Chapter 20: Romance on the High Seas

Dreams can come true! After so many setbacks and a lot of cooperation and togetherness, Goby and Deema became husband and wife after a beautiful surprise event planned by their loved ones. A new chapter of their lives had begun. And to start it off in a special way, they both went on their honeymoon. The couple used some of the resources they had to plan their first trip as a married couple. It should be noted that they received help and recommendations from friends and family until they made the decision to have a common and comfortable honeymoon (economically speaking). This would be: A cruise trip!

It was a beautiful sunny day. This time, we can see our protagonists a little away from BubbleTucky. They were at the beach. Although, to be precise, they were in the port. It looked like they were going to have a good trip across the sea. There were some people who were entering the cruise ship that was waiting at the dock. The newly married couple were walking towards the entrance.

"Hey Deema...Did you really have to bring so much luggage? We're only going to be on the cruise for a few days" Goby asked. He was carrying his suitcase and even some of his wife's.

"Hehehe sorry. It is difficult to choose the best clothes. I chose the ones I liked the most" Deema said excitedly.

"And that's why you brought your entire wardrobe?" He asked funnily.

"Mmmm I would rather say half wardrobe" The blonde guppy admitted funnily. The couple laughed at the comment. Afterwards, they handed over their tickets and welcomed them to the Cruise of Maritime Dreams

The cruise ship was huge and quite eye-catching. With many activities to do during the three days that the couple was going to enjoy. That place had a water park, swimming pools, jacuzzis, restaurants, spa, theater, casino, even a cinema! Definitely, to try everything, it was necessary to distribute the time well during those three days. And the couple's first move was to get to their room indicated on the ticket. When they entered the room, they were surprised to see an excellent room for the couple. A spacious and very comfortable double bed. A shelf where they could store their clothes. A flat screen to see whatever they wanted. A bathroom with a shower and not to mention that the room had air conditioning.

"Wow! This is won-der-ful!" Deema said happily.

"Yup. I'm glad I was able to take advantage of these discounted tickets. It really was a great offer. I'm sorry we can't go somewhere more exotic" Goby commented, a bit sad.

"Hey! A honeymoon with the love of my life is all I asked for. It doesn't matter the place, but who I am with today. Furthermore, this cruise ship is also very striking" The blonde guppy answered with a smile. She quickly went to the bathroom to change her clothes "I'm excited! Where will we go first? I know! Let's go to the pool and water park!"

"Hehehe yes of course. I'm going to change here" The boy commented. The only thing he did was put on black shorts with a purple summer shirt without fastening the buttons, showing his pectoral and formed abdomen.

"Are you ready?" Deema appeared in front of him in a beautiful summer dress with black and white patterns. Plus she wore a big sun hat and sunglasses.

"Always ready, dear" Goby greeted her with a smile and they both took some things and went directly to the pool. They both admired the beauty of the landscape. A large pool in the middle of a cruise ship that was at sea. This gave a very beautiful image of the place.

"Ohhh I'm excited to get in the pool now!" Deema said excitedly. Before running towards the pool, she braked "Wait! I must take care of my perfect skin. Goby, can you help me?" Deema asked her husband. She, in a slightly flirtatious manner, opened her dress and let it fall slowly while she turned her back to him. She revealed that under that dress she had her beautiful yellow two-piece bikini with orange dots. It is worth mentioning that she is the guppy with the greatest physical development (well, she had a considerable chest size and her silhouette was a little more marked without being anything indecent)

"(gulp) I…I´m on it" Goby blushed brightly and decided to look for the sunscreen and decided to apply it to his wife's body. He began to massage her neck, shoulders and back lightly, so that the sunscreen spread correctly.

"Hmmm….It feels good...Such soft hands, Goby...How do you do it?" Deema breathed a sigh of relief and some pleasure.

"I didn't tell you but...In my time at university, we all have to take elective courses to advance in our careers. One of the courses I chose was a basic physiotherapy course. There I discovered that I have talent with my hands that I didn't know" Goby responded while doing some massages to finish spreading the sunscreen.

"Oh yeah….You do it very well. I want to know what else you can do with those hands" Deema winked at him.

"I…uhhh…." Gobi didn't know what to answer, as he blushed slightly when he heard that comment. She just giggled.

"Hahaha! Come on! I want to swim now!" She quickly changed the subject and ran to the pool where she jumped in "Cannonball!"

"She really is so unpredictable...(sigh) How I love her" Goby spoke to himself. He smiled when he saw the girl swimming around the pool super excited. She was the hyperactive guppy he always knew and loved. No matter her age or her important position, she never stopped being that nice and fun guppy. He was grateful that he had chosen her as his wife and that it was reciprocated.

