Belos and The Collector meet
Meanwhile, back at The Archives. Belos-Raine is walking down the corridor, still controlling Puppet Raine's body. A drop of goo is flowing out of the eye and rolls down their cheek. Belos-Raine promptly flicks it off, with no reaction at all. The scene cuts to The Collector's bedroom, Belos-Raine opens the door and levitates down to the small planet where The Collector is resting in bed. Belos-Raine carefully lands on his feet and stands next to The Collector, still sleeping. Belos, controlling Puppet Raine, opens up their palm and starts releasing some goo, intending to possess The Collector. But it backfired when The Collector woke up in alert, and they quickly fling their blanket towards Belos-Raine.
The blanket wraps Belos-Raine up and immobilizes them. The Collector rises up from their bed. "You're not supposed to move on your own! How did you break your spell?" inquired The Collector, squinting in concern. Belos stares at The Collector. "The spell isn't broken," said Belos-Raine. Belos-Raine moves Puppet Raine's hand up towards their hair and lifts it up, showing the crescent moon symbol remaining on their forehead. "See? You take such good care of us Coven Heads, Collector, keeping us safe in the Archives. It was the uh... power of your kindness that brought me to life, so I could tell you-" said Belos-Raine, before The Collector drags them face to face. "What is it?!" inquired The Collector.
You're in danger, Collector." said Belos-Raine. The reflection of The Collector can be shown from Puppet Raine's glasses, as they went from angry to puzzled.
Kikimora
Meanwhile, back at New Hexside. Kikimora opens up the doors of the Detention Pit in her Abomatron. She walks over and drops Amity, Allyson and Mattholomule into the pit, wrapped in a ball of Abomination goo. Amity sets herself free from the ball of Abomination goo with her magic, then she frees Allyson and Matt. She gazes up to Kikimora with a furious expression. "What gives, Kikimora? Are you working for the Collector?" inquired Amity. "The days of Kikimora the underling are over. I prefer partnerships such as ours. We need to establish our rule now, for the well-being of future generations." said Kikimora as she gestures to Boscha, staring down at the trio.
Amity, Allyson and Mattholomule get themselves up while looking upon Kikimora on her Abomatron and Boscha. "I'm still catching up. What's the little red kitten trying to do?" asked Allyson. Amity turns her head to Allyson and she replies. "She's just copying Belos' "scare people into worship" thing because she has NO IDEAS OF HER OWN!" shouted Amity, turning her head against Kikimora. Mattholomule blows raspberries at Kikimora. "Oh, I'm going to enjoy this!" said Kikimora, rubbing her right fist on her left palm. She decided to jump into the Detention Pit along with the Abomatron, landing on its feet. "You think I'd just drop you in and walk away? No, I think I'll take you out myself!" said Boscha as she aimed a cannon at Amity.
Amity stands up and shields Allyson and Mattholomule standing behind her. Allyson looks up to Boscha. "Come on, kid! This is a bit much, even for you!" said Allyson. Boscha looks at Allyson and she glances to her side. She turns around and exits out of the Detention Pit, as the door closes by itself. Kikimora lets out an evil cackle and fires up the cannon directly at Amity. However, Allyson stops the direct hit with the vines from a plant glyph, making them wrap around the cannon. "You filthy human scum!!" yelled Kikimora. Allyson runs off and Amity proceeds to attack Kikimora by summoning some Abomination goo and firing at her. Kikimora was able to catch the goo with the Abomatron and she fires it back, only this time, at Allyson.
Amity gasps and pushes Allyson aside, with both of them falling to the ground. Mattholomule attempts to fight, but the pile of Abomination starts easily burying him underneath their feet. After the Abomination gooey burial, Matt pops his head out off the goo. "Ah! I don't deserve this!" cried Matt. Kikimora is trying to pull the vines off wrapped in the cannon, distracted. But then, some Abomination goo emerges from above and wraps around her Abomatron. Amity is controlling the Abomination goo with her magic, trying to hold on for her dear life. Allyson is drawing an ice glyph on the ground. "I- I- I- I think I remember the Ice glyph!" said Allyson as she grabs a bone and raises it in the air. Amity looks at Allyson. "Allyson, wait!" shouted Amity.
