"You know as well as I do how fragile things are back in Republic City. Tensions between the benders and non benders are getting worse with each day. I fear that if Korra were to visit the city as it is now with her level of maturity it's possible she would just add fuel onto the fire" stated Tenzin.
While Kado still disagreed with the course of action Tenzin and the white lotus was taking, he couldn't deny the logic in Tenzin's words. "But I want you two to think about this. Sooner or later Korra will have to venture into the outside world, you can't keep her locked away forever. The sooner she is allowed to leave this compound, the better" stated Kado as he stood up.

"Are things really that bad in Republic City" asked Korra in a curious tone, Kado nodding his head.
"Things seem alright on the surface, but tensions are bubbling and rising. "I think that's enough talk about Republic City for now.
