"

Ester looked in the background of the call where Polvina was pointing on her phone. "It's the portrait of the Shark King from when he was young!"

"Exactly," said Seretao. "A couple months ago, the Shark King had me clear out some stuff from a room on the top floor of the Shark Palace. It took me a while to clean and move everything because everything in there looked like it hadn't been touched in years."

Polvina gradually began to realise what Seretao was telling her. "That means the Drylander hostages the Shark King took are in the secret room of the Shark Palace! They're in the Shark King's old playroom!"

A decade ago, when Tubarina was filling in for the Shark King and Queen during their absence, the girls planned to see what was in the secret room but Tubarina, having let the power go to her own head, prevented them from doing so. It took some convincing, but the girls eventually got to take a look inside and they saw a playroom where the Shark King kept his old toys, to remind himself that he was once a child and that he shouldn't get too serious about himself. From that, Polvina and Ester were able to convince Tubarina to have fun and not be so serious as well. But oh, how the tables have turned.

"So, should we get those two out?" asked Ester.

Seretao replied, "No. If the Shark King knows you're going against him, he'll turn on both your kingdoms. Miss Marla's getting people to take care of those two Drylanders. Your fathers are already working to get Tubarina and Marcello out. Don't make it worse."

Polvina noticed something else in the background. "Hey, what's that? Behind you, Seretao."

Seretao turned around to see photos of the young Shark King with the other kings and queens when they were princes and princesses. Of note was a photo of the young Shark King and Queen and a group photo of the Octopus, Starfish and Shark royals. "Polvina, you've just given me what I need to finally talk down the Shark King."

"But the Shark King won't be convinced to stop the war so easily."

"I know. That's why it's important that we gather as many royals as we can before we turn against the Shark King. You two keep convincing everyone. Leave everything else to us."