"What are you waiting for, Goby?! Get in the water! It's very fresh!" Deema called him.

"Here I go" Goby simply took off his shirt to reveal his well-worked pecs. Well, despite working in an office, he sometimes helped construction workers with complicated tasks. He adds that he regularly went to the gym. He was simply looking for a healthy body and the results did not go unnoticed by his wife. He simply jumped into the water and swam quickly towards his girl.

"Very good! You should become an Olympic swimmer" She flattered him.

"Hehe, not a bad idea. But I like many types of sports. I couldn't dedicate myself exclusively to just one sport" He said funnily.

"Well….Let's see if you are a good swimmer. I challenge you to a swimming race. End to end round trip" She smirked at him.

"Are you sure?" The dark-skinned guppy raised his eyebrow funnily.

"Hey! Do not underestimate me. I'm not as physically talented as Molly, Oona, or even Zooli, but I've been working out lately" Deema challenged him.

"I have never looked down on you...This will be interesting" The boy said, very intrigued by a competition against his wife. They both went to one end of the pool and without thinking much, they both began their friendly swimming race. They both started swimming with all their might. Obviously, Goby was in greater physical condition to endure the route. However, he surprised her that she was going faster than she expected. Despite that, the result ended up being in Goby's favor.

"It seems that I have won" The newest husband said proudly "But I must admit that it was difficult for me to win you over. Where did you improve your physical condition so much?"

"Oh yeah…I haven't told you. I decided to start training a little. Swimming and gymnastics. It helps me improve concentration and release stress...Also, since what happened with the Sinister Guppies and with Trevor...I thought that I should at least strengthen my body. I was thinking about asking Oona to train me, just like Molly did before" Deema admitted her secret activity and thought about it.

"You know? You really impressed me. I don't think it's necessary for you to learn how to fight. However, I think it is important to be prepared for everything. I could help you if you want. At university I learned the basics of boxing. I could give you private classes" He explained.

"Oh! Could you really teach me?" The blonde asked curiously.

"Maybe. I can only teach you the basics. But something is better than nothing" Her husband replied.

"Hehehe…Thanks" Deema said with a sincere smile. At the moment, the couple just wanted to enjoy their moment in the pool.

For the rest of the day, they decided to have lunch together and enjoyed unique dishes. Because on that cruise there were restaurants with traditional foods from different countries. So they chose the food that seemed tastiest to them. In addition to making the most of the water park. At sunset, they decided to visit the bow of the cruise ship to watch the sunset together. The radiant sun caused an orange sky in the middle of the ocean.

"This is beautiful. We can see how the sun sets in the sea" The new wife commented funnily.

"Yeah, seeing the sunset from here is simply beautiful" Goby said quietly.

"Goby, come with me" The girl took him by the hand and led him closer to the bow of the cruise ship.

"Whoaa…What are you doing? Don't you think we are very close to the bow?" Goby asked her while she was dragging him.

"Look" Deema stood at the tip of the bow. She extended her arms to feel the sea breeze. Goby understood her idea and decided to play along. He approached and placed his hands on her wife's waist to support her "Hehe I´m the queen of the World!" Deema screamed in happiness as she laughed a little while her partner held her. It was obvious the reference she wanted to try. They both finally finished the pose and started to go somewhere else.

"I was very romantic! I felt like we were on the Titanic, the ship of dreams" Deema said excitedly.

"Hehehe yeah….Can we ignore the part where the boy dies?" Goby laughed nervously, remembering the outcome of that story.

"Of course we WILL skip that part. Especially because it's our honeymoon trip" She commented funnily.

Night came and our dear couple decided to take advantage of that time for quieter activities like a stay at the spa. Deema loved that moment and it was one of her favorites because of the relaxation caused by the expert masseuses. Goby also enjoyed his spa session. It seems that the massage released a lot of accumulated stress caused by work and other responsibilities. Interestingly, Deema suggested taking advantage of a mud therapy session (a light mud bath for skin care). Goby accepted even though it was something he never thought he would use. They both had their bodies covered in that special mud and covered their eyes with cucumber slices, just like you would imagine from a spa.

The couple left that session very relaxed and feeling comfortable with this treatment of their skin. For dinner time, they ordered from different restaurants to try something new and boy did it turn out well. Finally, Deema wanted to participate in karaoke. So they both decided to go into one of the places on the cruise where they sang karaoke. At first, the blonde girl was encouraged to sing a couple of songs in front of the audience. Among those songs, Deema gave an excellent demonstration singing "Bad Romance", something that earned the audience's applause and praise. Goby only thought about letting his wife enjoy that moment. However, he didn't expect her to do something impressive.