Allyson slams her hand into the ice glyph, activating it. A huge block of ice shoots out of the glyph and hits directly at the pit, causing rocks and rubble to fall all around the Detention Pit. Kikimora shields herself with the Abomatron's arm. Amity wraps herself and Mattholomule in a ball of Abomination goo and rolls away. Allyson pounces away before the falling rocks could hit her. Once the rubble hits the floor, Kikimora emerges from the rubble. "Don't think you've won just yet!" shouted Kikimora. She surveys around the background, looking for Amity, Allyson or Mattholomule. Allyson appears climbing on the rubble, behind Kikimora. "Hey! Kiki-miki!" shouted Allyson. Kikimora turns around and looks towards Allyson.
Allyson pulls out her pistol and shot three times. Kikimora shields herself again, preventing three bullets hitting her. She angrily growls at Kikimora. "Oh shit." cursed Allyson and then she flees away. Kikimora controls her Abomatron, making it run after Allyson. The scene cuts to Amity and Mattholomule searching for Allyson. "Allyson!" called out Matt. "Allyson! Are you okay?!" shouted Amity. Suddenly, Boscha lands in front of the duo, causing them to gasp in shock. Boscha stands up and stares at the duo with a menacing look on her face. Amity looks at Boscha sternly. "Let us go, Boscha." said Amity. "Oh, Amity. I already let you go. Many times. When you stop hanging out with the group, when you leave the grudgby team, when you disappear for months!" said Boscha, approaching Amity.
"What are you saying?" inquired Amity. Boscha stands in front of Amity, staring at her eye to eye. "I'm saying…" said Boscha. Then she grabs Amity's hand and kneels down before her. "Please come back!" said Boscha. Amity and Mattholomule gain some disgusted expressions on their faces after hearing what Boscha just said. "Huh?" exclaimed Matt. "Eh?" exclaimed Amity. "The others are gone, but... we can still be a team! We can rule New Hexside together. It'll be just like the old days! And maybe even better!" said Boscha, convincing Amity to join her. Amity and Matt stare at each other, uncertainly. Just then, something tumbles above them, making a really loud noise and causing the ground to shake. "Sorry, we don't have time for this." said Amity, walking away with Matt.
Just then, Boscha proceeded to hug Amity really tight, not letting her go. "I won't let you leave again!" shouted Boscha. Amity and Mattholomule were surprised. "Boscha, you're hurting me!" shouted Amity. Suddenly, they hear the sound of spell circles being drawn as a shoddily made stone statue emerges from the ground, separating them. "Oh crap, run!" shouted Matt. He slams a spell circle to the ground, creating some smoke, and he runs away with Amity. Boscha gets angry, as she kicks the statue's head towards the duo. Matt quickly activates a spell circle and puts on some Abomination gloves to catch the head of the statue. And he decided to throw it back at Boscha. But Boscha dodges the head approaching her, she throws a potion bottle at Matt, then summons her staff and runs after them. Matt was able to shield the potion bottle before it could hit him.
Boscha pushes Mattholomule aside with her staff and grabs Amity by the arms. Amity looks irritated. "Got you now, Blight!" said Boscha. She believes that she got her hands on Amity, when all of the sudden, a poof of smoke appears. Once it clears, it reveals that Boscha got her hands on Matt instead. And she backs off. "Huh??" exclaimed Boscha in confusion. "Cool, right? A little illusion trick Agustus taught me." said Matt. "But…Where's Amity? She didn't leave, did she?" inquired Boscha. Another puff of smoke appears behind Boscha. She turns around, only to see Amity sitting on the shoulder of a large Abomination figure. "I can't be who you want me to be, Boscha. But we can still save your teammates. Would you let us try?" asked Amity. Boscha starts to sweat, being forced to make the right decision.
Willow's bottling up
Meanwhile, somewhere in the Detention Pit. Hunter is desperately trying to wake Gus up by grabbing him by the collar. "Hey, Gus! Gus, Gus, are you okay? Can you hear me? Gus, wake up!" said Hunter in a panicked tone. Gus starts waking up and he squints at Hunter confusedly, believing that he's Boscha! "Huh? What? Ah! Boscha!" screamed Gus as he pushes Hunter aside and runs off. "It's okay! It's okay! It's just me." said Hunter. Gus crosses his arms and looks at the left. "What…happened? I remember smelling sleeping nettles." said Gus, turning back to Hunter.
"Yeah, and... I think I saw Kikimora, which is definitely a bad sign." said Hunter. Hunter looks down at the left and points. "That way is all caved in, so-" said Hunter, about to finish. But Gus chooses the opposite direction. "This way. Yeah. I'm ready to kick some new Hexside butt." said Gus and walks away. Hunter watched Gus marching away, he hugged his knees and buried his head in his arms. "Oh, Flapjack... Everyone's on edge and I don't know what to say. I wish you were here." said Hunter in a depressed tone. Suddenly, a vine emerges out of nowhere and grabs Hunter by the arm. "Huh?" exclaimed Hunter, noticing the vine.
Hunter breaks the vine off his arm. But more vines emerged, wrapping around Hunter's arms. "What's going on?" inquired Hunter. Suddenly, he heard Gus cry out in surprise. "Gus?!" shouted Hunter. He stands up and runs towards the sound's direction. "Gus!" shouted Hunter. Just then, Hunter notices something and he gasps in shock. In front of him, Gus is tightly wrapped on a vine, hanging upside down and looking horrified. And on the ground, Willow is wrapped in vines too. She turned her head around to look at Hunter and she had green glowing eyes. "Oh, Hunter!" said Willow, looking frantic. She pulls up her left arm and breaks some of the vines.
Willow draws a spell circle. "I had a little run-in with Boscha and got stuck down here. Gus just... surprised me." said Willow. Hunter looks at Willow, still shocked by what he sees. "What's going on?" asked Hunter as he rushed forward to Gus and Willow. "I've got it all under control," said Willow. She tries to set Gus free, but it only makes it worse when more vines emerge, wrapping Gus around. "Uh, I don't think this is working!" panicked Willow. Gus attempts to say something but the vines completely wrapped him up. Much to Willow's dismay, she is frantically trying to stop the vines from spreading. "I can do this. I can do this. I can do this! I can do this... I can do this…!" said Willow, trying to pull the vines on the ground away.
A tsunami of vines starts appearing all around her. Hunter tries to approach her, but he gets wrapped up in vines as well. "Hunter, help me!" shouted Willow. But she suddenly notices that Hunter is gone. Willow starts to feel overwhelmed with fear and horror. "Hello…?" said Willow, all alone in the place all covered in vines.
The Collector's new friend
Meanwhile, back at The Collector's bedroom. The Collector and Belos are staring at each other for at least a few minutes. The Collector starts to laugh and does a backflip in the air. "Me? In danger?" asked The Collector and kept laughing. Belos stares at The Collector in silence, and not uttering a single word. The Collector floats down to the bed after finishing laughing. "Ah, good one," said The Collector. "It's true. Someone very close to you is planning their betrayal, right- now." said Belos-Raine. Belos unwraps the blanket and hands it to The Collector. "You don't mean King, right? I don't know if you've noticed, but... he's my best friend." said The Collector. "And…where is he now?" asked Belos-Raine. The Collector begins to think, they look towards Francois and gain a hesitant look on his face.
Meanwhile, at Eda's hideout. A pair of glowing eyes appears on a wall, which it's The Collector. The Collector spies on King with a scroll depicting a titan using its sonic scream powers to kill off The Collector. Eda is sitting next to Lilith as she is reading from a book and hugging Puppet Hooty. "Alright, King. According to these uh... borrowed books, titan magic can actually cancel out the Collector's. And that's why his predecessors... Well, uh…" said Lilith, reading from the book. King looks solemnly. "Wiped out all the Titans?" asked King. Lilith looks at King and nods. "The important thing is that there is hope to defeat him. Maybe even trap him again." suggested Lilith. King denies Lilith's suggestion. "No! We can't do that!" said King.
The scene cuts back to The Collector's bedroom, as he takes off his hood off his eyes. "Hear that? He's looking out for me." said The Collector. Just before he said that, The Collector overhears Eda and King. "Why not?" asked Eda. "'cause it didn't work!" replied King. Upon hearing this, The Collector pulls down his hood to spy on King again. The scene cuts back to the hideout. "If we want things to go back to normal, the Collector needs to be stopped for good! And I think I know a more permanent solution." said King. The scene cuts back to The Collector, he becomes uneasy as he takes off his hood. "That didn't sound…very friendly," said The Collector.
The Collector becomes sad, he sits on the bed and hugs his knees with his arms. Belos-Raine walks up to The Collector and sits next to him. "I told you, Collector. They just want to put an end to your little games." said Belos-Raine. The Collector looks away, resting his head on his arms. Belos-Raine turns their gaze upon Francois and grabs it. "Why bother teaching them anything when you could just... wipe them out?" asked Belos-Raine. The Collector snatches Francois away from Belos-Raine. "Because I WANT to be their friend! And besides, my powers don't work on King." said The Collector, placing Francois on the drawer next to their bed.