"And to finish, I want to sing a song...with the love of my life. He and I recently got married and we are on our honeymoon...And I want to share this comment with him. So...come on in, Goby!" She called him very excited.

"Huh?!" He was surprised.

"Goby! Goby! Goby!" The public began to insist. The boy felt nervous. But he simply saw his wife's eyes. She really wanted to do something special with him. So, leaving his own doubts behind, he got up from his seat and walked directly to Deema who was receiving him with another microphone.

"Hey, are you sure?" He asked her nervously.

"Please, Goby. You've done this before with guppies. Only this time, the first time you and I sang alone" She replied at him.

"Yeah…that´s the poin-" Goby tried to explain, but she put her fingers on his lips. And she gave him a lovely smile.

"Just let yourself go, love" She winked at him. It seems that was enough for Goby to gain more self-confidence. So they both got ready for the karaoke show they were doing.

"Alright. I´m ready!" He said before the song started.

They both got carried away by the rhythm and the song. At the end of the lyrics, they both ended up facing each other with their noses touching each other. The song ended and they earned applause from everyone present in that karaoke club. The couple thanked the applause and held hands before saying goodbye.

"That's all for tonight. Goby and Deema Imani say goodbye!" The blonde guppy said it loudly and proudly calling herself Deema Imani finally.

That night was very spectacular for the couple. They were able to enjoy together the luxuries that the cruise offered them. And they still had a few days left to be able to take advantage of everything they had not tried yet. However, it was time to rest. The couple prepared for their first official night together. Goby prepared the bed to receive his wife. He was simply wearing black shorts. He undoubtedly showed his body formed thanks to physical activity. He lay down on the bed while he waited for his wife to be ready.

"Gobyyy…." Deema appeared from the bathroom. She walked towards him with a flirtatious smile showing him what she was wearing. She was wearing a pink nightgown that was a little short. It was a pair of pajamas that she recently chose and he was looking at her husband, waiting to see his reaction when he saw her like that.

"W-W-Wow" Goby couldn't think of many words. He had never seen Deema wear pajamas, much less ones that were very attractive and sensual, some would say "Y-Y-You look very good, you know?"

"Hmmm just good? I chose it because it seemed very comfortable to me...And I think for something else, don't you think?" Deema said that as she climbed onto the bed and approached her beloved husband slowly. Like she was cornering him. She lay down next to her looking at him very seductively.

"Well...Good is not the right word...This is more than that...You look...fantastic...and I don't know...Sexy?" Goby blushed a bit. He wasn't used to being so intimate with her.

"I have you, dear" The blonde smiled at her, because that was a term she expected to hear. At that moment, both of their heart rates increased and they blushed slightly. Although the most notable was Goby. The boy simply approached her and they were both face to face. Without wasting any more time, they both gave each other a passionate kiss.

"D-Deema…." Goby continued the passionate kiss. That kiss was different. Well, it was longer and more passionate. That kind of kiss they had never done before. Above all, a kiss that would not be done in public. While they were kissing, Deema hugged her neck while her husband hugged her waist without stopping kissing. The heat of the environment increased slightly and the boy got carried away a little and his hands began to go down a little further from the girl's waist. When she felt that touch, something began to bother her. It was at that moment that she reacted spontaneously.

"...E...E...Enough! ENOUGH!" Deema reacted a little violently and was about to push him.

"Woah!" He noticed this immediately and moved away from his wife a little. He noticed how she was agitated "Hey….I'm sorry...I thought you...Well...Sorry if I got carried away"

"Goby...I...well...(sigh) Can we...just sleep, please" She asked him.

"I understand. I'm sorry. I should have asked you if you were ready" Goby touched his neck with shame.

"No, Goby...It's not your fault...Just...Whatever...I just want to rest...And if you don't mind, I'd like you to give me... ..a little personal space" She changed her tone radically. The boy, without understanding much of her change, decided to agree so as not to disturb her.

He turned off the light and decided to sleep with her, but they wouldn't sleep together as he would have wanted. He simply sighed. He started to feel bad. He thought that he had acted wrongly by going with instinct. He didn't understand it though, because she was acting a little sultry as if she really wanted to. Without fully understanding it, he decided to sleep respecting his personal space. On the other hand, Deema felt much worse. She didn't want to treat him that way. Deep down, she wanted them both to discover her passion as a couple that night. However, when they were close to breaking that limit, some horrible memories came to her head. In those seconds, her mind went back in time, to that night when a not-so-nice guy wanted to abuse her intimately. She thought she had dealt with that trauma thanks to therapies and avoiding those thoughts. But when she was with Goby, she couldn't help but think about the boy who tried to rape her. With those thoughts, she could only sleep, hugging herself and trying not to cry so as not to worry her husband. What would have been a night of love and passion ended up being a disappointment for both of them. Luckily, they still had another few days left on their honeymoon trip. But I doubt they will try again after what happened that night. It seems like this topic is nowhere near over for both of them.