"Who? The-dog?" asked Belos-Raine. The Collector turns his head towards Belos-Raine. "Yeah! 'Cause he's a Titan!" said The Collector. The Collector creates two illusions depicting a Titan's skull, whooshing past above their heads. Belos-Raine looks a bit surprised and his expression changes to be deep in thought. "You worked in the castle, Ray-Ray. You've seen the big old heart, still beating too. Titans are AMAZING!" said The Collector, floating in mid-air for a quick second. "When they're full grown, they are more POWERFUL than anyone!" said The Collector, lying back down on the bed. Without hesitation, Belos-Raine came up with an idea. "You know, I had an interesting idea," said Belos-Raine.
The Collector looks up to Belos, furrowing their right eyebrow. "Yeeeeeaaah?" intrigued The Collector. Belos-Raine waves their hand around The Collector's face. "No, maybe I shouldn't tell you." said Belos-Raine, teasing the child-like entity. The Collector floats up again and grabs onto their face, wanting to know their idea. "What? What wouldn't work? Tell me, or I'll hold my breath for a million years!" said The Collector. Belos-Raine let out a chuckle and gently put down The Collector's hand off their face. "Well, if you insist. I know someone who would love to play with you." said Belos-Raine. The Collector looks at Belos with a curious look on their face.
"And who's that?" asked The Collector. Belos checks Puppet Raine's right hand, looking confident. "We all know who is. I believe you know the name of…Luz Noceda?" inquired Belos-Raine. The Collector gets very surprised, as they stand up on the bed. "Luz? How did she come back? And why is she here?" asked The Collector. Belos-Raine shrugs. "Probably wanting to stop you. But that's just a silly thought of mine." said Belos-Raine. The Collector summons a star-shaped object and it shows Luz Noceda walking around the side of Latissa. The Collector gets confused about the attire that Luz is wearing.
"Is that Luz?" inquired The Collector. Belos-Raine nods as a response. "Don't mind the clothing she is wearing, she attended a special human holiday yesterday," said Belos-Raine. The Collector turned their head back to Belos-Raine. "What? Halloween?" guessed The Collector. "Correct. You must have been learning about the human holidays, haven't you?" said Belos-Raine, chuckling. The Collector crosses their arms and looks at Belos-Raine with a neutral face. "Yeah, because I've been trapped in-between realms for SOOO many years." said The Collector. "So, what if you played with Luz instead? Show her just how much fun your games are in person? Then she'll want to be your friend." inquired Belos-Raine.
The Collector gets enlightened by Belos' words and he gains a smile. "You think?" inquired The Collector. Belos-Raine nods again. "ALRIGHT!" cheered The Collector, ecstatically. The Collector summons a bright yellow star from below and places it above his head. They float up to the star and give another look at Belos-Raine. "Wish me luck, Ray-Ray!" said The Collector as they fly through the star, which shrinks and disappears before the child-like entity phases through. Belos-Raine swipes Francois away and starts rummaging through the drawer. Eventually, they find a small blue star and take it out. "Perhaps this will be easier than I thought." said Belos-Raine, smiling evilly.
The scene cuts back to Eda's hideout, with King discussing The Collector." The Collector is just a little kid. A scary, powerful one, but... also... sad, and alone. I don't know, this whole time, I was scared of making him mad, but... I think I can relate to him." said King. Eda smiles at King, listening to her little adopted Titan son. King walks towards Eda and looks at her. "Let me talk to him. Immortal being to semi-immortal being. It's worth a try if no more people get hurt. Right?" said King. Eda pulls King for a hug.Oh, you're growing up too fast for me, kiddo." said Eda and she kissed King on the head.
The Collector's games
Meanwhile, Luz is strolling around the town of Latissa. She is looking around the town, where everything is completely deserted and not a single victim is nowhere to be seen. Just then, Luz discovers a rat digging in a garbage bin for scraps. She approaches the garbage bin and grabs the rat with her left hand. The rat starts squeaking with fear and moving around, attempting to break free. Luz stares at the rat desperately trying to escape. She pulled out her kitchen knife, getting ready to kill the rat. She was about to gut the rat open when all of the sudden, a bright flash appeared behind Luz. The flash itself makes Luz drop the rat, as it flees away.
Luz turns around to look, but she closes her eyes due to the fact that the flash is too bright. After the flash, she was transported to a large Rubix cube, floating in mid-air in some kind of galaxy along with some gigantic toys floating nearby. Luz opens up her eyes and surveys her surroundings without a single reaction. She tilts her head to the right in a child-like curiosity. Suddenly, a bright flash of light shines and a pink star manifests above Luz. Luz looks up to see the pink star above her head. The Collector emerges from the star and floats down to Luz. "Hello! You must be King's human friend, Luz. King told me so much about you." greeted The Collector.
Luz stares at The Collector as she breathes heavily behind the mask. The Collector looks back at Luz, looking confused. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" inquired The Collector. Luz doesn't give The Collector a reply, she just stands there in dead silence. The Collector shrugs it off without knowing. "You know what? It doesn't matter." said The Collector. They flew towards Luz and floated right in front of her. "Someone told me that you like to play games. I am a master of every game that was ever invented, of course. And I figured, it would be fun to play with one more person." said The Collector. Luz kept staring at The Collector, holding the knife in her right hand.
Just when she was about to stab the unknown powerful entity, The Collector starts levitating into the sky and uses his god-like powers to summon something. "Let me show you some of my favorite games!" said The Collector. Luz tilts her head to the right. Sooner or later, a montage would begin. The first game is based on Pac-Man, as Luz Noceda is walking and surveying around a giant maze. She looks behind her back, only to see The Collector's enlarged head approaching her, chopping. Luz turns around and wields the knife up. She stabs The Collector's tongue after trying to eat her. The Collector gets annoyed and snaps his fingers, completely changing the game. The next game is marbles with Luz trapped inside a marble along with at least five puppets.
The Collector rises up from the background and they are ginormous. The Collector flicks a marble, making it hit Luz and a puppet that resembles a little pig demon named Tibbles. Luz was almost knocked out at some point. Luz charges at The Collector, making him fall by tripping on a marble. The Collector gets irritated and snaps his fingers, changing the game. The third game is Jenga, as Luz is standing on one of the top blocks. The Collector is riding on the pink star, and he's the one who's controlling the blocks, pulling them one by one and placing them on the top. Luz jumps towards The Collector, hopping into the star and makes him crash the tower of blocks.
The tower of Jenga blocks collapse along with Luz and The Collector. After the destruction, Luz rises up and The Collector angrily gets up. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" yelled The Collector, angrily. Luz slowly turns her head towards The Collector. "Are you trying to ruin our fun?! Do you think that I'm bothering you?!" shouted The Collector. Luz stares at The Collector without uttering a word. "SAY SOMETHING!!" yelled The Collector, getting frustrated. Just then, Luz gets up and keeps staring at The Collector. The Collector groans in frustration and floats up. "That's it!! You're going with the others!" threatened The Collector, pulling out a crescent moon. Luz starts walking towards The Collector with a menacing presence.
The Collector was about to flick the moon at The Shape II, but she charged at them, and grabbed him by the neck. "Ack!" gagged The Collector. Luz pins The Collector to a Jenga block who is standing after the fall and starts strangling them. The Collector begins to choke from Luz's strength. "What…are you…doing?!" choked The Collector, kicking their feet, trying to hit Luz. Luz kept strangling The Collector without showing any remorse and not wanting to let go. "Let…me…go." choked The Collector. Luz is still strangling The Collector, denying his request. The Collector kept trying to set himself free from Luz's stranglehold, but his gaze changed towards The Shape II's eyes.
As the entity looked into Luz's blackest eyes, it triggered some bad memories to flash right before theirs, like being sent to the Demon Realm from The Archivists, gets imprisoned in-between realms, getting betrayed by Emperor Belos, etcetera. The Collector lets out a sonic wave scream, sending Luz to fly off and hit the ground. Once The Collector hits the floor, the giant Jenga disappears in smoke, transporting back on top of the planet-sized Rubix cube. The Collector stares at Luz lying on the floor and then starts hyperventilating. His hands began to tremble and his heart pounds fast. "What's going on? Why am I trembling? Why is my heart pounding?" asked The Collector, swallowed by fear and confusion combined.
Luz rises up again, scaring The Collector. "Get away from me!!" screamed The Collector. They eventually fly away from Luz. Luz watches The Collector flee away in terror and she gets herself back up. She looks around the endless void of toys, but luckily, Luz manages to find a door. The door is just standing by itself with no walls holding onto. Without any hesitation, Luz walks towards the door. She placed her hand on the doorknob, twisting it and opening the door. Luz looks through the door, spotting one of the corridors of The Archives. She walks through the door and closes it, leaving the room. The scene cuts to The Collector still flying away and hides behind a giant square, sitting in the corner.
They still looked horrified as The Collector placed their hand on their neck and shed some tears. "What is that?...That wasn't fun. That wasn't fun at all..." whimpered The Collector as they hugged their legs in fear and started sobbing quietly. The scene would fade to the view of the giant Rubix cube, with The Collector still sobbing with fear.