Oh wow...Unlike the previous honeymoon, this one looks like it didn't end very well. It seems that the newly married couple will have a problem to deal with. In the end, they will have to talk about it sooner or later. By the way. The song that Goby and Deema sing in this episode is called "You Are The Reason", performed by Calum Scott and Leona Lewis. I had a hard time choosing a song for both of them and I discovered this piece and I loved it

Apparently, this has been one of Gil's few plans that worked (possibly due to the help of the other guppies XD) Definitely, this wedding was very good with comedic moments (like Gil and Goby's duet), romantic and even emotional moments. The scene recording Goby's mother was very strong for me. I must confess that I shed a couple of tears while writing and reading that part. The two pending weddings are going to be just as interesting and I'm excited to get to that. And regarding Nonny's problem... well... it could be something serious in future chapters. Be aware of what can happen.

PrimroseRaspberry: Hello, friend! No matter how old Deema gets, she will still be the goofy guppy we love so much. The recording of Goby's mother is a very emotional moment that I had prepared. A mother's love has no limits. And of course, I see you got the Shrek 2 reference right. I just thought it could fit Goby and Deema's wedding party. The post-chapter of the previous chapter was very important and revealing. It looks like Wilma and Robynn are destined to see each other. And the worst? Harris is involved. Once again, we visit that frivolous prison where some of the villains of this saga are still locked up for their crimes. This time, we have to focus on Robynn, that strong and aggressive girl who tried to kill Zooli and Urchin in The Battle for BubbleTucky. But she was defeated by Zooli herself and her unexpected friend Sharon. Returning to the present, she was being escorted by some prison guards who were going to leave her alone with a visitor she was expecting. When the guards left, the girl noticed who the person who visited her was and smiled when she saw her.

"Hmpt….I...I was waiting for you, dear little sister" Robynn smiled at her.

"Sister...It's really you! You don't know how much I was looking for you!" It was Wilma. She was clearly happy to see her once again.

"Hehe…You were always the more sensitive of the two of us, Wilma" The older sister commented.

"Well...Now that we are face to face...I need you to tell me...What trouble did you get yourself into, sister? And why didn't you tell me anything before?" Wilma demanded answers.

"Well...It's only fair that I explain everything to you. I must tell you the truth" Thus, Robynn explained the events that occurred that led her to end up in that prison. However, for us who know the real version, let's say that she told a truth...half-truth.

"Wait...those Bubble Guppies left you here? I don't believe it. They wouldn't be bad enough to do that to you" Wilma said not very sure.

"Oh Wilma. You don't really know the Bubble Guppies. They always appear to be good to everyone. But that is just a facade to cover their true selves. They are very bad, I can assure you" Robynn explained her version.

"I'm not sure. Look, I'm close friends with one of them. I'm Goby's friend. He saved my life. I doubt he is bad" The younger sister replied.

"Hmmmm….Surely he used you. Tell me, dear sister...Did he tell you what happened to me before you came here?" The older Stone asked her.

"N-N-No….He never told me anything. In fact, he was very evasive on that particular topic" Wilma started to doubt about her friend.

"It's obvious. Because Goby was Zooli's accomplice! They, along with the Bubble Guppies, locked me up! You have no idea what I've been through in prison. It's just unfair. Those accusations that I was planning to annihilate a high school and an entire city with the House of Cadaverini are just farces. Does anyone seriously believe in such fanciful accusations? Sister...you know me well and I always thought about our good...Please, I need you to help me get out of here" Robynn explained at her.

"I don't know, sister. I don't know if I should. Whether those accusations are real or not…" Wilma tried to analyze it deeper.

"Come on! You know you owe me. Do you have any idea about all I did for you? Or did you forget? Please, I saved you...It's time you save me from this" The older one used her ability of persuasion. Wilma remembered her story with her sister and she knew she was right.

"(sigh) You´re right. But...still...How do you think I'll be able to get you out of here with those charges? I don't think a life sentence can be removed" The younger guppy analyzed.

"In fact, it can be revoked. We can get a good lawyer to present our case and try to reduce my sentence to probation" Robynn proposed.

"It's not a bad idea. But...I don't know how to get a good lawyer willing to take the case. It will be something difficult" Wilma commented.

"And this is the part where I come in, fellas" Both girls turned to look at the third person who entered the room. While Robynn smiled at the sight of him, Wilma felt intimidated. The subject simply removed his hood to reveal his identity. The boy simply laughed as his white eye with its X-shaped scar glowed faintly.
